295x2 almost similar to 2 x 290x, 290x produced with 44 chips and each gpu on 295x2 also have 44 chips, 88 in total. Referring to this https://www.nicehash.com/profitability-calculator/amd-r9-290x?e=0.1&currency=USD , most profitable algorithm for 295x2 is Crytonight and second ones are Equihas.

okay but when i try to check for gtx 1080ti i got this result

https://www.nicehash.com/profitability-calculator/nvidia-gtx-1080-ti?e=0&currency=USD

Ok, referring to the result on mine and your link
  • GTX 1080ti (Electricity costs=0) = 0.00043921 BTC/day
  • 290X (Electricity costs=0) = 0.00025 BTC/day. And then, 1 x (295x2) = 2 x (290x), So your 295x2 will produce 0.00025 x 2 = 0.0005 BTC/day.

Ajarin lah Masta ana nebi
Tolong Alat dan Bahaan Di sebutkan ya
Agan mau mining apa ?

sebelumnya nih gan, ane biasa ngepool eth ethermine.org,

2. Iya, tapi angka disana hanyalah estimasi. kembali ke penjelasan no.1

Kurang lebih seperti itu gan.

How can a newbie get started with mining?
First, all you need to do before buying some rig or install any program is understand what is bitcoin and how it works. If you understand about this technology then you'll never ask this question. When you wish to start mining it's a sign that you understand it needs a basic knowledge of computer programming language.

Basically, to be a miner, doesn't need basic knowledge of computer programming language. but yes, if we knows basic knowledge of computer programming language, it will help us more easier to understand mining process.
949  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Use for old Antminer S1? on: November 26, 2017, 05:51:41 AM
Yes, find an alt coin with a lower overall hash rate and a bright future.  You will probably have to mine at a loss for now.  That is why the bright future is so important.  Mine a lot of coins.  Save them and hope they go up in price in the future.
it's sound like a speculation right, but how to pay electricity bill? (in case he need to pay it)
950  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer S3 missing Chain on: November 26, 2017, 05:47:29 AM
Resetting your machine, might will be your solution, since the antminer s3 have a resetting button. but am not sure if that button can bring back your clock setting to default. good luck
951  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Use for old Antminer S1? on: November 26, 2017, 05:41:48 AM
A few weeks ago, I got an old Antminer S1 for cheap, cause I was curious about BC mining. It's got an undervolt mod and does about 140 gh/s. Right now I started with mining on Slushpool. But I only make like 6$ a month. I didnt expect the miner to be this outdated. Or would updating my firmware maybe help?

Is mining altcoins an option? But there seem to be only  a few coins that use SHA256 hash.

Thanks for any help!

How you could think that old gen of antminer will worth for mining this day? antminer s1 with high power and low hashrate (180-200 GH/s for 360 VA)wouldn't give you profit for bitcoin mining, especially if you must to pay electricity bill. try to mine other SHA256 basec coin maybe good choice, but am not sure about it.

How can a newbie get started with mining?

Buying some ASIC mining off course (I suggest Antminer s9). And also, you need to knows basic knowledge about cryptocurrency and mining itself. After all, experience is a best teacher. So, learning by doing is the best way.

954  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Question about ordering from Bitmain on: November 26, 2017, 05:02:29 AM
Hi, im planing on ordering some antminer s9 from bitmain.com but I have read some very negative reviews and complains about bitmain. So what i heard is people been having issue ordering their antminer, the status for the order dont change from unpaid to paid after they have sent bitmain the money. Anyone has experience with bitmain before, please tell me if bitmain is legit or not, what would i have to deal with if i order from them. Thank you
Bitmain is one of the biggest ASICMiner producents, I have good experience with them, but it was a few years ago when I bought antminer s1,s2,s3
955  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Gigabyte-GA-H110-D3A Mining board SUCKS! Can't get 6gpu up and running on: November 26, 2017, 04:52:37 AM
I have so many problems with this board. Probably just bios fucking me over all the time. I have 3x 1060 3gb and 3x p106-100 mining

Can't seem to get to work with 6gpus at the time. All 6 of them work fine separately. But when I plug them in all together I am stuck at Windows logo screen and the loading circle keeps circling.

I have tried enabling 4g decoding and then I don't even get to the windows screen. I tried switching to GEN1 and GEN2 still nothing. I did Windows 8.1/10 WHQL Support -> Enabled too.

Is there anything I am missing out? I once get them to boot with all 6, but then one GPU showed me following error: "This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12).

I restarted and added 4gb RAM and didn't get it up and running.

I have few rigs with asrock pro btc h81 r2.0 and didn't had a problem with them at all. Then there was a time I coudn't get any cpu for Asrock motherboard so had to buy this one..

Anyone with similar problems?
what windows version you are using? Try to plug your gpu 1 by 1, don't plug your 6 gpu together in one time. after 1, shoot-down your Rig, plug the other one to the next socket......until all your card  detected all by system.
956  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CPU and the amount of memory for a mining rig? on: November 26, 2017, 04:23:47 AM
video cards dont mine bitcoin. I suggest doing more research before you order your first part.

He says he will put his GPU rig along with the ASIC Miner (Antminer I think)
I've got a few video cards laying around and wanted to try to put together a mining rig for bitcoin.  This would be a first for me, I've always just bought Bitmain miners, but why not if I've got most of the equipment and can afford a few hundred to try.
I see that MSI has a Z370-A Pro is only $100 after $10 MIR that's designed for mining.
The only other thing I would need is a CPU, but have no idea which one is recommended or if a minimum is required.  I know the graphics card does the load, but if I've got 8 cards running (2 on motherboard and 6 on riser cards), do I need an adequate CPU to handle the load?  With the Z370 it needs to be a 8th gen. Intel.  Will a i5 8400 65W be OK, it's $200?
I've got the rest of the big items.  A couple 8GB sticks of DDR4 (should I use both or just one)? A CPU Cooler. A few Hard Drives lying around.
I've got a EVGA 1600w Platinum power supply that i'm not using. (will this handle 8 GPU cards?)
I see a case is $60 on eBay https://www.ebay.com/i/322581889838?chn=ps&dispctrl=1 if I need to go with one.
And the riser card set for 6 is like around $45 and the USB 3.0 card is $30 on amazon.com are the accessories I'd need.

don't ever pair your gpu on your motherboard. while doing the mining process, all parts of your gpu will increase its temperature and it will melt the pcie socket on your motherboard.
957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: GPU rig pools? on: November 26, 2017, 04:03:24 AM
I'm sure this was asked many many many times BUT as we all know things in our mining world change by the second.

I just built 34 Mining rigs with all different GPU's just wondering what your opinion is on where to point em?

Nicehash does make it easy, but easy is not always best now is it?

thanks guys
if you plan to mine specific coin instead of auto switching, I recommend http://suprnova.cc/. trusted and stable.
958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How to mine Bitcoin Gold? on: November 26, 2017, 03:54:42 AM
Even though I am a veteran in trading, I am an absolute newbie in mining related matters. I have never tried to mine because my laptop is very old with Intel i3 processor. However, I have recently purchased a new gaming laptop with i7 processor, 12 GB ram and 4 GB DDR5 graphics card. It is still on the way and probably will receive it within another 4 days. I am planning to mine Bitcoin Gold which are going to be created after the upcoming hard fork.

Can anyone please help me with a step-by-step guide of bitcoin gold mining. I need to know from the beginning as I have no idea about mining.

Thanks in advance!
https://btg.suprnova.cc/index.php?page=gettingstarted ,but remember it will risk your new laptop and you got nothing.

how about equihash or ether mining in android???
can anyone help me about that by giving information of any equihash or ether mining app for android???
even if there's any way to do it, it's a faster way to destroy your android phone. don't do it!
960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining in 2018! on: November 26, 2017, 03:38:01 AM
if your consideration is live times, you should choose the newest card such as 1080ti or Vega, but previous gen such as rx 400/500 series, 1070 can be on your alternative list. 1 more important is, you need a card that has more than 4 GB vram.
