9381  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: NeuroSurveillance - AI-Powered Face Detection for IP-Cameras on: December 23, 2018, 09:36:57 AM
Care to explain further the advantage of your software? I mean there's a lot of facial detection apps right now, what do you think is your main strengths against those competitors? How about the universal flaw on face detection software? I mean what if the user suddenly shifts his face 20 degrees? Can your software still capture and "accurately" detect the person? Best of luck though, it seems you have invested a lot of time developing the said apps.
9382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dillian Whyte vs. Dereck Chisora II on: December 23, 2018, 09:12:34 AM
I will also go with Whyte here. I think he has beaten AJ during their amateur days but when they fight professionally though, AJ smuck the hell out of Dillain but he has his moments with AJ, putting him in queer street for a brief moment until AJ regain control and put him down. I think Chisora is already past his prime and his only trying to fight not for pride but for that moolah, as they say.
9383  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: where can i buy bitcoin with credit card on: December 23, 2018, 08:50:24 AM
Coinmama, but I think you have to go to a full KYC before you purchase one. Paxful as well, but the fee is exorbitant and there's also CEX.io. However, please be reminded that they only accept Visa and not Mastercard, so you have to double check as well.
9384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CHINA HOLDS THE CARDS AS ONLINE BETTING BOOMS IN THE PHILIPPINES on: December 23, 2018, 08:29:09 AM
I could attest that online gaming is in a boom in the Philippines although I was quite surprised to find a lot of Chinese even in my neighbors walking around and someone tell's me that they are operating in a gambling in one of the hotels close to my place. So it makes sense of the sudden influx of lots of Chinese and I thought that those guys are working in a call center setup or something until I found out that they are on the gambling scene. I don't know, maybe in the next two years or so, you can call Philippines as one of China's province as well because they are all over the country, lol.
9385  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Bitfleep a scam on: December 22, 2018, 09:45:49 PM
Never heard of them. So if I where in your shoes, just be careful and not to blindly trust anything. Specially something just messaging you in your whatsapp. Just trade on exchanges that you can trust specially in the top 10 here: https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/. It's better to be cautious than fall for some scammy or fly by night exchanges around, just saying.
9386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Western Union shares video of their President saying "cryptocurrency may become on: December 22, 2018, 09:25:47 PM
Awesome. They are a big payment gateway in the world. I think this news will brings a leap and bound for cryptocurrency. I also believe that the market will recover soon.

Not just because the President of WU has a positive say on crypto will mean a leap and bound for the market. Remember Paypal former CEO also said that Bitcoin will be the future, but the price didn't spike despite bitcoin's competitor in the field of payment system. It's nice to hear that they acknowledge but we need something really positive that will turn the market conditions and make a 360 degree turn for the better and I'm sorry this is one news that won't really affect the price positively.
9387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: December 22, 2018, 09:02:15 PM
I doubt AD will reject the contract given to him but there is no point of him not getting traded neither, they can do a sign and trade.

The problem is that Lakers are not willing to send any of their young players right now, it happened when Kawhi was the discussion, they didn't give any of their young players for someone like Kawhi who is a superstar and a MVP candidate, they of course rejected giving any of their young players for Trevor Ariza which kinda makes sense.

If they want to get someone like AD they will have to give some of their young players no matter what, AD won't come for free they need to spend some money for it or at least assets. Hence I think Lakers should start looking at their young core and start considering how much they worth. With Lebron+AD+Kawhi they could easily get the ring without a question.

I dont think that will work or could work.
It is different with the super Miami before because Bosh could always give way and Wade have already experienced having a big man at his side which is Shaq.

But Lebron and Kawhi together with an AD? I doubt they can make some sense to them. It will also defy the balance of NBA which will make it boring only.

I would rather have Lebron + AD or Kawhi + AD rather than put them all in one team.
NBA is not Lakers only. They will be losing money if no one is watching the other teams.

Yes, I agree with your comments. A Lebron + Kawhi is not a good combination because they tend to play the same position so its going to be difficult to have them in the same team, imho. A Lebron + AD is a good option, however, Lakers will be losing some of its core including the young and developing players so it's going to be a hard decision for the management to let go of them just to catch AD or trade or free agency.
9388  Economy / Speculation / Re: Let's prepare for the worst on: December 22, 2018, 08:42:02 PM
Let's all be prepared ,the way I'm seeing things I think bitcoin hasn't find its bottom yet ,I'm guessing around 2500$ before we see better recovery ,always remember cryptocurrency is never for the weak ,be prepared and do what you do best ,things will surely turn around but good things never comes easily .

Definitely everyone should not just prepare for the worst but learn how to analyze and adjust your trading or investment strategy. We have seen a lot of people lost so much money but still they continue to pour their money thinking of a bull run which won't happen in the next coming months or years. As for the bottom price, maybe you are right, we haven't seen the last bottom and the price could easily go below $3K if there's another negative news coming our way. But so far it looks like the $3K resistance is strong so let's just hope for the best.
9389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The bulls on crypto market are back on: December 21, 2018, 04:25:42 PM
I wouldn't say that the bulls are already back in the market, but it's good to see that bitcoin and the rest of the crypto's are making a significant gains in the last 3 days or so. Bitcoin just broke $4K and Ethereum tops $100 so everything is going well.

However, I'm still not buying this bull run or whatever you want to call it, this might be a bear trap or a dead cat bounce. So we need to monitor if bitcoin could reach the next resistance of $4200 otherwise we will go $3K in the next days or so, so it's better to still be careful with our investments.
9390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: PUMP TIME? on: December 21, 2018, 04:04:10 PM
now is DECEMBER 20.

last 2 day was Green.
what you think? its time for invest?

Yes, this is still a great time to invest because the price is still cheap but its better if you have enter like a week ago. But as others have been preaching, there's no right time to buy as long as you know the risk involved. And maybe if this bull run continue then you're on-board already, but if this is the last capitulation before plunging then there's another opportunity to get a few coins here and there because they at a bargain. So best of luck!!!
9391  Economy / Speculation / Re: Final pump before full capitulation? on: December 21, 2018, 03:25:28 PM
I believe that this is a final pump before we touch $2,000 levels. Bitmain is buying a bunch of BCH in order to successfully file for IPO, due to their existing poor earnings report. Some kind of manipulation is occurring right now, and I believe it will not sustain.

Check out this article I wrote here

BTC BTC BTC

Yeah this is a possibility that what we have seeing in the last couple of day's spike hike maybe the last capitulation before going hard again before the end of the year so we need to be cautious. But I don't know if it has something to do with Bitmain though. Maybe that's just one part of the equation and this could also be the handy work of some whales swimming around the crypto sea.
9392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help a newbie on: December 20, 2018, 11:45:35 PM
How do you tell the bear is over...

No one can tell. But if you look closely at the predictions, people are still divided:
(a) we have reached the bottom already $3100-$3200
(b) this is a dead cat bounce, we still need to go to another capitulation of $1500-$2000

The past few days we've all seeing a gradual increase in the price of bitcoin and other alternative coins.. is this the buttom??

Are we all looking at a new bull run in progress??

I wouldn't say that this is the start of a bull run, maybe just a short term spike fuelled by big whales trying to set up those who FOMO from $3200-$4000. So you need to be very careful as well. I guess if we see the price goes to $5K-$6K then just maybe we can say that bull run has started but for now it might be a trap or a dead cat bounce.
9393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the right time to buy ETH. on: December 20, 2018, 11:15:56 PM
Knowing that we all suffer through this bearish trend and now we hope it's almost over it's the right time to buy ETH!
ether has a very low price at the moment because it is stable at $ 275- $ 300. That's around $ 800 3-4 months back and probably will recover soon.
Given that ATH, this should be a good price to buy a few ether because it will return some good profits.

I'm not really sure where you looking at because in the 10 months or so, Ethereum has fallen from its all-time-high of more than $1K to $90 a pop so that's about 90% drop. Obviously if you're looking at the long term, ETH is a good buy, just like any other coins in the top 10. We may have seen the bottom already of ETH so the next logical move is for the price to go up. But you need to have a lot mental toughness here, to say the least. And there's also a news that ETH will have its fork for next year, so it might also push the price to a significant level in 2019.
9394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: December 20, 2018, 10:54:20 PM
Nets beat the Lakers, that would have been a regular thing to say in the previous couple of years but when Lebron is there and you are getting a 20+ point performence out of your least efficient player Lonzo Ball it makes no sense to lose to them. They didn't used any proper bench players as well, they made their players go for 35+ minutes and even played Lebron for 41 minutes, which makes no sense at all.

This is a regular season game and I can understand losing to anyone even to suns but losing to nets while keeping your starters for that long and tiring them out is really insane. Lakers really really need to fix this and really just work on a "system" they can build around so they can be more like warriors who has great players but also amazing offensive scheme.

Sometimes stronger teams got beaten. I am not saying that Lakers is a strong team but they are still vulnerable specially if the other team really did a good job in their defense.

I agree, the ball is round and sometimes even the greatest of them has some off-nights or his team doesn't have that enough push to win the game or coach made a costly mistake, its part of the game. You can't compare team as well, Lakers has its own system and GSW efficiency and winning formula did built in one season, it take team a lot of trades and getting the right player in drafts to piece the puzzle together.
9395  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull Run or Dead Cat Bouncing ? on: December 20, 2018, 10:28:38 PM
I am not smart enough to know the difference between a bull run or a dead cat bouncing in these type of markets. I know what they are but I can't really tell them apart while I am in them, some time needs to pass before I can actually see what happened and call it what it is. However right now there is a trouble with how horrible people look at bitcoin and are really just resentful towards it because of the price which means whenever people feel like they can sell bitcoin, they will.

This means the price will take sometime before it can actually have a good bull run uninterrupted. This one "seems" like a dead cat bouncing to me not because of any technical details but because if you check bitcointalk and reddit people call its a fake out and this market is run by people so whatever they say eventually becomes reality.

In this case it isn't hard to tell. The next halving is way too far away for this to be a bull run starting, and there isn't any other reason for a bull run to start. So that leaves the other option you mentioned, a dead cat bounce.

Let's forget the block halving because is way too far (2020). If you look at the sudden spike, the mental barrier is $3800 but bitcoin just steamroll that price and easily broke $4K as well. I think there's a lot of FOMO right now but I would agree that this is too early to say that we are having a bull run mentality. I wouldn't say that this is a dead cat bounce as well. Maybe this is just the start of another side way patterns up to the Q1 of next year.
9396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [repeat] I AM HODLING on: December 20, 2018, 10:05:09 PM
Anyone who is not holding right now and selling off must be in deep loss. I know the reversal will be a surprise to a lot of people just like I discovered today how greatly ARB climbed from less than $2 to $11 in a space of 5days. Greater days are coming for bitcoin again. Keep holding.

Historical cycles will repeat itself for sure. I never invest the amount which i cant handle to lose it. Let the matket cycle repeat itself and everyone will know who was hodler Smiley  There are 2 type of market activity in trading: Buy and sell. Expecting the best with not selling is not definition of hodl..

What will repeat is the bulls/bears cycle but we can't predict when it's going happened. I guess there's nothing wrong with HODL strategy specially if you don't like to do short day trading. And we have seen how holders did make a lot of money at the end of 2017 so it's a win-win situation for them. The only drawback is you have to be mentally tough and should know when to book that profits to buy that "Lambo".
9397  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC $3700 Reflection of bull run? on: December 19, 2018, 06:18:27 PM
BTC has recovered from $3200 to $3700 in few days and shown recovery of $500 is it a reflection of bull run because it has a stronger base near $3200 level .

Just for the record, it even touches $3800 so that's a huge pump from $3200. But is this the start of a bull run? I don't think so, this maybe just a case of some big whales pumping before the holidays to get more investors to get in and then when no one is looking, another sell-off occurs. So just be cautious and not to get excited by the sudden spike. Again, this might just be a bull trap.
9398  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Suggest some good token. on: December 19, 2018, 05:53:35 PM
Please suggest me some good token.  Which hsve low possibility risk.

One thing I learned though from this forum is never ask for financial advises because no one here has the crystal ball to say which one is good. So its better to do your own research because everyone has different different opinions and will shill for the coins they are holding.
9399  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie chart analysis over past 1 Year (bitcoins) on: December 19, 2018, 05:33:50 PM
Looking at the chart for BTC over 1 year since it went nuts and was up to 20K

if you break the year down into 3-4 segments, whats happening?

Again, its because a lot of irrational investors came in December but all signs says that we have reach a the bubble already.

Is the september til november a "floor"?

More likely November - December.

Is from Jan 2018 until august "stabilizing"??

What do you think?

Did you mean 2019 though?
Hard to say, maybe its going to be a period of accumulation leading to another bull run in 2020, but we really can't tell.
9400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 232: Jones vs Gustafsson 2 Prediction and Info Thread on: December 19, 2018, 05:11:26 PM
Isn't it Gustafsson will be coming from a long lay out as well? He last fought Teixeira May 2017 if I'm not mistaken so both of them will ring rust. But I would have to agree with the majority here, I'm not seeing a upset here. We all know that Jones is a freak and the better fighter between the two.
