941  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-02-25] Women Are Getting Into Bitcoin, Thanks To A Crypto Gaming Company on: February 26, 2018, 03:50:29 PM
With females representing less than 4% of the crypto world, a Toronto, Canada based company has decided to help bridge the gap by hiring mostly females and providing free education and training about digital currency. Some of the females are college interns and high school students who are as young as 14.

The company Bitcoin Jackpot plans to heavily support crypto related sciences, specifically organizations that are developing improvements to the way the whole crypto ecosystem works including government lobbying and advocacy with a special emphasis on getting females involved in Bitcoin and Altcoins.

Read through the article.  Good that CryptoPriest the CEO has began with 5 females and educated them know and study on ICOs and have an arguement with themselves on ICOs and related stuffs. A good initiative. We do have women and female students being into this forum earning crypto currencies participating in campaigns,  ICO projects and etc.  This earning has supported them a lot and still it is. Thanks to the crypto founder.
942  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Why Banks are attacking Bitcoin ? on: February 26, 2018, 03:37:02 PM
Local fiat's value is crashed and banks business is ruined down due to crypto currencies especially Bitcoin. The reason every government is against or hesitating to accept bitcoin is bitcoin dominates local currencies. Crypto currencies being on top in the currency market truly affects the growth of banks.  People invest in crypto coins rather than fiat's,  thus ocal currencies value is thrown to the air and banks business is gone.
943  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Time to move from Electrum on: February 25, 2018, 09:43:50 PM
Though I am new to using Electurm wallet, I find it worth and secured. The review and feedback was welcoming to open up this wallet. But you can still suggest me. I hold some btc in it and had few transactions from my Electurm wallet. As I required a segwit address, I had to choose Electurm. So far no issues I could come up with and I should admit that I do not have experience with another wallets then Coinbase, Electrum, myEtherwallet and Blockchain.info
944  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Earnings on: February 25, 2018, 09:13:19 PM
I was seriously discussing on this with my friend who is with bounty campaign for more than 2 years. I have never concentrated on this, but yes now I realize the time I wasted. Though few ICOs do fail, we have ICOs serioudly working hard towards success and yes they succeed. My friend as I said earlier, has almost earned more than $25K in last two years. I might have figured less, but yes he has earned minimum I said.
945  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I'm going to buy some bitcoins on: February 24, 2018, 03:22:30 PM
I'll buy some coins, My idea Prices may increase in 2018...Want to know your opinion, I do not think there will be a loss..My previous purchase was something Their prices are much lower now

Now the price is recovering back.  More adaption takes place. South Korea seems to be turning back to support bitcoin and other crypto currencies saying what happened but earlier was just rumour. Experts say 2018 would be so supportive for crypto currencies.  So go ahead investing in bitcoin.  You will gain a good profit at the end of this year as you assumed.
946  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger nano S doesn't work read before you buy on: February 24, 2018, 06:13:12 AM
So you cant figure it out when tens of thousands of people can and all of a sudden its the companies problem?

What a useless post.

When tons of same product is sold out in one place, there would be certainly problems / damages with few products. Better get such unique featured products directly from the shops in hand. Though its time consuming, it at times satisfy us with the products we buy as we expected. Instruction are do given along with the kid to avoid uncertainty. Keep the tiny wallet safe.
947  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Which types of wallet better for bitcoin? on: February 24, 2018, 05:37:16 AM
Which types of wallet better for bitcoin? which wallet better for bitcoin secure

I find myEther, Electrum, Coinbase and Localbitcoin wallets are standard to use. Once you set up all required security options, you will much safer. We have paper wallets and hard device wallets like Trozor and Ledger Nano wallets. Every wallet has its own specification and features to safeguard your money. Its us our responsibilities to be more cautious.

Blockchain wallet as seems to be a good one. I am using blockchain and Coinbase wallets. Recently i opened an account with MyEtherwallets. MyEtherWallet is designed to accept ERC-20 token. This is really a good feature. Segwit address are bound to be taking less transaction fees with high transaction speed. This is the reason Electrum was downloaded.
948  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: my ether wallet can be hacked??/ on: February 24, 2018, 04:46:01 AM
Recently few days i am worried about cybar attack dec 25 i was lost my valuable token. Now i am confused and ask a question in my mind mew can be hack? please give me any suggestion i am afraid now.

Every wallet can be hacked but mostly because the owner doesn't care about their wallet. They never fix their attitude about how to protect their wallet. Such as, they click link into MEW with out check the address correctly, use another device or network to open their wallet, last one is their data really stolen from their pc/ laptop. This is modern technology and everything could happen just do what is necessary to protect your wallet. Good luck with you.

Because we're now in the era in everything is possible and hackers always think ahead of us. So the least we can do here is being cautious in everything we do and don't use private keys instead use metamask for logging in MEW. We're all responsible and be mindful in everything.
It is ignorance and carelessness that usually end up making people fall a victim. Ways to protect oneself has been talked about so many times on this forum as well as over the internet and all it takes is a little bit of Google search to keep oneself up to date, but most people are not always keen to research and then they end up falling for the same things that have been said for people to watch out for and be careful.

Metamask is really a good option for those who may not have the funds to purchase a good cold storage, at least that way, even MEW can be connected without having to login with private key.

Yah, just follow the secure option given by the wallets. Just follow them option provided and activate in your mobile and desktop as per instruction given. Main thing to look at when ever you log into the wallet URL, make sure you log into the correct url. I have an experience in loosing bitcoin when logging into a fake URL. Try book marking the wallet URL. Follow myetherwallet's instruction. Your money will be very safe.
949  Economy / Marketplace / Re: market now on: February 22, 2018, 04:49:54 PM
fluctuating will always be happened in crytocurrencies and i didn't see any steady movement for the price because usually after bitcoin and altcoins rise up then following that there will be corrections price happened which makes the price dropped and i think there is no worried about that and buy back seems good options for now

Fluctuation is nature of cryptocurrencies. This is how its aimed to be and designed. As it totally depends on strength of investments, it deviates every day in percentage. When whale investors invest in coins, the rate pumps up. If we have less investors, the value drops. Its like a share value, when the demand and investors move on to one share, the share value increases. This is how. So lets focus on making the coin value go up.
950  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoins' pullback is over! on: February 21, 2018, 07:03:29 AM
After the craziest and the most desirous wave that took place when the value went above $20k, we experienced the most awaited and whacking collapse watching it drowning under $7k. It was worst, but had a hope that nothing could go nuts and that we'll see those days when it'll start gaining back once again after fighting the denials of Governments. I believe now is the time. It has gained back more than 50% in a few days and I'm hearing that it'll be more than $25k till mid July.
I think it's the best time to invest in Bitcoins (if you see it as a safe-haven asset and are interested in much better gains than keeping your money in banks). I won't ask you to put too much, but for an average person - I believe that $500 shouldn't be a big deal to invest as the risk-to-reward ratio here will be much higher compared to other assets available.

Not yet dude. It's slowly recovering. See today's growth is bit sad watching.  Almost $1k dip is seen. As you said yes experts predict bitcoin reach $30K minimum by end of this year. The market is unpredictable. Last 10 days growth were healthy and steady,  but today an unexpected dump to loose $1000K. It should pull back as you said.
951  Economy / Economics / Re: It's Not Over Yet on: February 21, 2018, 04:13:24 AM
FUD spreading like wild fire and news agencies and all form of media are buying it for the sake of site visits and traffic. There's also a lot of instant crypto experts who gives unsolicited advise to holders that the end is near. Who cares and who needs their advise. As far as I know, what we are experiencing now is nothing new to the market and if you are not used to it, definitely you are new to crypto. HODL!

Chart Source: Cointelegraph

BTW: As I type this post, BTC-USD is back to $7,350

Yah such corrections are common. We had the same correction prolonging for more than 400 plus days causing $7K plus lose. If you look at the growth right after this correction, it was massive. It took the the bitcoin market value to more than 300 percentage hike than the lose occurred. Now after 10 days we could again see $1000 dip in last 5 hours.  It would resume back as dumps and pumps have become the nature of crypto currencies. So hope the price would recover back to $15 on a month time.
952  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-02-20] South Korea Govt Will Support Cryptocurrency Transactions on: February 20, 2018, 08:15:25 PM
The head of South Korea’s financial regulator and watchdog has now confirmed the government will support cryptocurrency trading while encouraging banks to facilitate transactions with exchanges, effectively killing any fears of a rumored ban.

In noteworthy remarks made today, South Korea’s Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) chief Choe Heung-sik said the government will back the cryptocurrency industry to develop in the country. Specifically, the official said the government will support “normal transactions” of cryptocurrencies, three weeks to the day after the government moved to curtail anonymous accounts trading in crypto markets in late January.

As reported by Korean publication Yonhap, Choe told representatives from cryptocurrency exchanges in a recent meeting that the government “will support [cryptocurrency trading] if normal transactions are made”, suggesting the government will encourage the growth of the industry under know-your-customer (KYC) transparency.

Korean regulators mandated the use of a real-name trading system from January 30 wherein cryptocurrency traders and investors are required to use their real names with their cryptocurrency exchange accounts or wallets and bank accounts, a move to put an end to the anonymous trading of cryptocurrencies. While anonymous account holders can continue to buy or sell cryptocurrencies using their holdings via virtual accounts, any new cryptocurrency purchases or withdrawals in fiat will require compliance with the new KYC rules.

Although a number of major banks began issuing new virtual bank accounts to cryptocurrency traders as a part of the real-name trading system, several local banks have reportedly been reluctant to follow suit with the government’s intervention trading last month.

To remedy the situation, Choe revealed the government will “encourage” banks to establish ties and engage in transactions with cryptocurrency exchanges.

Choe’s remarks today further cements a striking turnaround from a ban on cryptocurrency trading first proposed by Korea’s Justice Ministry. Instead, South Korea is reportedly considering its own approval system in granting licenses to cryptocurrency exchanges who play by regulatory rules and guidelines.

Does this news confirm that banning of traders / exchanges in South Korea was a rumor ? Its really consoling to hear that South Korea has understood the benefits of allowing crpto currencies / trading / exchanges in their countries. Even banks were asked to support crypto currencies trasactions to their concern bank accounts when trading. A good decision from the government end. Hope this again pushes back the bitcoin value claim too high. This would support other crypto currencies values grow as well.
953  Economy / Speculation / Re: Invest in Bitcoin now or wait for another dip? on: February 20, 2018, 07:25:49 PM
Currently, Bitcoin is valued at $11,826 and rising. Is this a good time to buy small chunks of Bitcoin, such as 0.1 or 0.2 BTC? On one hand, people buying now are buying very high. But what if it doesn't dip again to under $10,000 this year and just keeps going up?

Not sure if the bitcoin value would keep raising or would go down to $10K or below. It all depends on the prediction as of now. You know the current situation. I would say, yes please buy as much as you can. The current growth ratio confirms that the bitcoin value would keep increasing in the upcoming days. If you wait, you may have to spend more to buy what you can buy now with less investment. But be sure that you will profit out of investing now. The experts predict that the bitcoin value would hit $30K by the end of this year. So this is your time to decide upon.
954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange or Wallet? on: February 19, 2018, 07:01:38 PM
Its better to have wallets for each coin and have these wallets secured with 2FA or any other secured authendication option. As the coins are earned or bought so hard, its good to keep them in our own wallets. At times the sites may hacked or closed (at times). Even wallets can be hacked, but its more convenient and secured to have out own wallets for the coins we earn or buy. Exchange can be only used to either purchase or exchange the coins.
955  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is recovering on: February 19, 2018, 03:30:00 PM
BTC has recovered half and moving on its own track now.  Last 10 days growth has been so healthy and strong. Though there was a slight dips, gradual growth has been maintained  and still moving forward. Serously  a good sign after 6 weeks of correction. Now the price is at $11K plus.  Really expected. Hope to see the same trend in upcoming days.
956  Other / Meta / Re: how merit works? on: February 19, 2018, 12:47:22 PM
The merit was designed to eradicate low quality posts and spams. The merits and smerits differ as per the rank. Any one can earn unlimited merits but the smerits is restricted to the ranks. But as you keep earning merits, your smerits would increase. Everything is explained from the beginning in the below link by Sir Theymos.

957  Economy / Economics / Re: How to Choose Crypto Exchanges. Vote! on: February 19, 2018, 12:17:31 PM
High degree of security is must for all sites dealt on currencies. Need to save from hackers. All expect best price to exchange. That has to be considered. Customer support should be in place to have an interaction on issues felt. The sites should be designed to have user friendly features. As said, positive feedback and reviews should be received from the users. This gives the sign of all aspects.
958  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Market to ath again on: February 19, 2018, 11:53:12 AM
What is your take on the market conditions? Do you think we are seeing this bullish trend (from the bottom) keep going to ath again, or do you think resistance will hit the uptrend back again?

What price levels are you watching?

I am watching 12k, but I am very bullish on the market right now.

Now BTC price is at almost $11K (10941). Last 10 days growth has been so firm increasing gradually in green. Hope this trend continues and we see last December's atmosphere very soon. The experts thought on btc price by the end of 2018 is $20K plus. This green signal should bring more investors into it.
959  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why is campaign rates dipping? on: February 19, 2018, 11:41:49 AM
I AM HOPE THAT THEY WENT DOWN.

At least, this will keep the shitposting down for a while, and i am sure that all those phillipinos & co are going to stop shitposting, because $0,50 per post is not profitable for them anymore.

LONG LIFE THIS DIP.

The btc prices are down yet the rates of the campaign have not increased or the new campaign if any which comes up in btc payment are not being revised rates. Also according to me this is the right time for people waiting to launch their coins to do the different campaign as the rates of btc are less so they have to spend less on promotional/marketing activities.

I think the rate in campaign is based only in the budget of one project, the manager will divided it to make it run for 4 weeks or more, for me those rate is fair enough we are here to help and not to gain much higher income than the project we promote. We should be thankful that there are developer continue to launch new project and campaign which we able to join and got paid.

This would be a reason. Another main reason would be the price increase. The payout started dipping from November 2017. The reason was, the bitcoin price kept increasing. Though the payout was less, users were able to meet enough amount as BTC price kept increasing. The payout was still reduced hoping the price would go up more. But unfortunately the correction caused huge dip in all altcoins' price. But the payout did not get changed as everyone hopes that the price would reach $20 very soon.
960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Must Read by Everyone - Securing your Crypto 2018 on: February 19, 2018, 10:27:56 AM
Good supportive / necessary share on securing wallets. Thanks dude. Yes, has hackers are around looking for loop hole to hack wallets / exchanges / trading sites etc, its individual responsibility to keep his or her wallets and etc secured with all possible option given by the respective wallets sites. Always activate 2FA authentication factor in mobile. This would help keep the wallet so secured.
