I think I may have locked it down a little too much, that perhaps I might forget the process I take one day.

Private key and wallet seed must hold as confidential thing. Apart from that wallet.dat file also to secure it safely. Mostly don't prefer onlinr wallets for your usage. You need to have a desktop wallet or paper wallet to have numurous features.

When you go online the level of safety drops do the safest way is offline, generate the paper wallet offline in a computer that has a fresh OS installed and that has not been connected to the internet yet, generate it and optionally reinstall the OS, in this way I consider one of the safest way to secure the wallet.

The most important thing to keep yourself secure online is not falling for any temptation of a "bot" "earning method" etc... because majority of trojans and malware enter devices through the user's own plunders, and rarely for a vulnerability in the system or the like.
To provide the best possible security for a wallet, an encrypted, paper wallet, generated offline is the most secure IMO, but you need to make sure you keep enough copies in secure places to avoid losing the key yourself.

Using a hardware wallet like Ledger is enough, if you don't want to spend 80$ then you can use blockchain.info with all securty settings activated on a clear computer or virtual machine.

Of course nobody wants to spend or loose 80$ when there's an alternative that offers comparatively same attributes for free. So I guess we will all go for the blockchain.info purse.

Recently, there has been a lot of robberies and wallet hacks targeting the Blockchain.info users. If you want to use their service, then make sure that you enable 2FA, and email verification. But if there is a keylogger targeting your logins, then even 2FA may not be able to stop your coins getting stolen. And let me say one more thing. $80 is not a big amount, if you are holding $25,000 worth of coins.

Use hammer to print your private keys using the typewriter keys onto a brass plate and then put it in a lead-lined box and place it somewhere in your home in the wall fixtures (cemented over)

yes, securing wallet is very important. I have three bitcoin wallets, all my wallets are secure and safe.

Multiplying your wallet will also minimize the risk, it would be better also if every password of the wallet is different and also given authentication for every wallet. Then your wallet will be very safe and will not be crushed by anyone. I also did that and I have never been hacked

Having multiple wallets can up the risk as well, if you download several wallets you risk clicking in a phishing link and that way you could install a wallet with malware and be robed of your bitcoin so like you see having multiple wallets is not a guarantee.

Some times my wallet almost opened by some hackers maybe they know my identifer wallet. I know it's because there's a notification in my email. Luckily blockchain is pretty sophisticated by sending a confirmation email every will login and of course I added authentication and it's pretty safe

Attackers attack the email to get the 2fa out of the way.  Point is that I daily get a half dozen emails that one account or another has a password reset attemtpt.  I keep everything tight as a button, so there is no worry, just sheer amazment that it is almost always a Bitcoin related account and even though I just said that I have a huge number of accounts, in comparison to all the other accounts, bank accounts, emails and such, it is staggering how much people try to hit those crypto accounts.

   Interesting indeed..How would they know that you had bitcoin? Is it possible..say for example on this forum, hackers can find out the IP of people like us and be able to start attacks on the IP address for that person? IF SO, then would a VPN that created a false IP be the answer? Your thoughts please.

The current phenomenon is that hackers attack our wallet via phishing emails via slack channel, whatever generated channels are automatically sent into our email notif with excellent packaging, they are very similar to dev emails and offer many free bonus claim offerings.

It is surprising that the bounty of slack channel is really worn and spread over all the latest altcoin campaign. Consider if the campaign participants are 200 more people, the chances of successful phishing will be enormous.

When creating wallet in any application that is really important thing is to save the private keys. Because once it forgotten problem is in. Atleast dont open any link that you dont know because there are many phishing sites that wanted to hack an account.
