I Had to reinstall the wallet several times from my Backup. That seems to be the only solution.
I haven't had any issues yet but you could try using the deamon & simplewallet. I'll go over the source again. |

Yes, we do need one but will require some community support. Yobit did receive a paid request to add the coin. We are on C-Cex but seems we don't have anyone voting. C-Cex would be great, it usually leads to Bittrex after. |

BitDirect v1.3.1-Linux update from yesterday tested on Linux Mint, works great & looks great with the new update. //unable to open in Ubuntu 17.04, the previous Linux build does work & or I could have had it open? Will retest it again to see  Edit: also sending a tip to both lukless & epicfailman Great news... I'll try to get the Windows Updated as well. |

I think I will buy this currency, but what can this currency do?
It is just an overall solid coin. Decentralized, secure and anonymous network running without problems for 2.5 years Extremely fast transactions 11 different algorithms Resistant to major attacks Honest and transparent Very small premine of 30,000 which were solely used for bounty rewards Low coin supply - 14,264,745 Developer is still around, and is in it for the long run. New wallet released like 5 weeks ago, and he is currently working on something else Market cap of only ~$30,000. Extremely undervalued. Should be somewhere in the $100,000 - $1,000,000 range. Marketing is the problem. It is not really known and does not really have a fan base. It would only take 1 bitcoin to get PXI over 900 sats on Cryptopia... That is over 6x from current ~150 sats. I agree, its a solid coin that needs marketing. This coin should be around 1000 sat, but it will need more investors. |

Errors found well testing BitDirect (BITD): 1. addresses have a space in them (79-80th letter of 99) & could create major losses when sending via copy & paste 2. doesn't open an encrypted wallet, freezes the GUI app & might only be recoverable with the simple wallet? 3. no debug console in the GUI, can't remember if bytecoin, ducknote>darknote>digitalnote or now monero GUIs have a debug consoles? //hope to see those errors fixed, mostly for anyone new to testing & not having a loss in testing. even though bata or testing always has bugs, but these are copies from the original cryptonote coins & not forked from them? They seem to have a new cryptonote coin now more than years ago, having watched the very first ones start many years ago & can't ever forget the Dosh idea if I recall right  Edit: epicfail seems about right for most of these test, but once in a blue moon it's well worth IT & or knowledgeable Error no 2 should be fixed in the windows wallet. If you use linux, the source is fixed...dont know if the dev have already compiled a new linux gui wallet. Did you observe the address problem only in the linux gui wallet? Or the simplewallet as well? The debug console would be nice..I agree *g The 80 bit space error was in the Linux GUI & the windows GUI missing a dll file, the simple wallet works without any know errors. I'll recompile the windows and linux gui wallets this week. What dll is missing? |

It all depends on the transaction size, not the coin amount
If you have many small pieces of coin amounts, the transaction will be bigger so the maximum amount smaller.
You can if you want, create a separate wallet and send your coins there in as big a transaction as is allowed. For as many transactions as are needed. Like a storage wallet
Then it is a lot nicer and tidy, and the wallet size in kb will be smaller too with less chance of corruption.
Keep the other wallet for mining
@lupanar An average of 500k can be sent Sometimes 1000k is also possible  Thanks for info. I was asking because there was some cryptonote coin that had limit about sending amount, 1500 coins was sending with no problem but amount more of that was coming back in a few days, so as I understand all cryptonote coins have there own limits about send amount, more or less. So if that is true about 500k that can be send in one time than thanks! One million is the max when sending coins to another wallet. I have sent 250k, and 500k to other wallets without any issues. |

Can we generate more receiving addresses in the win wallet? I have only the one provided by the wallet itself and don't see any Options for additional addresses.
By using the simplewallet you can create as many addresses as you want, also by leaving the daemon running you will add more nodes to the network. |

The new community should start spreading the word about Bitdirect on facebook, twitter, steemit, and golem. I applied at Yobit exchange, on this exchange they can speed up the process if you pay in btc https://yobit.net/en/addcoin/.
