Attackers attack the email to get the 2fa out of the way. Point is that I daily get a half dozen emails that one account or another has a password reset attemtpt. I keep everything tight as a button, so there is no worry, just sheer amazment that it is almost always a Bitcoin related account and even though I just said that I have a huge number of accounts, in comparison to all the other accounts, bank accounts, emails and such, it is staggering how much people try to hit those crypto accounts.
Interesting indeed..How would they know that you had bitcoin? Is it possible..say for example on this forum, hackers can find out the IP of people like us and be able to start attacks on the IP address for that person? IF SO, then would a VPN that created a false IP be the answer? Your thoughts please.
