9581  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will it be the year for Ripple? on: September 22, 2018, 01:46:41 PM
After sleeping for so long, Ripple seems to be awake now and starts to run. Do you think it is now time for it to grow or is it just temporary? Many people are against it because they say that it is centralized but banks worldwide are pro Ripple. Does Ripple can go up to $100? What's your opinion about it?

Ask yourself this again after looking at all the facts and realizing that none of the price growths have ever been real. Everything is artificial, including this recent x2 growth (but to be fair, it was perhaps undervalued too quickly).

Banks are pro RIPPLE technology, not pro XRP token. Be aware of this and understand that their token can still be 0 cents and the tech would be just as great.

For this to be Ripple year, it has to be back at ATH and then some.

Thanks for the reminder! I was sure I got my picks in but I hadn't so all in now for the next 3 weeks.

Even when Palace are struggling Zaha always looks somewhat impressive. When they were against Liverpool? A few weeks back I remember him being the only one threatening. Honestly, I can see a bigger team coming in for him in the future. Even if he's only used as a backup for one of the top 6 teams. He's definitely capable of coming on, and scoring. Especially against tired legs.

Wasn't Zaha from United before? I didn't recognize him from his face and I looked him up and he recently complained about being alone in his time at Manchester and was even loaned out after Ferguson bought him. Didn't even realize until I read him up now that he's no longer an England player (how is it possible people switch nationalities like that??).

He reminds me a little bit about guys like Jermain Defoe. Always reliable to score, and always gets bought by teams like Crystal Palace. I thought Benteke would also be that type of striker but good luck to him. I have a small heart for those type of underrated goal scorers.
9583  Economy / Gambling / Re: ThrowTheDice.net | 🎲 1% House Edge | 🎲 Online Cryptocurrency Dice Game 🎲 | on: September 22, 2018, 08:59:44 AM
Hooray, another dice game. Will add this to my list to check out.

But as player above points out: The most important thing for anyone who is putting up a new casino here is this. Proof of funds. Bankrolls are important we all know that and with dice you can lose big but also win big. Once you hit a few big whales trying out their luck on a new site, they will eat up funds at the beginning. We need to know you can survive that!
9584  Economy / Gambling / Re: ITALIAN LOCAL BOOKIES, BETS FOR YOU on: September 22, 2018, 08:32:42 AM
We are offline betters but we use Telegram. Come on, why would anyone using Bitcoin with good odds and guaranteed payouts want to trust sending money to some guy who has all these claims but cannot prove anything ever? Not even a signed message with lots of fund on an address.

I'm really curious to know if anyone has ever successfully made placings with these guys on the forum, or why they would be looking online without all these proofs. If it was a problem of big money, I would still use other options like SyGambler mentions!
9585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about the talk: 'Alt-coins dying off in 2019'? on: September 21, 2018, 12:28:25 PM
I arrived on the scene last year, and my first alt was Dogecoin (big surprise right) but then after learning more about the different uses and purposes, I was convinced enough to get Monero, of which I am probably the happiest among all my alts, plus also Litecoin, merely for the purpose of fast payments with existing network of merchants.

Did I go for other alts? Yes, I actually invested in two ICOs. Did I go crazy for others? No, but I did buy a handful just to spend a bit of my bitcoin, but BTC at the time as it is today still accounts for more than I guess 70%. I still really like Waves, and even though the Elastic I bought is never coming back up, my hopes for them remain.

Did I also try to get into other alts for speculation? Of course and I made some profits too, but now the ones I entered even Ether this year at $400 are down. Do I believe in them? Only for price. So will they die? Probably, because everyone came into them for profit.

But Monero, Litecoin, those types, they won't die.
9586  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: September 21, 2018, 09:21:07 AM
Stupid headlines when I saw something in the news feed I thought Pocchetino was getting sacked haha, turns out he was just saying he could face being fired if they lose to Brighton. But if that really happens then we can confirm Tottenham have a really shit board of directors (we are only thinking it not yet confirming it).

Looks like everybody wants to parlay easy wins but I think one or two draws not necessarily upsets can kill a parlay. Too dangerous for me. Southampton might draw to Liverpool. City might stumble after Champions League. Chelsea might hit a blip. Spurs maybe cannot score.

I would choose Brighton +1 handicap.

Nobody legally requires AML/KYC for crypto gambling or crypto-related websites because there is no international consensus or single definition on what rules should apply.

As long as no FIAT is involved then AML/KYC are virtually non-existent requirements.
I have no idea what the sense of your nonsense post it, but in many jurisdictions AML/KYC laws are also applicable for crypto currencies!

Oh Lord here we go again... Please provide

1) the name of any jurisdiction where crypto can be traded without using FIAT and WITHOUT providing AML/KYC

2) the name of any jurisdiction where crypto can be traded without using FIAT but MUST provide AML/KYC

3) the name of any jurisdiction where crypto casinos are lawful WITHOUT providing AML/KYC

4) the name of any jurisdiction where crypto casinos are lawful WITH MANDATORY AML/KYC

As mentioned, if any conversion of crypto either FIAT>CRYPTO or CRYTPO>FIAT takes place then various regulations kick in no matter which country the exchanger/trader is located or registered in.

If all transactions taking place are simply CRYPTO>CRYPTO then there are plenty of jurisdictions around the world where AML/KYC on those websites is not necessary or mandatory.

The best way to deal with game-protect is just to take everything he says with a dash of salt and lots of herbs and spices. He just seems to troll all the threads, seems to talk about legality and especially licensing but actually doesn't really understand the finer points of jurisdictions, and how crypto casinos fit into all that.

@OP thanks for really being active on the discussions here. A lot of important stuff that needs clarification, and really good to see people like you respond, even when there is criticism.
9588  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: September 21, 2018, 05:30:16 AM
I'm thinking of going with a parlay with Milan, Chelsea, Sevilla, Lazio, all to win. The diference in level is massive, I doubt the big teams will encounter any problems, they should all get the 3 points tonight.

I'm looking forward to Villareal vs Rangers. This will be Gerrard's debut as a manager in an european competition, it'll be interesting to see how his performs against a solid side like Villareal who have the 'advantage' of playing at home. The last time these two teams met was in the RO16 of the Champions League in 2006.

There's also the "classic" between the two Red Bull teams: RB Leipzig vs Red Bull Salzburg...I think Leipzig are the better team.

Nice win if you parlayed, what was the payout? I don't think the Sevilla game would have big payout though.

Big difference in level is actually the tricky bit, especially when playing with teams that have no good attacks and who don't score often in normal league games, then you have them just playing passing and defending, very difficult to break down such teams, so you get shock draws.

Rangers nicked their goal to draw, so they got a really good point from their group. They are still average team but Gerrard seems to have made them capable of scoring. 2 goals at Spain is special.
9589  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: September 21, 2018, 04:53:42 AM
LOTTERY ROUND 172
This round, the winner with the lowest number of tickets is #2 with 214 tickets.
#1 won 0.40743557 BTC with 722 tickets.

Urgh, I know. This keeps making me feel tempted to go ahead and buy 3000 tickets with my remaining rewards points, stored up since forever. I mean, if a guy can win it with 2 tickets several rounds ago and we keep seeing below 1000 tickets winning the big prizes, I stand a chance right?

But every time I visit the lottery page and see my chance of winning, and I try to multiply by 3000 or so, it's not even 0.1%, so I change my mind haha.

Goes back to grinding rewards points.

I have ~2000 tickets this round...
That's 0.016% win chance.
You'd have to spend about 3mbtc in order to get to 1% by the end of each round...

I'm thinking to just grind a lot and then at least get 10k tix from all my rewards, and then by then use my balance to just play dice multiplier and limit losses, just to get free tickets. I already have quite a bit lost from that when I was impatient months ago and busting so now trying to stick to grinding. Meanwhile who knows, I hit with double digit ticks. Just a way to pass the time on mobile to be honest. Don't lose anything and don't expect anything and my life is less stressful!
9590  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE - 🎲🎲🎲 Treasure Chest Is Back! 🎰🎰🎰 on: September 21, 2018, 04:22:01 AM
Nice one!
It's also interesting that BITdice has four decimal to make it harder to hit jackpot. I always thought that two decimals are standard.

Yeah four decimals also allows for higher possible multipliers.

I know at least two other dice sites with four decimals, and exactly so that you can go for high multipliers/payouts. That's sort of why dice is so popular IMO, the chance to hit it big with such a small bet. Personally never go for max payout except occassionally and I've won x100 a few times but seen plenty of hits of x10k or more. 100 satoshi on autobet hunting for that big payout seems to be popular with regular dicers.

I don't see how 2 decimals can make a big jackpot too. 1 in 10,000 will mean a lot of jackpot hits.

9592  Other / Archival / Re: Investing in Gambling Sites on: September 20, 2018, 08:40:11 AM
My experience of investment into two gambling sites:

Crypto-games.net:
02.08.2018 invested 1.42006574 btc in crypto-games.net, on 02.09.2018 profit has 0.00735331 btc, at the same time having closed site fee. Also I see advantage of crypto-games that it is possible to make investments in alternative cryptocurrencies and also to close the investment program and to take away money at any time. Next time I will check statistics 02.10.2018

Bustadice.com:
27.08.2018 invested 0.4 btc in "onsite investment". Profit makes today 0.00601833 btc. Not bad, yeah? BUT, it is impossible to take away money at any time because
Quote
minimum amount that can be invested or divested is Ƀ 0.01
source: https://bustadice.com/invest

It is the reason for which I don't recommend to invest here.

I like Crypto-Games investment too, but they also have a minimum, actually, and if you take away your investment before 4 weeks, you lose some penalty for early divest. Much lower minimum I think, but still a minimum.

Invest minimum at Bitvest is the same as Bustadice (0.01 BTC), I see no problems recommending even with high minimum, which makes sense, no fees for divest at any time. Bitvest also lets you do x10 leverage so that's also pretty good but of course if they incur losses, you lose much more. Also, your profit is 0.006 but if you add that to your investment, then you surely have enough? 60% is a lot of profit...
9593  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: newcryptocasinos.com - Our channel at BitcoinTalk.org on: September 20, 2018, 07:34:23 AM
Hi, thank you for your input.

I agree that when you deposit with BTC and Withdraw, you shouldn't need to do the KYC, this is one of the big reason you play with BTC.
And we recently removed 2 BIG Crypto Casinos just for this reasons, since they didn't told the costumers that they required the KYC before the deposit with BTC.

I have listed some Casinos that will ask the customers for KYC, however most of this Casinos must have it because they have a license in Malta and are obligated to do it due to regulation, but this Casinos is more like a "hybrid Casino" where you can deposit with Bitcoin, but most transactions on their sites is in Fiat Currency.

But this is actually the main reason  why we started this thread, we appreciate all feedback we can get to make sure we list good casinos.

For me, if there is a fiat or credit card or paypal or whatever option at the casino, then even if they say they never ask for KYC, they will, at some point or other. These days none of these people will be allowed to operate with those methods and not ask for KYC. Good to hear you've removed those casinos. You have to be extra careful with BTC deposits at casinos that also do credit cards. Some even allow BTC deposit but you MUST withdraw with debit card. Stupid rule right? But that's all the tricks they do to trap people who don't read the whole ToS.

Definitely agree, that is a stupid rule.
I see on your logo that you like Dices, we just added OneHash to our listings, they have a pretty cool game called Goal have you tried it?
We will do a deposit on it tomorrow and try it out, will update here after and let you know what we think of this operator.

Yeah, among many stupid rules, and I really wish newbies would spend 15 minutes to read ToS of casinos before signing up. I say 15 because it should take 5 minutes but nowadays Casinos put their TOS and conditions all over the place, with different requirements and different conditions for everything. Terrible practice!

Yes, dice is my favorite Bitcoin game, fast, and lets me play really small when I just want to have fun, plus the dice site I advertise shares dividends if they do well, so it's a form of investment too. I'll check out Onehash, thanks for letting me know, perhaps after reading your update on them.
9594  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM Warning ! 36eyes.com Bitcoin Casino on: September 20, 2018, 05:42:13 AM
A lot of people are quick to condemn the site but not focusing on some salient issues as follows

1. An individual opened a fresh account to make a complain about a certain site only. If my money is hanging somewhere, I don't think opening an account is the first thing I want to do.

2. Since yesterday he made the post, there have been request that he should post the evidence to support his claim and after a new day, nothing has been heard from him on that.

3. He had the time to search for the thread of the site but didn't think the best way to get response on claims is posting on the ANN thread as that is expected to be monitored by the community rep but he chose to create a new thread for his complaints.

While I am not trying to exonerate the gambling sites, some basic things are not adding up in other to give credibility to this claim of Op.

Well, I assumed he came online to complain because he though the pressure would help move his case quickly. And guess what? I was right, he finally came and posted his proof of conversation, and you can see the admin actually uses a Gmail email (!what?!) and then takes the site down later.

Some people also suggest opening an account and asking on Twitter/FB/bitcointalk for support to move faster on exchanges and on casinos, so I see nothing wrong with newbie accounts coming to post a complaint. But you are right on the last point. He should have made his complaint in the official thread AND left a red trust on the 36eyes profile https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2074144

He has even been online 2 days ago.
9595  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: September 20, 2018, 05:07:59 AM
Man City lost...well, color me surprised as I definitely did not see that coming. Watching the highlights of the first half I noticed that both goals from Lyon came from two mistakes from the Man City defenders, so it's hard to evaluate how good Lyon played. Nevertheless, props to the french for not conceding more goals, you would've thought that after Manchester City scored the comeback was bound to happen, but Lyon managed to get a key win against the favorites (are they?) to win the group.

Ronaldo saw the red card? Well, good thing the next match is against a weak side like Young Boys. Also, great result from Juve with one man down.

And great start for Real Madrid, the three goals were absolute screamers. Btw, just like I expected, the Santiago Bernabeu gave Manolas an ovation during the warm up...amazing LOL Grin

It was violent misconduct red card, so fair enough. You never pull someone's hair in football, that is only for little boys and girls in the playground and I have only ever seen that in women's football, but let us not go there for being sexist.

What is funny for me is not the hair pulling, everyone who isn't blind to Ronaldo knows he is capable of such things, but that he was complaining about a guy for faking an injury and not getting up. Ronaldo, the serial diver and faker, asking someone to get up by pulling his hair. And the way he still whined and cried, what a brat.

@slaman29 Thanks for stopping by! At the moment we only request KYC when certain flags have been raised. We try to avoid it wherever possible as we know anonymity is very important to some of our players, and I suspect that KYC for all new players on sign up would drive a lot of people away. It's something I'm happy to pass on as feedback to the team though, as I know the topic comes up for discussion regularly.

Thank you for your response Ronnie at least we see that you guys are being open about this, and this is exactly what I'm trying to say actually.

You are right, players like me are absolutely never going to sign up at a site that needs KYC. But this means for me, as long as there is the possibility that kyc is required, I am never playing, and I know almost 100% anyone who wouldn't sign up because of KYC at signup, would also never sign up if there would be kyc down the line.

So it is extremely important you make it clear at the site on sign up. So people don't get unfairly "trapped".
9597  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet | Sportsbook and Casino | Bet with BTC and BCH | 100% Deposit Bonus on: September 19, 2018, 09:10:01 AM
IF you must do kyc, it must be at account creation.
Actually, this is false. No one has to enforce KYC on signup or deposit.

What I'm saying is, if they HAVE to enforce KYC, and they know at some point they must, then it is onboarding that KYC should be implemented and not "surprise surprise we need to verify you" after the player decides he wants to withdraw his balance.

I think KYC shouldn't be enforced at all, but if they must because of law, actually I'm pretty sure the law states they must identify their customers whom they are taking money from. So either they have KYC or they don't. And if they do, make it clear from the beginning so that nobody is trapped.

For sportsbook, there are a lot of options, but you should check out Bitcoinrush. There are a few discussions around the gambling sections about their odds,
which apparently are among the highest. Of course this probably means they don't give much back in commissions.
...

Have you checked their website lately? BTCgrinders already offer Bitcoinrush:
https://btcgrinders.com/sports

Bitcoinrush:
Quote
Bet Back
▪ 0.275 - 0.425% Return on all wagers (Exclusive)*

This is more cashback than you usually get at Bitcoinrush if you don´t
sign up using BTCgrinders as an affiliate.

AH! I guess I didn't check their website out recently after all! That's actually... a really really good deal, since I would only get half of that on my own even at maximum value. Thanks for the note and link, I haven't had much luck lately at the normal games, thought I would soon try change that luck with a new and fresh account with nothing to remind me I have lots of BTC losses to "recover".

Will continue PM'ing btcgrinders after I sign up... probably after I end my campaign at CL Wink

BOOM!
Great win by Liverpool, fully deserved. PSG were crap, they have some great players but they don’t work well together as a team. They’re almost lazy, just don’t work hard enough when they don’t have the ball.
What a winner by Firmino though!

Indeed, that match could have ended 6-2, a few missed opportunities by liverpool but they got there in the end at least Cheesy
Salah is really under performed on that match, he missed many chance that i think liverpool can make many goals and even make a mistake that lead a goal to PSG.

Great match though, that last minute goal my Firmino and the celebration with 1 eye  Grin

I used to think Brazilians weren't really suited for English games, and especially never really successful with type of clubs like Liverpool under attacking managers like Klopp, but then again Firminho isn't really a suitable Brazilian! That kind of celebration was totally worth watching football for, and I don't know if any other team played as well, since it was the only game I watched after my own team was 4-0 last night, and that was the best game I saw from them in a very long time.

Long live Messi!

Everyone and anyone can claim to have funds in their bankroll. But not many casinos actually post the proof of this. We all use Bitcoin, and if the casinos claim they use and support Bitcoin, then providing proof of funds on cold storage wallet is a matter of 5 minutes. Show a signed message from the wallet, make it public, and there are no more doubts.

Anyone can see if funds are moved from the wallet too, so that's one way to build assurance.

Of course it doesn't mean the casino won't just decide to exit scam one day, but that's the risk we all take with exchanges and casinos.
