Liverpool and Manchester City has been met before on 2019 in the same event Community Shield and at the normal time they were playing draw but through an penalty kick Manchester City is the winner of match and this time people are waiting their new striker whether Nunez and Haaland can scoring goals or not but regarding bets options in think both teams to score is good because according to their records Manchester City and Liverpool always be scoring goals each other everytime they met
This is the match that Manchester City and Liverpool fans have been waiting for, the Community Shield event this time will not only be the best for both teams, but this event will be a stage for players who have just been brought in by both teams in the transfer market to show their quality. Nunez and Haaland will be in the spotlight, both signed for high transfers, goals from these two players are eagerly awaited by the fans, and proving that they deserve to be valued at a high price.
Yes, besides this being a competition between two teams that are giants in the English League, this will also be a proving match for two new players from both teams, Haaland and Nunez. It's true as you said that will they prove that these two teams are not wrong to reward them with high marks. Watching these two leaders will be eagerly awaited.

I feel that we should not get too excited for Barcelona just yet, because they don’t have the funds necessary to register the new player’s they have signed, and unless they sell some player’s or all their new signings take massive pay cuts they can’t use these player’s. Lastly while Real Madrid is strong I expected them to further strengthen during this transfer window, but they haven’t made any big purchases and I wonder if it’ll harm them as the season progresses.
Yes I personally still don't expect much from Barcelona now, not their game but their ability to finance next season. Game-wise I have more faith in them, but financially I still have doubts. Because I think the finances in one team will greatly affect the team's journey. Like it or not, it will always be a crucial factor.

If Ronaldo didn't feature in next season champions league, it means that he might still be playing and Messi break his champions league record. This is not something Ronaldo wants. I think he wants to retire in football and stay for decades before anyone will break the record of champions league highest goal scorer. According to analysis, if Ronaldo goes to champions league and score some couples of goals. It will be difficult for anyone to catch up with him. Someone analyzed this and it is correct. People following Ronaldo are not young and could retire anytime after or before Ronaldo.  People in that list still active are Messi, Lewandowski, Benzema etc and they are all in champions league. I think Ronaldo deserves champions league.

I agree with you, some people said that he put his personal achievement first rather than club achievement and they said it's bad, but for me it's understandable and Ronaldo has every right to pursue that. Imagine if Ronaldo wasn't contribute as much as he did last season for Man Utd, I believe Man Utd will just throw him away, and vice-versa if Ronaldo think that Man Utd is choking his career then he has the right to just go away from Man Utd.
Yes, actually Cristiano Ronaldo's personal achievement is directly proportional to what he gives to the team, it's actually good to be able to lift the team's performance. I see both of them benefit from each other. But not a few who only see from the side of Ronaldo's selfishness, without them comparing it to the positive side. I think that's an unfair assessment.

We shouldn't take friendly games too seriously. Because we don't see the real strength of teams in games like these. It was still nice to watch an unofficial El Clasico of course.  Grin  I'm looking forward to watching Real Madrid and Barcelona especially in this season. I hope to see a big competition between these teams for the league championship. Barcelona have improved their game and squad both a lot. They should be able to challenge hard for being the champions.

I think, many people used friendly match to determine how the team will go far in the tournament because every coach will like to demonstrate how good he or she has prepared to face any team. Based on some new talented squads Barcelona coach has brought into the team, showed that they will definitely increase their performance in this season because all those new strikers know how to achieve goals from any competitions which they will likely to apply those strategies in this match to defeat Real Madrid 2-0. It will be difficult for Real Madrid to win Barcelona, because Barcelona defense and midfield are more stronger than Real Madrid.
Indeed Barcelona look to have improved significantly in their defense and midfield, but don't forget that Real Madrid have a proven midfield creator who has led them to success. Casemiro, Modric and Kroos are undisputed midfield generals. It is a weapon for Real Madrid, and up front there are Benzema and Vinicius ready to finish the attack. I think Real Madrid is still more effective than Barcelona for now.

Yes, the problems that befell Chelsea last season did affect the team, so their performance decreased slightly. Although many say "it shouldn't lower their performance" But we don't know for sure what happened to the team as a whole. Because what we know is what appears on the outside. It's very difficult for Chelsea to stay optimal in these circumstances.
What is certain is that Chelsea will continue to try to improve their performance at the beginning of next season even though what appears from the outside is a decline in performance because it is triggered by problems that existed last season. But overall Chelsea are still trying to make his team's performance improve next season.
Actually they are not yet fully stable, because they still need time to be able to restore something that was lost after the problems they faced. At least now it's much better than last season, and now they're starting to come back with something new. After all they are one of the big teams that are expected to give their best performance.

Juventus' friendly against Barcelona was amusing to watch. Barcelona was the better side actually but it still ended in a 2-2 draw. We watched a nice duel between Dembele and Kean when it comes to scoring.

The game was good despite Barcelona not winning as I predicted yet they once again proved that they are set for the new season with their outstanding performance and dominance against Juventus. For the performance of Kean and Dembele in the game, I believe they will have a very good start this season because their dribbles and finishing touches are superb and the goals are world-class goals. I believe the 2:2 draw can not be used to rate the team strength because it was a friendly game but we look forward to seeing those good display this new season.

Indeed, friendly matches are not always just a matter of winning or losing. But it seems that many have evolved and made it to win, including myself sometimes like that. I personally saw this match how they played, their readiness to navigate next season. Regardless of losing or winning, they have presented an interesting football to watch.

Kasper Schmeichel has agreed to join Nice and his move is subject to Leicester finding a replacement of the goalkeeper. Schmeichel is on his last year of contract, so the move isnt as unexpected as it might seem on the surface. He's a club legend at Leicester and has spoken earlier that he'd like to play in the Champions League again before he retires. Well, Nice ain't the club for that but I guess he's settle for now.

I'd say it's a good decision for both. Kasper Schmeichel was Leicester's main goalkeeper. He performed in 37 matches in the Premier League last season as well. He is quite an experienced goalkeeper. Nice will surely benefit if they get such an experienced goalkeeper. Also because Kasper Schmeichel is about 36 years old. So at the moment, it is better to look for a new team instead of being in the Premier League. Maybe another 2/3 years he can play well with Nice.
True, he can still show his ability under the bar a few more seasons. There are still many opportunities for him to be able to take Nice to a better ladder. Anyway I agree if he makes a deal and tries a new challenge here. His experience in the Premier League will be very valuable here, because here I can say the pressure is less.

"Paul Pogba may return from his injury in 2023 and hence may miss the World Cup. Juventus' plan was for Pogba to undergo surgery in Santa Monica however the recovery time is estimated to take longer than two months. He will see doctors in Turin and France before making a decision. "

Very unlucky for Pogba to potentially not play in the up and coming World Cup. He really likes to represent France but it might not be his year. Unlucky for Juve too and it looks like they are back to the same midfield of rabiot locatelli and mckennie.
There is always the unexpected in football, including injuries to players. Not only in matches, even during the training procession it will always happen.
It's quite disappointing that this just happened, as a result he was threatened not to be able to appear at the biggest football party. Hopefully Pogba can return to play and the recovery time can be faster than predicted.

real madrid friendlies:

Real madrid 0 - 1 barcelona

we lost once again to barcelona, honestly this is annoying

Real Madrid 2 - 2 Club America

once again we couldn't win, it seems to me that this season we won't win la liga, something tells me it will be a season of headaches

I think, this season will definitely change hands for other club to win the la Liga league title because this game showed that it will be difficult for real Madrid to perform well in this season.  Barcelona coach is fully prepared to lead the team to achieve victory from all the matches in any competitions to prove to their fans that they have what it takes to win this season title. It really showed that Barcelona midfielders and strikers are really doing well, because their workings really helped them to defeated real Madrid 0-1 to alert other teams that this season title belong to strong team like them.
Don't be too hasty in making speculations just because you've seen matches from pre-season. Yes, Real Madrid can't be optimal in pre-season matches. But don't forget they will be more scary in official matches. I think mentally they are for the official match. In fact, the more doubters, the more terrifying they will be.

But in my view the return of Messi is not about Messi's performance in matches, but only to complete the squad and hopefully can provide motivation and input to the young Barcelona squad itself. After all, before I heard about Xavi's statement that Messi should retire at Barcelona which means, Messi's return is not entirely to play for the full 90 minutes. We can see how the senior players in a club, they will not play for the full 90 minutes but to fill the situation and conditions when needed.
Indeed there will be a difference of opinion regarding Messi who is a legend for one team. But in my personal opinion regardless of where Messi retires he will be part of the Barcelona family. For now, it's better for Barcelona to think about the condition of the team and make improvements so that everything returns to stability than having to talk about Messi.

Bayern has officially get 17 years old player Mathys Tel from Rennes and seems Bayern attempts to created new Lewandowski because this player position is centre striker but he is very young and last season Mathys Tel hasn't get more minutes to play even his records is 8 play with no goals and Bayern get him 20 millions Euro in my opinion this striker is overpriced especially he has lack of experience playing at high level of competitions and i was wondering why Bayern buy this player because they need experience player on striker position
Maybe they believe in their potential, indeed it is too expensive for a player who has minimal contribution to the team but Bayern Munich decided to sign this player although it is still a question why they don't just take an experienced striker. Because if seen, they are very capable of bringing in another classy striker after losing Lewandowski.

As much as Arsenal are bringing in new players for next season, I still don’t feel hopeful ahead of next season because they’ve failed to address the key areas which needed reinforcement from the end last season disappointments. The defensive midfield is the key area where Arsenal should focus on if they’re to compete in the coming season. Thomas Partey’s injury towards the end of last season cost them the top 4 spot and since he injury prone, Arsenal should sign a similar type of midfielder, a press resistant one.
You're right, one of the reasons for Arsenal's decline is also because their midfield hasn't worked out well these past few seasons. The midfield is the key to the game to be more balanced in defense and attack. If they lose that position, it's likely that they won't be able to talk much in every game.

Barcelona always surprises even in the transfer market this season. Barcelona is rumored to be experiencing a financial crisis but in fact the players who are brought in are always those who have high prices with high quality as well. and many players from other clubs who want to get into barcelona. like jules kounde. even though chelsea has cast a high bid of 55 million pounds. but the sevilla and jules kounde have not provided clarity to chelsea. but now circulating that the sevilla have given a positive sign to barcelona. that is ready to accept the proposal of personal terms.
The diplomacy carried out by the management of Barca and Xavi to get great players who currently fill the Barca squad really deserves a thumbs up. chelsea (who are competing for kounde too) will definitely be very upset with barca for losing the competition for kounde.  barca must be able to get the trophy back (la league and even UCL) so that all the struggles they put in to earn money, pay off.
Yes indeed they have to get achievements that can pay for everything they do in this transfer market, if they don't get achievements, at least their performance changes significantly. If they are still the same as last season, then I can say they failed in this transfer market, despite the quality players they brought in for a lot of money.

Jose Mourinho is slowly giving positive results to AS Roma. Next season he is expected to be able to compete even more intensely to bring AS Roma to the top. It's a little difficult because we know that AS Roma so far have not been able to compete with other teams.
Dybala's arrival is also expected to have a positive effect on the player's performance, we know he is a talented player who has been brought in.

Ronaldo will be nice to be among the squad of Chelsea,  with what Chelsea has I don't think it is enough for them to complete other strong team. I am not surprised about Arsenal's performance since the training began. Arsenal have a better squad this time, and they will do better because they are much ready for every game.

In my opinion, Ronaldo would be better off leaving the English league. I don’t think he would do any better if he leaves and move over to Chelsea. Ronaldo is a great player, no doubt about that. Even as he gets older, he can still be counted on to deliver and score goals.
Arsenal was the better and more prepared team between the friendly with Chelsea. They have bolstered their squad with new and good players and they seem ready for the new season. They have improved their game and seem to be ready to claim the enviable top four spot in the premier league.
Even though it's only a friendly match, it looks like Arsenal are more prepared. This is the result of them making a lot of transfers which they don't normally do, but now they did and it took me a little bit by surprise. Because usually they only rely on young players who are their project, with a few additional players from the transfers made. But this season they are different in terms of transfers.
956  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 25, 2022, 08:27:00 AM

Almost every renowned team is trying to strengthen their squad. And they are spending money trying to add talented players to the squad. But Napoli is going the other way. They have no intention of taking new players into the team. If Napoli's target is the title, they will surely strengthen their squad and try to solve the weaknesses of the previous season. I don't think Napoli will be favorite for the Serie A title next season.
All the possibilities they can do in the remaining time of this transfer market. It's just that they need to work even harder because it won't be easy to negotiate with the players. Especially now that other teams are ready with the existing squad, so the chances of them selling players will be small. I don't know what Napoli are planning, but it seems they still believe in the existing squad.
957  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: July 25, 2022, 07:04:16 AM
According to rumours Firmino have got an offer from Juventus which is worth 19.5 million pounds. However Liverpool are indecisive about selling him or not. If they do so they might need to fill his place with a rotation player. There is Diogo Jota also who can play as a centre-forward but he is mainly a winger. He would be the only alternative for Nunez if they don't sign anyone. Liverpool have seemed positive about selling Firmino lately actually so they might agree upon a deal with Juventus.
Firmino has a good contribution to Liverpool. If he is sold it means Liverpool will lose two players, we know before there is Sadio Mane who has joined Bayern Munich first. Liverpool must consider before deciding whether they will sell Firmino. However, several times Firmino has given his sweet game to Liverpool.
958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: July 24, 2022, 02:13:01 PM
Barcelona came with all their good players, even had lewandowski which was a shock to me because the deal was done just days prior, assumed he would be just getting in. Whereas Madrid missed benzema, modric, kroos etc etc for majority of the game. Basically any game where you have over 8 subs is a friendly and shouldn't be taken seriously. We literally saw the whole teams flipped and thats why it didn't looked like it was a good one at all. I believe that it would take a long long time before we could ever see something serious to be accepted and that is why I believe we will probably not understand the league title from just one game. Last year Barcelona beat Madrid 4-0 as well, but we saw how teams ended the league.
But even if Real Madrid don't play as a full team, they can keep up with Barcelona playing with their squad, even with the players they have just made official. You're right we can't conclude in just one game, there's a lot of travel before they meet again in official matches. But once again I welcome their insistence in this match.
959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: July 24, 2022, 12:44:30 PM
If you end up being better than the opponent, you will still win the matches. Even because of a wrong decision by the referee. You see top teams make the difference in that, they don't need VAR to win matches. The World Cup is also getting closer and closer, after the summer holidays there are still a few matches for the Nations League in preparation and then we can start counting down.
I don't think the team that is better than the opponent is always the team that can win the game. Because many teams also win because their luck is great. Yes it can not be separated from the world of football, it will always be side by side. But strangely many also mock, they will say "win by luck". Though apart from luck there is a hard effort they do.
960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: July 24, 2022, 11:45:05 AM
I am happy with the result of this match even though it is thin. this is a prestigious match of the rivalry of the two clubs even in a friendly match.
I am happy that Lewandowski can play well in his new squad as well as Raphinha who scored a spectacular goal, this is a great start for Xavi Hernandez's squad and they can prove it again later in La Liga and the Champions League.

Statistically the whole game was dominated by Madrid but in terms of shots on target Barcelona were superior, maybe the match would be very interesting again if Benzema came into play in this friendly match.
It's not a friendly, it's an El Clasico. I'm personally happy to see the match between these two rivals going so fiercely and running very hotly, especially when there was an incident that started with Vinicius' foul. I hope this will be a new era of El Clasico, because it's been so long since I've seen a match between the two run full of intrigue.
