But I don't count McGregor out... Mayweather is obviously the better box tho.
I am not interested in this fight to know whether who the better boxer is,i am watching this fight to know whether McGregor could shock the entire world in this fight,i was not a fan of McGregor and lost a lot of bets and the one time i wagged a bet for McGregor is when he lost to Nate,i waited till the first round to place a bet and i saw him kicking Nate and placed a bet,so overall i made some huge losses with this single individual. I want to see whether he could knock Floyd out and create history, everyone in the world knows he wont outbox Floyd . What Conor can do is ridicule Floyd in the ring, hurt his pride and the boxing fans' pride. If that happens and Conor loses, he still makes it look like a win, not only for himself, but also for MMA. It will make boxing look like a boring and dying sport.

New spoiler for season 7. I will not post the spoiler itself here to give you a choice if you want to continue reading or not. One thing I can say is, no one is safe in the Game of Thrones. Not even the odds favorite to rule them all by the end the series. With just only a few weeks away from season 7's airing, fans can't help but feel anxious as to what fate awaits their beloved characters once the season starts airing this July. The latest trailer highlights Sansa Stark (played by Sophie Turner) in a different way.
In the trailer, Sansa can be seen walking towards the camera while Petyr "Little Finger" Baelish (Aidan Gillen) speaks in the background. Jon Snow (Kit Harington) was just recently crowned the new King of the North by the northerners themselves, and after Sansa exacted revenge on the ruthless Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon) by feeding him to his hounds, it looked like the fiery-haired character was ready to take the sidelines and let her half-brother lead them. Next time post the link and at least a summary of the story. In order to be willing to enter into this world, regulatory authorities will likely need reassurance that risks including cyberattacks, money-laundering, and terrorism support can be mitigated without harming the innovative progress of the digital currency world. To do this, the authors believe that regulators might need to increase their attention on activities and that governance will need to be strengthened. If all of these things take place, the IMF authors believe that banks could integrate cryptocurrencies successfully.http://www.investopedia.com/news/imf-blockchain-banks-invest-cryptocurrency-blockchain/The IMF will have their hands full if they want to regulate the use of cryptocoins with the intention of also encouraging its use. There are 3 items that should be maintained for a coin to be successful. They are privacy, immutablity and it should be allowed to flow freely without borders. Mitigating the criminal use of cryptcoins will require the regulators to take away those items.

If it is better for Civic then I do not blame him. I do not know why a lot of people praise Ethereum. It is the most risky platform to make a dapp in because it has yet made the switch to POS which requires a hard fork. In case some of you did not know, a hard fork in the cryptospace is very risky because of chain splits. It already happened once, it could happen again.

@Febo. I am not talking about the price. I am talking about the instability of Aeon itself. This is the second time that Bittrex has stopped deposits and withdrawals this year because of problems with the protocol. We are not even sure what really happened, and there are some insinuations of a 51% attack on Reddit.
It may lead some holders to doubt the stability of the coin and some may decide to dump them.

after hitbtc started to receive aeons yesterday, the price dropped from 30k to 15k, so be careful on bittrex, it probably will hit the ground as well!
All my AEONs beside 3 i mined last week are on Bittrex for many many months. So what should I be worried about? Their number will halve? what please tell me. I think he means the price will fall extremely as high as falling by 50% in value once deposits are back again in Bittrex. His reasoning is there will be a lot of people who will want to cashout from Aeon now because of its instability.

@cjmoles. Just because Conor is not known for his ground game, it does not mean that he has not trained in Jiu Jitsu for years during his MMA career. There is also the kicking game. I do not think Floyd will last 1 round with Conor in the octagon. Floyd cannot dodge and weave leg kicks. He will not be able to stand up after 1 round of those.
That is only if McGregor can avoid the pounding. McGregor does have a ground game, that's for sure, but he is not known for winning a lot of his fights by taking the game to the floor....Mayweather has hands and it don't take too many to end a fight quickly, right? I'd give the edge to McGregor in the octagon, but I'd take Mayweather for the money! In the octagon it is Floyd who should avoid any pounding. The gloves are smaller so there is no hiding behind them like what Floyd is doing in boxing. He cannot dodge leg kicks, he also cannot dodge elbows and knees during clinches. Every weakness Floyd has will be exposed in the octagon. I would also say Amanda Nunes can beat Floyd in the octagon.

Amazing, Lewis Hamilton(32 years old) said yesterday that there is a possibility to retire from the F1 at the end of this season. He has a contract with the Mercedes until 2018 but there is a clause that allows him to leave the Mercedes in 2017. He said he wanted to be remembered as a great pilot like Ayrton Senna.
I think he will hardly retire so soon, and I would not be surprised if one day he will drive the Ferrari
Fernando Alonso was asked about it recently since it could potentially mean that he becomes a Mercedes pilot, since the teams dont want Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso together since they are too competitive and it could be a disaster (even if teams don't admit it, that is the case) maybe we see him in a winning team again. He said teams are making moves that we don't expect... Mercedes is more interested in Sebastian more than Fernando if Lewis retires. I also do not think Lewis will drive for Ferrari. There is only one team he will drive for after Mercedes, and that is back to McClaren. His heart have always been with his former team. It is where he grew up and where he wants to retire.

How will Ethereum's inability to scale affect Civic's longterm plans? The rate of increase of ICOs that is using Ethereum as their backbone would only mean things will get worse. Are you then willing to use Ethereum classic? That could be the trend in the coming months.
|
|
|
This might be a win for the original chain, Ethereum classic. Ethereum's blockchain has already been abused and bloated enough that exposes it to its own and worse scalability problems. If Visa wants to use it as their testnet to deploy their own experiments, they are most welcome.

This does not look good for Sebastian. If he fails to win the world driver's championship for this year then I speculate he might move to another team, specifically Mercedes. Some fans may not like it, but it could be entertaining to see Lewis and Sebastian on the same cars.

Lucky kid but it is not a good example for other 12 year old kids to follow. Now that he has less pressure financially in his life, he should set out to finish school and get a degree. What is a million dollars if you have an empty head resting on your shoulders?

@iamTom123. The easiest way for the FBI and the SEC to start cracking down on ICOs and all other cryptcoins is to start seizing the exchanges based in the US like Poloniex and Bittrex in order to stop all trading. Everything will start falling down from there for the cryptocoin users in the US, discouraging them from doing speculative investments. The next step would be to come after the known people behind the biggest ICOs.
|
|
|
I speculate that 2018 will be the year of the government intervention on everything that has been going on in the world of cryptocoins. Drug trafficking and money laundering is the main agenda, but this might be only the beginning. The question of the legality of ICOs is next. Big names will go to jail. But before that happens, I expect the biggest exit scams among the most funded ICOs. They will need the funds to pay for lawyers. The FBI is requesting $21m and 80 new employees in a bid to investigate emerging tech that could help the agency combat cybercrime.
In a budget request for fiscal year 2018, sent on 21st June, Andrew McCabe, acting director of the FBI, testified to the White House that the agency is facing what it believes are significant challenges in gaining access to digital information – even when it has the legal authority to do so. This notably includes cases that involve "drug traffickers using virtual currencies to obscure their transactions".
It is also the same narrative that the FBI's former Director James Comey put forth last month before the Senate Judiciary Committee.Read in full http://www.coindesk.com/illicit-cryptocurrency-use-targeted-proposed-2018-fbi-budget/

What's the latest news on the blockchain reorg and what is the status on the fix? Smooth is very busy and has not posted in the thread since Bittrex suspended deposits and withdrawals. Maybe the problem is much bigger than we thought?

@Herbert2020. Why did GDAX remove the buy orders before it could lock the sell orders? Why not suspend trading immediately on both the buy side and the sell side if they were so concerned?
Is the volume in GDAX that thin for this to happen?
|
|
|
@paramind22. Why are you planning to sell? It is a good time to hold. Aeon development is not finished yet and we have yet to see what is coming in the future. One possibility is it might follow Monero and become one of the most valuable cryptocoins.

|
|
@pereira4. If Conor breaks Floyd's legacy enough to make him look like a fool then we might see another fight between the 2. There is also the possibility of Conor having luck on his side and knocking out Floyd.
Conor is not doing this for only 1 fight. He wants to make as much money as he can out of Floyd.

New trailer released today: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Mlhnt0jMlgLots of new epic scenes and cool stuff. Many people are predicting that Sansa will kill Littlefinger. Seems like Jon and Daenerys are most likely to "win" in game of thrones. Yes! I just saw it! From the scenes, I speculate that Tyrion will rule in Casterly Rock and get what is rightfully his. Jamie has forfeited this birth right by joining the king's guard. @hatshepsut93. I disagree that Sansa will kill Littlefinger. Arya will and she will act as Littlefinger to manipulate the people around her. for Jon and Daenerys, yes that might be true. But you know how this series works, there is always a twist in the last part.
