The match was boring compared to a final match. Both teams wanted to play without risk. Actually, they are not wrong. They came here with great effort. They didn't want to waste all their hard work with a few simple mistakes.

In my opinion, the game was far from boring. Inter Milan came into this game with such vigor and intensity I never envisaged. I along with i think, a lot of other people had thought the game would be somewhat of a one sided game with Manchester City dominating the game and winning at the end. But while Manchester City still won in the end, it was no easy feat for them. They had to tightly defend from the increasingly aggressive Inter forward.

The game was interesting for me as both teams played really well and provided a good show. Manchester City really deserve this win. They’ve worked hard and deserve to be named champions. Pep in particular must be exhilarated for the win.

Man City  -  Inter
Just got it. Finally Man City can lead the match with a goal by Rodrigo

Although, I’m a bit relieved Manchester City has got a goal, the game is not yet over. And with the way Inter Milan have been playing especially during this second half, I fear they may break through City’s defenses and score a goal. Both teams have been playing with so much vigor.

Manchester City would need to add to their tally and score more goals but I doubt Inter Milan would be willing to concede another. A good opportunity by Foden to add to the tally but the chance was foiled by the goalie. He’s been playing well and I would say De Bruyne presence isn’t really missed.
943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: June 10, 2023, 08:22:53 PM
The fact is that most people underestimated Inter but from the way I understand the match,Inter is well prepared than expected. They were able to make Manchester city dance to their tune in the first half because the way Manchester is known for attacking,it is not so in this match.

A whole lot of people did underestimate Inter Milan. I must confess I did underestimate them a little cause I sure didn’t expect the game would go on goalless for this long. I had thought Manchester City would have scored a quick early goal in the first half and ride on that advantage to score more.
The game is getting more interesting as both sides are attacking more. Lukaku, being brought in for Inter. Can he be able to break through City defenses to score?
Pep is looking really tensed up as he watches on from the sidelines.

.
It's a shame because De Bruyne was injured early in the match. Even though he was one of the key players, especially as a mid-fielder. harm. However, it may not be too significant.

Yes, it’s sad to see De Bruyne leave early on in the game with Foden replacing him on the field. He’s definitely a key player, one that knows how to work the midfield up till the front. It’s 45 minutes already and 2 minutes have been added. Still there are no goals from either side. Inter Milan has been superb in defending so far as Manchester City has been dominating the game.
De Bruyne leaving the game may not have much of an impact as Manchester City is still capable of playing good football without him.
945  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: June 10, 2023, 07:32:19 PM
Okay, so I must admit; Inter Milan has been playing much more better than I had expected or perhaps, Manchester City isn’t playing as good as they normally do? Inter Milan has been playing really well and also trying hard to defend against City forward.
So far, Manchester City hasn’t managed to score a goal just yet. Haaland had a good opportunity in the 27th minute and the first major chance for Manchester City but was stopped by the goalie.

I did think Manchester City would have managed to score a goal but Inter isn’t having any of it. Good game for both sides. 0:0 for now.
I hope De Bruyne doesn’t have to leave the field cause of an injury.

On paper, Manchester City is undoubtedly the favorite in this match. And if we compare the recent performances, Manchester City will be ahead of Inter Milan. But we don't know how City will perform on the field. In the Europa League final we saw Roma lose against Sevilla because of Mancini's mistakes. If Manchester City make the same mistake, they are likely to lose. This is why Manchester City players have to play very carefully. Any mistake will increase their chances of defeat.

Comparing both teams in their recent performances, Manchester City would be considered the better of the two. And personally, I think they’ve got what it takes to win the game and I’m rooting for them to win. I see Peps squad  as a disciplined bunch that barely makes serious mistakes that might cost them a game.
While Man City’s statistics is looking impressive, it would be interesting to see how they would play against Inter Milan. The finals of the UEFA champions league would begin soon. I believe Manchester City is prepared to claim the title.
947  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: June 09, 2023, 03:03:56 PM

Kevin De Bruyne will make the most impact for Manchester City in the match between Manchester City and Inter Milan. The Belgian star can make the difference at any time in the final match. Erling Haaland is good at scoring goals but Kevin De Bruyne is equally good at scoring and creating goals, his short shots from outside the D box towards the goal post are a terror for opposition goalkeepers. Every time Inter Milan take corners and fouls, Inter Milan will put themselves in danger because corner kicks and free kicks will be taken by Kevin De Bruyne and his free kicks and corner kicks will hopefully not lead to good results for Inter Milan. Of course, Inter Milan will have to plan separately for Kevin De Bruyne.

Yeah, Kevin De Bruyne would be very instrumental(as usual) and would probably contribute a great deal to the success of Manchester City against Inter Milan. I like watching him on the field of play, giving accurate passes and dangerous through balls that leads to good attempts at scoring goals. If he's not creating a chance that would lead to a goal, he's scoring one himself. Inter Milan would definitely have to be weary of him and they probably know this. So I guess while trying to block Haaland from trying to score, they would have to try and stop De Bruyne from making any dangerous moves.

Haaland is a superb striker and finisher, no doubt and he should be tightly marked. But I think De Bruyne is the one they would to need to stop from making moves that would break through the midfield and into the opponents half, scoring goals in most cases.

As for holding, it seems like there is no risk, but there is still because the only enemy I see here is that if you are not a patient person, it is clear that you cannot be here. That's why, if you buy Bitcoin to hold for a long time, the money you use here should be the extra money you don't need.

Holding your bitcoins definitely has less risks than lending them out. People who want to and truly have the will to hold bitcoin will not be tempted to sell whenever they may need fiat for some reason. That’s cause the money used in buying and holding bitcoin won’t hurt their budget in the short or long run.
I would very much prefer to hold my coins than to lend them out. Obviously, lending them out might bring in little profits in the short run, the risks involved are slightly higher in my opinion so holding is preferable.
When buying bitcoin to hold irrespective of how long, do well to have an extra income aside your regular income so you won’t be tempted whenever any unexpected expenses pops up.

Keeping Haaland tight will not be enough to silence the Man City attack. Because Man City's forward players actually have almost even skills, that is, they can always endanger the opponent's defense. Even if Inter Milan focuses too much on Haaland, Inter Milan's fate could be the same as what happened to Real Madrid in the semi-finals.

If the Inter Milan defense keeps their focus mainly on Haaland, then I think they would be making a big mistake. They might focus mainly on Haaland and forget other players are equally as dangerous. Manchester City has capable midfielders that could also score goals. Haaland is instrumental in scoring goals as he finishes beautifully but i believe Manchester City could always do without him.
Gundogan and De Bruyne, as well as Grealish are players in my opinion to also watch out for that could cause some problems for Inter Milan.
950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: June 09, 2023, 09:57:18 AM
A stronger team is necessary given the competition in the Champions League and Premier League. Arsenal must concentrate on having a strong bench team in addition to strengthening their starting group. Key player injuries are a real possibility and without a reliable backup the team performance as a whole could suffer significantly. Therefore in order to properly handle the demands of both tournaments Arteta and the club management must place a high priority on squad depth.

I would say Arsenal is a strong team as it is and is still capable of fighting for the title of the EPL. I agree with you on the need to concentrate on having an equally strong squad as substitutes for the starting eleven.  Arsenal witnessed some setback when they had some key players injured and no one suitable enough to fill in the roles of the injured player. Without suitable replacements to fill in these roles when needed, the performance of the team would suffer setback as witnessed by Arsenal.
They would definitely need to make some drastic improvements as they’ve now qualified to be in the race for the title of the UCL. They would meet and play against other top clubs from other leagues.
951  Economy / Economics / Re: Money is never enough! on: June 09, 2023, 07:47:36 AM
there are those who are really greedy for money so they try to keep getting money even though they already have a lot, but there are also those who are really honest about working but the money keeps coming to them, there is even the term "people are glorified because of money and are despised because of money"
it's not wrong to make as much money as possible because indeed in this era all people in the world are driven by money (without money how do you eat and meet your and your family's needs every day) but don't be greedy for that because everyone has been given their own portion.

It's not wrong to make as much money as possible. The problem lies in what motivates you to keep working for the money. If an individual is greedy, then whatever amount he must have amassed would never be enough. Money has and will always be important cause obviously we need to have some money to live a decent life. It's the level of  importance people have attributed to money that we forget there are other things that would bring us happiness besides money.

What I do not get though, is why you think we shouldn't be greedy just cause "we have all been given our own potion". Sadly, in life, some have and would always have more portions than the other. And if you don't work hard, there won't be any portion for you to have.
952  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: June 09, 2023, 06:55:42 AM

The Premier League is now more competitive than ever. Newcastle's performances this season have surprised everyone. This team played well. And so if Chelsea is aiming to win the title then they need a stronger squad and definitely add more talented players to the squad. Coach Poch is quite experienced. But will he be able to stabilize the Chelsea team? Poch will not be successful. He was not successful with PSG. And so I'd say we shouldn't expect too much from Chelsea.

The EPL is getting more interesting as more clubs are gearing up and becoming more competitive. Newcastle did surprise me in their performance. They played well during the season and came in amongst the top four positions. They’re surely a team to watch out for next season as they’ve shown they’re not to be underestimated. I too think Brighton played pretty well last season and might play more better come next season.
I’m still not sure about Chelsea and can’t say much. Right now, I can only hope their situation gets better next season.

I think Inter Milan is going to try disabling Haaland for this match because they are aware of his powers and if they don't put Haaland under pressure one opportunity can be enough for him to change the game.

Yes, you’re right. Obviously, they would want to try and guard tightly Haaland who is known and good at suddenly opening up to receive passes/crosses and being able to finish off beautifully. Inter Milan knows he’s a danger man and would try to keep him closely marked at all times.
But I doubt that would make any difference in the game as Manchester City doesn’t depend wholly on the abilities of Haaland as there are other players who, when with the ball are equally dangerous and capable of scoring goals as well. Inter Milan do need to be prepared to face a tough competition.
954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: June 09, 2023, 02:47:52 AM
It's just that Arsenal also need to prepare more reliable players that they can use when a core player is injured or so they have more good options. because Arsenal will also fight in the Champions League in the coming season.

Arsenals coach Arteta definitely must have learnt a thing or two from the experience gotten last season and I think he would be more reliable to build a team that’s more consistent in their games for the next season.
I think the fact that when their top players were out of action due to injuries and the lot, they suffered some setback cause there wasn’t a reliable or capable replacement. He would need to work on that as well. After all, they’re now in the race for the champions league title next season.
955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: June 08, 2023, 06:42:03 PM
Exactly right, this is a big event and of course we really looking forward to this match. On paper, Manchester City should be able to beat Inter Milan, due to the fact that Manchester City never lost in UCL this season, starting from the group phase. Very different with Inter they have lost 2 times against Bayern Munich. Also Manchester City squad have a very impressive record this season in the UCL, I assume they can also get a win in that Final, but I think Inter can also scored in that game and my guess there will be a score in both. But anyway, good luck with your bet on score 2-0.

Obviously a whole lot of people would be looking forward to the UCL finals. I know I am.
Manchester City is looking really good to win and that's why on paper, they're favored to win. Look at their past record and you would know why most people would be inclined to bet on a Manchester City win. Having comfortably won Real Madrid to reach the finals, I knew there was no stopping them. And also with their recent EPL title win, their form is definitely still in shape.

While I predict a Manchester City win, I think we could see a goal from both sides during the game. Inter Milan knows the team they're up against and knows how strong they are. I believe they would try to hold down Haaland as the player is an obvious threat but Manchester City is that good that they wouldn't have to depend on a single player to score goals. Their midfielders, as well as their strikers are equally good at scoring goals.

What is your honest take on bitcoin lending? Too risky, won't try it? Too risky, will give it a try?

I would prefer to hold than to lend and that's my own opinion. Lending out your bitcoin is as risky as lending out fiat or other valuables. You would need some sort of assurance that you would be paid back else you would incur a lot of bad debt.
If you could withstand the risk involved in lending your bitcoins, then it could also be profitable in both the long and short run. You could lend out your bitcoins with a certain interest percentage and if all goes well(the lender pays back) you would make a small profit in the short run.
But if you incur bad debts after lending out your coins, then you would have probably wished to have held it.

958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever felt remorse after gambling? on: June 08, 2023, 01:54:33 PM

If a person gamble and at the end of the game he starts to feel remorse is that a good thing or should the person be on alert?

I don't see any reason on why someone would knowingly use some funds to gamble and then feel remorse later on. In most cases, remorse is felt when there is a loss after gambling and also when the funds used in gambling was originally budgeted for something important.

In lots of cases, people go out of their way to borrow funds believing in some sort of luck that they would make a profit and be able to pay back the loan. And when things doesn't go as thought out and there are losses, that's when you would then be thinking more clearly and remorse sets in.
959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: June 08, 2023, 08:39:58 AM

And with regard to Messi, I was shocked to hear the news because I had assumed he would return to Barcelona. However, it's not a bad thing, in fact, it's a good thing that he made his decision that way because it means Barcelona won't be depending on him to come, and they will win the Champions League next season.

I too had assumed he would make the move back to Barcelona. I may have even hoped for it and was a little disappointed. But upon further thought, i think Messi might not be able to lead the team like he did. He's obviously not as good as he used to be and that doesn't mean he's not still an amazing player.
It's a good thing Messi didn't return to Barcelona. If Messi returns to Barcelona, I think they would be bound to depend on him and he might not be able to deliver as he used to. I think It's about time Barcelona moves on.
960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 08, 2023, 08:14:33 AM

Why did Messi pick Inter Maimi over Barcelona. Why? American clubs is a place where players go to retire to end their career and be either a coach or a football pundit like Thierry Henry. The only player I know who moved there and moved out successfully to the Italian league is Ibrahimovic who just retired from football. America is not suitable for Messi , he is going to fad into oblivion. What more can I say than wish him the best in the future.

Well, he must have picked Inter Miami to move to over Barcelona for a reason. And it's purely his business. Perhaps he did go over there to retire or he may be weary of competitive football which he would surely engage in if he moves over to either Barcelona or Saudi Arabia and he may just want to continue to enjoy playing football without all the craze and completion attached to it and he he feels he can get that at Inter Maimi.

Even if he would obviously get paid much more elsewhere, he decided to go where he truly wants to go. I wish him all the best and even though he may not be in the spotlight like he used to, I doubt he would fade into oblivion.
