9461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After 2018 slump, Will bounties Die now ? on: October 29, 2018, 07:56:49 AM
If bounty does not exist in crypto we might see crypto price volume to make a drastic drop. As bounty is one thing that is special where you can put in just some minimal effort to works like investment. We will see many hunters leave the maket and slowly crypto users will follow due to low volume.

Guys like you really need to go back to the drawing board and do a bit of history reading. Are you really one of those who believes that bounty hunters were the ones responsible for crypto price and volume to spike during the bull run? Influencers like McAfee have their effect for sure. Hate him so much but people listen to him.

But bounty hunters who spew nonsense 10 times a day for 20 different projects? You actually believe people buy crypto because of them?
9462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: October 28, 2018, 11:32:12 AM
Over 2.5 goals looks like the favorite bet for a lot of us it seems, but I got killed on last night's games with so few goals in  of 2 the games I picked: Wolves, Leicester. Only Liverpool managed to win, but I only chose Over 3.5 @1.89, should have gone Over 4.5 for 2.8 but it's always risky to bet for 5 goals even if it's City or Liverpool.

So today, definitely bet on Arsenal scoring at least 1, and Spurs City for sure at least 1 goals each.
9463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀🚀 MORASPACE | Space Invasion Blockchain Game 🚀🚀 on: October 28, 2018, 10:22:22 AM
The name of the ANN thread looks very exciting. Space Invasion is not a typical topic for a blockchain game. But what really lacks here is a link to the official website! I suppose the game is not launched yet, but it would make more sense to wait until then before announcing it. Anyway, why don't you tell us more about the game? Is it based on eth blockchain? If yes, are all payments handled automatically via smart contracts? Is there perhaps some innovative way of using blockchain that your company offers (not merely as a means of monetization)? You do sound promising, since it's not a typical dice/poker/roulette casino, but you need to work more on your presentation. Good luck!

I think the game started out as a space invasion game (which we all know about as an arcade game). But I think if you follow the thread, it has changed to a small ETH contract based lottery... which I think will always struggle to attract people. The only lottery I play is from freebitcoin, I tried a few others (pay to buy) and was not happy with results. Sure, I never won the freebitcoin one, but it's free and I get some small BTC from playing it all the time.

$34 dollars at last jackpot wasn't won either, and 2 months later the site comes back with an ANN. Let's see if it's worth anything.
9464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: October 28, 2018, 09:21:03 AM
Anyone else think El Classico will be 0-0 this game? Under 2 goals looks quite a nice bet to make, since we don't have the main goalscorers of last few seasons who are normally fired up to win. I still think Barcelona will win this, but it all depends on how the first half goes. If they both play cautious, which I think will happen, and half time is 0-0, then we maybe get 1 Luiz Suarez goal at the end or just nothing. Espanyol will be of course hoping Barcelona lose, and I admit it would be nice to see a new team lead the Spanish league!
9465  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: October 28, 2018, 08:14:49 AM
Actually, I don't know or understand what the problem is. This is a faucet site and casino. I do remember my IP being restricted a long time ago, in fact my IP gets me in trouble quite a lot, but I deposited and took the problems away. Withdrawals honored no problem.

Same as at other casinos, my IP have been blocked or banned. But after contacting, I get it unblocked normally. Only ONE casino here insisted that I was trying to cheat them, but they still let me withdraw all my money and I never played there again. A bit of a hassle but can't help my IP, because it is a computer that doesn't belong to me.

What I'm saying here is. If your issue is real, admins here and most crypto casinos pay attention and allow it.
9466  Other / Archival / Re: 🎲 Livecasino.io - 📢 GET READY FOR SUNDAY SPECIAL OFFER on: October 28, 2018, 08:03:17 AM
Hey OP, just noticed this thread here. Live games not really my style, mainly due to computer and connection requirements are too low. I can only play properly on week days too, actually (again because of computer access). But bonuses I can't ignore and 10x does seem like a very reasonable requirement;) Will check back on Tuesday to see if there are any bonuses available. Any limits or special restrictions on what we can't use to complete rollover?
9467  Economy / Gambling / Re: MyDiceBot - Cross-Platform | Multi-Script-Language | Multi-Site | Multi-Strategy on: October 27, 2018, 08:15:39 PM
As eternalgloom says, I think we're all very happy you decided to go full open source and free to use/modify. Interesting that you chose 999dice as your first functional site to use, is there a reason you chose that above other sites?

Do add BitDice to your list - a lot of users, also one of the oldest names in the dice business, and growing with a lot of users especially with updates due to be released any time now.

Thanks for your feedback and support.

why 999dice
  • we need one site with clear API and document to implement our software and verify all basic high level functions, such as auto/script betting logic, charts showing, statistics syncing, lua embedded, etc.
  • it's listed on the 1st place at the official site of seuntjie dicebot. we treat seuntjie dicebot as a teacher to learn from.
  • it has API document and easy to implement.
  • we avoid to test on a site without API and document, it may cost us too much time to GUESS the API and parameters

BitDice
  • OK, we will add it in our list.
  • And we also will check if there is API available on site for us to easy integrate with.
  • Wish you the best the ICO of BitDice successful.

Thanks again for your feedback and support.

Thank you for the response. As others said, it is good to have a competitor or at least an alternative to Seuntje, and extremely good of you to acknowledge the #1 dice bot in the industry which everyone of us who plays dice has used Smiley

If you need the documentation from BitDice, you can always ask in their thread (from my signature) they will surely help you out. And oh, they don't have an ICO, it was already completed and was and is a success Smiley

Welcome to bitcointalk dicing community!

27th is here, won't be able to properly check or play online until Tuesday it seems though as Monday I'm not working and only come to my gambling computer on Tuesday, so I should expect the new update to be in place by that time! Site is still up at moment so I guess I'll conveniently miss the downtime and update, good luck to everyone for the wagering contest. Watch this space, new players;)

9470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Blockchain Tokens for Casino on: October 27, 2018, 08:21:52 AM
Most established casinos with their own business and clientele would already have their own tokens, in addition to loyalty features built in to the casino. BitDice for example already has their CSNO tokens, which holders have the benefit of sharing in casino profits every quarter, in addition to them being liquid on exchanges for trading.

I suppose if you yourself get a string of casinos to sign up, it might be worth something, but they would all have to somehow connect to blockchain I guess for those calculations of wager amounts? Not feasible for a blockchain not many use I think (Ardor).
9471  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sportsbook Without a License on: October 26, 2018, 04:28:07 PM
Hmm... serious process of legalization and regulation of the gambling markets started relatively recently, so no wonder that some sportsbooks/casinos had no licence and could work like that. And nowadays, even though they all can cheat players, I still prefer to play at licensed casinos/sportsbooks.

I'm the complete opposite. I only play at crypto casinos and sportsbooks, and I think only 1 of them is licensed, or maybe not at all (I can't really be bothered). Have I been cheated at casinos? Yes. Have they been licensed? Yup! And did the license help me when I tried to claim my funds? Good luck, they never helped me.

Trust in crypto is a strange thing. Like on this forum, you can trust DT1 members... but it still doesn't guarantee anything. Same as crypto casinos. They can work well for 5 years and scam one day. Just to be safe, gamble, withdraw, and be done.
9472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investigation: 12 of 22 Sites agreed to publish paid content without disclaimer on: October 26, 2018, 04:05:23 PM
OP is right. In many newspapers also you will clearly see a section where the articles are "sponsored" and it is marked sponsored content. Even for articles where people don't pay but the articles are clearly not in public interest but simply advertorials, then the section is marked under "advertorials". So you will still read the articles but seldom find anything negative, but it's not a problem because then we know, these are just "advertising" or "promotions".

They should get fined if so.
9473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbook/Casino Owner "5Dimes Tony" found dead after ransom was paid in BTC on: October 26, 2018, 02:30:48 PM
Well, it is risky to act like than in any part of the world, who knows whom you might annoy. And no bodyguards? that's a bit reckless, don't you think? Now, if it was someone in the family... that's another thing.

Comes with the territory I guess. I don't think you get called "5dimes tony" for being under the radar and I don't think you get wealthy like that for not talking up yourself every day in the industry. But yeah, these types of cases usually connected to family or business acquaintances. Never good to hear it like that, and yet another bad name for BTC, just because it was used to pay the ransom.

Damn news people keep picking up clickbait.
9474  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are we still "Early Adopters"? on: October 26, 2018, 01:51:32 PM
Considering how low the price is, the number of tech giants studying about the blockchain, and the unending hearing by the government agencies and lots others. I can comfortably say that we are early adopters since the vast majority of the public are still wondering if this is a bubble as been erroneously alleged by some selfish expert.

I agree that the price is low now. In spite of that, I don't think we are early adopters. If we are early adopters, then what about those who bought bitcoin at 1 dollar or mined many bitcoins easily usong a laptop?

I don't understand what price has to do with anything. You have coins that are years old and still never reach any certain price. You have fiat currencies that people use everywhere and yet their value goes down year after year. Heard of the US dollar? The later you "get in" on USD, the cheaper it is every day. Early adopters of US dollar bought it at very high prices, don't you think.

Anyway, pointless to ask this question and get in only if you're early adopters. Ask those who thought they were too late in 2012, 2014, 2016.
9475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pay for picks? on: October 25, 2018, 01:45:58 PM
First time I've seen anyone asking to send Bitcoin to burn addresses. Sounds like a "good" way to keep ensuring supply is burnt forever, even if forever doesn't exist in crypto!

But yeah, I don't know why anyone would pay for picks when there are plenty to choose from, especially when paid tipsters often show a lot of losses after a while. In the end it's just luck. I will say from what I can see is that those who do well don't seem to advertise very much, happy to earn from their loyal base of customers.
9476  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: October 25, 2018, 11:50:12 AM
Liverpool will be playing against Red Star Belgrade at the stadium of Anfield today in the Uefa Champions League, this is a match that Liverpool would surely want to claim all the 3 points, I believe with the quality of the players playing in Liverpool, they would easily be able to beat Red Star Belgrade in front of their home fans today, the odds payout on Liverpool to win the match in full time might be low, but I would still place a bet on it and I hope Liverpool will not disappoint me today.

It was something like 1.05 on Liverpool, so I never take those odds, and handicap 2.5 seemed too big for me to make 19/10 odds, but I should have gone for it. It's just Liverpool haven't played very well, wasn't confident they'd score more than 2 (or maybe 3 but let in 1). Barcelona at 1.5 was better, which I took.

Surprisingly Arsenal tonight is 1.9 but maybe because they find it hard to score away. Chelsea you have to bet Total Goals over 4 to get 1.9 so also too risky, considering Hazard is injured.
9477  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What places do you do your shopping online ? on: October 25, 2018, 11:12:47 AM
Which country is it that accepts Bitcoin for Groupon? Or how do you give rebate for that? I purchase some things from Groupon depending on the offers, usually for devices pre-order or even for travel tickets. Most recently I used it for World Cup stickers, but I've always been asked to pay by card or bank transfer. Never saw a Bitcoin option. Can anyone show me how to use BTC for Groupon?
9478  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What are some relatively passive ways to increase cryptocurrency holdings? on: October 25, 2018, 09:05:13 AM
You'll find several opportunities other than mining which actually, in my opinion, isn't really passive, as any miner can tell you, it's almost a full time job really because you always have to monitor and maintain. First thing that comes to mind is investment in casino bankrolls, there are several which offer the chance.

Others like BitDice (in my signature) you can buy the native tokens that are linked to profit sharing every quarter. That's truly passive but of course carries a risk like all investments.

9480  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: October 16, 2018, 04:00:06 AM
Enth, people show you the math, you have to learn to accept it. A 0.06% chance means you can see this happening 1 in 1667 times. You know how EASY that actually is especially on autobet? I can roll about 100 in less than a min, so if I roll an hour, I would definitely see this happen several times

You actually admit it yourself. You said "almost impossible", and you said "94% chance to win".

You want to see 94% chance to win losing bets everyday? Check sportsbooks and see 1.01 odds teams lose.

That's really the whole point of gambling, anything can and will happen. It's a bit sad to see people like Enth that can't grasp the basics like that.

Exactly! They are so happy to take winnings when they win, and god imagine if they win some million dollar jackpot that they will ever question the improbability of it. But when the more likely outcome happens (which is they eventually lose) then they get so angry and question the nature of logic.

We all gamble, knowing that it is more likely to lose, than to win big. But that's part of the appeal. To somehow make it when we're supposed not to. And that's sort of the beauty of it too!
