9521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Promising low market cap altcoins on: July 15, 2020, 02:19:50 PM
I don't find most of them to be promising coins but there's only one coin that caught my eye and that is Cartesi. Too many good news awaits for those who likes to have Cartesi, I didn't invested on it but I appreciate that there are good news that's happening to it.
Most of the good news that I've searched about them are written in Bahasa Indonesia so if you want to keep pushing for that coin, I guess it's ok and read those articles translated.
9522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto cards for USDT/Tether on: July 15, 2020, 01:36:23 PM
There's the recent card made by Binance, the Binance card. But why is it that USDT is your favorite coin? I don't think that's a relevant coin to be your bias and favorite. Btw, see the details about Binance card.

9523  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we headed for 250k btc in 12-18 months? on: July 15, 2020, 12:55:09 PM
It is possible that Bitcoin price reach $250k, but it will soon after that drop under $100k. Also I would speculate that more possible time frame is 24 months and not 12-18.
The same pattern as it did with its past all time highs. $250k is such a huge amount to think of and IIRC, there's one famous crypto guy that has predicted this, Tim Draper.
2017 Bullrun had made this person become famous as he perfectly projected it but I don't think he gonna be right again this time. $250k is really high and never in mind to think we can reach it, maybe $50k is close to reality than this. However, it was him to project and give his optimistic speculation (and I believe we all that the same) and it's up to us to draw any conclusions as anyone can make their opinion as well. But just to say that it looks impossible and never have to expect for it.
Let's give him the credits if he actually made it last time but this time, a lot of doubts and they are not pushing us to believe them that the price will go exactly as $250k. I'm part of those people that are waiting for the all time high and if it suddenly appears, I'm glad to see that but if it didn't, that's what I'm expecting. But the given timeframe of Tim is longer than what @OP is predicting, it's earlier. This is a waiting game.

9525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance Card Launches in Europe on: July 14, 2020, 04:07:28 PM
Binance is impressive, as far as I can tell, this card that they are launching can be used the same as our bank cards for spending habits. In any shops where the card can be used. They are making it happen for those that are not yet convinced of using cryptocurrencies for spending.
And having that said, it's just the beginning of their expansion. Once they have this card in all of the continents, that's a very successful application of crypto thru the use of cards. I can't wait to have it in our region.
9526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Telegram bots strategy to scam airdrop participants on: July 14, 2020, 02:54:25 PM
I have not encountered this but IIRC this scam happened too in the past like 2016-2017. Those were the times when ICOs emerging and a lot of projects were being loved by the investors.
Airdrops that asked for the gas fee and they'll eventually send the tokens right away. So this scam has been existing before and they are renewing it for those victims that still don't know it exists.
9529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin market continues to gain momentum on: July 13, 2020, 10:04:26 AM
It's been a long time since that run of Ethereum from $170 to $240. I think if you're pointing the momentum of the altcoins that are pumping lately, there are many of them or use the CMC's gainers and losers.

9530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: July 13, 2020, 08:22:11 AM

There is more to it.
We just lose one of the best reporter in ESPN for NBA.
https://sports.yahoo.com/esp-ns-adrian-wojnarowski-apologizes-for-sending-profane-email-to-missouri-senator-184117968.html
He did something wrong. I don't know what happened to him. Is he drunk or something?
It's difficult when you are one of the popular guys and says something a normal person would only do.
I can say the same but it won't mean anything. But if you are Woj then its a big deal.

It's profit against principles.
Patriotism against money.
Houston Rockets will take a big hit in this collision.

Oh, another issue. I'm not really updated with these issues that's coming out. But this could be big deal although not going to affect the entire league.

This should be tackled and be answered as precise as how the commissioners will handle this issues, players
freedom to express will surely influenced the fans.
And that's what they're looking at and we will see how they will answer the letter. I haven't seen if there's an update or if there will be, I will post it again here.
9531  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Warning: Another ETH Based Investment Scheme on: July 13, 2020, 07:38:52 AM
Tsk.
9532  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: July 11, 2020, 05:49:35 PM
I didn't know that there are social issues that the jerseys of NBA players are currently facing. It's hot on the news and I've just read the article about it. And it's hotter since there's a senator that wrote a letter to NBA Comm. Adam Silver.

9533  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: July 11, 2020, 04:41:39 PM
Ah, perfect. I just checked this thread to see if anybody had used this feature yet as I use Grab all the time. Glad to see that there's no fee.

Then I just have one more question: do you guys know if M Lhuillier is open on Sundays? I know here the LBCs are closed on Sundays, don't know if its because of covid or if its always like that. Thanks.
In my area, they are open so it's better to check the branch close to you regarding their schedule on their website.

or you can ask that and chat with their representative thru their FB page (https://www.facebook.com/mlhuillier.official/).
I once chatted them with my concern and they responded.  Smiley
9534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: A mixer based on smart contracts? on: July 11, 2020, 03:48:13 PM
Plausible. With all of the projects that's been done through Ethereum, consistent developers can make this happen. What if Vitalik is just going step by step and this is already on their plans for future updates and they're doing it once step at a time?
If they can create or be par with Monero's privacy through that mixer, that can be one big thing for Ethereum. Well, that's an 'if'.
9535  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: July 11, 2020, 02:59:28 PM
Hi guys update ko lang kayo na puwede na magtop up ng GrapPay points via Coins.Ph, just tried it and ayun pasok na siya. Mas madali ng makapag lagay for grap pay points and no need credit card. Same like paymaya and gcash na puwedeng pambili ng grab points.
9536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Casinos are open - end of the Pandemic era. on: July 10, 2020, 02:33:32 PM
Maybe other non-essential businesses are opened too?
Well, I don't consider most games in typical physical casinos as part of essentials. Their enclosed nature makes it even more risky. I would just have the good/safe ones outside or in well ventilated areas rather than opening up for business in enclosed space.
They could be essential in terms of contribution to the economy and it's Las Vegas, we know what's the main business in that area, it's the casinos so that could not be essential as we speak.
But geographically and logical speaking, they could be essential for the people who resides there who are mostly relying to gambling and casinos.
9537  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Kudos to Bitcasino.io on: July 10, 2020, 04:06:38 AM
Hi guys,

It would be a bit of an overkill with PR moves if we arranged this one. After hard work on LAngels case we've got plenty of positive feedback and the negativity this case gave to us at first glance has turned into positivity and it has strengthened the trust towards our brand in this community, which we're truly thankful Smiley

Cheers,
Karl
Bitcasino.io
Thank you for clarifying that. You guys are good and how you handled the disappointment of OP and turned the table in favor to him. Sure, you have made him happy and he'll treat it that he's being taken care well by you guys.
The thread has already served its purpose.  Smiley
9538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Philippines SEC warns against crypto investment. on: July 10, 2020, 03:39:23 AM
People who're really in need of money can be easily blinded by money. So the fact that they are earning money through referrals, they will defend it and we can't blame them because they're earning through it. The problem is, they didn't know about cryptocurrency and the first thing that came to them is the networking type of investment. Unlike us, who have proper knowledge about cryptocurrency or any investment that can easily determine if it's a Ponzi. Ponzi scheme nowadays is using cryptocurrency as an asset to attract users.
They have been introduced to crypto in a wrong way and this scam is growing through those networks and think that it's the best strategy and idea of earning crypto.

This is what I'm pointing about, if they knew about cryptocurrency and have proper knowledge about it, it's easy to determine scams. They will definitely bite it for thinking that it's an easy money but the one whol benefits a lot on this type of model is those who are on the top and have a lot of referrals.
People just have to learn about these scams and once they become a victim of it, they won't try it again, never.

Well, that is how people in our country is. When they see people earning lots of money in an investment scheme, they will try to invest on it too hoping that they will earn what they saw on others. I'm not biting on this common way of scamming people.

I've seen lots of companies/investment schemes in social media already particularly in Facebook and I'm not entertaining every single one of them. Some of my friends also sending me a private message regarding their investment scheme. I don't give time to even seen their message to me because I know this kind of scam already.
Yeah, most of those people who stayed most of their times in social medias like Facebook and active on it all of the time. They'll take the fake opportunity that's being shared to them by a random guy that posts the screenshot of the scam.
9539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ChainLink - Sell or Hold for some more time? on: July 10, 2020, 03:01:12 AM
You bought on $1.5? congratulations to you. You're in great profit if you are asking if you can sell already. If I'm you, I'll sell since the profit you have taken from it is already a lot. The current price plays to $6 and that's a 4x to you. What do you ask for more? I suggest not to be greedy and just take the profit already and if there will be another correction, buy. Rinse and repeat the strategy that you have done with Link. The chart shows it is on the peak so possible to dump.
9540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Buying the 'Dogs' on: July 09, 2020, 01:16:55 PM
Aside from exchanges, is there a place where people list private token sales.

I am looking to acquire tokens that have little to no volume and have fallen 95-98% since ICO.
Just post on the marketplace for altcoins(https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=161.0) and tell this. I'm sure that you'll get a bunch of offers from those people that are holding these coins that barely have value.
I'm also curious what's your reason to take these coins that have almost no volume at all. Is it just going for collection purposes?
