9361  Other / Meta / Re: Since attack on bitcointalk, email trouble. Anyone else? on: October 08, 2013, 05:17:10 AM
I wasn't online at the time of the attack but I don't think the payload had anything that could do something of that sort
You could check with theymos but maybe clear your cache logs but since it is an e-mail no clue how to fix it
9362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am scared by the thought! on: October 08, 2013, 05:14:58 AM
For some reason I thought of a weird move
He uses all the bitcoins from jail to buy the most elaborate prison escape in history
9363  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Writer seeking a little technical help on: October 08, 2013, 05:14:06 AM
I agree for an Alt-Coin scenario based on current models the Bitcoin tech needs specialized gear
9364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SilkRoad domain Seized? on: October 08, 2013, 05:11:18 AM
Well if the cops asked about fake ID's and they were the operator of Silk Road I think two and two come up a lot faster
9365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the point of Altcoins? on: October 08, 2013, 05:09:20 AM
Think of Bitcoin as Myspace...Pioneers.
I believe there will be an Altcoin that can take over Bitcoin and become the new standard....like Facebook.

Actually it is Friends reunited which was the first pioneer, then came MySpace.

you forgot about Xanga

No one remembers Xanga
Until you mention Xanga

9367  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What are your thoughts for the US government temp. closing? on: October 08, 2013, 05:05:35 AM
Yep that 15% is significant know some people who work in the government and they are now on a mandatory strike in essence.
No wages no income just waiting on the government to bring their jobs back.

9369  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you think BTC will hit $200? on: October 08, 2013, 05:03:24 AM
Optimistically, I say yes. Really hard to say, though. It is promising, however, that my non-tech-savvy friends are starting to talk about it and ask me questions about it. I have hope.

Same sentiment actually been tricking people to slowly earn a few dollars in btc just in case
9370  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Opinion on the US on: October 08, 2013, 05:00:43 AM

9374  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1F1tAaz5x1HUXrCNLbtMDqcw6o5GNn4xqX on: October 08, 2013, 04:32:48 AM
1F1tAaz5x1HUXrCNLbtMDqcw6o5GNn4xqX should be printed on a t-shirt.

Secondly, what if a poster on said address declared that all his contributions are considered a loan, wouldn't that make it more difficult for the FBI to liquidate the funds IF they do have access to private key?

That would make for one heck of a long shirt XD
9375  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you think BTC will hit $200? on: October 08, 2013, 04:22:22 AM

9377  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do You Think The Price of Bitcoins Will Go Down To $5.00? on: October 08, 2013, 04:19:24 AM

It will never happen , I mean with all this people saying ' I would buy a bunch of it if it did' the price will never go back that much , not for hundreds of years. Inflation on the other hand is something else . So basically yes it wont be 5 dollars , but it will be something worth of 5 dollars today. Like you can buy a 12 pack coca cola with 5 dollars now? you will be able to buy that with 1 coin but it will be somethign like 50 dollars due to inflation.

Never say never.

Bieber ruined it for me Smiley
