hmm .. not sure what to make of the update. Yes, the Multipoo shits are responsible for high volatility but also with their 50Ghs ... kept price high. If they don't hash ... great for us miners, but ... price?
DigiByte hardly prospered after the shield, went down 75% .. although it has picked up a bit.
Or it would mean coins to spread more evenly, less selling. Lets hope DOGE can break the tradition of price collapses when things get fixed and Multipoo doesn't exploit it. SMC & Karma didn't do too well.

I really liked this coin and thought it had a future  where is the dev...prices are horrible We all did ... some still do  I can't bring myself to sell at this price .. however, for small miners .. it remains a nicely profitable coin to mine and sell. Or just mine and stake, diff at 1.5 is about as low as it goes. Yeah it can drop to 1 and take 25% off the price, but still going to be profitable to mine and sell if not into gambling. |

Other than marketing, the coin was near perfect at launch, and with the quick release of coin control in the second version of the wallet, really did become the perfect coin. All it needs is utilization. Everything has worked as intended from the start, which can't be said about many of the other coins.
This is why I feel CASH is still not dead. After wasting days on various coins only to see them fork and break and get exploited, if only Dev didn't vanish and actually we managed some marketing, would be sitting pretty now amongst the sea of junk coins. |

I am not going to go all fanboi and defend the un-defendable. Tech is superb, why dev vanished or did such a half arsed job on the design .. no clue. Maybe a scam, maybe got run over by a bus. Lets hope its the latter.
I'm holding onto my stake and waiting, going to buy more if it goes down further. Shit I never thought would amount to anything, went up 1000% .. even broken shit, like Moon.

yes but every single one of those coins had upward movement while cash steadily went downward. blackcoin only got dumped halfway, thats no comparison to a 98 percent drop in value. ... If you were mining Black Coin after 300th block, you already lost, it was dumped 80% within 10 hours. I'm a Hash.so regular, coins they mine are about to get pumped and dumped and none more so than Zeit and BC. I do agree that after initial 1.1 update, there was action .. but it quickly tailed off. Looks like its one guy buying all coins and me .. CASH dev fuked off and didn't even code a blockchain but was brilliant enough to make a truly different coin. Go figure .. I am not telling anyone to buy .. as I always say .. Mine and Sell .. Mine and Sell .. let speculators worry about prices. For one thing you can rely on CASH, when price goes .. diff does too and gain per miner goes up .. so .. sell if you don't trust it. If only I followed my own advice, would not have lost a whole month of mining. |

the pump fontas is referring to was the illusion of a pump after my dump. cash isnt going anywhere fast. maybe im the bad guy for bearing bad news. but after all the people that got burned with this thing noones going to touch it. 100s and 1000s were bought in the .001btc region.. their investment is now worth 2 percent what it was. we mustnt allow this coin to continue scamming and we must cut our losses and move on. sorry again.
the dev didnt even have the courtesy to margin trade and reinvest in his own coin to keep the price up after he sold thousands for .001btc. im sorry guys.. we're screwed.
I agree but not on the scam part. Been paying close attention to things and can even tell you why DOGE is worth 60% less than 2 weeks ago, let alone why CASH is so cheap. How about Smart Coin 95% loss? Also could add, Black Coin initial dump (now recovering), Zeit, RUBY, Rabbit .. oh man what a dump Rabbit was, I sold at 2 and mostly 1 satoshi and now its worth 8x less .. and then you got Saturn, POT etc .. were worth 2 sat and 500 .. now 7-10 and POT 2500 (about to get dumped again). Karma burned a few at 6 & 7 buys just before cratering to 1 .. No coin is safe .. but also with high risk comes high reward .. paid 500- 600 for Black Coin and 10mins later it pumped to 1000 .. on the other hand, sold Saturn at 4 and jumped to 8, bought at 5, sold at 7 , jumped to 10 .. bugger .. or my personal favourite fuk up .. 10mil MINT paid 4, sold 6 & 7 .. well proud .. until next morning .. 15 .. then 40 .. CASH cost me 4 BTC, MINT lost me 4 BTC .. not bad for 1st month ..  |

It won't hurt to get a few skilled folks interested to donate a bit of their time. If nothing else, will be a challenge.  With so many scammy coins coming out on a nearly daily basis and just on a permanent sell spiral, it would be good to have a nice decent size coin for smaller miners who want to know what they are getting. Even with my 18Mhs, it really is not easy to jump around coins in time or abandon when diff is stuck high. Small timers beavering away on their home PCs are just getting ripped off most of the time. This is the target audience for CASH, while big boys and auto-pools can hop around at pleasure. Does seem odd for the dev just to vanish, even with a tiny bit more effort could have kept the price 20x higher and really cash out his coinage, so .. dump and run? Nahh .. or really needs to re-think his dumping strategy. PANDA .. now that was a pro dump |

It seems coinswim has stopped mining blocks as well. Hasn't found one in over an hour lol Mining is fine, just website does not update too well. Saying that, I have 16k coins there and did not payout. But I did get twice a payout 1st time. Most likely they were double counting. |

Things are happening behind the scenes to re-do the entire design. Also if that happens, an online casino and a hardware store will be open accepting CASH.
Not sure if a fork is needed, not clued up on that, but it just needs a few BTC buys and to bring hashing back towards 1Ghs. When re-design and marketing are done, it will be fairly easy to bring back interest.
Technology behind the coin is 2nd to none, CASH name can be a burden but also a boon, just needs interest.

to the people complaining that a bunch of chinese names are mining the coin...so what? even if some chinese guy made the coin, i don't care. it has potential.
I've seen absolutely nothing that leads me to believe there is anything "chinese" related to this aside from 1 person's accusation. It made me laugh. THE CHINESE ARE COMING O MY lol.. Been mining with 7Mhs since block 200 and have no issues what so ever, apart from CoinSwim possibly doubling up payouts, not that I'm complaining. |

Well, Cash does have one thing go for it; it never got pumped and dumped. Certainly not in any way like most new coins. Cashcoin is a good concept and worth keeping alive. I bought in a few thousand, and they're now sitting in my wallet, not on the exchange.
I actually work in retail, and I know a lot of retailers are clueless to cryptocurrency. What you need to get a coin moving like this is get a few web devs on board who would offer their servives to integrate Cashcoin payments into retailer websites.
True that, the demise of CASH price came after MineBig got DDOSed to death for days, lost 800Mhs and price just tanked, since it has been on a gradual slope down. Partly due to missing dev and partly due to all the coins with Kimoto Gravity Well being not interesting to Multipool.us and such. |

In that case I'd be happy to see a community takeover if the dev has moved on. Only because Cash didn't "go to do Moon" like all the pumpers and dumpers hoped does not mean it is a bad coin. There are a few of us willing to help. Not sure who has the funds, but someone has been keeping the price going. I keep 3.2Mhs on it all the time pretty much, between MineBig and Easy Mining. Trying to mine other things to sell, have to start thinking about payback to investors. Coin is the best .. but without a leader .. it will trundle along. Still a great coin for small miners and long term buying whales. Saying that, when we get our act together, it will be very easy to re-gain interest. |

Yes you can safely ignore it, we all have this message and no problem with the wallet. Had the same thing before v 1.1 wallet came out. Although this is 3rd week now .. Been topping up my reserve on a daily basis. Despite all the issues with this coin Dev side .. it is still holding up a lot better than most coins. I'm such a geek to be losing money on a piece of technology I love. Of all the coins I sell, only 2 coins I buy .. CASH ... and Doge, as it will double again, so I can buy more CASH. But hey .. gambling ... that's what we are here for |
