Has anyone else noticed the Depth for CashCoin on Cryptsy. Buy Depth has jumped up to 24000 at just under 2500S. Obviously someone has just got interested in buying up, that and yesterday someone bought just under 45,000 Cash. Obviously someone thinks now is a good time to 'Cash in'

I just noticed my portfolio got a serious hit on Cryptsy, it was all because of CASH falling like nuts. Now 68000 with almost no support down to 6300.
I guess the instaminers and preminers started dumping again.
I cant believe this P.O.S was trading at 50,000 (that's 50 THOUSAND with a T) Satoshi at one point. When I came here to invest and ask why its trading at a ridiculous amount of 23,000!!!! Satoshi at the time instead of like 50 Satoshi a few mocked me and said I dont understand Crypto. Well, they were wrong of course.
And while holding a TON of CASH I still ask, why the FK does this trade at such a ridiculously high price of 6000 Satoshi??? Thats 6 THOUSAND like each CASH is worth 30 times one DOGE?? WTF??
If you have to ask why a coin with block reward of average 25 cost more than a coin with block reward of 500k heheh then gtfo. This person has to be amongst the most stupid on here for asking this. Post your wallet address so i can test the fact you have HUGE amounts of cash. I bet you have about 0 CASH. This is my challenge to you ...if you have TONS of CASH and HAD tons of CASH when you posted your comment then you can post your wallet and we can test how much CASH you don't/didnt have. To add to this, CASH is probably the most undervalued coin currently on cryptsy. It's not a simple copy/pasta scrypt coin, it has POS and variable block reward. There's ~ 1,091,908 CASH generated since launch. At 7k satoshi it only gives us a market cap of 76BTC, or only $40k. This is ridiculous. When this coin has a proper block explorer, and is on coinmarketcap + an other exchange, expect at least a 10 fold increase, if not 100. CASH is now at 2,500 Id still say thats a crazy ridiculous 2 THOUSAND 5 HUNDRED Satoshis, for what?? I mean a single DOGE is only 124 Satoshis and thats a popular coin. TWO THOUSAND AND FIVE HUNDRED for a single CASHCOIN? WTF??Come back when you understand the basics of supply and demand. Thanks. Exactly, this person is either 100% full retard or just trying to crush CASH price down. How can you compare 25 coins per block average to 500,000 per block and say they should be valued regardless of the community the same price?? This person is obviously mad. Of course doge community is way larger. That is why doge is FAR more expensive proportionally. 25 is a bit smaller than 500k right? i'm sure this person is completely moronic. However the dev here is a total turd and has ruined what could have been a very nice coin. So it's value is obviously going to be less than with a functioning active dev. No point making a coin if you are just planning to dump and run. Personally i don't think they mined that much of it but still there was a 60MH farm on it from the start up until exchange. They obviously made a good bit on it. Still the coin is a nice design...needs a good dev to take it over i guess.

So, er, is there a dev here willing to fork? If so i'd be willing to try and help out, and buy as much cash as I can at these low prices...

Just noticed Brook, who's constantly 'dissed' and generally been negative about CASH all along is mining on MineBig. Don't know if it's someone else just using the name, but... heh! WIP Docs updated with new information about checkpoint updating.

Just want to say that I've been stalking this thread, and I assume there are many others actively monitoring its status also. After all, every coin is held by someone. This is one of the coins I've believed in since launch, but I think its popularity was harmed by the inability for miners to have quickly grabbed a large portion of coins at launch for a quick profit. That and it was launched around the time when people could get millions of other (pump'n'dump) coins for little work. Bigger numbers, you know.
I'm not sure how I can help get this coin back on track. I've stopped mining the last two days so I can mine others for dumping and start covering actual running costs of my systems, but will be back on cash shortly. I have purchased cash and sold none. Been mining nonstop since release and can afford a few thousand for bounties.
Other than marketing, the coin was near perfect at launch, and with the quick release of coin control in the second version of the wallet, really did become the perfect coin. All it needs is utilization. Everything has worked as intended from the start, which can't be said about many of the other coins.

This is why I feel CASH is still not dead. After wasting days on various coins only to see them fork and break and get exploited, if only Dev didn't vanish and actually we managed some marketing, would be sitting pretty now amongst the sea of junk coins.

Totally agree Maser. It's been so frustrating seeing these other junk / clone coins getting all the attention when a truly decent coin's been largely ignored by many but a few intelligent folk (I might be biased there). Was hoping you'd offer some coins to help, you've been a legend block finder this whole time. Seems we're starting to get a big enough group of folks willing to offer their time to allow us to get something going for this. Good news about the ability to run a second checkpoint in parallel, will be able to faze the existing one out over a bit of time and MAYBE will only need to include the new one in a conf update, which would be awesome. I'm going to PM the admin again, see about getting the permissions switched for this thread, otherwise we're going to have to start a new one, which would be a shame.

Not sure where Alt's post went, but I agree and see your point about the dev getting grief and bugging out. It's certainly another theory that's entirely possible. The list's getting quite long now On a completely separate note. Managed to get the rig running with 5 cards again (one card didn't like to run on one of the risers but was happy on another and the card I swapped with was happy on that riser... phew). The final card that's needed testing for a couple of weeks (always had the wrong cables, not enough power etc) finally got looked at. Won't mine for more than a couple of seconds before it dies and the rig freezes, but it seems happy enough to game and furmark. Reminds me of my old 8800GT. Was happy to run windows, play videos and similar, but run a DX game (or flash I THINK) and it would lock up. Electronics ? ! ? ! ? !

I really liked this coin and thought it had a future where is the dev...prices are horrible We all did ... some still do I can't bring myself to sell at this price .. however, for small miners .. it remains a nicely profitable coin to mine and sell. Or just mine and stake, diff at 1.5 is about as low as it goes. Yeah it can drop to 1 and take 25% off the price, but still going to be profitable to mine and sell if not into gambling.

I can probably help with domains/hosting in some way if it is needed, just send a PM if there is any interest.
Maybe we could get a forum for Cash up, for giveaways etc if dont have that already.

Is there a chance to bring it back to life? Is the dev gone for good, has anyone heard anything about him?

Not sure where the Dev is but someone just updated the checkpoint. If the Dev does not come back we are working on a community take over. Even if the Dev is gone this coin will continue to live. AT the moment difficulty is low as is the price, if you want to help back this coin now is a great time to jump in.

Probably the only good thing about the dire situation with altcoins at the moment is that some are so undervalued that you really are just better off investing in them. I have a couple of thousand cashcoins. For what they cost me, I might as well keep them. At least they'll earn interest.
Perhaps PoS coins will have the longest long term value, because even when miners stop mining them, the coin can continue on without them.
