941  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🔥 BTC365.com 🔥 IPL Prediction Pool 2022 & Discussion(Participants Only) on: May 20, 2022, 09:13:54 PM
And tbh i'm more pissed at commentary. After every ball they are pitching for Chips, swiggy drive, Cred, Tata bla bla.
Agreed. Some of the advertisements themselves are related to commentaries which confuses me sometimes. Also, I hate it when advertisements pop-up when there is a single ball remaining(Recent KKR innings) which is crazy annoying.

Anyway boring part is gone and now we're in for juicy bites.
True. RR somehow surpassed Lucknow to end up in 2nd position due to which they get 2 chances while Lucknow got screwed. A final between GT and LSG would be epic.
I think if RCB qualifies there are good chances that final would be  between GT and LSG only but if DC wins and qualify, i feel there are more chances for DC to go through the finals because of thei recent form against all the teams but anyways there is a 75% probability that we are getting a new winner of IPL this time and even if it's RR it's after 14 long years so it's like a new one only. Thankfully no MI,CSK,KKR in the list.
942  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can some AltCoins pump during bear markets ? on: May 20, 2022, 09:08:29 PM
For those who lived during the past bear market ( 2018 /2019 ):

Can AltCoins go against the larger trend and actually pump nicely during a bear market ? I know there was a bit of a pump in 2019, so I don't know.. but right now I'm seeing Gods Unchained, Ox and a few other coins pump even if Bitcoin's Market dominance is still well over 42 %. Lets not also forget the market is still in a downtrend headed for lower lows at the moment. So would there be any point in trying to FOMO into altcoins pumping ?
I personally exited the market almost entirely, plan to re enter when Bitcoin hits 15K or even lower. Then again I've noticed some alts coming desperately close to the negative 98% mark... you have to wonder how much lower can they go
Yes they will, the whales have to make money out off somewhere atleast they will definitely pump some coins to earn quick money. But unlike the bull market these will be pretty hard to predict and enter into, in bull market no matter in which coin you put the money in eventually all of them are going to explode sooner or later however the same isn't true in bearish market so coin selection becomes highly critical.
943  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador will be the richest country in the world in 8 years? on: May 20, 2022, 08:57:18 PM
I saw this post and what do you think? Is it possible for him to become that rich in such a short time?

look at the post here https://boletimbitcoin.com/2022/05/19/com-o-bitcoin-el-salvador-sera-o-pais-mais-rico-do-mundo-em-8-anos/
Not at all, it is really fascinating to think about it but this thing is almost impossible is to be true. So far if you see you won't see a very big boom in the economy of El Salvador too i mean it has grown a bit but It hasn't really boomed like some Dubai or Hong Kong so yes it's pretty difficult to say that it'll become the richest country one day and that also just in next 8 years rest let's see how much attraction it gets when the bull market starts.
944  Economy / Economics / Re: Cooperative investing between small investors on: May 20, 2022, 06:07:55 PM
Cooperative investing between small investors is better then investing on your own

Let's say you have:

10 usd can you invest it in something to generate real profit ?   No
10000 usd can you invest it in something to generate real profit ? Depends on the margin of the business ,if you get 5% per year it's less then inflation so you lose money,if you get 20% per year good margin better then inflation

Now let's say i notice there is a demand for fertilizers ,and most people notice that also ... but i got only 500 usd to invest, another guy has 1500 usd ,another guy 10000 usd  and so on ...

How can we pool the money together to build a fertilizers plant ,if x is in country a ,y in country b and so on and best place for investment is in country c do to fact country c has gas ?

Is there a website / app that allows investors to pool money like that ? ( no stock market / to create new businesses i mean )
In the organized sector mutual funds are the only place where you can pool money in this way, otherwise all such mutual investment schemes have ended in scam only. Bitconnect was one such scheme however it ended in a great scam only. There have been many more such instances i feel unorganised market aren't really worth trusting for this as someone would eventually run away with the money.
945  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin-backed fiat loans are a rip-off on: May 20, 2022, 12:06:59 PM
Yes, it looks very good on paper: Keep your bitcoin and get fiat to buy a house for example. But...

- You lose complete ownership on your BTC. What prevents some companies with funny names ("YouHodler" - seriously! - ) and created only 2 years ago to escape with your BTC?
- the LTV (the amount of BTC you need to put as collateral) is usually 100% of the loan!
- AND you pay also interest rate on that: So the lender gets your bitcoins (that he can borrow to others) + the interest rate that you gave him!
- Not to mention that if the price of Bitcoin decreases, you have to increase the amount of BTC put as collateral.
Imagine taking a loan and each month the lender asks you for your month salary and alters your loan if he detected that your salary has decreased (even if you pay the interest rate correctly)!

Bitcoin-backed loans are really insane and they make no sense at all!
I guess that's because there is not enough competition on this market for the moment but I don't understand how someone with a sane mind can purchase this for a start.
This really is a bad deal, not only because Bitcoin's price can be volatile but also because you as a consumer is losing at everything in this. The only favourable condition for you is if the price of bitcoin increases and you are able to clear off the loan with just some part of your total holding of bitcoin other than that all the situations are really losing for a borrower, you are right these loans really a rip off.
946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🔥 BTC365.com 🔥 IPL Prediction Pool 2022 & Discussion(Participants Only) on: May 20, 2022, 02:34:06 AM
Holy cow!

What a roller coaster. After Nitish Rana, Iyer and Billings i thought it's a dead match but boy o boy!! Rinku Singh and Narine made ending very thrilling, although they lost the match but this match was amazing to watch just for fine power hitting from both sides.
Bet on KKR and I felt so disappointed after watching Rinku Singh almost single-handedly help them win the match in the final over. That one-handed catch by Lewis was insane and helped Lucknow seal the deal at the end.

140 from 70 balls by Kock was insane though. Looks like KKR are out of the playoffs race though they had very little hope to begin with.
Both team batted beautifully.

At start Lucknow build their inning carefully and then Proteas batter showed everyone that how Gaint De Kock he is.  Grin He bullied everyone with the bat, madlad.

Yeah, they are eliminated from the tourny, it was their last match and they have only 12 points.
So PBKS have also been eliminated and RR have qualified successfully with this win of RCB today now the only mathematical complication left is between DC and RCB. If DC wins against MI then obviously DC will go ahead due to better net run rate and if DC loses then RCB stands a good chance of going ahead. But even not any one team which I can concretely say will win this year's IPL or even are favourites.everyone is losing matches against everyone.
947  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Did you live through the last bear market ? If so, what did you learn ? on: May 19, 2022, 06:15:38 PM
One very basic thing I learnt in the bear market is never sell your holdings in bear market in anticipation that you'll buy Lower, truth is nobody knows when the bear market will be overturned into bull market and everyone at that reversal will be anticipating price to fall even further. So only best Way is to hold onto your coins and wait for the next bull run don't see your portfolio. But yes if you need money desperately because you have to spend it somewhere then obviously this is an exception. But yes this learning is very important.
948  Local / India / Re: Increase crypto tax from 30% to 55% on: May 19, 2022, 06:10:46 PM
India's plan to levy a 30% tax on cryptocurrency trading is a welcome development for the country's digital asset exchanges.
Since the government announced the fee on the transfer of digital assets in its annual budget, India's largest crypto exchange has seen daily sign-ups on its platform surge nearly 30%. The other well-known exchange had a daily gain of 35%.
In the next two to three years, the government expects 100 million people in the country to begin investing in cryptocurrency.

With the levies outlined in the budget, investors are seeing a lot of clarity and certainty. Previously, individuals were on the fence about whether or not cryptos were permitted.

Are you really sure about the data point? I saw some people writing about fall in volumes due to this draconian tax of 30% being levied. Even though I agree with you on this point that people have now got some Clarity about the legality, still when the TDS law will kick in after 1st July, all these investors will really have a hard time protecting their funds from it. Because with every sale you will lose 1% of your overall capital.
949  Economy / Economics / Re: A decision to make on: May 19, 2022, 06:07:11 PM
Would you rather buy a house to live in or rent an apartment to invest in bitcoin  Since bitcoin is experiencing bear what decision will you take make use of the season or let it pass.
I'll anyday rent an apartment and invest in bitcoin, however the investment should be phased, it should be done in form of DCA, i am saying this because house is generally a pretty long term which means atleast 10+ years. And when you talk about bitcoin in next 10+ years it is definitely going to be bullish and much higher than what it is now, while the same thing can't really be said about your house real estate hasn't really seen that fancy growth in past few years.
950  Economy / Economics / Re: Where to invest everything looking bearish on: May 19, 2022, 05:09:33 PM
Btc is not moving Also other crypto down
So where to invest to get good profit ?
Is there actually coins wich follows the food prices ?
As food going up so u can earn profit from coins what follows the food prices also.
What about panncakeswap coins ?

The point is we need money but nowhere seems to be money moving fed better give us money forget about this inflation rate hikes...and start money printing again if usa cant print money we give rights to pump markets to other country if usa cant get the job done.

So lets nominate country who can pump markets and through the inflation to people who live in there
Any nomimations?

I don't think it works this way, Just printing an infinite amount of money doesn't necessarily mean that you will be able to pump the markets, markets are pretty unpredictable and the bearish scenario you are talking about can change it to the bullish scenario in a matter of days. Also if the market is bearish and you know prices would fall why don't you go for shorts trading? If your bread and butter is dependent upon markets then definitely you are not an investor but a trader so what's the problem with trading shorts on leverage? And moreover a basic finance is even if some other county prints money it won't be useful to pump US markets as they won't allow so much of Foreign inflow into their markets.
951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🔥 BTC365.com 🔥 IPL Prediction Pool 2022 & Discussion(Participants Only) on: May 15, 2022, 08:21:33 PM
So from what I understand now is that KKR and SRH are certainly disqualified because there are almost negligible chances that team with 14 points would qualify I somehow feel even at 16 points teams might have to fight for their NRR. Whosoever wins between DC and PBKS tomorrow will be eyeing for 16 points as well and RCB is already there eyeing 16 points. So I doubt team with 14 will go through. But if this happens RCb currently has the worst NRR among the rest of the teams so it has lowest chances amongst all to qualify.
952  Economy / Economics / Re: The truth about economy and crash on: May 15, 2022, 08:15:19 PM
Crash is just short time situation to give opportunity to big guys to buy cheap and then back all up.
The media and youtube is full of fear mongers..
That economic crash and food shortages and war and else non sense
I tell you what you all are doomed...tricked nothing happens once big guys have got their bags full of btc stocks and real estate ...then we will see even bigger and more massive bull runs and economic prosperity

This fear and rumpurs will last long until big guys got their bags full just in one year everybody will forget about all the bad news what so ever and media will spread also good news and you are still poor you been waiting instead of fixing your own life and money situation...u been in fear waiting for war and food shortages....

There will be no food shortages only thing u should worry about is that you got no money and ways to make money enough to feel compfortble in any time

Food shortages?? Cmon...i go to nice places like london dubai moscow new york manhattan monte carlo or other good place ...i flash bank card or binance debit card and i eat what ever i want ...there would be never food shortages when im in dubai luxury hotel lol...illl eat big meal for break feast

Just people fix ur own life and u good

So you been tricked again and again Smiley

This is really true, whatever you are saying is absolutely what happens, first the Big Bulls make sure that people in the market are fearful, they will bring all their capital at that time and try to buy it when the weak hands are selling off, similarly they will try to sell when the weak hands are greedy and are trying to buy everything that is possible, this cycle never really stops. And all the media persons and content creators are either really paid to do this stuff or they are just copying it from someone who is paid to do this stuff.
953  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Finland Officially announces its intention to join NATO on: May 15, 2022, 08:02:57 PM
“The president and the government’s foreign policy committee have agreed that after consulting parliament, Finland will apply for Nato membership,” president, Sauli Niinistö, told a press conference.
“Our decision is historic. The most important thing is the safety of Finland and our citizens. The decision strengthens security and cooperation between the Nordic countries,” Prime Minister Sanna Marin said. She also said that she expects the Finnish parliament to accept this decision.

Reminder:
The process of joining the US-led military bloc NATO requires the approval of the existing 30 member states. At the moment Erdogan says Turkey not supportive of Finland, Sweden joining NATO [Source: Reuters]

General source:
The Guardian
You can read this news on every major news website.
Politically this might effect Russia a lot as more and more European countries are moving towards NATO which means more enemies for Russia on any given day, but geographically both these countries aren't that big a threat, They are located in Nordic Region and Finland just share a small border with Russia. But yes Russia might try to surpress this movement in Finland too by planting some official indirectly to change the government.
954  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TA or FA which is a better choice for market speculation. on: May 15, 2022, 07:49:48 PM
When it comes to the crypto market, FA is not even a choice, atleast talking about the traditional fundamental analysis, the main discussion points are P/E multiples or EV/EBITDA multiples but the crypto market doesn't works on these principles at all, we barely go ahead and calculate earnings of any crypto company before we buy their cryptos, FA in crypto is more about which coin has the best utility and solves a problem in the long run, other than that all these coins are just shitcoins deriving their value from something or the other. So in Cryptos only best option which you have for market speculation is TA.
And why I use them both is because investing a coin/s that we know has utility and function in the market increase assurance that in the long run, it will move up. And it was also important to know which projects have the potential, not shitcoins. While the use of FA and TA will give us the desired results that we've wanted, not just because we made speculation as we also need profit assurance.
However, this be depending on where you become comfortable, some just choose TA alone but haven't looked at the big difference between having the two when it comes to market analysis.
I agree with you on potentials side but now my mind just doesn't agree with the concept of potential as well, just a few weeks back everyone was so positive on Luna and expected that it will definitely break all the highs and just one small error and you see it falling out of the ecosystem Altogether and all your savings getting duped. TA is somehow better because it comes with a protection of Stop loss which if you use you can save yourself from such a catastrophe.
955  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Emirates Airline will use 'Bitcoin as a Payment Service' on: May 15, 2022, 07:32:33 PM
No argument that this is best news you will hear for bitcoin as a payment method, even though I doubt how many people are actually going to use this feature still such a big company giving this option gives a great sense of positivity into the market, with bitcoin payment logo people all around the globe will start to feel much more confident on bitcoin as an asset as well as payment method both.
956  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can someone familiar with FTX help me explain this? on: May 14, 2022, 09:21:09 PM
Was it a leveraged trade? I think this is the funding fees that the exchange is charging from you for holding the position, or I think that you have accidentally borrowed some USDT for a trade clearly for which now you are being charged an interest, which obviously is quite exhorbitant. I think you should sell whatever position you are holding using this borrowed fund and return them as soon as possible otherwise the exchange will continue to charge a high interest from you on this.
957  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🔥 BTC365.com 🔥 IPL Prediction Pool 2022 & Discussion(Participants Only) on: May 14, 2022, 07:38:45 PM
KKR VS  SRH

I think the Kolkata team is the favorite in today's match. The main reason for this is that the teams batting first at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium are getting some extra advantage and the teams batting in the second inning, they are facing a lot of trouble to scores. Even in the last match on this ground, a team like Lucknow lost all the wickets by only 82 runs. If today's Kolkata can deliver a target of 170-180, then their chances of winning are 90%. I think so.
Well they are clearing proving your point right with this fruitful powerplay, even Ajinkya hitting a six although it would be very tactical decision if Ajinkya hitwicket or run out himself.  Grin Can't tolerate his batting much, also he seems to be struggling with his hamstring.

Well that's a nice way to play when you can't run.

-----------
Here comes my boy Malik!
Ajinkya is taking too much pressure to be honest, he is not even playing his real game which is the technique may be the hamstring you are talking about is the reason for that, but I am pretty sure he is going to have the same treatment as Pujara in the next IPL. If you see practically now both SRH & KKR pretty much out of the game, Both SRH & KKR are bad on NRR as well, so even if like 3-4 teams clash on 14 points it's difficult that these teams will go ahead. I am taking 16 points as a qualification mark so therefore only 5 teams have a probability to reach there, the second decider would be the match of PBKS and DC on Monday.
958  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who’s itching to buy? on: May 14, 2022, 05:08:12 PM
Hi guys. I'm newbie here. Wanted to hear your opinions.

These red candles got me wanting to itch my itch. I know about DCA. I think little more of a drop and we reverse. Just trying to not get too eager. I'm trying to catch this bitcoin bounce by setting two additional limit orders to open a long position on wowswap exchange.

What do you think about the current bear run, will it turn around? What price for bitcoin do you track? Will we get on the big green planes?

I'm thinking of buying a few more alts from the top 100. With everything being down in the last month they seem to be safer plays.

See many people have been comparing this to history of how around halfway mark before the next halving market creates sort of bearish aura and remains bearish for sometime for accumulation until it bursts for the next bull run after next halving, what I think is that if some information has become such news and can be this easily calculated and speculated that thing might not happen. So in this ambiguity best solution is only DCA you buy at every low and keep it holding until it bursts next time, talking about red candles it's really a good time to buy here anyways because RSI would obviously correct itself for sometime in coming days and you can then use that time to sell off and make around 10-12% profits.
959  Local / India / Re: 30% TAX and 1% TDS applicable dates on: May 14, 2022, 04:42:53 PM
~snip~
There is only one way to stop terror funding, which is pretty easy, I don't know why government is reluctant to follow that, give licenses to crypto exchanges and reduce the tax rate on crypto transactions done through exchanges, either put a big chunk of tax on transactions done without proper KYC exchanges or just illegalize them or keep mandatory reporting requirement, now hunt down people doing this business in cash, just how you track them down currently. This system would allow crypto business to prosper, at the same time allow investors to invest with lesser tax and at the same time would bring down problem of terror funding a lot. I don't know why are they keeping such exhorbitant taxes on transactions made through exchanges, as this is ultimately motivating people to do transactions offline.
Fair enough but counter argument would be, if it's that easy then why Crypto leaders in India are reluctant to submit any proposal? That's what finance ministry keep asking them.

IMO I don't think there are any simple solution. Even Current Terror Monitoring Group is mixed bag and recently got to know that funding also coming through in disguise of "Zakat".
The reason why they aren't bringing in a law is that it's India, there are already huge procedural delays in bringing any laws topped with that are regular elections, government obviously doesn't wants the backslash to effect their campaign.

Talking about terror funding it's a big separate issue in itself and more of a issue at global level, more than terror funding i am concerned with issues like red money and black money which could potentially increase with Cryptos but anyways not bringing a law isn't a solution as red money and black money are still roaming around without a proper law.
960  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why Russia isn't using it's full force in Ukraine ? tactically .. on: May 14, 2022, 04:37:59 PM
Why Russia isn't using it's full force in Ukraine ?

Why the russians are allowing the ukrainens to win ... they had Kiev in their hands and then they retreat ,it makes no sense, tactically it makes no sense ... as a general i would have bombed Kiev like Mariupol or worse ...

Russia has a lot of resources ...ammo never finishes for russians ...you had Kiev in your hands why would you give it back ? ...no sense ...

https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2022/3/2/why-hasnt-russia-mobilised-its-vast-air-power-against-ukraine
I think Russia doesn't wants devastation, they know war has already given them a bad name, they just want to pressurise Ukraine as much as possible create this into a sort of seige and keep this holding until Ukraine decides to surrender the regions peacefully to Russia. Nukes are obviously out of picture so I am not considering that in the force that Russia has. Russia wants to play this war not only in the battlefield but also in the arena of democracy.
