He gave me negative trust as for scammer just because he disliked how I am speaking with him in PM's  I am always paying for people (you can check my positive feedbacks) but he said that I am scammer without any reference. Also he created a poll where he offends my account. This is just an idea I just came with - A bit like r/showerthoughts.
Could we implement a banner for a sold account? So like the one that says "This users password was changed recently", it could read "this account was sold recently". Of course some account sales are undercover, but it could just be a box that admins could tick if they knew of a sold account.
I thought of this because I support account sale, but I do think something needs to be done against its malicious purposes. This is mainly because scammers make everybody think that the people that sell accounts are d**ks, when actually people like me are just selling to recoup money from a defaulted loan.
Just an idea, thanks for reading.
No, forcing the admins to do the work would go against the decentralization policy the forum is taking - i.e. the trust system. Besides, not seeing the account sold warning might give a person false confidence. |

However labeling an action before it is confirmed, is kind of extreme. Its like... Castrating a child because they may give birth to hitler 20 years later.
If we were to tag scammers only after they scammed, this place would be overrun. Trust is useless once someone has scammed! It's trivial for a scammer to make a new account and do it again and again. By recognizing the signs of a potential scam, we tag in advance and stop them from happening. |
