941  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves Future! on: August 08, 2017, 12:12:40 PM
i will buy some more waves today, and continue to hold my waves. in a 1 year waves will be 10x i think.

It will go beyond that
It might or it might not but one thing is for sure, waves has a bright future considering that it also offers a platform to sponsor ICO's on their chain, just like ETH. It is improved though since when one creates a coin via their wallet, they will also have a place on their built in exchange on every waves wallet, making a coin already have a place to be bought and sold. It also has a leasing feature now which makes it quite convenient.
942  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best exchange to dump BCH? on: August 07, 2017, 09:44:03 PM
So I'm looking to dump my BCH for a few more BTC.

Although I peruse the forum regularly for interesting info I haven't really messed with altcoins or exchanges since the Gox days.

Are there any exchanges that allow trading of BCH -> BTC without needing to fill out tons of info or bank verification crap?

Thanks dudes
You can sell it now in bittrex it is a good exchange to dump your bch in my opinion. Also, it would be nice to dump your bch on poloniex on August 14, there is still a chance that it would rise in price but if you really want to dump now dump in bittrex. They dont require filling out tons of info or bank verification crap, just deposit, sell then withdraw. At least thats how it goes for me I dont know if it is done in bigger volume if bittrex would require those.
943  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash will be THE Bitcoin on: August 07, 2017, 08:28:34 PM
BCH is going up pretty crazy today. Any reasons?

Market demands a Bitcoin that actually works and isn't tainted by segshit. Flippening incoming once Bitcoin Cash becomes more profitable to mine.
Maybe, maybe not it is too early to say that bitcoin cash would actually overtake bitcoin and be the king because right now it got many flaws. Besides it the pumps that are happening right now somehow looks manipulated. All I can say for now is that there is a chance of bch dethroning btc but it still has a very long way to go.
944  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When did altcoins got so popular? on: August 07, 2017, 10:27:30 AM
Well what i want to know is when exactly did all these altcoins got so popular but most importantly, were there lot of discussions of altcoins before bitcoin hit 1000 dollars?  Because had i know about these altcoins, i probably would have gotten a good bit of them at low prices.  I had no clue litecoin was so low price at the start of this year.  Basically every altcoin in the top 25 etc has went up a lot where you could have made so much money etc.
Altcoins got really popular just this 2016 because in the past, only a few invests on ICO's but look at it now, there are many investors looking to invest into new promising ICO's. Those who have known sooner is so lucky, they have made a huge profit by now if they have invested big. Too bad I only have loaded a little bit less than 1 bitcoin worth of alts way back in the days but still its nice to get profit.
945  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash is Neither "Bitcoin" nor "Cash!" on: August 06, 2017, 06:01:51 AM

I'm not putting my BTC private keys at risk for BCH ATM.

This is going to cause a whole new world of confusion.
Why not transfer your btc first on another wallet on another device before putting your current private keys at risk for BCH? That way you won't have to worry about your bitcoin being gone because of bcc. Its a waste to not claim BCH after all, it is free money from the fork that have happened. For now I agree to OP's claim that bitcoincash is not bitcoin and cash at the same time.
946  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When i should invest in "ICO"? on: August 05, 2017, 12:52:46 PM
Hello everybody i want to know when i should invest during ICO. how i identify that coin will be Success in ICO or failed? And how to know any coin will not be scam? please clearify me these question.
It is pretty though to identify ICO's that will be scam or not so to spot one, first look st their public relation skills because most of the time those who lack this becomes scam in the end. Also look at the roadmap of an ICO, and their team because sometimes it determines what is scam and what is not. By doing this, it would lessen the chance of you being scammed by an ICO.
947  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [STX] Stox Speculation on: August 05, 2017, 09:32:51 AM
New prediction market crypto Stox.com is owned by well established company invest.com with a userbase of over 3 million. This gives them a significant advantage over Augur or Gnosis.

Today marks the first day on the exchanges and STX is looking really good. Currently on Liqui and EtherDelta with more exchanges coming soon.

https://www.stox.com/en/

Circulating supply about 29 million. Successful ICO, good community. Thoughts?
My thoughts about this coin is that it is not unusual for it to gather 148,000 ETH in just 3 days after all Floyd Mayweather invested in it. In fact he is shilling stox and I think this will really bring in a lot of investors. It looks kinda absurd but his action will bring a pump or two in it after it has been released in the market. Here is the link of mayweather's post in instagram shilling stox. https://www.instagram.com/p/BXD4KDqgX3x/
948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bit Cash can reach 2000$ on: August 05, 2017, 08:51:12 AM
Not really. There is improve with BCC or Bitcoin cash. It lessen the transaction fee and PowerBlocks size. Maybe in the future Bitcoincash value may reach 2000K USD. Just wait till the wallet of BCC is up and running then wait till they dump their BCC and buy it low.
Not really. There ain't no improvement at BCC at all, because the current fork improved original bitcoin as well with it having segwit so don't hope that BCC would reach 2000USD so soon but I might agree that it will reach that point when btc price is too high. I believe that in the future though bcc would be a good way to store value, just how Ltc is now.
949  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: High potential Chinese ICOs or coins on: August 05, 2017, 07:47:12 AM
Does anyone know of any Chinese ICOs or Chinese coins that have potential to get big. Something like NEO or QTuM.
If you want a chinese ICO that would probably have a potential to get big, I suggest OPUS. It already has a working beta product already before even starting their ICO. OPUS offers a decentralized music streaming platform that will allow music artists as well as playlist makers to earn from their platform. There is a high chance that this project would succeed.
950  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How would you invest 1 dusty BTC? on: August 05, 2017, 07:06:55 AM
Hello,

I've been away from the crypto scene for several years, I've discovered that i had 1 BTC+ on an old dusty HDD from back in the day.

I didn't realize there was so many new crpyto currencies, now I'm overwhelmed, I'm looking for long-term investments, i'll just put it back in the closet and forget about it for another few years.

Here's my current breakdown

20% BTC
10% LTC
10% ETH
10% NEO
10% Dash
10% XMR

So this leaves me about 30% or so left to put into smaller altcoins and that's where i'm having a hard time.

Suggestions are really welcomed  Smiley
Well it was a pretty nice move beginning to invest into altcoins. If you want a good place to invest that remaining g 30% why not put it on waves? It still got a lot of potential. Besides it you can lease it in their wallet because no it has a built in feature for that and their own exchange. Its up to you if you were to follow my suggestion or not but it would be nice if you will follow it.
951  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Giving away some Ether to clean wallet to zero. on: August 04, 2017, 11:04:37 PM
I'll be back next time I want to clear a wallet. It wasn't much lol
Yeah but you could have just swept it yourself on myetherwallet, you got the private keys after all. Also you can still use that as fee so why give it away? You can also research other methods to sweep that wallet in google. Well anyways it was nice of you, only a very few people would do that kind of thing and to the someone who got it, at least leave a comment here or pm OP and thank him.
952  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Am i right to say that every exchange has a few crashes? on: August 04, 2017, 10:23:49 PM
Can we expect a crash and how would that be?

Government controle?
There are some exchanges that aren't controlled by the government. Just always remember that every exchange is bound to crash sooner or later even if they are running for a long time because everything meets it's end. Mt. Gox was a good proof to this and many other exchanges that shut down. Even if that is the case, continue to use them just be smart to not trade when it seems to be ready to crash.
953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Profit from free airdrops? on: August 04, 2017, 09:13:53 PM
Did you ever made profit with free airdrops?
For example when the coin is introduced on exchanges i guess the profit can be very good?

If you made profit then how much?
Airdrops give 100% profit to everyone who joins because those who joins it can just sell it right after it hits exchanges, therefore they earn. If it is from developer side, they can still earn some sum of money but not as much as those who do ICO's because there are only a few airdrop coin that succeeded in the past. You don't make that much of a profit from airdrop coins one can earn at least 0.005 BTC if they sell their airdrop coins pretty early.
954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Profitable altcoins on: August 04, 2017, 11:48:36 AM
What are the most profitable altcoins for beginners to invest?
Are signature campaigns good source of extra income?
Newbie here. Thanks in advance for the advice
No one can reallt say accurately which is the most profitable altcoin to invest to right now since all that will be posted here are on subjective view. Signature campaigns are not a goof source of extra income for newbies. A word of advice, research an altcoin first before investing since it is dangerous to invest right away. Since you srr a newbie I suggest you trade one of fhe top 100 coins on coinmarketcap.
955  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I trade my btc for waves? on: August 04, 2017, 10:07:53 AM
I have btc and also bought waves.  However i feel like i want to have a lot of waves.

I posted in a thread asking would it be a good idea to trade all my btc for ETH and almost everyone said no that is bad idea.  Well what about waves?

Which idea is worst?  Trading most or all of my btc for ETH or waves?
Well it is not a bad idea to convert your bitcoin to waves to have many because it has a lot of potential. It got many good updates now and there's still upcoming ones so it still has a lot more room to grow. Even if that is the case I wouldn't say it is an entirely good idea because you can get better returns in btc and easier. Just hold, forget then come back after 4 years or so.
956  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is BCH expected to go up again? on: August 03, 2017, 12:43:19 PM
I see that BCH is gradually going down (after peaking at over $600 yesterday). Do you expect it to go up again? or would it end up low? What do you expect for BCH in the long run?
I expect that in the long run, it would end up at a low price, maybe lower than 200 USD after all people are just into it just to get free money and other miners are mining it only for it's profitability now. Even if that is the case, I expect in the long run that bch would be stable at a certain price and stay there for a long time. It will be like what ETC is now for ETH.
957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH exchange for WAVES / STRATIS / ANTSHARES...? on: August 03, 2017, 11:25:40 AM
Hi
I have some ETH, I've made some profit and now Im thinking about exchange them for some younger, potential coins ..Because of the current ethereum price (200-400$)  and market cap, its not likely to jump 5-10x in next year..

So Im searching for best coin to invest in money from ETH..

In my shortlist are Waves, Stratis, Antshares (I already have some amount of every one) but Im also thinking about investing in some game (Game credits?) or casino coin (?)..

I prefer invest only in 1 or 2 coin now ... most likely Waves and antshares/game.

Do you have better ideas?
Would you keep your ethereum or would you sell? (From a purely investment perspective for next 1-2years)
I think your idea is good and I think ethereum would just be stable for that price for quite a while. Among your choice I would prefer to exchange it into waves and stratis. Waves got a lot of potential among the coins listed, because of the current improvements it is implementing and ones implemented. Also stratis is being stage at its price now, and it still has a potential too.
958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoin has the most real life usage? on: August 03, 2017, 09:54:59 AM
Which coin can be used for real day-to-day payment these days?
Well you can use doge for real life usage if you are looking for a real day to day payment but many doesnt accepf it s there are others that I would like to mention. Monero and Zcash has been used in payments everyday in deepweb. They are good to use to pay someone when you are looking for anonymity. These currencies can be used for real day to day payments these days if you would like to buy in deepweb.
959  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH or BCC who whil be best? on: August 03, 2017, 08:19:00 AM
I want to discuss about these two giants, how your analysis of the ETH after the emergence of the BCC is a real rival, but I see https://myetherwallet.com no less great, fast and cheap deals.

Can BCC beat this?
BCC cant beat eth, because it is a joke, even the launching is a clusterfuck. When eth launched, it had an official wallet already while BCC ddn't have one. People are only interested in BCC just because it is free money, and it is a fork from the bitcoin we had before august 1 and now bitcoin is also improved. In terms of profitability, it would still be better to buy ETH, BCC pump looks like it is manipulated.
960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin cash? More like bitcoin crash! on: August 03, 2017, 07:05:32 AM
Whales are whales because they hodl Smiley Moreover they know that if they'd dump their big bags they'd crash the price and get little in return. And finally, they are rich, they don't NEED to dump.
Even if they are rich, they would still dump their bags in the future. Whales are whales just because they have a lot of money invested, dumps at the right time and rebuys if they want also at the right time. For now they are waiting before dumping because it still has a potential to grow but soon, we will see them dump their stash slowly but surely after all that's how they do it.
