Merged mining +

I like merged mining too, doge and nmc are very strong coins.

Have there been plans to launch merged mining,
or are people suggesting features they would like to see?
942  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet.com - LIVE NBA BETTING | sportsbook and casino on: December 02, 2014, 09:55:21 AM

943  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gamblers: Please Martingale Carefully! on: December 01, 2014, 06:07:48 PM

If your base bet is 1 satoshi you would need about 150.000.000 bets to get to 1.2 btc

I think that should usually depend on what kind of martingale strategy you are using.
Some people martingale at 50%. Some also matingale at 10% or at 90%.
They just increase their base bets by different ratios.
Also, at 90% a martingale of 7-8 would get you at >1 BTC.

I dont see how you can use 90% at 1 satoshi bet, that means you would win like what 0.1 satoshi each win?
And anyways it would be the same at any ratio
Nope, the minimum bet incase you are betting at 90% would be 10 satoshi to win 1 satoshi.
And would follow, 10,100,1000,10000...
944  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gamblers: Please Martingale Carefully! on: December 01, 2014, 05:21:22 PM
is martingale worth it still though? like when do we should we stop using it?

Well, you could always have a bad streak in the early stage. But if you set yourself a goal and stop at that, then maybe you will end profitable. I have seen players start with a bankroll of 5 BTC,  and stopping at a profit of 2 BTC. Also, once you have a big profit, you could potentially end your streaks at a smaller amount, so you are still profitable, and you are over with your bad streaks. But again, it is always a gamble.
945  Economy / Gambling / Re: GAMBLING PROBLEM? - Refference topic for websites that offer help/support on: December 01, 2014, 12:24:21 PM
Looking for some good quotes on gambling threads to show the attitude of some of the casino owners of this forum, you can PM it if you don't wish to post them here.

I remember one a while ago about some guy complaining about his troubling state of mind when it comes to gambling and wishing the same disease upon the casino owner so they knew how he felt and the only response he was awarded with was "Sucks to be you" or something like that...

Anyone else remember this? if so can you tell me which casino/link to thread? other examples are welcomed!

I am not sure about how those casino responds to such accusations.
But some casinos like luckybit actually have a gamble responsibly link on their site, which is a nice thing to do.
946  Economy / Goods / Re: 15$ Anonymous Visa Cards USD | GBP | EUR | PLN + Prevent from blocking tutorial on: December 01, 2014, 12:19:40 PM
scam alert

This is provisional, Ill update this if  things change, but after a pm conversation which showed at least he does know what he is talking about, I paid for a test card, OP has gone silent on me since.

Another thing to note is that most of the people on this thread are newbies, and there is

no point buying one without an escrow, or atleast before receiving and testing one.
947  Economy / Services / Re: Bitstars.net Signature Campaign – up to 0.1 BTC and more per month on: December 01, 2014, 06:36:27 AM
I am out of this campaign as I am switching to other campaign. You have great campaign, keep up with good work. Good luck.
so it means one more open slot as user amacar also left this campaign before end period
starting a new thread will a good idea
fresh enrollments and new users can join if there are open slots

user sherbyspark also let this campaign for this month
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=854072.msg9699949#msg9699949

Thanks for pointing that out, whatever way you meant. I informed bitstars and monbux by PM, and I changed my signature after 12 AM.
948  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB Webmoney(WMZ) with BTC at discount - Still Looking on: November 30, 2014, 10:04:03 PM
Sorry that I misread the post above. I am still looking for WMZ at a discounted price. Unfortunately IceTurk, the user I traded with turned out to be a scammer, So I am still left looking for WMZ. Please send a message, if you would have something to offer.
Thanks!
949  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammed by User IceTurk for 12.5$ - not much but always a good lesson on: November 28, 2014, 05:08:00 PM
%90 of Turkish people are working one month just for 350$.

so he must have thought, 12.5$ is nice Cheesy:D

"some is rich, and some is poor
that's the way the world is"

Just because he has Turk in his name doesn't mean he's turkish :p
Just realized where he picked that from Smiley
Also, I don't think that is the reason. I tracked his IP and posted it above. Its an IP based in UK. He has also requested to buy amazon UK gift cards before, which confirms that.
Regarding, the fact that people earning less, are more like to scam. Thats not at all true Smiley A lot of countries have people earning much less than that, and they don't go to the internet to scam people because life isn't fair for them.
950  Economy / Services / Re: [CLOSED] Cryptomine.io - Signature Campaign with a twist - Well worth your time on: November 28, 2014, 07:33:11 AM
I have never seen Carra as an escrow. So, I can understand the distrust.

But, that means I can never be an escrow too. Sad
The field is already dominated by the existing escrows. No new entrants preferred. Sad

New entrants are definitely fine Smiley But no one gives a new entrant 7 BTC to hold, without him being an established escrow.
Anyways, I am done posting here, I am not part of it, so I am going to stay out.
951  Economy / Services / Re: [CLOSED] Cryptomine.io - Signature Campaign with a twist - Well worth your time on: November 28, 2014, 07:01:04 AM

Even though that is how some of us operate, it need not be so.

OP does not operate the site. So, there is no issue.
The site operator is different from the escrow. That is all that matters. Signature manager is just an additional job given tot the latter. (ie. escrow.)

That is something nobody knows. I gave an example of one-dice on the other thread. The account which launched it, was bought and had positive trust, but no one was aware at first, until some of the members who knew the original account owner mentioned about it.The account had been sold and was bought by the guy who started one-dice through that account. It could very well be a similar case in this situation. Even if Carra's account maynot be bought, he might very well be the guy the launching the site. He might also have nothing to do with the site, but simply an honest guy, but its a signature campaign holding around 7 BTC. Escrows are people used who are trusted. People currently don't trust Carra, which is why they are requesting a new escrow.
952  Economy / Services / Re: [CLOSED] Cryptomine.io - Signature Campaign with a twist - Well worth your time on: November 28, 2014, 02:26:44 AM

However I just read this and all of you should request another escrow[/b]. Carra23 is simply a Hero member, with no past trust. A Hero account can be bought for less than a bitcoin, and thats what Cryptomine could be doing. The end blame will be put on Carra, and the cloudmining site will get away.

Yes..very good point.
I just don't understand, why they choose Carra23

There are so many member with green trust that able to handle the campaign
For me, This sound very fishy.

But time will tell if this campaign is legit or not

GOod luck for all and prepare for the worst  Grin
Well I have mentioned this in the other thread as well, there is definitely a risk here. The only way the risk can be minimized is to either payout weekly, or to let another trusted escrow member to hold atleast half the funds of the campaign, so atleast half the payout is done.
953  Economy / Services / Re: Cryptomine.io - Signature Campaign with a twist - Well worth your time on: November 27, 2014, 11:06:25 AM
I believe in giving a chance to the new guy. Smiley

Absolutely nothing against the established escrow-handling members, but there must also be opportunities for new people to become trusted. And Carra23 looked like just the right person for the job.
I don't have nothing against you or Carra, but it looks fishy to give 7 BTC just to try out a new guy. You should change the payment to weekly, so people don't doubt you.

Well, you are definitely right. But I like the idea with 50+50 posts per month and I think it would be too much work to make this weekly. Again, it won't be my direct concern, but just saying...  In case people feel uneasy about this, redsnow can hold the funds.

Yes, weekly payment or redsnow escrow would be a great idea.

I second that, Its much more safer this way. A lot of signatures in the past, ended up not paying.

I already have the funds, and got the signatures now too. I am going to start a new thread now. If we do not receive enough interest due to lack of trust in me, I will contact an established escrow and send over the funds.

Thanks for understanding. I am not part of the campaign, but still wanted to make others aware of it. Recently, a dice site used a trusted account to launch the site: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=809026.0
And it later turned out, that the account was purchased. It can very well be possible, if a new escrow is used. If the pay was weekly, it would still be fine to risk it, but since its monthly, there is always a risk .

I am looking for webmoney as well. Need 15 WMZ, will be 12.5$ for it. I have someone else offering too, and will take that as well by the end of the month Smiley

so u mean u give me 12.5 and i will give u 15 , sorry if that's the case Sad
When it comes to currency exchange, you should not be expecting one for one rate, i mean 12.5 for your 15 is a fair deal, otherwise you might fall into wrong hands.

He has all the right to refuse the rates(which he did) , I just posted my offer.
956  Economy / Services / Re: Cryptomine.io - Signature Campaign with a twist - Well worth your time on: November 27, 2014, 10:11:29 AM
Op why are you using a non-trusted member for the escrow? He is a Hero member, good, but  he has never handles escrows before, has he?

959  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammed by User IceTurk for 12.5$ - not much but always a good lesson on: November 25, 2014, 07:04:57 PM
Wow, he must be a peasant in real life to hijack someone for $12.50.
Cold world...isn't it?
Well, I never understand what kind of mentality these people have.
Also just to point out: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=394683  is definitely an alt of IceTurk (has the same btc address on his profile as the one IceTurk requested payment on)
So is this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=395418 newbie, giving positive trust to IceTurk on a 4 btc deal. Both are online at similar time zones.

The reason I mentioned his IP, is to get a Mod to ban all accounts on that IP. Its because, its easy to create multiple sleeper accounts and using them 3-4 months down the line in scamming when they are of a higher membership status.
960  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB Webmoney(WMZ) with BTC at discount on: November 25, 2014, 03:26:24 PM
I saw you got scammed ...

I can sell you 50$ WMZ  for the same amount in BTC.

Escrow is accepted (you pay the escrow fees)

Thank you

I just had 25$ left in my mobile wallet. I still have 12.5$ left in my wallet, which I could trade for. I am out of town, give me a week, and I will be back home will send you a message. Thanks Smiley
