9341  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Tradesatoshi - BEWARE! Blocking without reasons. on: March 12, 2019, 07:56:01 AM
This is really quite strange, I've always seen tradesatoshi as one of those small exchanges where you could do anonymous sends and withdrawals. With the amount of shitcoins there it's really a surprise that they are suddenly asking members to do KYC, and after all, the funds are yours. They shouldn't accept it in the first place.

And from their email, it looks like they consider themselves a financial institution now?
9342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Off grid Bitcoin on: March 12, 2019, 07:11:14 AM
It sounds really very interesting OP but my concern is not so much about how to learn it but how to access and get people to use it. I mean, in an emergency event, people will all be doing their best to stock food and maybe even use radio but for walkie talkies. I think the last thing people want to do is find a way to use Bitcoin. Not because I don't believe in it but the time is not yet right, priority is still too low unless Bitcoin is the main currency. Good work you are doing though!
9343  Economy / Gambling / Re: SocialBet Launches! :: Make Gambling Social Again! :: 0% House Edge on: March 11, 2019, 12:51:09 PM
When I saw 0% house edge I immediately thought surely there is a commission or fee taken on everything but hey, it doesn't seem to say so on the site, or can someone show me I'm blind and point it out?

It's not the first time someone has tried this, by the way, for all you "gambler" posters who claim this is the first time you've ever seen it. Google 0% house edge and see what I mean.

OP the burning question you haven't answered is "Why on earth KYC"?
9344  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Wicotiz Mastercard- To good to be true??? on: March 11, 2019, 10:17:41 AM
I'm from Southeast Asia but the reference or linkage to Vietnam already makes me doubtful of this product. I think it is still possible actually to get debit cards without ID, at least in my country they allow you to do that. You just buy a card or order it and you can top it up as much as you want. But a credit card without ID? That's just impossible. Banks don't give credit to anonymous people;)
9345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 3.75% of Americans ready to invest in ICO? on: March 11, 2019, 08:45:17 AM
So almost 4 out of 100 Americans are ready to invest in ICOs? So this means 1 in every 25? It doesn't sound very right, especially since they should know by now what happened to over 90% of ICOs. I thought Americans were better with their money and especially with all the conditions politically and economically, I would think Americans are more interested in storing wealth than investing, meaning Bitcoin over ICOs. Then again, maybe they think they can borrow money from their banks to invest. Strange isn't it? Pouring fiat into ICOs.
9346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto advice needed on: March 10, 2019, 02:13:40 PM
Wait so let me get this straight. Your friend only has tokens from airdrops and from bounties, and some of them are worth $30 and some even as high as $50? So basically, he is sitting on maybe over $100 worth of tokens that he didn't invest a single cent on, either he got them for free or in return for some promotion?

What is the complaint now? He's making money without risking anything. No advice needed.
9347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: March 10, 2019, 01:06:11 PM
I got the desired result, but Atletico really did show that this fight is far from over, and this is as much as I was ready to expect anyway.

Perfect result for me would be to see Real Madrid lose again, but even a draw will keep me satisfied. I'm not even a hater to be honest, but instead it is that much respect I have for Real that I don't feel safe even with a 10 points gap advantage.

Harkorede, didn't know you were Barca as well, good luck to us! I have a strong feeling the final this year will be very exciting, even without Real!
9348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 10, 2019, 11:53:43 AM
Burnley is 20.5 to win against Liverpool. If this was a match last season I would have taken the bet anyway. But 9.1 for a draw is also very tempting, except I remember Liverpool scored their biggest win after drawing twice, but who knows? We saw an upset against Spurs, Burnley is not a shit team.

But of course. Arsenal vs United. Bookies give Arsenal small edge because it is a home game but if Solkjaer wins this the job should be his.
9349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 09, 2019, 01:34:07 PM
Crystal Palace are very frustrating sometimes! I can still remember they only had 3 shots on target against City and still scored all three, and the very next game they had something like 15 shots and not a single goal. Now it's half time and they're behind by one goal to Brighton (who scored from the only shot on goal!).

It's such an incredible season for shots in the Premier League, I do feel sort of envious the La Liga is falling behind in that department, used to be the other way around.

I do hope somehow Chelsea or Arsenal slip up badly at the end of the season, so I can see a new team enter Europa League. But does anyone know, if one of the English teams wins Europa, is there an extra spot for European competition? It would be awesome for Watford or Wolverhampton to play there.
9350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: March 09, 2019, 01:13:37 PM
I know today looks meaningless but if Athletico win, Barcelona have to win. We play after the Madrid game so for a few minutes at least, the 7 point gap could turn out to be 4, and that's still too uncomfortable for me as a Barca fan. For sure, we are still in control of our destiny and even if we lose when Atletico visit, we are still 1 point ahead but it would be nice to make sure it is a 7 point gap when that happens.

Surprises today you think for anyone except Barca?
9351  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How are you going to secure your bitcoins for your next of kins? on: March 09, 2019, 08:58:39 AM
I'm really sorry to read about all these news, I always feel sad when I read about people who pass, and it's so nice to see that even online community and a Bitcoin community can get together to say some words about Zepher.

I never really thought about my Bitcoin and who will receive it when I pass. I want my parents to get it, since I have no one else, but I fear they may never know how to use it. And even worse if I start to do multisig. They will just get lost.

What's the solution for issues like mine?
9352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: less interest of investors to buy ICO on: March 09, 2019, 08:38:28 AM
most ICOs are only garbage tokens when they are registered in the market and this makes investors less interested in ICO. besides that ICO now only thinks of investors to be interested but not with its development and this is a fatal mistake. ICO development must also be balanced with sophisticated technology so that tokens are not easily dumped.

On the other hand, most "investors" into ICOs are also garbage speculators who are only interested in making a quick buck. If they are a bit more educated and know how to make some deductions then okay, market cap, token economics and what not are of interest to them. But the average investor doesn't care about actual tech or even plan to use these coins. So once the profit potential goes, so does the invest potential.
9353  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: weird drop in bitcoin price on coinmarket cap for one hour on: March 08, 2019, 11:47:57 AM
As some have said above, it's weird, yes. It's unusual yes. But it's not rare. It does happen from time to time, on any platform. I've used several and in the past when I used to really spend hours every day just staring at the live markets, you could see even for a second or so some very weird crashes, but when you tried to pull up the historical chart again, you wouldn't see it.

Just a bug, or perhaps even a very sharp order filled but at such low volumes that it doesn't record on chart times. One hour is a long time though... you should have made a video.
9354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your past experience will always be an added advantage on: March 08, 2019, 11:14:28 AM
Any kind of experience is good. May be in crypto or maybe outside crypto. However, this experience makes a man perfect trader and speculator in trading. During my internship, I have met one stock trader who was one of the 20-30 people who didn't get loss in a big drop in our local stock market. This is because of his experience. He was aware that market will get crashed and he got out of the market before two months of the crash and his speculation came true.

This is something I'll always back up. Any experience is good experience. In fact, sometimes the bad experience is the best. I've gotten scammed and ripped off in the past. I've even got infected by viruses and had my email password stolen because I was stupid enough to download stuff and install without checking.

Bought crypto without thinking much about the risk? Lost almost 100% of value from a shitcoin? Been there, done that.

All those mistakes teach me something, and I'm grateful for them.
9355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Airdrops on: March 08, 2019, 09:50:23 AM
Airdrops are hit and miss. More miss than hit. If I look back on my portfolio of airdrops, it's really funny to see some of the best performing ones I got with the least effort, either by contributing useful criticisms of their project of course and credit to the developer for rewarding me. Some of the ones I had to sign up for and do this and do that, worth zero til today.

The best even are those who airdropped without me knowing anything at all. So my point is, don't waste your time unless you're actually going to use the token.
9356  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin at $9,000 by the end of the year on: March 08, 2019, 09:02:12 AM
This isn't just wishful thinking, there are a lot of great signs in the market that point the way for Bitcoin to hit $9,000 by the end of the year:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZIX2O6C6bWs&feature=youtu.be

I don't know about you, but any form of speculation is really some way of wishful thinking, to me anyway.

Guys like Tom Lee maybe use some kind of TA and other insightful analysis, but at the end of the day, you can look back at all his predictions for 2018 and realize that he was just being a hopeful speculator like the rest of us.

CNBC too, those guys are funny, do opposite of what they say and you make profit.
9357  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.me - 🎲 Crypto Casino 🎰 Multi-Currency | Rainbot | Roll Hunt | Bonuses on: March 08, 2019, 06:46:47 AM
It's important tip for new gamblers.
Getting free small amount of coins from rain bot.
Then, using them to gamble for learning, getting experience before really make deposits and officially gambling.  Smiley

I think rain and faucets are always useful to entice new players to try the game and see how it works yes, but there really is nothing like having your own money to really have a proper good time. I'm not even talking much. Imagine if you walk into a casino, and decide you know what I'll buy $10 worth of chips or change to coins if you want to play at those coins casinos, you could have a good 30 minutes of fun.

$10 in Bitcoin is right now about 260,000 satoshi. I can play with that for hours and test different strategies. Can't do that with rain.
9358  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2018-2019 on: March 08, 2019, 06:14:39 AM
If I was an Arsenal fan (I’m obviously not) I’d be pissed off tonight but confident that they can still qualofy for the 1/4 final. They only need to win 2-0 at home to advance & I think they will.

Wonder what odds they are to qualify.

I'm not an Arsenal fan but it is frustrating to see a good side lose like that to a not so good side. The red card shouldn't really be an excuse they still have enough star quality to win, but I guess they are still finding their way around in Europe. They played and won almost every game until the last stage, so maybe it's just a case of tiredness but they don't have other games except the league now.

They can easily win 3-0 at home too, I agree. But all the way is tough.
9359  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is kaboomracks a legit reseller of used mining hardware? on: March 07, 2019, 03:10:30 PM
It doesn't actually matter if the guy's a reseller with trust or no trust. Just get an escrow from the forum if you don't know anyone, they'll charge at maximum 5%, which is a hell lot of an insurance for something this big of an investment. You want to spend money on hardware, even cheaper second-hand rigs, then you want peace of mind. And yes, read the trust comments. Sometimes, the score isn't reflective of the actual trading reputation.
9360  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🚀 Micro Exchange with Poker & Dice & Roulette 🔥🚀 on: March 07, 2019, 11:24:32 AM
Okay, seems like a good process. Just want to note spelling error in "Registered!" once you signed up a username. I clicked on verification link from email but didn't see any confirmation that I was verified, but it seems I am already at Level 1 so I guess I'm good to go.

Not sure the poker will do well because you have verification Level 2 there. Will poker ever require you to complete it? KYC verification is a big no-no for crypto gambling I must say.

Registered for the 2pm game, which is late evening my time, in a few hours. See if I can stay late!
