9341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Death during illegal cockfighting raid on: October 31, 2020, 05:54:51 PM
WTF!! what did those around that police do, why didn't anyone try to stop the bleeding that hit the policeman?  It took 45 - 60 minutes for humans to die from bleeding out of the blood, it seems that the alertness of his friends and the hospital is very slow.
The injury was severe based from op and it's the femoral artery. I'm not an expert in human body and nerves but it seems that because of the sharp blade, that cut his part and ended his life quickly. While looking for some articles how vital and important that part is, it says that it's one of the major arteries in our body. (https://www.healthline.com/human-body-maps/femoral-artery)
Damaging or cutting it will actually lead to a very fatal result that we're not expecting as quick as it is.
9342  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Death during illegal cockfighting raid on: October 30, 2020, 11:48:07 PM
No offense but how does this news become related to gambling and cryptocurrency in general?

Exactly, but we can somehow relate this to crypto gambling by discussing how we can promote "online cock-fighting" betting that are also available for crypto betting.
It can be related to gambling in general but in crypto, there's no relation. I haven't seen any online cockfight that accepts crypto. But I see online cockfights that are only accepting fiat I am not sure if they are permitted although cockfight is allowed in some parts but that's only in physical arenas not online.
IIRC, online casinos that are based in our country still has problems in operation due to government rules. Btw, rest in peace to the police officer. They will take safety precaution next time if they are about to raid again in the future.

And now they won't be playing that game anymore since someone died and it was on the part of the authorities.
No, but they will only continue and would look for another place that's hidden.
9343  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: withdraw freebitco.in trouble, whether freebitco.in a scam? on: October 30, 2020, 10:54:08 PM
----
To be fair with the user; I did also get the error in the tx back when he published; and yes, I noticed the dot and removed it. I suppose it was a blockchain.info sync error, because AFAIK, freebitco.in can't get the TXID before it is generated
I've noticed that quickly because I usually have that error whenever I use it. And it's freebitco.in, there really are no problems with them. I doubt it that a case about withdrawal will come up like this but it's not. It's only op has probably worried that he can't see the TXID on the network but he hasn't noticed that there's an excess character which is the dot that he has added to the txid upon searching.
9344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cashless gaming now available in land-based casino in USA on: October 30, 2020, 09:40:37 PM
The pandemic has really led a lot of things, adoptions and innovations just like this topic that you've brought op. The need for cashless system in a casino is needed to avoid contact with the virus through paper money. They can operate again even without bringing cash on their pockets as long as they have wallets ready. This could also open to the possibility of adopting bitcoin into their payment methods, I hope that they will start to adopt it soon.

As long as people only use the casino card, they can minimize contact with the virus through paper money. They can wear gloves while they are in the public area, so they don't have to touch it by their hand directly. To adopt bitcoin to their payment methods, I think it will need more time to happen because the casino needs many things before they can implement the payment using bitcoin or other coins. If the casino can implement it, I think it will have more options to gamble instead of just using the card.
I also don't understand if establishments like casino are thinking of the contact through plain cash, why they just don't wear the gloves? I have this thought in my mind but anyway, safety is safety and it's the most important to most physical casinos and other establishments that don't have any other option of payment but with cash. The adoption of crypto for physical casinos, don't think of it anytime soon. We have online crypto casinos that are dedicated on this and they have their base users and customers that prefer what they offer.
9345  Economy / Gambling / Re: primedice and stake dont show you your profit stats, it is a form of scam on: October 30, 2020, 08:45:17 PM
Hiding stats doesn't literally mean that they are a scam. Scamming means that they're taking money from you without anything in return. But in the case of hiding the stats but you can even ask them to get that info, that's not a scam. You have the option to do so but if they don't give you an option to know those stats, you sure will be pissed off by that. You, as a customer or probably a loyal user of that casino, they will hear your concern not unless they are firm with their decision and there must be some internal reasons why they do that. Stunna/Micro, they've been around here for a long time and respected by most people that knew them because they are real to their business. Your concern is a form of dissatisfaction from the change that they've made but they have given you the solution by asking them.
9346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on DeFi on Bitcoin Network? on: October 30, 2020, 07:53:44 PM
I don't think that's a good idea. Just stay on Ethereum or any altcoin blockchain that they can use for another Defi product. Defis are good as it is today, nothing more nothing less.

IMO it is nothing more than trying to use the name of Bitcoin to fish money from retail investors.
They'll use the name of bitcoin again to milk the investors, whether they will serve that it's a secured network or so. But nothing new just like those forks that made through bitcoin.
9347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why now? Are these wallets hacked? on: October 29, 2020, 11:20:32 PM
The owner is simply moving those coins to another personal wallet or an exchange.
Expect something as transferring of huge amounts when the market's bullish. Not that new incident and you probably have missed those bigger transfers before than you have said.
9348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: I need BTC - Will pay using paypal - only trusted user contact on: October 29, 2020, 09:53:34 PM
Marketplace (Altcoins) is not the perfect place for this deal. Currency exchange(https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0) is where you mostly see this type of trade. There are trusted people there that are fine to deal through PayPal. It's good that you have set that standard already, just look for the right one and indicate how much you'll be needing. You can post to their threads too if necessary.

9350  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin reach $20k fee will be huge? on: October 29, 2020, 08:35:52 PM
I don't think the fees will rise too high. This will still be a great deal.
During 2017, fees were high because of the network spam and a lot of unconfirmed transactions were made. We have segwit now and fees were reduced, thanks to it. I'm expecting that fees are about to increase if we go back to $20k but it's not going to be that high anymore IMO.
The explanations about the network and unconfirmed txs are the main reason for it. If we see $20k and the unconfirmed txs aren't that much, expect fees to be lower and if not, vice versa.
9351  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥Sportbook and Casino: BITSLER > $10,000 DAILY Wagering contest < on: October 29, 2020, 03:41:18 PM
What's with the discussion about bitsler could cancel their license? Bitsler won't do that anytime they want. They've built their reputation for a very long time and they're now considered as one of the most trustworthy casino. For that matter, I didn't even thought of it. I don't know how it ended to have that thought about cancellation of their license anytime. In fact, it's at the bottom of the site and the license is indicated.
9352  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: withdraw freebitco.in trouble, whether freebitco.in a scam? on: October 29, 2020, 01:43:03 PM
There is no error with the TXID. (https://www.blockchain.com/btc/tx/013dc49cf90068a632eb9ce34c56dd6ca3d730d297f18a2833dc56ecc4b4112b)
Remove the dot "." at the end and you won't be getting any error from your post. I usually have that error but I've found out that it's a very character sensitive and even a dot will direct you an error which makes you think that the TX you've made has error. The transaction currently has 26 confirmations.
9353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Multi bets vs single bets on: October 28, 2020, 10:07:04 PM
I prefer to single bets. For each bet that I make, I'm making sure that it's already clear before I go to the next match. There were times that I did multi bets but I want to watch the games that I watch because those bets were playing at the same time.
It's your daily preference to go for multibets or just single bets. Whichever makes you even better and comfortable, single or multi, you know yourself better.
9354  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC.com - The most advanced cryptocurrency exchange on: October 28, 2020, 09:24:18 PM
AFAIK, Elrond has migrated and launched mainnet and they're now called Egold. This has something to do with it. I see that they're not yet on the market pairs on coinmarketcap. It means that they haven't finished the upgrade. See all the details on the links.

I hnow elrond was change the name of token from erd to egld, and redenomination of 1000 ERD:1 eGLD.. But what i asked was why HitBTC shut down deposit and withdrawal for so long (3 months!!) ,if they dont whant to make the swap to egld, at least open the withdrawal.
We can't do something with that if they have shut the withdrawals for that long. There were exchanges that are acting like that for the sake of those upgrades and just wanted to make sure that everything goes well before they open it. But in this case of Hitbtc, we can't remove the doubt that they're acting incorrect because of those complains that we always hear from their users. If they won't read this thread of theirs, contact the support and ask them why it's taking that long.
9355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Game lover ? Have you invested for a gaming project ?? on: October 27, 2020, 09:22:32 PM
I've known Enjin as one of the most successful gaming projects. There were also gaming-blockchain-based projects during 2017 and there were a lot of them but almost none of them survived. The name of the project you have brought up is the same as the Gamecredits. It's also one of the projects that were common before but not anymore today.

9356  Economy / Economics / Re: The pandemic did push the world towards a more digital age. on: October 27, 2020, 08:48:36 PM
What a great time to be Bitcoin Enthusiast.
It has always been. You will appreciate those times when there were a lot of known people bashing bitcoin and even moves the emotion of speculators and observers of bitcoin. Even your friends that don't trust it are not also trusting you but here go the known companies adopting it. And for the businesses that have closed down, there are a lot of them that chose to have their transition through e-commerce. They're more effective in this pandemic and just look at the e-commerce leaders, they've gained a lot in profit.

How you there buddy. I'm sorry with your experience but just before your post, look how many scam accusations and bad experiences where said on hitbtc.
You possibly didn't searched for feedbacks about them before using them. This is one of the many reasons why most of the forum members are avoiding hitbtc, it's because instead of ease, they bring inconvenience.

Is anyone here waiting for Calvin Abueva to join the bubble? do you have any idea when he will be included? I saw the news of Topex Robinson being emotional about him. Is it really Marcial who's the reason why it seems that the process of Abueva getting into the bubble is slow?

Calvin Abueva is already in the bubble and participating in a Phoenix practice and he is now just waiting for a go signal from the commissioner's office as he already got his license renewed.

Don't know what the real score here but IMO, commissioner Marcial is the villain here on the eyes of the people but for sure he ha his reason why until now Calvin is still not playing.
He's back and Phoenix just won as he play. It's an overwhelming win for them as he comesback with the team. The fans have lifted their spirits as they saw Abueva back in the track. It's very exciting to see him play again. (https://sports.inquirer.net/407522/phoenix-overcomes-nlex-in-calvin-abueva-return)
This link is the summary of what happened to him. (https://www.spin.ph/basketball/pba/calvin-abueva-suspension-timeline-a795-20201026)
9360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Introducing : Dogecoin Cloud Mining on: October 26, 2020, 07:04:24 PM
for people who have the opportunity to read this post of mine:

This site that OP is posting here on that thread is not Cloud Mining Is a Hyip site. Cloud Mining sites show mining equipment and do not offer the return plans that OP is offering on this thread. Op did not show any mining equipment and we all know that mining does not give a guaranteed profit and mining does not give a 176% profit in just 3 months. if that happened many people would be rich to do mining and i'm talking about people and not companies
Thank you for that clarification still both are classified as likely to be scams. That's the reason why we all leaned to the explanation and topic of this thread thus, the website also portrays and classify themselves as a cloud mining. But it's true that they're a HYIP but with all of those scams that are rotating within us, a cloud mining or hyip we both tag them as scams. Scammers are easily using the word mining for those newbies that don't understand what is hyip and cloud mining.

We always have to separate cloud Mining legitimates (even if they have red flags) and Sites Hyip/Ponzi (which is the case of the site that the OP posted on that thread).

The legitimate Cloud Mining sites have red flags like:

- They are not profitable, but the owners of legitimate cloud mining keep saying that customers can make profits in 6 or 9 months, at least that's what they said in the past because I haven't been following news on cloud mining for a long time.

But that doesn't mean that we have to call all Legitimate Cloud Mining sites as scam, even if they are actually scam! why do i say that? because it's up to people to make profitability calculations, legitimate cloud mining shows mining equipment and shows who owns cloud mining, the part of making cloud mining profitability calculations Is each person's responsibility, if the person loves their money then the person will do research
It's almost impossible to get a contract with the legit cloud mining. Most of the time they are filled and the return isn't that much, that's why it's not that profitable at all. It's even better to buy and hold bitcoin or any coin of yours than putting it into a contract. And the desire of looking for such is leading a lot of newbies to fall for those fake and scam cloud mining because they tend to think that they're all the same. But the fact is that most of them are not really going to give a favorable percentage or profit to anyone who will take their contracts. I've never been into it as I say that many of them are scam and even the legit one, I avoid them.
