941  Other / Off-topic / Re: Team USA will play in the Philippines for the FIBA WORLD CUP 2023 on: December 25, 2022, 04:44:03 PM
Besides the lowest tier view is just like watching dots from above and you are mostly just watching on the screen to see the close up action.

Not sure about some popular arenas here in PH, but referring to Smart Araneta, Upper Boxes do have a good view. The one you see on live stream or TV is way different when you are on a Live Game as a Live Audience. Been in Smart Araneta several times already and the usual tier we always choose is lower tiers (Upper box Section). I will disagree that the view on that tier is like watching dots. It's very clear and has a good view.

Anyways, did FIBA already mentioned the possible venues for the games that will be held here in PH?

Crypto gambling keeps growing faster than Fiat gambling, it's good to see that the masses now favours crypto for gambling than using Fiat but the only issue I have with crypto is the security, data breach and co so I want to know if hiding my IP on a crypto gambling website is secure? I am going with a premium sub of express VPN. If you think otherwise please tell me.

You need to understand that with centralised system you can't hid your IP for the casino. Have you considered if the casino rules and regulations forbids you to hide such plus if they require you to submit KYC then hidding of VPN or paying of premium sub of it is already defeated from beginning.

Aside from that, OP should also understand that using VPN has nothing to do related to its account being secured while playing on a gambling site.

The security of an account depends on our own way of securing it such as making sure that our used devices aren't harmed by any malicious malware and software. Sometimes, accounts hacked is because of the user's fault.

But if the site itself did the scam attempt, that's a different story and nothing we can do about it.

What would happen in game 2? Are they going to play Powell already?

As far as I know, Powell is already out of the conference that's why we should not at least expect his return. Even though it's reported that he is attending practice, he is not 100% capable to return on his best. If Dragons will be activated again next conference, it's good for them not to risk anything and just allow Nicholson to do his job.

I also like the action of both teams idling the ball at the last minute of the game with no such movements and just waiting instead for the final buzzer.

Lebron is the best scorer for the Lakers in that game. What do you mean by if Lebron plays like a leader they can win that game? That does not make sense as when Lebron came to the Lakers, don't expect him to have that same performance during his prime.

Not all the time the Lakers should rely on him.

Isn't those young cores should do the adjustment instead of relying on the Lakers' fate on a 38-year-old guy?

But let's not just talk about the Lakers here as, in that game, the Hornets really gave their best.

What doesn't make sense? People expect LeBron to lead the team, score 30+ and win games when AD was out. Who do you expect to score 30+, Pat Bev? You can't win games constantly if you don't rely on LeBron, Walker and Westbrook. They already have narrow rotation, only seven players get time. That's why Lakers need to do good trades to stay relevant this season.

Hornets played better, Hayward was effective while Oubre wasn't. LaMelo can dictate tempo (usually fast) and direct the team. But their defense is not good, 130 pts showed that. They have good rebounders so they scored from 2nd chances much. Still, they are not more than another lottery team.

I called it a crap expectation then. Expecting an old Lebron to consistently score 30+ PPG because Anthony Davis is out of context.

Believe me, the Lakers without Lebron should handle the Hornets. No need for Lebron to supposedly make a 30+ score.

The Hornets are currently at worst with just a winning percentage of .273. Therefore, it doesn't make sense to point out that if only Lebron played a leader in that game, they should win it as you are saying.

Can you detail completely what you see on that game to the point that you see Lebron didn't act as a leader in that game?

945  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why there are no cool games on: December 24, 2022, 10:59:42 PM
OP have clearly mentioned about the games that needs to be played for a long to master it. To master the game playing against other players it takes time and continued betting would slow down the gaming process. It is always good to spend on games like chess, if someone is interested into player vs player games.

Chess is more vulnerable to cheating. Hard to trust if we are against a real player on Chess online. The reason maybe we can't find such games on gambling site platforms currently. The same goes for PvP games like OP is referring to.

Casino games don't cover the PvP games. It's not even a considered innovation for usual casinos to add that games. There are already lots of casino games that users can enjoy compared to risking money on skilled games like that.

PVP games like that mostly can be found in tournaments. OP can try looking at that if there's available, and participate there instead.

Also expecting a tight match every game where one mistake can lead to costing a game.

I'm looking forward to their games where there will be lots of turning points at the end where until the final buzzer, we won't know who will be the winner.

Since I don't know what other local betting should be made here as @bisdak40 slots are already full, who will bet against me on how much is gate attendance later on haha. The closest one is the winner. I bet 17,000 audiences for Php 300 bet. The winner takes all. Cheesy Cut-off time is 30 minutes before the game.
947  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who is to blame on: December 24, 2022, 10:33:56 PM
Is the requirement of KYC from online casino the reason that gives birth to online casino getting regulated? I mean in the past there is no regulation thing pointed to online casino but now all eye are on them for a must regulation if they want to keep their platform alive and functioning.

There are users who ended up being scammed by some gambling sites that are not regulated. Where are these users complaining? To the authorities that even don't how to help these users because there was no way to file a lawsuit against the scam sites involved.

Because of being regulated, a gambling site exposed their real profile and that's good for transparency as it involves holding their user's money.

Not an assurance that we are safe but at least, we have a reference for who they are.

Expect that we will face KYC in our preferred gambling sites in the future. It's not new and should not be a problem if we are complying with KYC with a reputable gambling site. No difference when we are submitting KYC to other companies with the same reputation.
948  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 24, 2022, 10:28:04 PM
You can't blame the whole Los Angele Lakers for that as the Charlotte Hornets really have a hot shooting on that game. They just established their season-best on that game shooting 55.3% from the field. It's not usual for the Hornets though that's why it's understandable that you put your trust in the Lakers during the live game and decided to place a bet on them.

But seeing the odds on your screenshot, it's a @2.5 Moneyline for the Lakers meaning they are behind during you place your bet.

How many scores are they trying to rally on when you place your bet? Regardless, better luck next time.

Lakers was pretty good despite the odds actually, except third period. They had a chance to go overtime or win the game a couple of times but wrong choices and missed shots made them lose the game. LeBron's shoe was out in last position, that resume the game. If LeBron play like leader again when AD is out, Lakers can get a couple of wins. Thomas Bryant use this opportunity pretty good so far. Even if AD comes back I believe Bryant still have some good amount of playing time.

949  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where do you bet on wwe matches? on: December 24, 2022, 10:19:15 PM
Do you know any?

Few options that I came across either dead or removed wwe betting.

I guess it's not that widespread due to its scripted nature. But, it's never known to viewer.

I think you are aware that Letter E on WWE stands for Entertainment. You even mentioned that the nature there is scripted.

Still, any reason why still place a bet on it? Maybe you think that it's because it's scripted, bettors don't know what will be the result. Not a good reason though. Entertainment matches here are not streamed live.

If gambling sites list betting for it, it might be subject to abuse by those who have direct access to any information inside the WWE.
950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino bonus is it worth it? on: December 24, 2022, 10:07:41 PM
Sometimes it worth chasing but such rare cases are user is close to next level less than 3%. I have personally done it before because the reward worth much more than sum of deposits I made to make it even if bad luck takes away my deposits. In reality, I don't suggest anyone doing it since it can be very bad idea if things don't work in your favor.

Meeting such levels isn't that simple but not that we can say that level of difficulty is really too extreme.

If the overall progress to the next level is around 3% then it's clear that the user didn't do much effort and spending.

As you said, it's a rare case that's why don't expect to meet such terrible requirements in most cases in any bonus-related promotions.
951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino bonus is it worth it? on: December 23, 2022, 05:49:25 PM
If we see the bonus requirement as quite easy or with a bit of effort, we can possibly achieve it, then it's not wrong to give it a try.
But remember that since it's a marketing strategy, expect that we might end up depositing more money just to reach the requirements.
Sometimes players become lazy in the middle of completing the said requirements and ended up giving up.
A deposit bonus entices a gambler to make repeated deposits on the site, be it small or large amount . And free spins draw gamblers to that site again and again and compel them to continue gambling on that site . Everything is the marketing model and strategy of that site . These strategies are followed by every site until they get huge amount of gamblers for their site but when they become a big company they stop these strategies. And then they automatically acquire new users according to their company's brand value

Of course, such promotions and offered free spins are obviously a way of attracting new users that's why gambling sites try to make it unique as possible since competition between gambling sites is really tough, and the best marketing promotion will be the one that would be noticed.

As for reaching the wagering requirements, it's really necessary to deposit more in order to achieve it.

Gambling sites won't obviously give free money without an associated task as that promotion will be prone to abuse and cheating.
952  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why every casino got bad habits? on: December 23, 2022, 05:37:48 PM
therefore, until the moment the gambler has won some good amount that he would like to withdraw from the casino, he is not faced with the fact that the casino will scam him.

I will put the blame on users in that particular situation. Why in the first place that a user still push and continue to play on that site despite being not aware of the site's reputation? If that case happened to a reputable site, in most cases users are the one who commits the mistake unintentionally but that should be properly detailed to the complainant, and won't just close the account without explanation.

Scams site are everywhere and their existence will be forever as there are always users that will end up as prey.

It's really mandatory that the necessary adjustment should be done by us to prevent from being scammed.
953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 23, 2022, 05:20:29 PM
I really not referring to Ginebra's win on eliminations as a basis that they have an edge over the Dragons in this series. Since the Bay Area Dragons already played against a full complete lineup of Ginebra, expect that some adjustments will be made by them.

Since everyone is Ginebra including me, anyone likes to have a local betting here where we will predict what game Ginebra/Dragons will close the series?

Game 4 Ginebra/Dragons
Game 5 Ginebra/Dragons
Game 6 Ginebra/Dragons
Game 7 Ginebra/Dragons

The winner/s takes all. The prizes though might not be satisfying so a low bet will do. For example, If 4 players choose Game 6 and only a few bets on other games, no choice but to divide the take-all money even if it's smaller than their bets.

Any adjustments on this rule or this plan of mine suck as shit. lol. But since Game 1 will be on Sunday, not much time left to organize this.
954  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do when trading gives you heart problem. on: December 23, 2022, 05:06:03 PM
Copy trading would be also suitable for him if he really wants to be in trading. Long term holding is also good but he needs to practice not checking the price time to time since that could also cause him stress and will lead to problems. It is best if he tries everything (copy trading, holding) if it still giving him problems then probably he needs to find another source of income. Cryptocurrency are really volatile so it would be stressful everyday so it would be nice if you will be staying away on this if he cant control his emotions to be safe.

The cost of copy-trading is not a joke. It requires a decent cost and there are only a few reputable platforms that offer such features.

Don't also consider copy-trading as a sure shot. Users are copying good traders here but they also suffer losses.

Holding might be the best way to keep away from stress and emotional stress. But what if after a long period of holding, the result is still bad?
955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: December 23, 2022, 05:02:08 PM
The rules is rules but I think spence will do anything for the belt cause we all know that every boxer has an ego and spence is a champion not an ordinary because he is undefeated then for sure he won't let thurman get that WBC belt in easy way. and if I will in spence position then why not I will fight for that belt. But all the decision is in his team if they gonna fight thurman or not.

If Spence will decide to move up weight at 154, there's no choice but to give up those belts and titles he currently holds.

Those vacant and available titles will now try to be achieved by those eligible top ranks boxers that will be approved by boxing councils.

But as far as Spence's recent comment is concerned, he might return to the ring in an actual fight in April or May but nothing was mentioned about moving u weight. Therefore, boxers like Thurman will really need to face Spece if they want to get a piece of his titles.
956  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Demo Account, Should Not Be Related To A Real Account on: December 23, 2022, 04:55:20 PM
Now my question is
~why can't we relate demo accounts to real accounts
~why do you think people still start making losses on real accounts after long time trading demo successfully

Users are more relaxed on a demo account since nothing is at risk here. No worries if their trading actions will result in a lose.

They might think that the experience is just the same in real trading.

As a result, emotions now take place as real money is now at risk. Since these users are new to the actual pressure of doing trades, they are having a hard time to adjust with the situation and that affects their way of handling their strategy.
957  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cock fight game on: December 23, 2022, 04:50:56 PM
OP, the discussion here won't stop because we have our own preferences here. We can't just force our own beliefs on other people.

The subject here is the same as those topics that won't end up because of pride and Principle.

Better if the thread will be considered now locking. It will lead to nowhere and I think it already serves its purpose. Smiley
958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why there are no cool games on: December 23, 2022, 04:46:13 PM
Since we are talking about real money here, having a bug in those complicated games would ruin the casino completely. And fixing that bug in a complicated game would be too much time consuming, expensive.

I don't consider games such as Tekken, Mortal Kombat, and Street Fighters as complicated games with complicated technology associated with complicated bugs that need a complicated solution. These games are provided by well-established Game Providers and the gambling site will just run them.

It's not the bug actually but demand of that game. Casino games also shouldn't handle that type of competition or PVP related as in the first place as that wasn't a casino game where users are against the house, not on other players.

A dedicated platform is needed for that type of game.

It's just fine to use VPN if you feel you are much more comfortable doing that because of your own security concerns.

But as others also mentioned and suggest, always be aware of the Terms and Services of that site because as far as I know, the use of a VPN isn't always allowed in some cases. Better be safe than sorry.

There are prohibited regions on some gambling sites and might be a risk on your account if you will used a VPN server in a prohibited region.
960  Other / Off-topic / Re: Has your budget for gambling been affected by the festive season? on: December 23, 2022, 04:22:18 PM
As always, regardless of any season or what, if there's an upcoming purpose that I really need to spend money on, I will prioritize that.

Gambling is just there and if I feel like doing it, I will just play without bothering about anything.

I don't want to associate my gambling activity with too much complicated things. As I said, if I feel doing gambling, I will do it. If not, then not.
