941  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Simple Reason Why Bitcoin is not Money on: November 11, 2023, 01:20:16 PM
Bitcoin can be used to exchange goods, can be used for payment even if it is not legalized by the government, as long as there is an agreement between buyer and seller , bitcoin is called money. I don't understand why the OP and some others are saying that bitcoin is not money when it can do anything that fiat can do.
When Bitcoin is functioned as a money in a country, it is not as simple as you think, buddy. Legality is a must, even if both buyer and seller agree, it is still illegal if the government doesn't allow the Bitcoin for a payment tool. It happens in my country, Bitcoin is illegal for a payment tool. You can use Bitcoin for an investment purpose only (digital asset). If you use it to pay for goods or services, you will be jailed or get fines. Our laws only allow our national currency (Rupiah) for the payment tool. So, in this matter, we have no chance to function Bitcoin as the money in my country.

When bitcoin was created, it was already a currency , a p2p currency that was not controlled by the government .And to be a currency,  it just needs to be able to do anything that fiat can do , and bitcoin can do everything that fiat can do. The only difference between fiat currency and bitcoin is decentralization and centralization as well as government legitimacy. So , it would be incorrect to say that bitcoin is not a currency.

It will be a bit inconvenient if the government does not accept bitcoin as a currency , and we will use bitcoin secretly, but that does not mean it is not a currency. Just like many years ago, the government even banned us from investing in bitcoin , but are you quietly investing in it and considering it as an investment?
942  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Simple Reason Why Bitcoin is not Money on: November 10, 2023, 03:14:38 PM
I consider Bitcoin as loads of things including money, the difference is just that it doesn't function the traditional way.

The single fact that it leverages on a blockchain technology driven by codes makes it become, first, a code, before it becomes a network and then a coin having a dollar value backing it then it becomes a store of value and loads more, depending on who is addressing it as what.

I also consider bitcoin as money, the difference is that fiat money is only for traditional transactions which are without collateral and we are forced to use it. In contrast to bitcoin, apart from many things, bitcoin is also future money that cannot be faked and is honest money.

because I believe we are still the first generation, now is the right moment to enter because in the future we will just reap the results. Especially now in the age of technology, all information is quickly conveyed to many people, so I don't think there's a need to wait a long time to get the results.

Bitcoin can be used to exchange goods, can be used for payment even if it is not legalized by the government, as long as there is an agreement between buyer and seller , bitcoin is called money. I don't understand why the OP and some others are saying that bitcoin is not money when it can do anything that fiat can do.

Not only that, it can also serve as an investment, a hedge against inflation and even turn us into our own bank without having to rely on anyone . Bitcoin is not just money, Bitcoin is also a versatile asset.
943  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the Choice of Investors on: November 10, 2023, 03:00:10 PM
Bitcoin seems too hot and very popular in crypto which makes it become the first choice of investors while altcoins are just an additional option. If we are looking for a safe investment, nothing can beat Bitcoin.

Remembering 10 years ago while Bitcoin is not yet gaining popularity and hype, only a few see its potential while the majority are just ignoring this. But it has changed already after it hit a huge market pump making huge investors and social media influencer talks about it. It was the potentiality of the project and its use case brought such changes in the entire crypto market.

If we say investment in crypto then Bitcoin is the best cause we are all know that there are many successful investors shared thier testimony on how they make a good profit in Bitcoin and that's the reason why other small investors want to invest in Bitcoin too. Cause they will know that in the near future they can earn a lot of profits.  And Also Bitcoin is tye safest cryptocurrency interms of long-term.
But we must always remember we need to study first Before we enter in the world of investment.
If we only discuss the cryptocurrency market , it is clear that bitcoin will be the first and top choice of most investors because of the level of safety and significant profits it brings . But as I see , what OP is trying to say is that bitcoin is the choice of every investor in the world when compared to other investments . I think this is not entirely true because many people still reject bitcoin and have never invested in it . Currently , it can be said that bitcoin is still not the preferred choice of every investor.
944  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whatever happens, hold on to your Bitcoin. on: November 10, 2023, 02:47:12 PM
There is growing excitement in the Bitcoin community following the gains recorded by Bitcoin. The reason for this growth is hardly unconnected to rumors of Bitcoin ETF approval. Have we thought about what will happen to Bitcoin price should all the ETF get rejected? I don't want to imagine this but whatever happens, hold on to your Bitcoin.

There have been bull run without Bitcoin ETF and there will always be bull run even if the ETF is rejected. So even when the market temporarily nosedives if the ETF is rejected, do not panic. Once again, hold on to your Bitcoin and do not panic.

I agree with you that bitcoin could go up even without an ETF, but it should not be denied that what is happening is not related to the ETFs. The market is very bullish on ETFs and what is happening is the impact of news related to ETFs. Certainly, bitcoin will still recover and increase in price without ETFs, but if the SEC rejects ETFs again, you will see the bitcoin plummet immediately. We should continue to hold bitcoin no matter what happens but don't think that bitcoin will be unaffected by this news.
I have no reason to give up on bitcoin even though the ETF is rejected, because bitcoin's growth cannot be stopped at this time plus we are almost approaching the bitcoin halving of course the price will continue to increase.

Only people who don't fully understand bitcoin experience panic and even have doubts about bitcoin. For me, the SEC and ETF are also people who really like to create drama, from physical wars to digital wars. Rest assured, bitcoin will still skyrocket and nothing can stop it.

Nothing can stop the growth of bitcoin in the long term, but in the short term we should not deny that the Fed, SEC, interest rates , or ETFs will not affect bitcoin, that is not true. Bitcoin is also part of the world economy and those people are the ones who control this economy so they will also have an impact on bitcoin .
I don't know if the ETF is important for bitcoin, or whether it will have a positive or negative impact on bitcoin. But one thing I'm pretty sure of is that ETF are inevitable whether we like them or not.
945  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 09, 2023, 04:14:17 PM

Bayer Leverkusen is not going to have any problems in the upcoming few matches, to be honest. I don't know if they are actually going to face any challenges before facing Dortmund. And even when they are playing against Dortmund, I don't expect them to lose. Because the performance Dortmund is showing right now is just very inconsistent.  And on the other hand, Bayern Leverkusen is the most consistent team in the Bundesliga this season so far. Even better compared to Bayern Munich. I don’t think they will have to worry too much about the upcoming matches.
In terms of strength, Bayer Leverkusen is already very strong this season and they just need to maintain their consistency, and in my opinion whoever Bayer Leverkusen's opponent in the Bundesliga will not be too burdensome for them, Bayer Leverkusen this season is able to withstand the series against Bayern Munich, the strongest team in the Bundesliga so that can be done. is a benchmark, and for the next few matches against Dortmund it will certainly be fierce because it is a match for the top team in the Bundesliga, but Bayer Leverkusen's percentage of winning the match is still quite large.

Yes absolutely true. They have weathered the storm that Bayern Munich brought. And that is enough indication for at least me to consider them one of the best competitors for the title. So far what we have seen from them, I think we can easily say that they have the capability of performing well even against bigger opponents. But one thing I have always been saying and I will say again is that they should try to keep their players, healthy. They should really be careful so that none of the players actually get injured. Because that seems to be the only thing that might actually cause them problems

<...>
So what's your sudjestion on this.

Don't buy at the top.

Don't buy just because of FOMO (fear of missing out), that's why many investors are waiting for too long because they bought at the peak price. And they never lose any money while waiting, their Bitcoin stays in their wallet, but the price is not the same, so technically, if they wait for the next bull run, they will make a huge profit if they have a big patient as well, simple as that.

If you buy bitcoin for $69k in 2021 and sell bitcoin during the 2025 bull season for $100k, do you think that's a huge profit? Meanwhile, you have to hold for 4 years and only get back x2 accounts, do you think that is worth what we have to trade?

Investing requires knowledge and clear planning, we should not invest blindly. In investing, if we are excited when we receive profits, we should also be brave to accept losses, that is the law of finance we need to know. Therefore, if we buy at a price that is too high , we should cutloss and start over instead of holding for a long time and making a negligible profit.
948  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 09, 2023, 03:01:12 AM
It looks like Leverkusen are going to play one of their most comfortable games in a few days.  Smiley  It is a home game against Union Berlin. It is really unexpected to me to see Union Berlin performing very poorly this season. They have lost 8 games in a row so far which is horrible. Their manager Urs Fischer is still keeping his job interestingly.

I think this is just too much to give more chance to a manager who was successful in the previous season. I would already sack him if I were in the board's place. Anyway Leverkusen demolished them by 5-0 here in the previous season. I won't be surprised if a similar score is seen again.
Last season, Union Berlin were one of the most consistent clubs in the German Bundesliga as they finished the season with just one point behind forth placed Leipzig but has really fell short of what we saw last season. The reason behind their deep decline in form is what I don't know.
Facing a Bayer Leverkusen side that's been very impressive since the start of the season will definitely be difficult for Union Berlin and I don't expect any result other than a win for Bayer Leverkusen in that very encounter.

Bayer Leverkusen is not going to have any problems in the upcoming few matches, to be honest. I don't know if they are actually going to face any challenges before facing Dortmund. Jadon Sancho could leave the team during the summer but sadly this drama happened in the first weeks of this season which means, this player should wait for a longer time and see if there is going to be any offer for him in the next transfer window. I think it's better for Ten Hag to use this player if he can have any benefits for the team because Manchester United is currently in a bad situation.

Unfortunately, these two people do not want to lower their egos to make the maximum contribution to a team that is not in good shape. They should be aware and improve the condition of the team, not worsen the atmosphere. It could be that in the near future it is not Sancho who leaves but Ten Hag. LOL.

I actually think that this might happen. The level of inconsistency that Manchester United is showing is definitely not good. If Manchester United do not start showing consistent performance and if they do not start winning matches continuously I think definitely the authority might actually think about getting rid of the current coach. Lots of people say that he has done really well for Manchester United. But I haven’t seen one problem being fixed for Manchester United after he came in as the coach.
950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: November 08, 2023, 03:21:46 PM
Inexperienced teams are finding it hard to win against experienced sides. Yesterday Afghanistan had Australia down to 91/7, but then Maxwell and Cummins took them to 293/7. And today Netherlands had England at 192/6. But then Ben Stokes and Chris Woakes took them to 339/9. It is a torture to watch the Dutch batting. Last time they had 5 of their batsmen runout in a single innings. And today also they started the same trend with a needless runout of Wesley Barresi. If they waste these chances, then they don't have any right to ask for more matches against full member nations.

I was actually really surprised and amazed at the same time to see what Maxwell actually did. When I saw that the score is 91/7  I thought we have to be ready for a surprise/ upset and Afghanistan is going to win this match against Australia.  but that did not happen. As we all know Maxwell actually played the best innings in any World Cup ever.  and he also did that with one leg.  some people have only seen the score but they don't know that he actually had a cramp in his leg muscle while playing.  it was really sad to see him hurt like that.  but that guy is really something else, he stood there and hit sixes like it was nothing.  congratulations to  Australia and also Maxwell for his 200.

Netherlands will probably not be able to win this match. England has given them a big target. They still need 190 and they have 5 wickets in hand.  they also only have about 18 overs.
951  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if some country decides to pay pension to working population in bitcoin ? on: November 08, 2023, 02:49:29 PM
What if some country decides to pay pension to working population in bitcoin ? What percent of people will agree to getting pension in bitcoin in your opinion  ? What will be the benefits and limitations of this occurrence in long term on people and economy ?

But the thing is I don't think this scenario will happen, as long as bitcoin doesn't become a currency and volatility stays high this will never happen. We need the fact that bitcoin is only used as an investment, more like a store asset like gold than a currency. And have you seen anyone using gold to pay workers? Furthermore, as long as people still only view bitcoin as an investment, paying salaries in bitcoin will be useless because people will also convert it to fiat currency immediately.
952  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ferrari introduced BTC payment option for their cars on: November 08, 2023, 02:31:57 PM
Very strange that this wasn’t bigger news. I’m surprised this would be the first I’m hearing of it. Nobody really buys Ferraris that care about money anyway though I guess. Hopefully this leads to Tesla accepting Bitcoin for their vehicles again, as that would actually matter and probably make a big market impact given their sales numbers.

But who cares whether Ferrari accepts Bitcoin or not? I would have been irritated if this was big news to some people. This is really a side note in the grand scheme of things I think and Ferrari accepting Bitcoin is really no incentive at all for Tesla to revise their position. Neither are they competitors for the same target group, nor are they comparable to each other in regards to market power and influence. Ferrari is not even 1/10th of the market capitalization of Tesla.
Although this is not too big news and Ferrari cannot be compared to Tesla, Ferrari's popularity is known to most people even those who cannot afford to buy their products. This news is nothing special similar to Honda accepting bitcoin payments nor does it create any hype for bitcoin, but all this news says is that bitcoin is becoming more and more accepted, its popularity is getting wider and wider.

But honestly, I don't think Tesla accepting bitcoin will be good news for bitcoin . I mean what if they accept it and then proceed to eliminate it?
953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ICC WORLD CUP 2023 DISCUSSION THREAD! on: November 07, 2023, 02:44:18 PM
Australia lost their fifth wicket. Labuschagne was run out at such a crucial moment. I didn't imagine they would play so stupid like that. Australia's batsmen should have batted more carefully. As they lost four wickets very quickly. The way Australia are batting now, it will be difficult for Australia to score 100 runs if Maxwell is out. Australia now collect 72/5. There is no chance of winning the match. Losing this match will make it more difficult for Australia to qualify for the semi-finals. They will play against Bangladesh in the last match. Although Bangladesh is not strong, it is not possible to make predictions about the performance of this team.

Afghanistan's bowlers are literally playing with Australia's batsmen today. Australia is batting very badly. The confidence of the Australian players hit rock bottom after losing several wickets early on. This is why the performance of top order as well as middle order players is very poor. At the moment Australia is only 97 runs and they have lost 7 wickets. Australia has no chance of winning this match. Australia need 195 more runs. Maxwell is the only experienced batsman. After losing 7 wickets so quickly I don't see the possibility of Australia scoring 292 runs with Maxwell batting. Afghanistan players are very confident now. And this confidence will result in them winning by a big margin today.
954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ICC WORLD CUP 2023 DISCUSSION THREAD! on: November 07, 2023, 02:05:13 PM
Can Afghanistan win against the Australian team today? Knowing Australia I think it is hard for them. Considering the overall performance today, it seems Australia has a upper edge against Afghanistan. They were able to restrict Afghans from going beyond 300 runs. For me that is a positive sign.

If Afganistan wants to win against Australia, they would have to get wickets before the first power play ends. The first 10 overs are critical as it helps the bowling side eliminate the top batters. The situation is similar as of Afghanistan are able to get a few wickets it would become a problem for the Australian batting.
Australia's chances of victory are slowly diminishing. They lost 4 important batsmen for just 49 runs. Azmatullah took two wickets in two balls. I didn't expect to see Australia batting badly in the power play. Maxwell and Labuschagne are batting now. If these two batsmen can survive at the crease, Australia still has a chance to win. But it is much more difficult. The average run of the teams in the second innings on this pitch of Wankhede Stadium is only 196 runs. This is why it is difficult for Australia to win by batting at a target of 292 runs. Moreover, Afghanistan's bowlers are bowling well today.

The Australian team is now in trouble. I never imagined that Australia's  top order would  collapse like this. In the last 5  matches we have seen great performances from Australian players. Especially  the batsmen  played very well. But today they can't stay at the crease against the Afghanistan bowlers. At the end of 12 overs, Australia collected only 61 runs, losing 4 wickets. If Maxwell and Labuschagne can't play big innings then Australia has no chance of winning. Australia has a slim chance of winning if these two batsmen score a century. But the match is now completely under the control of the Afghanistan bowlers.
955  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it the right time to invest in Bitcoin? on: November 06, 2023, 10:55:25 AM
There’s no perfect or right timing to buy a volatile asset. Perhaps with Bitcoin when its value fell to the $15k mark? We already had the opportunity to go all out but only a few agreed to do so. One explanation is risk tolerance; many people were worried that the price could even go lower. And now that its price is already high then you still hesitate. This is why I believe that all of sus has the capacity to invest but not the courage to act upon it in a single glance. The right time to invest is once you are ready to embrace the risk or possible profit
Having good patience really pays, I could remember when the price of bitcoin went as low as $15k, this was a very good time to buy bitcoin but some people were still afraid thinking if they buy the price will still fall below $15k but today the price of bitcoin has gone beyond 30k. Bitcoin is real and reliable but people still don't understand,  they still have fear and tension for the matket may be because they want to make money from it very fast. Bitcoin is always profitable in every given time, procrastination can make one lose opportunity of getting good benefits from bitcoin.

I still remember when bitcoin dropped to $15k, many people still didn't want to buy bitcoin and they thought it would drop to $12k and called that the time to buy bitcoin. But unfortunately for them, that didn't happen and now we're at $35k, and I bet you that. Even if bitcoin drops to $12k at that time, they will not buy bitcoin and say they will wait for the price of $8-12k. Not only are they people who don't believe in bitcoin, but they are also greedy people who just want high profits without any risks.

Many people have changed their lives by investing in bitcoin, but the confusing thing is that until now many people still do not believe in bitcoin and ask stupid questions.
956  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitfinex suffered minor phishing attack on: November 06, 2023, 10:44:41 AM
I wonder why anyone would trade on Bitfinex still... It's one of the exchanges with the worst reputation and historically have wronged so many people. At this point it wouldn't be too unlikely that it's just a frond for Tether and their unauthorized printing of fake USDT for money laundering.

I don't use Bitfinex, but have they been hacked before and caused damage to users? One thing I see is that Bitfinex is also a favorite exchange platform for sharks. Some news I have read and learned is that whales in the market often use Bitfinex or coinbase to sell assets rather than Binance or OKX. So I think maybe they are another big exchange besides Binance or OKB.

As for them printing USDT, we don't have any evidence for that so it's hard to say. If they were actually laundering money or doing something illegal, would law enforcement cover them up?
957  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if there was only one cryptocurrency, which is Bitcoin? on: November 06, 2023, 10:35:46 AM
I don’t feel that bitcoin has any competitor to be honest and if they were no Altcoins the adoption of bitcoin doesn’t look like something that would be affected because even now the number of people that go into cryptocurrency are through bitcoin, so even without the other coins they will still come.

The price of bitcoin might increase only due to demand because without the Altcoins which promises huge returns and some people will to have invest almost all of that into bitcoin, which means a high demand of bitcoin than now.

Without altcoins many wouldn’t be in Disney world that they could be become rich over night from it and without them the scams done by fake or shit coins wouldn’t be there and the cryptocurrency space will actually gain the purity that bitcoin brings

If we are only talking about Bitcoin, it was not created to compete with anything; altcoins only appeared because Bitcoin is decentralized and no one can control it. So in order for them to gain control, they created altcoins, because through this, they will have the opportunity to take advantage of people they don't know so they can get money from other investors.

But let's accept it or not, Bitcoin quickly became popular because of altcoins. That's true; without altcoins appearing, I just think Bitcoin probably wouldn't reach the ATH of 69k$ each. It means that somehow altcoins have contributed a lot to the crypto space.

Looking at the market capitalization, many years ago when there were not too many altcoins appearing, bitcoin dominated 70-80% of the market. But in recent years, bitcoin's dominance is only 40-50% of the market , meaning there is competition in the market between bitcoin and altcoins.

And I agree with you that, if this market did not have the presence of altcoins , bitcoin would not be as well known or have such impressive growth as it is today. If there are no altcoins, what can we compare with bitcoin and realize that bitcoin is the best to invest in? The role of altcoins should not be denied.
958  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FTX CEO Sam Bankman Fried found guilty on: November 06, 2023, 10:28:43 AM
That's pretty good news. I just hope he gets sentenced to life in prison. And hopefully, this will also be a warning to people like him who have the ability to do what SBF did. But I hope that no one will fall victim to the many investors.

The only thing we don't know is if the money that he took from the people who trusted him to put money into FTX will be returned, but it seems unclear that it will be returned. This is the justice that they took back from SBF, as far as I can see.

SBF's sentencing is a warning to those with fraudulent intentions like him, but also a warning bell to us that the market is full of scammers and should never be trusted by anyone in this market. The marketplace is a battlefield, there is no one good and trustworthy enough for us to entrust our assets to, including famous people and reputable companies.

Regarding compensation to investors, I think it will take a lot of time for the victims to receive it back. What I'm thinking about is Mt.gox, I'm not optimistic about Mt.gox and I also don't expect FTX to be like Mt.gox.

Sentencing SBF for the crime he do might be a warning to any CEO who plans to do scam to the people used their platforms. But do we really think that it can stop them to do the same action? I think not maybe those scammers will find another safe route after their scams happen and they could really do that especially if they accumulate a huge amount of money came from the people. We should never trust anyone in this space even if they are famous or what we called successful man running their businesses its because the same like happenings of FTX could still happen since there's huge market on crypto so provably these criminals will get attracted to get the money of people especially when they see it reach at multimillion level of fundings they have on their platform.

The law always has loopholes and that's why criminals still operate in all fields despite the heavy penalties for previous offenders . So I think scammers in the market will also find newer ways to scam others, so we should absolutely never trust anyone in this market. Always be vigilant and trust only yourself and no one else, including law enforcement agencies. They won't scam us but they can also confiscate our bitcoins for no reason.
959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 05, 2023, 07:45:17 PM
Roma managed to win in the match against Lecce, in the 88th minute I thought they would lose but in the last minutes Roma were able to surprise and end that game with a score of 2-1. Good game ! Although Lukaku missed his golden opportunity through a penalty, but he became a hero in the last minutes. On the other side, it seems like Lecce will really regret it because they couldn't hold on with their 1 score lead until the end.
Lukaku was the man behind Roma's victory as he showed his quality today by scoring the winning goal at the 90+5 minutes to steal all three points from Lecce. Lukaku is a great player with good quality and he knows the right time to net the post. He has put joy in Roma's fan and the club as a whole tonight an Mourinho will be proud that he brought him down to Roma. Lecce tried their best today and wanted to use Roma as their first win in this season but Roma slipped off their hands as Diaz equalized the ball with a brilliant header. This is a goof result for Roma, because I never expected that they will win the game from one goal down and they scored two goals under 8 minutes.

If Roma did not win today's match, the entire blame would have been placed on Lukaku. And Lukaku is the main hero behind Roma's victory in today's match.
Roma received a penalty in the  fifth minute of the match. And Lukaku failed to score from the penalty spot. Because of this, if Roma did not win the match, Lukaku's poor performance was to blame. And thanks to Lukaku's goal in the last minute, Roma won the match 2-1. Sardar Azmoun scored the first goal for Roma in the 90+1 minute and Lukaku scored the second goal just 3 minutes later. After 90 minutes, Roma players could score two goals in extra time, which Lecce players probably did not imagine. Roma team was lucky so they managed to get full 3 points from this match.
960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: November 05, 2023, 07:41:07 PM
It seems that Luton cannot be underestimated at all because after all, playing against Totteham in the previous match, in reality Tottenham also only win with a score of 1-0. Therefore, it doesn't seem strange that in this match against Liverpool, Luton almost won, because Luton also managed to score a goal in the 80th minute, while Liverpool just managed to score in the +90 minute. Even though I lost the bet because I chose Liverpool to win, but if I see the final result like this then I think this is a funny result. Because, it is clear on paper that Liverpool will be able to win, but in reality it is not as easy as imagined. Lol
I think these are just coincidences and isolated cases. Luton are 17th in the table and have 3 defeats in their last 5 matches. But it's still amazing that Liverpool completely dominated the whole match and still managed to concede at the end. If Luiz hadn't scored at the last moment, Liverpool would have been relegated to 4th place.

Liverpool performed well but I expected a  more composed  performance from them. Luton have been one of the weaker teams in the Premier League this season. Despite this, Luton's players were very confident today, even against strong opposition. They did a great performance. Perhaps the Liverpool coach did not expect that a  small team like Luton would be able to put up such resistance  in front of them. If Diaz had not scored in extra time, Liverpool would not  have been in third place in the table. And so I'd say  Liverpool were lucky enough today, that they managed to get 1 point.
