so now everybody abandones scrypt-coins to make it even more easy for them to be attacked? Did you fall for the fud again? You think asics are a problem? I think they will be used to secure the networks. Everybody now abandoning the coins and nobody mines them anymore makes me facepalm, really. There is only one thing you can count on: sheep
sheep is enriching the guy who's selling you a shovel for 2 silver coins that will only dig back 1 silver coin after he's already mined 3 silver coins with it he makes 5, you lose 1. be that guy!

why did i only receive something around 12coins? Is that it? Can't be.

i didn't get airdrop-coins

this coin has huge inflation 2,2 million new coins a month for the next 3 years PLUS airdrop

Hello everybody. I noticed a particular drop in many of the scrypt-coins and i concluded it was because of the fear of the powerful scrypt-asics that would make those smaller coins insecure and vulnerable to hostile scypt-asic-miner-forks (at least that was what i was reading repetitively). Now i have one question: what about sha256-coins? Have they not been in that same situation long ago? Just imagine those powerful sha-miners out there. How were they doing? Forks? Not so much. Why?
I personally don't think the horrorscenarios will play out that dramatic. I think many of those new scrypt-miners will actually be used to secure those networks of scryptcoins. I don't think small scrypt-coins are doomed. Can someone explain to me again why the small scrypt-coins would be doomed? thx
Why would it be wrong to believe that the majority of miners would mine for profit and secure the networks instead of attacking them?

hello. One question: Can i wait for launch and claim my stake directly in nemcoin with less hassle (one-click-solution) later or do i have to claim the stake via those tokens? Is claiming tokens obligatory? Do i miss out on something if i don't claim tokens? (i want to hold nem for longterm, no need to trade them immediately for me) Do i understand right that claiming those tokens has the sole prurpose to enable trading before launch or did i miss something? Thanks for short answer.
In that case you should wait for the official launch because you can receive NEM earlier (probably on the launch day depending on the logistics). Token owners will receive their NEM two weeks after the official launch. ok, thanks.

Claiming tokens is optional. You won't miss anything if you don't claim tokens on the NXT AE. I doubt that claiming your stake the "traditional" way will be a one-click-solution. How do you suppose that would work ? thx I thought there would be a nem-software to download later that would work similar like a bitcoin-wallet? No? Of course there'll be a wallet but how does that claim your stake ? Anyone can use the wallet so you can't just include stakes in wallets. so how will stakes be claimed after launch?

dump-attempts repetedly fail. I'd say we go sideways for a while creeping up slowly maybe a little drop here or there (10$ / 20$) and finally acceleration and big stampede then. Run up to at least 1000$ by mid-summer.

do we have a run on UNO going?
|
|
|
That was fun. Almost all my sell oders on Mintpal got hit, and all my low re-buy orders too. Its like I got 50 free UNO without doing anything. Nice.
Almost looks like one of those crazy "GOGOGO" pumps again, don't you think?
edit: 17BTC is way above average for UNO. But volume on Mintpal is getting mega crazy the past weeks. So many coins with 100+ BTC volume, sometimes more than one with 1000+. I read that Mintpal has been the highest volume exchange wordwide today, beating even all the established Bitcoin exchanges like Bitstamp etc.
Crazy considering they opened in February and only trade altcoins.
good we are listed at mitpal. I think Wolong is going to come back to uno one day. Good to be in before he is. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

I wanted to give you guys an update on the Fork. With your permission, I would like to delay it for a while.
UNO is running well, and this is a precautionary enhancement (i/e uno is not in a crisis). Still, forking is a huge effort, a big deal, and it has to go 110% correct, and can't be taken lightly. I'd like to have more time to prepare, test and make sure that everything is going to work.
I'm not placing any blame for the delay, except on myself for pushing things along a little too fast. In my own business, we often have to delay software releases to get things right. We'll catch hell for being late, but its still much better to be late than to fail. I understand; this is your (our) money at stake.
Soopy has done a lot of work, but as you know he supports several coins. He's a shared dev. Another coin he is supporting at this moment undergoing a massive algo shift with huge changes; it needs a lot of close attention, and he is consumed with that right now. Rather than press him hard to deliver a new UNO wallet for you today, I would rather wait, have his full attention, make sure that testing is not rushed, get you guys involved in testing, and then when we're satisfied we'll aggressively roll it out together. Like you, I don't want to roll out anything that isn't 110% ready.
I hope you're OK with this delay (how long? At this moment I'm not 100% sure... best guess 2 weeks?).
I'm sorry for jumping the gun last week. It seemed a wallet was imminent and I started to ramp you all up a bit early. The work we've already done will put us that much farther ahead when we're ready to roll.
FK.
better have a proper and permanent solution than rushing and introducing more issues with the haste +1
