It is better not to have any idle coins. Make them work - trade, invest, keep a little for dark times and USE it. This is the best way to to spread the technology, I think.
942  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Dollar on: March 09, 2016, 01:09:11 AM
I would say these two are worth each other. Each of them has certain advantages and disadvantages, and still dollar is much more recognisable and appreciated by people - because you can touch it, you do not need a computer to receive it and it is widely spread all over the world.

Yet, Bitcoin is a kind of reserve currency - you can always use it to decentralise your capital, it is quick to spend and receive, and it is hard to be deanonymized.

Yet, I am much into a traditional dollar - because this is a tool known by lots of people. Will Bitcoin reach the same level - time will show.
943  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do people around you think about Bitcoin ? on: March 07, 2016, 11:27:06 PM
Mostly people think this is some kind of a scam. Others haven't heard anything about it, a couple of friends think I am a hacker stealing some one's money and not letting anybody know about it. Lol.
944  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: March 07, 2016, 10:30:07 PM
I have done lots of mistakes, but the biggest one was keeping BTC on Mintpal. My 6k dollars are completely lost. This is a good lesson - never keep on exchanges more than you can afford to lose, use your own wallet.
945  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: March 07, 2016, 10:24:04 PM
Lots of things are used for illegal activities. It does not mean something should not be used. Words and letters are also used for illegal activities by the way - terrorists are using them to communicate. So we should use them with care, maybe we are potential terrorists?

It is quite hard to predict anything with cryptocurrencies, judging from my personal experience. The most interesting moment about Bitcoin in 2016 will definitely be block halving and cloud mining activities, connected with this fact. Lost of people either gonna be scammed, or if it will be found out that cloud mining will be still available after block halving - lots of people gonna invest much more in it. Anyway, it is going to be really interesting.
947  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BitGold.com IS COMPLETELY SCAM on: January 14, 2016, 05:51:16 PM
Bitgold just fucked me out of thousands of dollars after i spent money advertising for them. They claim to take back money earned due to inactive accounts from six months ago. I am disgusted with them and wanna puke. A lot of people are pissed off. i should have withdrawn every penny when i got it at that moment. fucking assholes !!!
Confirming every word. They are disabling hundreds of referred users due to a vague term "inactivity", and are not paying any money out. This is a complete and absolute scam, and my advice to everyone involved into their referral program is to disable it and stop giving them free targeted traffic, just as I did right now.

So pity, I had big hopes concerning partnership with them. Bitgold is a scam company. I have to confess it and deal with it.
948  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Hook-nosed people are evil on: January 14, 2016, 11:13:42 AM
The whole theory looks interesting, but what is the exact amount of hook-nosed people you've encountered with? Just to understand the possible mathematical error.
