941  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: May 08, 2016, 03:42:49 PM
Quit when:

1. You have enough money saved to last you until you either get funding.

2. Your full time job is taking up so much of your time that you're just not able to dedicate enough time to bitcoin.

If you are earning only from signature campaign then you need maximum one hour to spend online which can be easily done even if  you  have full time job.

943  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: May 08, 2016, 03:35:53 PM
Yes im holdinG Some bitcoin and waiting for price increase and i already got profit with it and i already buy bitcoin @390+$ price last march and wanting to earn more for this halving event come so i choose to hold more patience is virtue hope its worth to wait for me.

Yes I bought when price was around $250 so I am about to make it double in next couple of  months, I will sell my coins when it crosses $500 mark.
944  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2017 Year of the Bitcoin on: May 08, 2016, 03:29:13 PM
Who knows... Smiley Maybe 2017 will really be the year of bitcoin.
no one knows, but i think 2018 is the true year of bitcoin cause it will climb up upto  2000$.do you agree with me?

We cannot predict what will be the price of bitcoin after 2 years as it is difficult to judge as we are not sure what will be the price at halving so thinking of next 2 years would be waste of time.
945  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many btc do you have? on: May 08, 2016, 03:26:41 PM
I currently hold 6 bitcoin, 5 in a paper wallet made on a live Linux OS.

My last bitcoin is for trading, loaning, spending and tipping.

Good to hear that you have 6 btc in your wallet which will be helpful at the time of halving, I have only 2 btc at a moment and trying to collect as much as I can.

Yes try to get as much as you can and the end result would be that you will make good profits from it as holding more bitcoin means more profits.

I only have about 1BTC, but it results from the collect, maybe I would add by way of buying for halving later.
946  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN - Time to buy? Time to sell? on: May 07, 2016, 08:59:03 AM
the time to buy is actually running out, the price has been rising for a very long time and it is rising at a very good pace. so with each day passing if you don't buy bitcoin you are losing cheap bitcoin and you have to pay more for it the next day.

Exactly the price is rising now and today it has reached to $460 and may be tomorrow it will be more higher, so don't waste time and if you want to buy then buy it now.
947  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 BTC = 1000$ in 2016 on: May 07, 2016, 08:56:45 AM
The price could double when the halving comes. It could also rise again due to the block size increase. So $1000 is possible.
halving doesn't mean the prices can be double and may be lot of people has predict the prices will increase after halving but there is no guarantee prices will really increase and my opinion is 1000$ in 2016 i think not yet

It will surely take long time to achieve $1k mark as first we need to achieve $500 mark which is taking too long, so I don't think $1k is possible in this year.
948  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: May 07, 2016, 08:53:09 AM
I have an unusual situation. I do not work, I found a job, but to get a job, I need money for medical examinations and other. From the trade on the exchange I get a little income that I use now.
I still believe that Bitcoin is an alternative that is commonplace money, and it is not necessary to go to the main work for this.

if you can earn money with bitcoin job, why you need other job again..? why not you start focus and go fulltime on bitcoin?

If your company is paying you in bitcoin then nothing wrong, but earning on your own as a freelancer is risky as you don't know how much you will earn on regular basis.
949  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: May 07, 2016, 08:51:32 AM
For now, better you invest your money into bitcoin now. Because i think the price of bitcoin will increase because halving is so close now.
Many of people are talking about this but I am dubious if all people are waiting for halving then what will happen in the time of halving for market when all people are selling their bitcoins!
Not all the people will sell their coins at that time as now their is a lot of businesses connected to bitcoin and so the business-persons will buy bitcoin according to their demand by their business and also the supply will be lowered at halving so a stability in supply and demand will be created.
If that will happen that will be good for us, as of now, I am currently holding considerable no. of bitcoins and still savings on a weekly basis from my side earnings and a little portion of my day job. I know this is a risky investment but I need to take risk in order to gain big. I am like WIN BIG OR GO HOME.

I don't think that investing in  bitcoin is risky at a moment, halving will show us higher price so investing now will allow us guaranteed return by the the time of halving.
950  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: May 07, 2016, 08:49:23 AM
Many of people who know what Bitcoin is, at least to some extent, say Bitcoin will be over $10,000 in 20 years. I think they are not far from the reality so you'll need 100 BTC or 200 BTC depending on your appetites.

If it reaches to $10k in future then I think 100 btc would be more then enough for me to have luxury life, but I don't think bitcoin will have that high value.
951  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: May 07, 2016, 08:46:22 AM
If you give me 10 BTC I'll just send it back to ya because you need it more than me.

I will also do the same but only after making some profits from it  Grin I will trade with it try to grow and will return his 10 btc including some profits with it.
952  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: May 07, 2016, 08:43:00 AM
The future of Bitcoin is very bright

Yeah dude, everyone can said the future of bitcoin is bright but what kind of the bright future that you mean ? You can speak more details ababout it.

in my opinion "bright in future of bitcoin" Is we can use bitcoin everywhere as other currency, all country accept bitcoin as other currency, and the price of bitcoin very stable.

You cannot accept price stability in bitcoin for a longer period of time, it will keep on fluctuating in future too, but that is a part of bitcoin process and no big deal.
953  Economy / Speculation / Re: why a rise in value is a good thing on: May 07, 2016, 08:40:29 AM
Price rise is good as others have said for current holders and maybe will pull in some more inversters but the only way shops are going to start accepting bitcoin more is for more people wanting to spend.

Yeah they will start accepting only if they see customers willing to spend their coins for shopping, but if people are not aware about bitcoin then nothing can be done.
954  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Halving is a profitable??? on: May 07, 2016, 08:38:23 AM
It depends on the number of BTC you buy and sell. However, i do believe that halving will bring its profits. I hope to make a good sum of profit in the next BTC halving. Good luck to all!!! Smiley Smiley Smiley

Everyone is hoping best price at the time of halving, but halving will only show us whether our predictions were right or wrong, we can just wait and hope for the best.
955  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price Increase Incoming. on: May 06, 2016, 02:34:48 PM
I think it will take a couple months after the halving for the effect of the lower daily supply to really have a effect of the market.  I can see miners start to horde coins waiting for a price increase so they don't sell at a loss.
Its also possible that if the market goes downward when the block halves and these miners dump their coins we will have a crash.

My question is: Can bitcoin recover from such a crash?

yes
As you can see now you see indeed that the value is going to rise slowly and that is perfect for the people that is waiting for a price increase so they can soon sell it with some profit.
And that would be perfect but we cant control the value so you also dont know when it will stop rising.
It will continue to rise till we reach to the halving, and I don't think now there is anything to worry we will see good price in coming days.
956  Other / Archival / Re: should i save btc for future? on: May 06, 2016, 02:32:28 PM
I am saving for the future as I feel that price will be higher at the time of halving so selling now will not be profitable for me at a moment.

You are right. Not with the halving itself but the price boost will increase due to positive speculations. Also the whales are on the move and I think they are going on to a price increase activity before halving.

Yes and now time has come where we will see bitcoin achieving new heights as we have waited so long to see higher price of bitcoin but now wait is over.
957  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin continuous rising? on: May 06, 2016, 02:28:47 PM
Bitcoin value is really unpredictable indeed in the future. No one knows what would happen. Of course most of us hoping for a price increase in the next couple of years. As of now the price is stable because of the fluctuation. Halving has a big effect on value of what we are waiting... Let's see what will be the result, I think it will still depend on demand and supply.
Yes, price is not predictable at all. However it seems that supply is more than demand in the time of halving.

Yeah and I think bitcoin is rising slowly at a moment so we can expect some good news by the time of halving  and lets hope that price doesn't fall in recent times.
958  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: May 06, 2016, 02:26:04 PM
Of course, bitcoin cannot replace fiat or the true money we had in our countries. We just need to consider that bitcoin will become another currency
accepted for each countries where people use it.
Fiat is controlled by government, so if government will also control bitcoin they can merge it.
Yes, as the best case you can expect that bitcoin becomes a global second/third currency for electronic business.

Yeah bitcoin will be the best digital currency in future and I think people will use both, for online bitcoin,  and for physical they will use fiat currency.

The fact is we need both of them, and that would be a smart move to make, as in poor countries people need fiat to take care of their spendings and they will not find any place where they can spend bitcoin.
959  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: May 06, 2016, 02:23:33 PM
That day will never come in my life, as I always save certain amount of money on regular basis,  its better to save on regular basis rather then borrowing from someone.
960  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: May 06, 2016, 02:21:08 PM
Gold isn't easy to use in commerce since it's hard to pay the correct amount with gold. And it is limited in our society. But bitcoin is much better than gold because it is very easy to use but people who doesn't know bitcoin needs to be educated first about it.
Yes, bitcoin is much more popular and in fact it is not comparable with gold for trade and specially in online market.

The popularity of gold is far higher then bitcoin,  the popularity of bitcoin is limited to certain extent but things will change in future and it has potential to overtake gold.
You must think about the future and as you can see now you see that Bitcoin is getting more used and more acceptable because the world is also getting more digital and that is perfect for the coin.
Of course Gold is popular and a strong currency but you must also look forward.

We don't know how long bitcoin will survive but one fact is bitcoin users are limited no doubt the world is getting digital but how  many of total population is using bitcoin at a moment, and you know the answer.
