I agree with you on this, paying in ethereum will further help the ico from dumping very hard, as the value of the token will be protected from bounty dumpers, once being paid in ethereum directly, one can use the Eth to buy another coin or sell instantly rather than converting the ico token to Eth then to sell or trade

I don't really think that this is a year of altcoin,
Specially ICO's we could see that there are so many ICO that have failed or didn't even make it up to their ICO price this year.
You are right though, this year is not really the year for altcoins, but let's not rule it out for this year, the bull started around September last year till January, so there's still enough time |

I'm really disappointed with myself now because of Verge. Way back June 2017, I bought $200 worth of XVG and I sold it last week a day before the pump happened. It could be worth more than $5k now if I just HODL.  Well, I need to move on and learn from this mistakes. This will be a lesson for me to have patience and wait for the right time to sell my coins. The reason why I sold it was because I need more funds to buy another coin. I'm happy with the coin I bought because I can now see that it is now starting to pump. Maybe, I'm just half disappointed every time I'm seeing the current value of Verge. I bought some XVG again and will surely hold it this time.  I hope that this experience of mine can be a good example for everyone especially the newbies in this community. I'm very sure that by now you will be more happier buying xvg then at a cheaper rate, that's some of the power of holding, it pays to hold a solid project coin for a long time, the return will be enormous |

I don't think it can be up to 3 years to reach the top, back then crypto wasn't that known to the world that's why it took up to 3 years to reach the top, currently there are large number of people in crypto, , I believe by this time next year we will surpass the all time high of the previous total market cap

I am always selective in participating in an ico because there are a lot of scam ico out there so before I invest in any ico I make sure that I do the necessary research and to be more selective so as to avoid being scammed

In my opinion this is the best time to buy ethereum, it's in its all time low for this year price, I believe it's gonna bounce back soon, if you have lots of tether you can fill up your bags with more ethereum, this might rival bitcoin in near future

That's a quite little sum of money, I will advise you to go into coins that have strong fundamental and coins that you can accumulate more units such as ripple, if you intend buying ethereum you will have just 2 unit at current price

One of the coin I will watch out for that will give x10 is pundi X, this project to me is still an undervalue gem, that it's yet to launch it's potential to the fullest, they have great team and working product, I believe this project is gonna do x10 or more

In my opinion, buying coins is more lucrative than doing bounty for a specific ico, if you have a good amount of Ethereum, you can buy as many as possible of such coin you want, but doing bounty for such ico will only get a limited amount of the coin, whereby it might not worth much depending on the campaign you participated in

Currently at this bearish season I don't think holding pays, holding is more profitable during the bull season, because it's kinda disheartening seeing portfolio keep going down, it's better off to sell off like Charlie Lee during bull season and buy back during bearish season, so holding is a valid way of making profit during bull season

I see no reason why you have to quit now considering the fact that you have come this way far, just keep holding, the bear market will soon be over, never give up, keep holding your position strong and stronger, we all gonna smile at last
