9521  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cloudbet's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: October 07, 2018, 02:08:21 PM
Nice. Last week I put in a few 2-0 predictions and they all hit. This week 2 1-0 already hit, but I got nervous and changed Chelsea and Liverpool results now, after Arsenal scored 5. No one got a close result for Arsenal even, shows how well they beat Fulham, but feel sorry for LFC and Crwth, predicting 3-0 and still getting the same points as us who predicted 2-1.

Strange week for a lot of us, I'm lucky to get 10 points so far, it wasn't like the matches were upsets so far or anything, but maybe we went for draws? Congrats to Big G for climbing 9 ranks, and you guys are so hard to catch, especially LFC, slowly climbing up 1 or 2 spots every week.

9522  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE - 🎲🎲🎲 New Version Coming Soon! 🎰🎰🎰 on: October 07, 2018, 07:54:43 AM
Awesome news for all BitDice users, I knew we had to wait, but I didn't think we'd actually see it so soon to be honest! Me and a lot of people will be waiting to see the sportsbook, and compare odds as above was saying, but some of us who are already using BD maybe won't really mind odds differences if they are small but if there are many different lines, that could be the one thing that makes us try out the book. More competition means better odds for everyone. 13 days and counting!
9523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you remember the Dutch guy who sold his house for Bitcoin? on: October 06, 2018, 06:15:39 PM
Yeah, I read a recent update about him a few months ago on this forum actually, someone posted about him and the family, he is doing interviews and appearances and travelling with his family.

I think he was a bit reckless to be honest, but then he did everything with the agreement of his wife and family, and they are enjoying their own adventure and looking healthy, so who am I to criticize this guy right?
9524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling sites with auto-play or a place where I can use script. on: October 06, 2018, 09:45:04 AM
Why not just checkout Seuntje's dicebot script, and find out from the support documentation which sites can work with it? It's the most used dice script in crypto, and because the developer himself is active and always tweaking it, the software is pretty good and still quite customizable.

I still prefer sticking to autobet within sites though. All sites do allow it as far as I know and all allow scripts, so just go and try yourself. But ya, check Seuntje out first before you try anything else. Trusted and it works.
9525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Useless top 25 Cryptos which will not be there in 2019 on: October 06, 2018, 09:28:02 AM
You're basing arguments on technological merit, which if you know by now, doesn't really have any bearings on the crypto MARKET.

Look at Dogecoin, which people have been making fun off and saying will die for years. Where is today? Stronger than ever before.

Bitcoin Gold I agree though, was just a silly fork with absolutely no usage and no real community.

ETC? You must have been hiding under a rock to not know the ETC community is one of the most hardcore blockchain/crypto people around.
9526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cloudbet's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: October 06, 2018, 08:29:39 AM
These types of games like Brighton West Ham, I actually don't know what I'm doing either. I don't know the teams well, I don't know the managers well, so I just make random guesses, but always go for small wins favoring home side, or just draws if I see that the odds are close. I don't know these days, home games don't seem to be as predictable anymore. Sometimes the home fans pressure too much and the team plays like shit, and they have more freedom on the away games to "express" their abilities.

Anyway, I got the first game exact, so good for me. Maybe I can make another crack at yellow cap? I need one more to break into top 5 I guess. Good luck to everyone. We are all watching City beat Liverpool of course!
9527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: October 05, 2018, 12:24:37 PM
Petition to make XRP the official currency at the 2020 Olympic Games... yeah... a bit far fetched!

https://www.leaprate.com/cryptocurrency/digital-currency/this-cryptocurrency-can-be-the-official-currency-at-the-2020-olympic-games/

It would make sense for the reasons provided in the above article to have an official cryptocoin for purchases on every shop around the area, this would make things easier for everyone... for some tourists who own the coin they would skip the lines to exchange their money to Yen (probably in a bad rate) and people who would use fiat would at least wait in shorter lines.

But I think exchange of $, € and other fiat to Yen is something that would benefit Japan. Not sure if it makes any difference to their economy, but if it does then they wouldn't support any cryptocurrency.

Maybe not as far-fetched as it would seem. Sports seem to be getting on the crypto bandwagon as quick as they can, and because most of them don't really understand the difference between a true crypto project and a centralized entity like Ripple, they will actually think it's a good partnership to be associated with a big token that has many banking partnerships.

Will that make XRP rise in price? Probably not.
9528  Economy / Gambling / Re: BETKING: 500 BTC, 2250 ETH & 425 LTC Bankroll. A Fraud? on: October 05, 2018, 09:00:14 AM
I normally don't respond to game protect but I did click the link and read. My short thoughts, objective because I don't use BetKing.

1. The formula published from whitepaper is clear, that the valuation of tokens is ICO price. Arguing that value of tokens increase so people should get more means, if the value of tokens go down, should people get less? So there is no discrepancy in my mind about the formula.

2. There is no evidence of how much was spent. So yes, this is not transparent (maybe it is I don't know) but where is your proof?

3. Any casino can change their affiliate program as they wish. Did they withold payment from you for original? Sign up again, what is the problem?
9529  Economy / Gambling / Re: ThrowTheDice.net | 🎲 1% House Edge | 🎲 Online Cryptocurrency Dice Game 🎲 | on: October 05, 2018, 08:37:19 AM
Haha yes, I was wondering the same. Don't see any signs of the promo anywhere now. OP, you have had weeks to comply with the main concerns. We all want competition and welcome newcomers to the industry, we are not sick of them. Give us 10 sites we will try 10 sites.

But if you can't provide proof of funds, you'll never success in this case. Simple as that. There's no reason not to show public proof of funds. This is blockchain security. You can rely on it. Show your address, nobody will ever be able to hack it (Bitcoin anyway Wink ).

9530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Vs. Bitcoin on: October 05, 2018, 08:10:08 AM

BTC is too difficult to replace. Until there is no coin/token that has the security stronger than BTC, it will not be replaced. ETH had tried though. There is on token that is trying to set a better platform which EOS. I find potential to this one and so I hope there are more to good products for this tokens so we'll see where its heading soon. Its left behind, way behind but it could fly high too.

This itself might be the biggest selling point for anyone who wants to think long term. Here today, Bitcoin is already the favored cryptocurrency because it is the one who has achieved the most in that sense, of a CURRENCY. But all that aside, even if you assume any other token could be convincing as a currency, the security issue is the one no one can bet.

Just think, every day there is more hashpower, every day the 51% attack gets more expensive and difficult, and will eventually be recognized and people will return to the original block. No other coin can claim Bitcoin's massive security. ETH wanted to claim #2 spot, now Ripple, but these coins cannot compete even if they become #1 on CMC.
9531  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where are 0% house edge dice games at ? on: October 05, 2018, 07:40:44 AM
I think it's every casino which offers a 0% house edge must be a scam, even if they have a promotion period with limited time of profit. why someone would work without profit especially in the Gambling industry. Also, I think 1% is more than modestly and that would not be the first pick in the choice in which casino I will play.

Dont generalize like that, bitsler had 0% house edge promo in the past but were they scamming their users using the promo? Obviously NO. 0% house edge does not mean that players will always win, players will only get higher winning chances but still players are risking to lose all their money. Indeed the promo was not for long period of time, it was for an hour promo only IIRC but it was really great promo.

Yeah, if we use that logic, then for sure every +EV promotion is a scam. And every giveaway, every free gift, is a scam. It's called marketing! Promotions in gambling work to attract players for a chance to win something with the odds in their favor. The hope is that these players return or continue to play after the promotion. And a chance just means a chance. Plenty of people still end up losing with odds in their favor. The house bets on players playing long enough for variance to get them busted.
9532  Economy / Gambling / Re: Are there any gambling website which accept Monero and Tor friendly? on: October 05, 2018, 05:50:56 AM
Crypto-games as mentioned is the only site that accepts Monero for a long time, so did 999dice until recently it was taken off because of network issues with all those Monero forks. Until shapeshift changed also all sites using shapeshift you could use. duckdice uses it but they had some trust issues though people are still playing there. Same as fortunejack, but also operational still.

Problem with non clearnet casinos is they don't have good reputation. I would stick to the major clearnet sites, which you can still play through Tor.
9533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH and ICOs - Do you think that the decline of ETH price will affect ICOs? on: October 04, 2018, 10:48:51 AM
Actually, ICOs and DApps should be happy about this. Think about gas prices for starters, when ETH was at $1.3k, can you imagine how expensive it would have been to use a DApp for 1 user if he did it 10 times a day? And do you think people are more or less willing to invest ETH into ICOs when ETH was so expensive to buy? Now you can buy $2300 worth of ETH and invest 10 ETH and get bonuses. And people stocking up on ETH now means more investors ready to invest later on.

That anyway is the side issue. ETH price is today what it is mostly because of all the useless ICOs and DAPPs being put out for over 1 year. All hype and price, no value. This is literally the price to pay.
9534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: XRP and ETC Simultaneous Listing on IDCM 2018 /09/30 14:00 on: October 04, 2018, 08:09:33 AM
Weird choice of pairings to list simulatenously! ETC was the guy who didn't want or like the centralized dictatorship of ETH and caused the ETH fork. XRP is the super centralized version of crypto, with no idealists and no anarchists, just a bunch of people who know how business works and made money from it.

Don't think this doesn't mean I hate them, I bought XRP too at 30 cents. I knew it would make me some money. Shouldn't pass up opportunities in crypto speculation.
9535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where are 0% house edge dice games at ? on: October 04, 2018, 07:41:48 AM
lol Mirae, like slaman said, 1% is probably the best house edge ( or ever lower than that ) you'll find.

Otherwise www.edgeless.io It needs KYC though I'm pretty sure.

Promotions also I have seen sometimes bring house edge to 0. I believe it was BetKing or one of those big dice sites that also reduce edge as you play more?
To be honest, I don't really think it was BetKing, but I think bit-exo you can reduce your edge there. I'm not sure how you do it, never played.

At Yolodice, there is a ETH wagering contest going on, and first place is +EV,

because 1% of 756 = 7.56 ETH ( should be towards the house ) and the first place prize is 8.43 ETH at the moment.

Thanks for that clarification, I cannot remember the exact dice site, but it had a leveling system where the more you wager, the higher your level, just like at most dice sites. But instead of higher faucets, or higher rain, or higher rewards, they gave you lower dice edge. It was one of the big sites, I simply can't remember it.

Bit-Exo I played there before, I don't ever recall the house edge being lowered, but yes like I said and if you point out: wagering contests especially are how you gain +EV... the problem is you have to compete with others and if you get knocked off in final days, you screwed Wink
9536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cloudbet's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: October 04, 2018, 04:47:59 AM
Prize or no prize you did very well regardless slaman. Is that your 2nd yellow cap in our pool now?
I’m still trying to get my first one unfortunately, having lots of fun competing against you assholes though Cheesy

I’ve done by predictions for the next round of fixtures already Smiley

Thanks a lot for your comment LFC. No this was my first yellow cap, I tied for in the first round if I remember, but was second place because of global ranking. I'm having a lot of fun here, so it doesn't matter but yes yellow cap is good to hunt for top 5 highest weekly, and get the consolation prize for this pool!

And yes, I think hilarious is correct, only 1 winner per week, and this week, there were FOUR people with SEVEN exact scores, so they had to choose 1 guy from the 4 to win 650 british pounds sterling. But I don't mind getting 5 every week!
9537  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚽️💰🚀💰⚽️ Soccer bet btc.. ⚽️💰🚀💰⚽️ on: October 03, 2018, 07:50:19 AM
well at least you are the first one to tip a game that has over X7.00 odds , so people who are claiming have fixed matches are improving a little since the previous ones used to tip something 1.1-1.8 as a proof of their service  Cheesy

to be honest I like the pick that you made in terms of value , Maltaya almost win the game today so going for them or taking them handicap is solid bet
if you were a tipster I probably would like you , but no way with someone who is claiming to have fixed games

Haha, exactly my thoughts, I keep seeing all these "fixers" who claim they know everything and always buy the referee or player, but then you look at their match and it's a stupid odds where it's the favorite anyway. It costs a lot of time and money to fix a match, and it is usually just on small leagues but with big odds. How else to repay back all the lost money from bribes?

Good tipsters can pick the 3x or even 4x and 5x when they know they have full squad or full health while opponent is low form. Happens a lot for football, tennis and other team sports.
9538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where are 0% house edge dice games at ? on: October 03, 2018, 07:19:24 AM
Time to stop dreaming and understand that even the standard 1% house edge for dice is way better than any house edge you'll find in a non-Bitcoin casino. And forget about house edge in normal offline casinos.

But you should check out all the big dice casinos here. Take into account player loyalty (big faucets big rains, for example), wagering contests and other types of bonuses, and you find that 1% house edge can slowly go near to zero, if not positive.

Promotions also I have seen sometimes bring house edge to 0. I believe it was BetKing or one of those big dice sites that also reduce edge as you play more?
9539  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: HOW to 100% avoid SCAM ICOs on: October 03, 2018, 05:07:07 AM
Escrow is a good idea, but it's not 100% safety for your funds. Why?

1. Escrow could also collude with the developers. Don't just choose an escrow, choose arbitrators who decide whether or not milestones are properly met, and choose smart contract escrow, instead of 3rd party escrow.
2. If products are delivered, but not marketed, or not working as expected then what? You release full funds, as developers deliver product, but who is supposed to continue making it a success?

I know this because I participated in an ICO with escrow. I still lost 50% of my investment, because supposedly products were delivered. I can use it... but for nothing.
9540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cloudbet's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: October 02, 2018, 08:34:59 AM
Did anyone notice slaman had 6 exact scores? One more and you would have won 550 pounds! Free premier league jersey isn't too bad either!

I didn’t notice that but damn, congrats slaman. If he was from the UK & had repeated that feat on Sky Super 6 predictions he’d have won £250,000.

Wow, thanks a lot guys! I didn't notice it either because I got the email saying 5/9 and forgot there was one last match last night which I got exact 2-1. Actually I made 4 wrong predictions, and I changed the West Ham win as well as the Everton win, but also I changed others to 2-0 and all my 2-0s hit, as well as both last 2-1s, so I shouldn't complain. In Week 1 I tied highest scores, happy to get it again in Week 7, but still there are 3 people above me who got more than 19 points so every round must be fought very hard to win the top 5 of this pool.

250k buys me retirement for me and my family here haha!

No email from Superbru for my prize, too bad I support Barcelona, not sure which team to take.
