9561  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-11-06] Bitcoin Price: Crypto Market May be Poised for Bullish Breakout on: November 07, 2018, 05:18:18 AM
Wow, another bull flag formation. The words keep changing to sound like we're more sophisticated but this is just the educated version of "Bitcoin will back 2x soon" threads. I mean wow RSI plus bull flag plus Stochastic Oschillator going north. Overbought signals combining with strong buying sentiment!

Forgive me if I think this is unnecessary but this is just another example of people willing to go to a lot of trouble just to convince themselves that hey it's gonna be okay, my Bitcoin will recover.
9562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: ICO Bench, what are you doing? on: November 06, 2018, 11:53:57 AM
Nah, I don't think ICOBench even are that stupid (to do bad reviews and ask money for edits). That's basically just blackmail and anyone knows blackmail, no matter the ends, won't get you anywhere. The law is very clear on that, blackmail, like murder, crime, no matter for good or bad.

But come on guys, surely you know by now that all sites are useful for a certain limit of information, right? Get what you need, no need to have trust for all the rest of them.
9563  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲🎲 BITDICE - Wager Competition - 2 BTC Prize Pool - BTC/ETH/LTC/DOGE/CSNO 🎲🎲 on: November 06, 2018, 10:25:46 AM
A week left to the competition, not much has changed it the top 3. Damn you Akbar Wink

But as you know with all these wager comps, everyone waiting in the shadows to snipe at the last few hours! I see BoXXoB right at the top of the leaderboard now, just a little more to touch 4 BTC! rennekon seems keen to keep second place. Got to say it's not that big an amount to wager, I've seen a lot more, so definitely a lot more left to this contest Smiley
9564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: November 06, 2018, 05:25:22 AM
I think Manchester City will be stopped in games where they will be playing against 4 top of the standings in the league, especially Chelsea is playing very good football so far.

Hazard has been playing very good football. It was almost comical how much the flow of the game versus Palace changed when he came off the bench. Chelsea will struggle against other top teams if he leaves for Madrid. Having said that, Morata looked better against Palace than he has all season. They are really going to need him and Giroud to step up if Hazard does leave.

The Chelsea defense also wasn't 100% in that last game. Barkley in particular was all over the place.

In short I think it will be Liverpool, rather than Chelsea, who are the main contenders to Man City this season.

It's amazing how guys like Hazard and Aguero have been playing in the English league for years now, and they still have the capacity to change games, and yet their managers don't always use them with full belief or somehow don't know how to make them better (like how sometimes the crowd at City is booing when Aguero is still on the bench). Or remember when Mister Mourinho turned Hazard from Player of the Year to amateur Conference League footballer? I remember Hazard even sent a Sorry SMS to Mourinho for being such a lousy player.
9565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO coming soon. Would you like to be the very first to know about it? on: November 06, 2018, 05:17:04 AM
It's a great idea but I think you aren't the first one to do it, so I worry you might find there is a lot of competition by the time you get started. I can't remember the name of the others, but there is a big one from Japan called Patron that already raised like $10 million this year, and they already have a huge following (plus some related products).

It may be that you could still launch, after all competition is good, but you have to really be unique in this sector with others coming earlier!
9566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto as universal means of exchange on: November 05, 2018, 12:53:31 PM
The illiteracy rate at some part of the world makes my mind go blank when the topic of this sort is raised. It going to be a challenging task due to the risk associated with crypto. Considering the private keys, it going to be easily compromised making more people lose interest

Something of a point, but actually it's not just the "uneducated" or even the "illiterate" people who will lose interest in something like Bitcoin because of the private key that must be kept safe. I keep meeting educated people in this space who know everything about crypto except how to use it. They don't even realize they don't own private keys.

Education is one thing but awareness is another?
9567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: November 05, 2018, 06:25:40 AM
Southampton are unlucky to be facing Manchester City in their next upcoming match, as Manchester City could have the chance to overtake Liverpool and become the leader on the English Premier League table again if they manage to beat Southampton. I believe with the Manchester City fans cheering hard for their team at the Etihad Stadium, this should be another easy victory for Manchester City.

Manchester City have a big chance of taking over the league leaders, especially what they face is Southampton who still haven't found their best performance yet. Over 2.5 could be the good market to be picked in this match.

Manchester City just thrashed Southampton with scoreline 6-1. And also topped the League as of now with 29 pts, but I can say we will get to see some changes in the table for sure and the league topper will continue to change till the end.
11 November is a crucial day, Manchester Derby, so it will decide whether Manchester City is going to stay at the top for a couple of more few Matchdays.

It's getting a bit sickening to see Manchester City just go game after game after game scoring so many goals. I don't know why, but it's not the same when watching Arsenal or Spurs or Liverpool score 4 goals. It's just such a different feel. Like you are watching a bully take down kids in the playground. I wanted another Leicester this season but Liverpool is the best chance of killing City's dominance. So I hope they do it. Chelsea, maybe, but if they have to rely on 1 guy all the time, it's never going to happen.
9568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Melbourne Cup punters are betting with bitcoin, and there's nothing anyone can d on: November 05, 2018, 06:08:25 AM
Many sportsbooks with Bitcoin now. You can see various user compiled lists like this one: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3700481.0 and this one: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5040737.0

Most of those mentioned there are good and trusted by us here, but of course make your own decisions before gambling. There's nothing anyone can do about betting on sports indeed. Even there are many US games. Even Saudi football, where it is absolutely wrong to gamble there!

And more entering the scene, such as the new one from BitDice
9569  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trading or other business what do you choose? on: November 04, 2018, 02:02:50 PM
In the current digital era, many people are starting to trading Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency because they think Bitcoin trading is profitable from other businesses. Some people again say that business is more profitable than Bitcoin trading.
Crypto world has so many business types that it is impossible to list them all since some of them just come out and you go "why didn't I think of that before". There are faucets sites making money from advertisements as the lowest place (depending on how big you get it can be pretty big) there are casinos, there are miners, there are exchanges, there are traders, there are blockchain companies, there are games and I can keep writing but at this point you get what I am trying to say.

If you want to choose a way for yourself on bitcoin world there are many things you can do but if you do not have any capital to start the best way to make money is with signature campaigns and bounties with the upcoming ICO's which is the best way to make yourself a little capital before you go bigger.

Personally, I don't know why people always fall for hype of "easy and profits are guaranteed". I love crypto, Bitcoin specifically. I think it has the ability to change the way the world works in terms of how we all view money, but it doesn't change industry, or the way wealth is currently created.

Keep your day job, earn from what it stable and understood. At the same time, learn about Bitcoin and try to move wealth into it. Trading Bitcoin or whatever other crypto is really no different from trading other markets. And it doesn't mean you're really learning about Bitcoin when you trade and speculate.

Focus on education and awareness instead. And be prepared when the future arrives.
9570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2018 Cryptocurrency Crash (Elliott Wave) on: November 04, 2018, 12:48:23 PM
So we have less than 2 months left to the year, CBOE expiry coming in 10 days, and we're almost exactly in the middle of both bear and bull early projections you've given here. So basically, we're finely balanced - 50/50. And that's still a way off from hitting the confirmation targets, so is it time to say now that 2018 isn't going to confirm either bull or bear? I can't see BTC hitting 4k or 7.4k

The first inflections you put even don't look possible at this stage!
9571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Binance became world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange on: November 04, 2018, 10:44:26 AM
Probably having the "affiliate" part helped a lot. I have checked almost everywhere and for the first months of its existence everyone was sharing their affiliate links constantly everywhere around the web. Which basically shifted the marketing responsibility from binance itself to the users, even a new user that came as someone else affiliate checked and see he can make a decent living out of finding a couple big whales tried to tell everyone about binance.

I have personally found couple people that still makes me money during this market and I was making hundreds of dollars from commission monthly during the peak times. I was selling a bot at those times and I told people I would give them a 10% discount (which I was already giving) if they became my affiliates on binance for the bot. While the bot was buying and selling constantly I was making an insane amount from the commissions. That is why affiliate network is incredibly important in any type of business.

Yeah, Binance did 2 things right. They launched just before the bull run was hitting its peak, and gave everyone a share of their tokens as the referral bonus, which meant that everybody was promoting during the crypto hype. Then, they also prioritized the fact that even unverified users could use it with large limits - crypto is about privacy and people don't like sharing their details if they can help it. Binance moved location and jurisdiction, the best move for them in the current situation.
9572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: 95% of Bounties Are Bullshit For Everyone Involved on: November 04, 2018, 10:17:38 AM
So you only found this out now? I might even say a higher number than 95%. With all due respect to other social media platforms, the only place where people actually can get good value with "bounty hunters" is certain type of influencers, some of them you can find right here on this forum.

But you're right. Most of them are utter rubbish. Posting to thousands of fake followers and subscribers - and let's face it, they need very little effort to post anything substantial, and why should they? Projects pay the same shit to a good poster, and a bad one.

But you know, they were as shitty as they were in 2017. People only noticed because of this bear market.
9573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If your coin increased 40% - 200% in value over night. What would you do? on: November 03, 2018, 06:33:24 PM
Crypto coins changed in pump and dump coin.

Its not what it was in 2015 or 2016. Most investors with money lost there trust.

They take there profits in december and januari when there was a hype and never looked back.

Maybe they will come back by another huge dump in 2019.

And slowly after the halving of bitcoin when the price goes up they will sell again.

Real crypto investors solds there coins after the hype for 10x 50x and 100x.

They dumped there coins to the holders of now.

Buying real estate and renting it is more profitable. Today you can buy a coin for $1 tomorrow you can lose 50% of your money.
There is no guaranty that you will ever get your money back. Its not what it was in 2015-2016.

Look how many ico's today there is on the market. Everyone create a token or coin to make money and get millionaire so fast as possible.
Developers stealing peoples money today with crypto.

Good points. Investors lost their trust even earlier than 2018. The ones that have been whining and complaining this year were mostly either speculators who made profit on every coin they randomly bought in 2017, and then bought some more during the bull rush, and are now sitting with bags of worthless "utility tokens".

Real estate means you're buying into the traditional system, forcing people into a system of rental and debt, but sure, yes, that's the sure way for regular income.
9574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cloudbet's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: November 03, 2018, 05:05:04 PM
As a big Liverpool fan I didn’t enjoy seeing Rashford score in injury time to win the match 2-1 for United.
It did however get me 3 more points for an exact score in our pool. At least that’s a small consolation.

I did a stupid thing and went for 2-1 but in the opposite direction. Everything was going well too for a while, but I guess Martial and Rashford are really changing their form, and I don't think this is a coincidence as Mourinho has been saying nicer things about them. I'm sure Mr Special One also realizes this and he knows that he has been winning games when his team is on a high morale.

I did guess the Newcastle win nicely, but it looks like our top guy LFC Bitcoin did as well, so well done to 3 of us for picking this. LFC, you've been making very strong rounds lately, I'm very impressed!
9575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC price over $400 again? on: November 03, 2018, 12:08:25 PM
Four hundred dollars litecoin market price is really long way from now!  Litecoin should have had a platform that support other Cryptocurrency services and market and this would have increase Cryptocurrency activities with litecoin.  Litecoin need to start developing towards service not just payment!

Not as much as ETH's $1400 ATH is from its current $200 value, though! Yes, in terms of percentage, Litecoin is kind of like other altcoins at the current value from ATH, but there is still a lot less volume and money needed to push Litecoin back to $400, then it would take ETH to reach even $200 to $400.

Also, Bitcoin in this sense looks "impossible" but then huge volumes and demand continue to grow along with adoption, so BTC back to $20k is not impossible, in the same likelihood as LTC back to $400.
9576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Finally ,a solution to fraudulent ICOs? on: November 03, 2018, 11:48:50 AM
This news information about the reverse ICO idea is a welcome development to cryptocurrency sphere,i believe it will improve the ICO investment ecosystem, investor will breathe fresh air and will be motivated to continue the crypto investment business

This is a Reversible ICO concept, not the same as a reverse ICO.

In a reverse ICO, an established company/business with already an operational team and product, simply wants to raise funds to expand. Then they run an ICO. So the ICO comes after the business is established, hence reversed ICO. A few casinos did this last year, established for several years and wanting to expand. They did ICOs and of course did well because people saw the existing business was successful.
9577  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your #1 top trading resource? on: November 03, 2018, 09:51:02 AM
Forget all those "whale signal" channels, especially the Telegram ones. And especially forget it if it is a paid signal. I found the free ones at least, they are only sharing the trades they make, while paid ones they are making signals just because they promised to give 1 or 2 signals every day or week, so even if they don't make trades, they're forced to share something.

Eventually, trading resources help you learn something, but you still have to end up making your own research and decisions.
9578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are the most promising cryptocurrencies? on: November 03, 2018, 09:25:33 AM
Like in first comment every person should start from top 10 coins on market cap, first invest in some of them and only later invest in others. Now market is huge compared with past years, so many markets, pairs and coins. It's impossible to be sure in any investment this days, it's like gambling, you invest and wait, what happens happens. Before finding a coin to invest in, be sure in what you wish, how big profit and how long you are ready to wait. Bitcoin will bring double profit in next year or two, some coins can deliver x10, maybe we will see coins that can rise even more. I believe that just some coins will rise through period of one year, for some huge rises we need to be patient, maybe more than two years. Have some from everything is a good strategy, if you don't know in which coins to invest.

Recipe for disaster. Take a look at the top 10 altcoins (apart from Bitcoin) for the last 5 years and you will see this list changes every so often. If anyone took this advice last year, for example, you would be buying Ethereum and Litecoin and Ripple. And look where they are now.

There's no fixed strategy or pattern. Invest not by numbers and promises. Invest in your research and believe in it.
9579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ether going forward? on: November 02, 2018, 06:05:00 PM
I'm a long disbeliever of Ethereum and therefore Ether. For me, they were actually going backwards every time they developed, right from the beginning. They just got more and more centralized, but with the latest moves from Vitalik, maybe this currency is finally going forward. But if it will always be in the hands of a few developers, it's something I can never trust. Can you trust a few guys who are human just like you and me?
9580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I stopped trading. 3 reasons why. on: November 02, 2018, 09:43:17 AM
Hopefully, you've learned your lessons about trading. There's no secret recipe, there's no pattern to hold to, there's just discipline and faith in your strategies. The fact that you find it too tiring, too time-consuming and then you got distracted by blockchain gaming shows a few things: that you were not disciplined enough to let your strategies play out (letting stop losses trigger, letting buy orders trigger).

The experienced trader spends time reading and learning, and then setting trades, allowing them to happen or not. Might be a lesson for us all.
