9401  Economy / Speculation / Re: The real reason BTC price has dropped on: December 19, 2018, 04:50:52 PM
If anyone is truly bewildered by the massive drop in Cryptocurrencies over the last year then they clearly can't be familiar with trading in general. Anything in any market (stocks etc), that soars up in price in the fashion that these cryptocurrencies did, eventually need to face a correction (in this case 80%+). It is healthy for the market actually, it could never withstand the pace that it was going at.

I agree but majority didn't see it that way. They though that the price will still go on parabolic rise even though all signs points that we have bubbled already. Lots of irrational investors, mostly newbies got burned easily and I think most of them go bankrupt and went out last May-June time frame. And by the way, I don't think supplier will be the appropriate term here, though.
9402  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Canelo Alvarez vs Rocky Fielding fight predictions on: December 16, 2018, 06:25:53 PM
Easy win on Alvarez as expected. Body shots are Fielding's weakness and it helped him to gain the title even though his enemy has an advantage in reach and height. Maybe Canelo need to fight a more experienced and more popular fighter to gain enough traction on the media Cheesy.

There's no popular super MW on the list of champions in either the alphabet belt (IBF/WBC/WBO) except perhaps for the youngest champion ever at MW, David Benavidez. All great MW's have retired already like Froch, Dirrell, Arthur Abraham and and Ward. So let's see if he's going to stay at super MW or go back to MW again.
9403  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Canelo Alvarez vs Rocky Fielding fight predictions on: December 16, 2018, 05:31:13 AM
As expected, Canelo Alvarez just blasted Fielding in 3 rounds. He knock down Rocky three times and the last KD was enough for the referee to stop the contest, so obviously, the height and reach advantage didn't bother Canelo at all. But then again, as I have said, this is cherry picking the weakest champion in the super MW so I'm not impressed at all but a win is a win. This made Canelo a 3 weight division champ.
9404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Open Letter to BCT community on: December 16, 2018, 02:47:43 AM
.. snip ..
Are we, (YOU), going to be manipulated by the greedy that have no respect for you? Or will you, as a collective community chose to assert your influence and power toward genuine projects that need your attention and bring REAL lasting opportunity that Satoshi and all of us can be proud of?

With Respect and Humility
MetaCode.World team

This is a free market and as much as we have whales manipulating the market in a fraudulent way we can't go anything about it for now so we can either swim with them or get out of the market. If collectively assert our influence then I think we can call that centralization, a total opposite on what Satoshi has envisioned.
9405  Economy / Speculation / Re: Jump out of the ship when it is sinking. on: December 16, 2018, 02:27:43 AM
BTC prices are falling continously. Investors in the waking should alert themselves and try to minimise losses by booking profit .

Oh well, everyone here is up to make money. So obviously a lot of traders are shorting bitcoin, either by bot or manually pushing the sell button.

If this trend continue for another six months perhaps the present prices will look like a nighmare and  it will be late ,moreover the predictions of lower level becoming true .If it is negative view or advise to follow ?

I don't think that this will last for another six months. Bears are really exhausted at this point, I guess this is really the best time to get in for long term as we might see the end of this year long bear season and see a new cycle begins early 2019.
9406  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What do you think about the BitSeven platform? on: December 16, 2018, 01:57:02 AM
I tried 4 different platforms, but chose the BitSeven platform, there were a lot of advantages. And what do you think about this platform?

You can look at this chart for comparison against Bitmex leverage system:

I'm not shilling for Bitseven but it looks like they're doing so far and of course we love to see some competition for Bitmex specially that crypto space is getting bigger and we want a lot of services to choose from.
9407  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't love any Alt coins. on: December 15, 2018, 10:19:49 PM
Actually people's learn from mistake. Those mistake I did began, I am realizing now. That's why I want to share it. Perhaps everyone will not agree with me. Every traders have few favorite coins. It's normal fact, but don't love too much any coin it's my logic.

I don't want to mention but I have lost many btc just one coin. Just think it will go more up and didn't sold. In a result price dropped 4X. So I want to say don't love any coin, just sale when you are in profit and go another coin or wait for drop price again and buy it. It's very difficult to recover once drop an Altcoin. One more thing, don't invest your all fund on single coin. It will loss more, who know it will up or drop.

The problem with altcoins is that most of them are just pump-and-dump scheme. And since we entered a bearish trend, every activity now and easily spotted that's why majority have lost their love affair with them just like what you're describing.

I wouldn't say though that we need to 'love' it, we don't need emotional attachment, but rather logical and a well planned trading strategy specially in this kind of market we have been witnessing so far.
9408  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin price breaking lows again and again on: December 15, 2018, 02:46:53 PM
bitcoin price are breaking lows again and again  i cant see any signs of bulls entering markets in charts and already Christmas and this year is ending i think still bears will be in control for some more days , but i am still hopping for a bull run soon  and holding my coins  Sad

Don't expect something big to happen just because we're in the Christmas holiday. This year was a complete opposite of what we have seen last year. No more bull runs and yes its likely that the bears will be in control till the early part of next year. What you can do is accept the fact so that you won't get disappointed. Others take advantage of the situation by purchasing cheap coins, while majority continue to HODL as long as they can.
9409  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency users statistics on: December 15, 2018, 01:36:42 PM
I really don't know how the guys pull off this kind of data from exchanges, did they just emailed them saying I need information, please provide this blah blah blah. So I'm doubtful about the statistics being shown in the study, why is China still there and where's Japan and South Korea? So I'm really doubtful of the said data and it looks like this is just a click-bait article with nothing to offer, sorry.
9410  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Somebody sended me weird MMS.I think that person wanted to hack me!! on: December 15, 2018, 12:52:30 PM
Hi there I have received couple days ago and there was file for download so it is probably virus from somebody who want to hack my mobile phone to stole my money or?I saw mobile phone from that person mobile phone so I can easy get information from which person is that mobile phone or where it is now?Or that was some professional hacker and nobody cant figer out who wanted to hack me  Huh

When in doubt then don't go download. Or the best recourse is to delete that messages you got, because it come from untrusted source. No need to figure out if that message comes from professional hacker or what, it's better to be safe than sorry.
9411  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will be the possible outcome if bitcoin still continue to depreciate? on: December 15, 2018, 12:28:47 PM
That will be a question if what will happen if bitcoin continue its fall of price? What will be the impact to the investors and traders?

For obvious reasons, investors or traders are going to lose a lot of money if the market continued its free fall. There might be a scenario that some big bagholders chooses to exit as this point who knows.

There might be a lot of questions whether WB is really right is calling bitcoin a poison rat and I'm sure that those people who are attacking bitcoin right now will say "I told you so". LMAO. However, for those purist (which is majority of people here), this is the best time to invest and look for the long haul. So let's hope that everyone will have that mind set and wait till another bull run happen sometime in the future.
9412  Economy / Marketplace / Re: $1 Billion Dollar’s Worth of Cryptocurrency Stolen in 2018 on: December 15, 2018, 12:05:29 PM
Scam or hack in crypto is part of investment like that's the risk so if you going to make a site better for you to consult the best developer that can activate good security because anytime they can really scam or hack you in an instant then like in trading site if that happen there no one will trust you anymore and that's why users will not use that then you will force to close that,Moreover as a users use hardwallet and we have many trusted site here
Scam and hack are two different things. All of the stolen cryptocurrencies from different exchanges were hacked not scammed. You can easily avoid scams if you are aware and cautious on the things you do online. Hacks are unavoidable online but they can be stopped by setting up certain wallets that have several security layers. Even air gapped wallets which is considered to be one of the most secured wallet can be hacked.

Source of the OP (for those who want to read the entire article) :
https://www.ccn.com/1-billion-dollars-worth-of-cryptocurrency-stolen-in-2018/
https://blockexplorer.com/news/biggest-cryptocurrency-hacks-2018/

Even John McAfee's 'unhackable' Bitfi wallet was hacked twice so no one is safe is this market. I really thought that crypto enthusiast are getting very smarter but it seems that its not because of so many hacked because majority chooses to put a lot of money in exchanges.

I guess the hackers will always be on step ahead of the game and this will be a continues mouse and cat game for exchanges to be very vigilant and tighten their security to avoid such exploits. And let this report be a eye opener not just for exchanges but for all involved in crypto to just be careful with the money, specially huge money involved.
9413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Campaigns. on: December 15, 2018, 11:42:10 AM
Ever since the market went red, have you guys received any tokens from the bounty campaigns you have joined? In my case, I haven't received any and I've asked the devs of the projects that I have participated in and they told me that they are following their roadmap and focusing on their product. Are you in the same situation as me?

I cannot answer you directly because I'm not into bounty campaigns, but here's my thoughts. Maybe the project is not giving out the bounty because of (1) legal actions, meaning they're very careful specially campaign participants who is on a restricted nation (2) they're afraid that giving out tokens will mean a huge dump on their tokens, rendering it useless (3) not yet on a trading platform (4) scam projects.

I'm not sure about the roadmap though excuse though, because I'm sure that along the line their token distribution is in their roadmap so they should have airdrop everything specially if its scheduled.
9414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Biggest Rises and Falls of Bitcoin on: December 15, 2018, 11:20:12 AM
But past history says that bitcoin always end the year with a bang, but it looks this year is very different. So I guess its really hard to look at its past history because the market is still in its infancy and sample that we can deduce from is also small. Although we all now that the price can't go on parabolic rise and we can also say that the price won't go on a long bearish trend. Sooner or later we will see a good bounce, that's for sure.

9415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Canelo Alvarez vs Rocky Fielding fight predictions on: December 15, 2018, 11:00:31 AM
This is a careful and calculated match making. They chooses the weakest amongst the super MW champ which is Fielding. This is similar to Manny going up in weight classes and facing Diaz and I don't see why Canelo will not win this fight. I'm sure that if Alvarez win this fight, he won't stay at 168 for good because there's a lot of legitimate contenders in that division.
9416  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HODL IS THE BEST OPTION FOR ME NOW on: December 13, 2018, 11:59:08 PM
HODL is the best option now for all my altcoins.

That's great.

I will keep Hodling till the bearish market is over. Everyone was thinking that bull run will start toward the end of the year, instead, there is a consistent reduction in price. Let keep hodling next year will get better for everyone.

I agree that majority is thinking that a massive bull run will happen in the last quarter of the year. But if you're going to observed we have been stuck in the $6K range meaning the bulls is still very weak and when this all of Bitcoin Cash drama enter the picture, the whole outlook has change.

I want to know what you feel, is there still hope for the remaining 18 days before the year end?

No, we're going to witness their trend up to the end of the year and first couple of months of next year, sad to say. So I guess we can't do anything right now but to HODL on our coins and hope that Q2 next year will be different.
9417  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: upcoming crypto conferences on: December 13, 2018, 11:30:54 PM
Found this list a little late, but good list of awesome events

https://www.strictlycrypto.com/upcoming-crypto-conferences-you-need-to-attend/

Actually, there's a lot of blockchain conferences going around the world specially in Asia. There was one recently held in Bangkok, Thailand and obviously they high lighted major Asian countries who's very friendly to crypto and even invited a lot of Asian's CEO as key speaker and also has given blockchain projects awards to really push the boundaries of Blockchain Technology specially in Asian region.
9418  Economy / Economics / Re: How to wake up a bear? on: December 13, 2018, 10:51:59 PM
Friends, what are you doing now, when the market situation continues to deteriorate, in your opinion how to take advantage of such a serious decline in order to win at least something? Did you manage to wake up the bear and get at least a small profit? Have you bought any coins in the hope of growth in the new year? I  am only waiting for the market to wake up.
You mean bear or bull?

You clearly stated about price increase or wake up thing which it do mentioned about "Bulls". For now we wont able to say what thing can able to triggered out the next bull run.
If we can remember clearly even positive news of this years doesnt really have any affect at all on the current market condition.

And now more negative news comes our way today, https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/wave-bomb-threats-causes-evacuations-anxiety-nationwide-n947671
https://abcnews.go.com/US/bomb-threats-demanding-bitcoin-funds-reported-country-authorities/story?id=59805500
https://nypost.com/2018/12/13/fake-bomb-threats-nationwide-were-part-of-bitcoin-export-plot/

So again, we are moving further away and it means that bull won't show up this year. So it going to be mentality tough for everyone to stay in the market and wait for the bulls to come. But as the saying goes, patience wins all the time so I hope people can wait a bit longer for months and see whether the bulls wrestled this market from the bears.
9419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dozens of bomb threats by ‘Bitcoin scammers’ hit several US states on: December 13, 2018, 10:23:34 PM
Those creating this hysteria might have been taking pages from this one, https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/apr/24/israel-michael-kadar-jewish-centre-bomb-threats.

At this point, we don't need this kind of publicity stunt, the market is suffering already, and this kind of news will put bitcoin in bad limelight and I'm sure that we will see another round of negative impact to the market.
9420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Aren't we killing the market ourselves? on: December 12, 2018, 11:44:50 PM
Most people are here complaining about the dip in crypto and asking when the market is going to recover, yet they are the same people busily dumping all their holdings hard on exchanges. Who should continue holding and stabilize the market for you? Don't be a selfish investor.

Well this market is free, open for everyone so its going to be difficult to say others to stop dumping their tokens or coins and I wouldn't call them a selfish investors themselves. It is what it is, others buy in dip, but majority sell their tokens to get a reward. The market will recover itself, we might point fingers to others specially the whales, but with no central authority who manages everything, you can do anything you want here, just saying. What we need is something positive that will make the investors pour their money again.
