Peter Todd Joins Viacoin Development Team as Chief Scientist
Bitcoin Core developer and current Coinkite advisor Peter Todd has been hired by the viacoin development team to work on a bitcoin 2.0 technology concept.
Nice, now I have some faith this project may deliver.
Just listened to Peter Todd talk about his plans for VIAs new Tree Chain paradigm. This is huge! A true game changer. This news hasn't had a chance to sink in yet and people haven't wrapped their heads around it yet... BIG things ahead for this coin. The term 2.0 is being thrown around kinda loosely these days, but in this case it truly applies. Congrats to VIA!
I also gave it a listen. Really interesting stuff. I hope they would have discussed treechains more, I didn't get good enough understanding of it from the interview but it's really nice to have Peter Todd onboard for ViaCoin.
this interruption is service has shown the investing communiity about the dedication and seriousness of the devs - they didn't just take their money and run.
Yea, I have one rig @ 1.4MH and nothing has been found. Difficulty is way up. How would everyone feel about a proper relaunch? Going to put up a new poll. Either way people are going to be angry so I will leave it up to a vote.
I would have never imagined a coin launch to be so difficult but we are a dedicated bunch and will press on. Looking forward to your responses. Again, sorry for wasting everyone's time. People who have been reimbursed will get new funds as well as bounties.
Im missing dividend payments from 1st of july and from yesterday (3rd of july). I'm letting wallet stake multiple times a day so no problem there. Can dev look into this please. BTC address 114w1BygNbjzck22R6tKidSJ4H1roxTkMn
Multipool is really nice an easy to use. Well done I would just hope that people would use it more. I think I am the only miner on Scrypt and other algos have low hashrates also. We have a nice bonus for multipool so let's get mining!
Multipool would benefit from x13 and x15 algos. X13 seems to be already in place but is not active yet. Can dev give a progress report to us on multipool development and how other projects are going along?
Doesn't have to be a long post just a small update of what's going on
