961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you long on, and why? on: September 21, 2018, 03:37:52 PM
Minus the obvious BTC for the looong term win, I'm going long on:

(1) Sia
(2) Dent

Here's why:

(1) They're both really cheap right now
(2) They both seek to unsettle massive players in established markets. Sia is smashing cloud storage players and DENT is disrupting data strongholds in mobile
(3) They are already delivering fantastic products

What are you long on, and why?

According to me, the most promising coin for a long term investment is Ethereum. The coin is the most popular crypto and has one of the best development teams behind it. It currently has a market capital of $23.3 billion and can cross the $700 mark easily in the next few months.
I find the coin's idea of smart and ledger contracts which can hold state and arbitrary code quite revolutionary. It is also a great coin for making transactions as it provides fraud free transactions due to its back end security.
It is a good potential coin and I am expecting good returns from it.

I have Ethereum`s! Now when price is so low I`m buying more. This is great opportunity to buy Ethereum`s for $200.
Thanks for nice insight about Ethereum, I`m reading good things too. Vitalik is talking how he plan to upgrade Ethereum,
it`s constantly being developed. That is a great thing when we know that team behind project is dedicated to that.
I`m long on many coins, tokens, platforms. I think many of existing ones have potential for great future. My most favorites
are the ones that are getting out now and they are very cheap.
at this time many people are buying ethereum, and price is increasing. Hopefully trend continues. i still hold eth that i have, to be used as future savings, because i believe that will have good prospects
962  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks offering only 1.3% interest rates for Savings Account on: September 21, 2018, 03:33:12 PM
I think it is more or less the same here, not very enticing. Obviously, crypto investment can produce much higher rates, but you also have to count in the risk in those investments
i think interest offered by banks is less attractive, so it's a loss if we save money in bank. it is better indeed for investment, because interest is less than inflation that occurs
963  Economy / Economics / Re: When will smartphones used for bitcoin mining? on: September 20, 2018, 07:03:08 AM
It won't happen, it impossible. to mining, it will cost you a lot of power and no phone can bearable. Smartphone as know as digital wallet, you can simply download an app and that's how you make it as your wallet. that all you can do with your phone.

Even large mining farms cannot bring much profit now. Bitcoins will be never mined on the smartphones. This is simply impossible - no one phone will manage this task.
964  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin volume is still rising ? on: September 20, 2018, 06:59:24 AM
Bitcoin prices are constantly changing! So this can be said that the price is variable and its change will never be fixed, it will continue.
right, and price of major price depends on the trend, while trend itself has many things that influence it. hopefully this time is a reversal trend, so price will go up. and in accordance with expectations of all of us
965  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do you think the market is down right now? on: September 20, 2018, 06:54:56 AM
is it all that is going on with regulations?

Big whales just waiting?

People do not believe in crypto anymore?

is it trouble in some countries in ASIA with laws and regulations?
I think the crypto market is being affected by the economy of the world now and some of the rules of the law. But I'm sure that these strict rules will soon be removed so that blockchain technology can help the world more. The future will be good soon, do not worry too much. Grin
Hopefully it will happen soon, we know that Germany has just invited bitcoin to enter, and in Thailand Btc was introduced. Hopefully many countries will catch up with it, so the sun will soon rise
966  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason why other ban cryptocurrencies on: September 20, 2018, 06:50:56 AM
The main reason for prohibitions is very simple. Transfers in a currency different from the national one, lead to poor economic performance, including GDP (one of the main indicators). This way, it is easier to launder money or transfer funds outside the country. Neither banks nor payment processors will get their interest.
McCall Robinson a manager of Merchant Accounts, believes that most countries prohibit Bitcoin because it cannot be regulated and he said that. "Many governments do not like the very idea that there is another form of currency that they are not able to control. The supervision takes place on the Internet. Some countries consider it as danger to their society and government.

Most government ban and prohibit bitcoin because afraid used for money laundering. But if that a reason government ban bitcoin, i think its not fair too because US dollar used for money laundry too and much bigger than cryptocurrency
besides money laundering, terrorist financing is also feared if bitcoin is legalized. but this is indeed different from Japan, where we have never heard of terrorists in that country
967  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too many exchanges? on: September 19, 2018, 02:35:56 PM
We are seeing more and more exchanges nowadays. Is it beneficial to the community if we have more of these? What do you think are the benefits and/or the negative impact on having too many exchanges?

surely there will also be lots of scam exchanges. if the exchange does not have enough volume. I think it will close. and most of the closed exchanges don't return the customer's coin. but there is also a positive side. this makes crypto currency users not difficult to exchange their crypto currencies. so all have positive and negative sides. look for a reliable exchange. more exchanges more risk and more easy
indeed with many exchanges we will find it easier to choose. on the other hand this will be a healthy competition for many of these exchanges. but we must investigate credibility of that exchange so that it doesn't enter an invalid exchange
968  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you think, will BTC again jump in December? on: September 19, 2018, 02:31:23 PM
Hello Guys
I think, that will a BTC in next one or two months going down but, no so much, and then coming next jump. But this time, I think it will take longer and maybe will come also a new record resault. I will appreciate an expert comment.

After for a long time of dump, I think everybody wants to see bitcoin rising. Yes I am hoping that by december bitcoin will at least rise in order to have a good celebration of Christmas. Maybe the bitcoin history in every december can tell. The rise of bitcoin also means the rise of altcoins and ethereum and it is a very good thing.
right, that is hope of all of us, seeing bitcoin rise like the end of the previous year. although no one knows for sure, but with good news like this, it will increase excitement of the bitcoiners to buy
969  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Be careful with fake exchanges on: September 19, 2018, 02:27:52 PM
You are very right, now there are many exchange places that have fake teams that even have fraud at the exchange place, you should be careful not to choose a fake exchange place.
for new markets that are not famous, do not immediately transfer all assets directly. but you can test it, or divide it into several stages of transaction, thus reducing the risk, and we must find out the validity of that exchange
970  Economy / Economics / Re: The Reason For Creating a New Cryptocurrency? on: September 18, 2018, 12:38:32 PM
Unequivocally answer this question will not work. Some organizers want to develop and spread the crypto currency, trying to show all the benefits of its use. There are unscrupulous organizers who just want to make money using fraudulent schemes.
here presence of government is needed, so fake ico can be thrown away. regulation is also needed to give investors and bitcoiners a sense of security, so they feel protected
971  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best Cryptocurrency to Invest? on: September 18, 2018, 12:34:07 PM
if for me the best investment in cryptocurrency is to invest using coins that are truly proven and have many users because if the more users, the better the price
Litecoin and waves is two of the best crypto to invest now, this two altcoins will definitely have a bright future and i think bitcoin is also the best crypto to invest now, bitcoin future is secured, a lot of people now is trusting bitcoin so for sure it will be a good investment.
if the price of bitcoin goes up, of course the two coins follow the rise, and vice versa. therefore i prefer investing in btc, because it's the safest coin among others, (in my opinion)
972  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin x banks on: September 18, 2018, 12:30:10 PM
I really believe that Bitcoin will make the same effect to banks that youtube did to television ( at least).
This statement was made in a documentary from a long time ago that I watched.

So how far from that  you guys think we are now?

A long time ago? In what era? That doesn't make sense. As for now, Bitcoin was already used globally as a means of payment to online transactions but I think it has never been in the same effect as banks.
indeed BTC is a technological innovation in payment instruments. but on the other hand bank cannot be replaced, because under the supervision of government, of course government must look for answers to bitcoin policy later
973  Economy / Economics / Re: The Real Reason to Hold Gold And Bitcoin on: September 18, 2018, 12:26:27 PM
Investing in gold is a more stable investment option. But investing in bitcoin can earn a lot, because it has a large amount of cash.
after we know this, we can choose which investment we will use. of course it all depends on the nature of each person, whether choosing safe or risky, but can get big profits, but we must first learn about BTC before investing in it, what if we choose investment in BTC
974  Economy / Economics / Re: LIFE GOES ON. on: September 17, 2018, 01:43:06 PM
no matter how much bitcoin prices will run, it's just that if bitcoin continues to decline, old investors who don't believe in bitcoin will leave it and people will buy it cheaply
i think they take advantage of moment to buy, so get a cheap price. and so slowly the price will rise, so that many people will follow it to buy btc. and in the end the price will return to normal
975  Economy / Economics / Re: Newbies panic & Old timers smile, when the Bitcoin price take a dip. on: September 17, 2018, 01:39:13 PM
I think the newbie seems to want to rush to get rich. And bitcoin is down making them frustrated and can't wait to wait for an increase. I think everyone must be patient waiting for the increase in bitcoin. Because surely bitcoin will increase over time.
i don't think only newbie are panicking, many are panicking because of decline in BTC. because of their fears, not a few panic sell, thus worsening the market situation, so trying to calm down is very necessary
976  Economy / Economics / Re: When will people feel comfortable using BTC ? on: September 17, 2018, 01:35:32 PM
People will become comfortable using it when they realized that it is easier without consent from banks and government laws. But before that, the volatility level is still quite and issue. A wider adoption will change it.
besides that, if there are many shops whose payment uses bitcoin, because if it's still a bit, it will be difficult too. therefore legalization of bitcoin is needed, so that bitcoin can be used widely
977  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin holders will have to pay their tax? on: September 17, 2018, 01:32:02 PM
The use of digital currency, such as bitcoin as an investment product by taxpayers (WPs) who get profits must pay income tax (PPh) and must be reported in the annual income tax return. This obligation must be implemented even though bitcoin is not a legal payment system in Indonesia.
from your story, i think we have been indirectly taxed. because every income we get from bitcoin must be included in the annual tax reporting, so it will be subject to income tax
978  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: 🔥🔥[ANN] KORA - Infrastruktur untuk sistem keuangan inklusif [BOUNTYHIVE]🔥🔥 on: September 14, 2018, 10:02:55 AM
979  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin Worth To Be Currency? on: September 14, 2018, 09:58:55 AM
I think bitcoin is worth to be currency and the only think that makes it not worthy is just the volatility and also the total supply is too small to become currency.
i think for volacity, all fiat currencies also have it. and supply is not a barrier to that. the more people need, the higher price. vice versa. therefore government policy is needed
980  Economy / Economics / Re: Germany recognized the bitcoin on: September 14, 2018, 09:53:50 AM
I really doubt that they government would be interested in creating their own cryptocurrency. It is still to early for that but recognizing Bitcoin as a payment method is a huge step forward. I can't wait to see more shops in Germany accepting Bitcoin. They know that they can earn a lot of money thanks to crypto.
I think making own cryptocurrency is possible, considering that each country has its own currency, and it is possible that this will play same role as fiat currency. whereas if government has recognized the BTC, many countries will follow it
