941  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you guys started to gambling with cryptos or fiat money? on: August 20, 2019, 04:19:32 AM
I never used a fiat when it comes gambling since its was not a legal game. And its very dangerous IMO because you know perhaps there's a possibility that they can locate you using your ip address . What i mean 'cuase it's not the same with cryptocurrency which is very anonymous and no one can easily locate your location and get your personal information.. So i preferred crypto than fiat for my safety.

Bitcoin is far from anonymous and privacy features will never be implemented into btc because legal exchanges will want nothing to do with it because of all the legal ramifications.   I bet most people claiming to want privacy are still using things like gmail and google chrome.

Yes, it's not anonymous, and you guy's have to remember that some exchanges do not want to send or receive BTC directly from a gambling web site wallet
I think Binance once blocked a guy for this, and you should be careful and read the rules of exchanges
It's very important to read the rules indeed, there's also gambling site who ask for KYC so it's no longer anonymous especially when the site detect some unwanted activities from your account they will urged you to submit your data to avoid delays with your activities inside the house. You are subject also to provide KYC if you have huge winnings that's needed to withdraw the site needs to verified since they are oblige due to money laundering concern.
942  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Man won 12 times in lottery on: August 19, 2019, 02:45:58 PM
I'm thinking what if he has the means to do this scheme without the help of investors, he could have won more than 12 times if he can do it all by himself without thinking of investors that will mess with his strategy.

I'm pretty sure somewhere in a country where lotteries are being operated there are syndicates that are working to rigged or exploit the system it's a multi-million dollar business and every business that is as huge as the lottery is prone to corruption.
There's incident which is been reported before that a certain chairman of a board who facilitated the lottery able to rigged the results of a lottery draw and let certain politician wins the jackpot, there's no impossible to anything when it deals with such huge amount of money, syndicate are around and can easily takeover once corrupt officials allowed them to take place.
943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling habits that will cost you on: August 19, 2019, 02:18:38 PM
Investing in gambling could be a way to make money, but I don't know if now that method still works or not because everything has changed now. Maybe if he can invest and make some money from investing in gambling, then that is good for him. But all in all, I think it is better to choose the other way to invest because the risk will be bigger for us.

Investing our money in gambling site isn't bad idea. The fact is it has lower risk than gamble our money. The risk while investing our money only you will lose some once whale won huge amount or getting scammed by the site (if you invested in trustworthy site, this shouldn't a problem)
Investing to sites bankroll will add good passive income, it will take some time to get your share profits but it's lessen your chances to get addicted or to lose big amount of bankroll, unlike playing your money which can cause danger to yourself as it can potentially ruined your financial assets once you get too attached and addicted.
944  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting feature at exchange on: August 18, 2019, 10:25:34 AM
The first time I found a gambling option on an exchange was yobit. They have a dice with 2% house edge that supports multiple currencies.
Trading and the hot topic of this time, margin trading are a form of gambling but dice and other betting do bring some fun to the exchange. But I'd still prefer an exchange without gambling option as I have my priorities for different places.

Yes they have one integrated with their dashboard, you will enjoy playing the dice game while waiting for a good price in all your coins or to get your orders completed, but I doubt if this is fair game, I still prefer gambling dedicated sites, because it's their business to make their platform as fair as possible.
That's one of the benefits if there's something like this inside exchange you can take some game for your past time if you can get away of being engaged too much and be so addicted as you'll be ruining your chances to earned but also chances to burned everything out if you mismanaged your investment.
945  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 on: August 18, 2019, 09:53:10 AM
The Greek team just won easily vs Italy and Turkey - especially Turkey being strong with many NBAers, it is really looking good for Greece so far - even though what counts in the end is the tournament and not those friendlies... Crash test today vs Serbia, I cant wait for the match!

This will be great test for Greek team, considering how strong Serbia is, i would even say they are favorites now to win world cup, with all those US cancellations.
It's a much anticipated heroic game for me MVP if they able to work it out and find ways to win against Serbian it's a good test for team Greece to check if they have the capabilities to work with this team then also getting a good chance to overtake team USA is also possible, lets wait and see if how Giannis will showcase his awesomeness inside the court.
946  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Cryptocurrencies are not harmful for economy on: August 18, 2019, 01:37:01 AM

Heavy regulation/KYC is fully contrary on why crypto is being created on the first place but due to regulation and for them to make an operation they would need to abide

government rules or terms which do really sucks and for us users we wont have any choice but to follow. The only thing that I wanna say is that government do still have that generic reason why they wont accept crypto and that's about illegal matters without even thinking that fiat itself is already a nest of these said shady transactions.

Different reasons but surely all of those government who's taking actions and asking for KYC are trying to have a control over this industry, they are creating rules in order to make sure that people around their jurisdictions are complying with the government and not sabotaging their entire economy, crypto can't be more powerful than the Fiat that they've using it can turned out to manipulates everything around.
947  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Andy Ruiz vs Anthony Joshua II on: August 18, 2019, 12:54:45 AM
Eddie Hearn warns Andy Ruiz Jr to honour Saudi venue for Joshua fight

Eddie Hearn has warned Andy Ruiz Jr he must honour the contract for his rematch with Anthony Joshua in Saudi Arabia after the Mexican-American insisted the bout would take place in the United States.

https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2019/aug/14/eddie-hearn-andy-ruiz-anthony-joshua-rematch-saudi-warns
Ruiz dont want no part of a Saudi Arabia rematch he says bring it back to America

There could be legal battle here if Andy Ruiz doesn't want to go to Saudi Arabia. On the other hand, maybe he just wanted more money, after all he is the champion here. But make no mistake about it, Anthony Joshua here is still the A-side so if I'm Andy Ruiz he should be better moving his ass and fight in Saudi and prove that he fight is no fluke.

Ruiz might be hyping the fight so that he is showing that kind of attitude. Yes, maybe he just wanted more money being offered to him because he is the champion. But he needs to realized that he sign a contract that a rematch would happen. He might not agree with the venue, but he doesn't want to go to a legal battle here because in the end it will just damage his career and reputation. He is acting like a diva now, I think upsetting Joshua and winning the belt gets into his mind and it is not a healthy sign.

I agree that Ruiz is hyping the fight, and will just sign the contract to fight Anthony Joshua in Saudi. Eddie Hearn is also a powerful man in boxing, so Ruiz needs to cooperate otherwise his career can be ruin by these powerful boxing managers in the industry.

https://www.boxingscene.com/andy-ruiz-on-rematch-not-everything-correct-contract--141777
It's needed to happened as it was been signed, it can be just a drama to hyped things out and attract more viewers as there's not much noise with this coming rematch so fighters needs to be more on the side of hyping it up to make more gamblers and fans to call this things out, Ruiz is a professional so he knows what it takes if he wouldn't act as one.
948  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I've lost on: August 17, 2019, 07:22:41 PM
Greedness has been the more reason why people do lose in gambling and investments. It is a very bad spirit and very few can control it. I have been trading and gambling and two things that has made me to make loses are greed and impatience. If you can get control over these two you will succeed in both gambling and trading!
I think being greedy is not really the problem, it depend on the level of greed because sometimes, greed even make us to do better. Maybe from my experience though, I have noticed that  when you wish to play more in order to gain more, it works perfectly, might not be consistently but so many times I noticed it that greed can sometimes serve as a motivation.

I am not encouraging anyone to be greedy, and moreover I don’t even see any form of greed with what the OP did, he did what was right and I am sure anyone would have done same. It’s just too bad that luck decided to be unfair to him with the game; we all know that gambling is a game of luck. Maybe we should always check our stars to be sure it will be favorable in gambling.
Some point in time where that desire overtake and conquer your mindset, instead of quitting you intentionally go forward challenging yourself to reached for more,of you do have that luck then it can increase more of your winnings but if fate play you up make sure you are ready to accept your defeats.
949  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Choose Lottery Instead Of Anything Else? on: August 16, 2019, 06:31:11 PM
I am not that big fan of lotteries because I know chances of winning in gambling for me would little better than those winning in the lotteries and better I can try my luck in the gambling where I enjoy the game and the atmosphere as well. And even if I do not win anything atelast I had enjoyed the moment in the casinos with some beverages and it is worth it than playing the lotteries for me.

Lotteries is for people who are busy but still want to gamble hoping it will change their future. My grandfather tried his luck on the lottery everyday for many years but he never win the jackpot. He only won once a consolation prize where he guessed 3 out of 6 numbers. As I can see on my grandfather, some people also enjoy betting on lotteries.
They've used it as their past time trying to get some luck out from this game, if they've got lucky then surely they will experienced a big changes from their life, many people still dreaming to have that kind of luck even it will take a lifetime for them but they will continue to chase and try to win the jackpot.
950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: August 16, 2019, 06:09:02 PM
Tough luck for him. Maybe it was a wrong move on his part to turn down the $40M 2-year deal with the Pelicians while he as still injured before he went chasing a ring with the Warriors.

Maybe, but who would expect an injury in his career, that's unforeseen thing in sports and everyone does not wish to be injured.
I admire cousins decision of gunning for the Championship instead of the money because maybe he got a plan that when he will become a champion and he showed up with the Warriors, his market value will increase, but it's just unfortunate that his expectation does not happen and even when he was still with the Warriors, he doesn't play a lot of minutes, still, due to the reason of injury problem.
He almost got the Ring but unfortunately  the team got a lots of injured players like him, the chance for him to get the ring can be alive after being traded to Lakers the problem is, he will be bench for the whole season and nothing to be expected after this injury comes up again and make it more worsened.
951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Philippine Basketball Association Finals Discussion on: August 16, 2019, 04:31:15 PM

He did good defensively during this series. My point was, he may turn into a scoring machine again for game 6 because of the issue and bashing he got from the public. That didn't happen but it's all good, they're the champs!

The coaching staff did the very good adjustment rotating the players who are playing well and contributes not only offensively bit also defensively to overpowered the TNT squads, there's always good and bad moments when playing and SMB have a much bigger luck to win over and grab another title, congrats to everyone both TNT and SMB fans out there.
952  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Maximum bet amount on single bet! on: August 16, 2019, 04:03:28 PM
I think this forum has lot of regular gambler so I am interested to know how much they ever spend as highest bet amount in very single bet.

My highest bet was $400 in a boxing game from Pacquiao Marquez match where Marquez knocks out Pacquiao with a single punch, I was so confident that Manny will win the fight because of their past matches, but it was a lucky punch I can't blame Manny, he was just caught while coming in.
That's the lucky punch from Marguez who KO Pacquiao which really unexpected from all the fans who bets favor for Pacman, losing such bets with a expected win is really stressing but that's how gamblers needs to accept sometimes shit happens and there's nothing we can do about that when you pick the losing side.
953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Philippine Basketball Association Finals Discussion on: August 15, 2019, 12:03:31 PM
Who among your here believe that this series is rigged and will go to 7 games? Why?

And do you dare to bet on TNT regardless of the odds in this particular game, the line is not open yet but I can guess that TNT will remain the favorites.
If so, what would be the line using the point spread betting?

TNT will only choke on the later part of the game which the SMB will capitalize. Jones will get tired because of the minutes he played and almost no rest for the whole game. This is the reason why SMB will catch up on the second half of the game. Even TNT will be the favorite in game 6, I believe the beermen will end it on that same match and no more game 7.
SMB will surely do their very best to win this game 6 to end up the series knowing how good TNT if opportunity will be open SMB will grab it right away and not to let it pass, it will be an thrilling game 6 for sure and many will call a bias sides from each teams and blame the refs again expect the unexpected while enjoying watching the finals.
954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Maximum bet amount on single bet! on: August 15, 2019, 10:06:21 AM
My biggest bet was $50 in a sportsbetting site. It may be small to others but in our country you can already buy some grocery with it. I was having winning streaks that time and for the last game I bet, I went all-in. I thought my luck was still on my side that time but after the game I lose. I wasn't able to sleep that night because I'm still a student that time and the money I bet was my savings from my allowance.
Worse things can happen once you are not carefully thinking with your emotions, you have the chance to move away after some winnings but since greed comes up and control your mind while playing, misjudgement to certain  events that mostly affects the outcome of your gambling activities, emotional control can give you an idea when to bet big or control for a while.
955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: August 15, 2019, 05:28:27 AM
Just curious here.
I know there are tons of way to live.

but is there such a thing as professional gamblers?

people who make a living onlyout of gambling (online or on rl)?

resources and comments on that are really welcome.

of course there are, even some people around me every day they like gambling so gambling can be done to meet their daily needs, but it certainly can't be done by lay people in gambling and can only be done by professional gamblers who have a strategy to be able to always win the game
There's no way to win in every games they've played, discipline is what they use to make sure to be positive and not to allow certain bust to happen while they are playing, you need to have a good sets of plans and most of those we called professionals knows their limitations and knows how to deal with bad days, they can simply quit if they not getting any good luck while playing.
956  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: August 15, 2019, 04:39:17 AM
Pacman's age isn't a problem, but with his successful career I believed that health is most important instead of fame. If I would be like Pacquiao with legendary fighting history, the option for retirement is very important. Although he's capable and powerful enough as a boxer, I don't think doing rematch with Floyd was just a concern of pride and not an issue of money. Manny Pacquiao was already financially stable, and this is not a very significant aspect.
For Pacquiao is no longer about money but more on proving something that he wanted to achieved, he's career is already magnificent and  the need for anything to add things up, it's all about pride and the desire to regain his glory, Pacquiao have everything in life, Fame, political success and financially wealthy, retirement is just a glimpse away to decide if ever he wanted it to happen.
957  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about Gambling and e-sports? on: August 14, 2019, 04:16:00 PM
If you don't understand esports or game that you have been gambling on (Dota, CS:GO...), you will not earn any money. In that case it's much harder to bet on then regular sports like football etc...
That's why you needed to involved yourself from this games in order for you to get the right teams to bet your money, once you are already engaged with this games you'll soon then to find the advantages between opposing teams you will be able to classified which team is really good your edge will be much higher than those who are betting only out of luck.
958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Philippine Basketball Association Finals Discussion on: August 14, 2019, 02:57:48 PM
I really can't understand this SMB, they are totally brutal on every second half of every game. They are much stronger if they are suffering to take lead.
For this game, I think it's down to SMB's experience and the fatigue of TNT's main man (Jones). Their (TNT) rotation is limited and the isolation plays for Jones in the last minute was probably a wrong move also since he was clearly exhausted.
It's the experienced who allowed SMB to snatched this game and win from the back, that rally that they've done in the final quarter being paid, TNT stars are exhausted not Jones alone but also Castro and Rosario, while from the other side all SMB players inside have it's respective help to win this game and take the lead from this series.
959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling habits that will cost you on: August 14, 2019, 02:34:42 PM
Seeing my winnings and still want to get another win and at the end end up losing all my gains to the gambling platform. This has happened several time to me and made me to regret why am not obeying my instinct. This action at a time cost me almost my savings for 3Months and still fill the pains till now.
If that's repeatedly happened better to keep away from this activities as it will surely harmed you more after, making things like this is no longer  a mistake but an habitual addictions that's needed to be overcome, take your break from gambling as you'll be losing more and more, as from the way you described your attitude to this activities will keep endangering your savings.
960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Philippine Basketball Association Finals Discussion on: August 14, 2019, 10:47:21 AM
Lassiter is a deadly player of SMB. He is a key player in fact. But look how Pessumal and Romeo play on court. They can fill up the position for Marcio. Honestly, TNT will hardly defeat the SMB if Lassiter is here. Because I think all three point shot came from RR or Rosario can be neglected if Lassiter will be their defender. Since we all know that he is really tough in defense. But right now, the play of SMB still good even Lassiter is injured and not in the court.

And vice versa. SMB with complete lineup will hardly defeat TNT too.

Remember that this conference is not an All Filipino Conference. Import factor is a must.
The import play a big role from this conference, having a good one like Jones makes a big gap between the two competing teams, though there's still a good chance for SMB to keep staying from the series and not to be left behind, they need to play good rotations from offensive to defensive stats, best of luck to all the fans who place their bets now.
