Neither can I, its not an abusive rating. I wouldnt give it though. At least not currently, if someone reads this 2021 and I changed my mind, sue me. It leads to what is currently common though, throw away accounts are used to sell accounts. This makes it impossible for account sellers to establish a reputation of good quality product. Good quality meaning, not hacked, not farmed with spam, signed message to confirm it was traded freely. This makes this market more confusing and might possibly do more bad than good.
I disagree with it doing more harm than good. Let's take a look at 2016 (or somewhat earlier, although the situation my be better the further you delve into the past) before I started tagging account sellers: How many people had an established account for trading accounts? How many of those were established and selling good accounts (e.g. not farmed up by games & rounds, by standard spam, hacked, et al.)? I don't recall any (although I may have not been looking hard enough). However, if we look at the opposite side, you can find a fair number of sold accounts that were used for spamming, scamming and whatnot. One recent example was Extrabyte. That possibly could have been prevented with a tag. He gave negative feedbacks to reduce his possible competitors for his ACE Campaign.
I have said this plenty of times: ACE is not 'mine'. If you can convince 51% of the members that I should be kicked from it, then that would happen.

This was part of the DIY series, right? Do you still have the original hologram? If you do, then I'm opening it up at: 0.01 BTC

I think no post in alternate cryptocurrencies rule is a joke right? you want people to submit nearly 50 posts weekly and fighting against spam as well but can you do it yourself? I know this is bitcoin mixer but there are many people in altcoin sections that using bitcoin as well.
That's a rule which was set by Bitmixer a long time ago. I do not have any strong stance on whether it's particularly good or bad. If you have strong reasons to get it removed, then you should try to talk to Bitmixer and see what they will say.

If you spot a ponzi, you can report it to moderators or inform the community in appropriate section.
What are you talking about? This section is the appropriate section for ponzi's. There is no distinct difference between *legit investor* based games and ponzi's, nor does the staff moderator any scam attempts. My proposal is to simply nuke the board and delete it. Too much shit going on there.
A lot of people are opposed to this idea because it will result in users posting these *games* everywhere. However, I don't find it troublesome to handle considering the wast number of patrollers that the forum has. The questions are always, whether the pros outweigh the cons and whether they are solutions that are potentially better than just plain removal.

So then its all suspicion. I do expect a lot of spammers come here to make a living but your 1:10 ratio seemed out of line to me.
Not exactly 'all suspicion. One can't create this conclusion for all campaigns and at all times (as obviously it will differ due to various factors). However, this is just upscaling of localized numbers. I'm sure its quite a lot but I doubt that many are spammers. It may just seem like that. Thanks for taking the time to answer me.
I'm pretty sure that there are more than the majority seems to think. Just remember, we have several examples of 1 person owning over 10 accounts.

It's a nice looking item, especially since it uses carbon fiber. A cheap raffle would most likely fill up quickly. The collectors here like to spin the wheel.
You should probably do it after New Year's Eve though.

we have to build a foundation. after that we can use our funds and start development.
Said no genuine, open-source, cause ever. The DAO has a bug; but, it's okay we are still in Beta.

Your thread has actually good humor in it, while actually reflecting on the situation on this forum. ETH and ETC (albeit arguably better because it isn't a bail-out coin) are prime examples of overvalued shitcoins that are being hyped up because of similar excuses. They even went as far as pumping it during a Bitcoin rally (today).

Do you have like specific stats to show this? Or is it just your belief.
Aside from the SMAS blacklist vs. total number of participants, or Bitmixer (number of participants vs. number of banned users), I can't give any stats. For example, in Bitmixer the ratio was ~1:8 (1 participant for every 8 banned users) last time I checked. It's pretty much impossible to figure out determine who is who (genuine vs. spammer) on a global scale (i.e. for everyone).
Tl;dr: It is my belief based on my own observations / work.

I'm not exactly buying this story. How many Bitcoins do you claim to have on there? I'm not sure whether they have a representative on this forum.

Second: I dont like personal vendettas against anyone. I have a opinion that I dont think is so far away from Laudas. But its opinion.
All trust ratings are opinions. However, valid trust ratings are usually a reflection of some sort of action. Trading accounts is an action. It's not much different from newbies getting tagged for asking loans without collateral, investor based games getting tagged on sight, and similar. In all of those cases, technically no scam (or similar) has yet occurred. And when a staff member are abusing it then its much worse than if a member does it.
The trust ratings of a staff member (DT) are not any different from other people's (DT) ratings. This system is independent from moderation, thus no ratings can be considered 'staff ratings' or 'official ratings'. They are personal ratings. The ppl that are selling accounts have a different opinion and thats why he put read trust on them. I have the opinion that Lauda is abusing the system so he maybe put red trust on me to. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) This has nothing to do with opinions, but with actions and consequences. I do not leave trust ratings based on their opinions (unless the user has demonstrated shady activity, is involved in something that is frowned upon, et al.). Im waiting for my red trust rating ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) No.

That is a good find Avi! This chain should be tagged immediately and all the related accounts should be listed!GotaPauj is a big time scammer,he started a bitcoinblackfriday scam ages ago. Handled. I will try to update the thread 1 more time before we set foot into the next year. -snip- Do I take it you agree with the other connections I made? Feel free to attempt to prove the dates in my post are not correct.
Your investigation is quite extensive, although also interesting. I'm not sure what to make out of it yet.

I would personally consider all of the questions in that survey flawed in one way or another. Let's analyze: 1. How old are you?
The answer is a text-box, but it should use age-ranges to provide a certain anonymity set. I'm certain that a fair amount of people do not want to reveal their age. 2. Do you have bitcoins or any other altcoins ? yes, no
Why would people who don't have any Bitcoins or altcoins use Bitcointalk in the first place? 3. How many Bitcoins or any other altcoins do you have?
Same problem as with the first question. e.g. ranges like: 'less than 1', 'more than 1', 'more than 10' et al. 4. Do you think Bitcoin will replace USD in the future ? yes, no why
This question is just pure (and random) speculation. 5. Do you think developers will be able to solve all Bitcoin bugs to be safe?
As with every software, bugs exist and bugs are fixable. 6. How much do you earn from Mining coins?
Ambiguous question? You don't even ask whether someone is mining in the first place. Most of the people that will likely answer this survey are not miners. 7. Why do you think only few websites accept Bitcoin as method of payment ,and do you think they will in the future?
Where exactly did I say that I think that? 8. In your opinion how do you think governments will react with Bitcoin ?
Governments are constantly reacting to Bitcoin in a unpredictable nature. You can easily find this information on Google.
I have not answered this survey.

Agreed completely. Come now, this is really getting old. Whether you are an alt of girlbtc, or someone hired by girlbtc, they broke the rules and are no longer welcome here. It would stand to reason that if they are paying you to post for them to plug the same stuff that got them banned in the first place, you will also be banned. -snip-
In case that someone attempts to troll either one of us for this (as in a previous thread), I've confirmed what we already knew with theymos: If a banned person hires someone to post something, then this is ban evasion -- the intermediary is acting as a tool of the banned person in order to post here.
Which is a very valid rational stance towards a problem like this. -snip- PROOF: the power abusing in bitcointalk.org
You deserve to be banned as well for posting yet another link. There is no power abuse. This is a privately owned forum, and as such you are either supposed to obey the rules or you will get 'removed' (as in banned).

This topic has been moved to Trashcan. Reason: Insubstantial introductory post.

So "sharing" means " copy-pasting content, blatantly ad-spamming " in your dictionary?
Dozens of girl-btc spam accounts have been nuked for doing this in one way or another. Also known as: ad-spam. I am from Republic of Korea , anything wrong with my nationality ?
I don't care about anyone's nationality.
|
|
|
The answer is most likely 'no'. Stop copy-pasting content, blatantly ad-spamming and ban evading. At this point it shouldn't matter whether girlbtc is doing this themselves or is using a proxy (e.g. you) to do it.
