961  Economy / Economics / Re: Will India be more progressive in the coming years? on: September 06, 2020, 04:54:35 PM
All sensible Indians understand the difference between India and China. All this recent jingoism driven drama on Social media is perpetuated by the IT cell of our ruling party with people spreading fake news and chest thumping about minor victories. The recent drama over 5 fucking fighter jets in the Indian media was truly embarrassing.
The funny aspect is that it took 5 years to get 5 Rafale fighter jets and the price they pay is huge and the negative aspect is that they import most or all the weapons. The IT cell is active for years and the only reason i still see them in power till this day is because of the power of spreading fake news in social media Grin.
I heard even facebook helped the the current ruling party in supression of hate speech against their ruled period even now it has been asked as big question when they say chinese apps are big danger to the Indian citizens. In the next 5 years or so most of the IT companies will move to AI based works and India is going to affect a lot when AI takes the place of minor works especially the tally and accounting works.
962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lost coins through bitcoin SV on: September 06, 2020, 03:59:50 PM
The Motive by crypto hackers is usually to get Bitcoins or crypto (money) and not to steal photos or other personnel files because they will gain nothing from them.

Yes and no. There are probably a lot of people that has 1, 10, 100 and even more BSV. If they have 100+ coins that they collect from a fork then there are chances that there is some of it in BTC as well.
If the crypto hackers collected all private stuff then the chance to find a big treasure is really big, isn't it? The hard part is to collect it since they need to use the wrench method Wink

Well, using the different social engineering tricks will be enough to convince your close circle in order to attract the interest which can be used for hacking other victims. Better to be safe than sorry, a clean install of OS, and using updated versions of spyware, malware programs may help to avoid such headaches. BTW, don't forget to check the BIOS and be sure the virus is not hiding there.

Ofc I will get a clean install of OS. Is a "windows reset" without keeping my personal files equal to a clean install? The only thing I don't really know what to do with is with my images and files. What if it's malware in them, or not..
Perhaps get a clean OS with the malware program again and see if the hash changes on the images (other dummy images). It's probably the only solution to know for sure?
I do have some wallets to other coins as well. Should I erase them and recover them by a seed?
Just copy all those files into an external hard disk and install new OS or if you have a backup and then scan the hard drive for any malware infections with good anti virus premium version by this way you can get those images and any files which are nit get infected with that malware.
963  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the crypto market saturated? on: September 06, 2020, 03:14:19 PM
According to CoinMarketCap, there are 6,588 cryptocurrencies being traded on the market right now. Almost every day we see new ambitious crypto projects being listed on major crypto exchanges, but only a select few are useful for the mainstream world. We already have Bitcoin and Ethereum, which are the most prominent cryptocurrencies on the market. Most (if not all) cryptocurrencies' code are based on either the Bitcoin or Ethereum blockchains. If we put aside additional features and base ourselves on the core blockchain protocol, then Bitcoin and Ethereum may be the only cryptocurrencies humanity needs to participate in the decentralized economy. I think that there are way too many cryptocurrencies and tokens on the market these days, considering that not everyone uses all of them for daily payments. Some developers launch new cryptocurrencies with no real use cases for the mainstream world just to make a quick buck.

Do you think the crypto market is saturated? If not, why? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Smiley

We can't define what is the exact saturation point of number of crypto currencies because it is not used for the purpose which is create for.IMHO yes it is overwhelming with lot of shit projects which is even gaining marketcap value due to ignorance of traders and smartness of whales.Furthermore these shit defi coming into the market and started collapsing the whole market with the word revolutionary idea so it might affect the crypto market in the short term but in the long term only the fittest will going to be survived.

CSK might not be your favorite team but you are always biased whenever Dhoni's name pops up  Tongue and @SaShiRaJaVu is also biased which he already accepted it. Grin
Agreed. Have been biased regarding MSD for a long time now, but MSD is not the only reason behind CSK having the most loyal fanbase in my opinion. There is the small leader(Raina), Watson, Bravo etc behind their consistent success.
I think every team have their own loyal fanbase. I have seen people being crazy for KKR some of them are due to SRK but still they have been supporting KKR from like inception of IPL. Same is the case with Mumbai Indians, i have been to Mumbai at time of IPL Mumbaikars blindly support Mumbai Indians, you will even see Ambani sponsored logo of Mumbai Indians floating in Arabian Sea off the Marine Drive. Even RCB has a fixes fan following largely due to Kohli and ABD even though they havent won the IPL so far. I think the teams who have had consistency in keeping players are the teams which have loyal fans. Because if you see teams like Delhi or Rajasthan I hardly see any consistent fan base of such teams.
MI got support from the big name Sachin tendulkar from the season 1 itself as well as every team got the support but which team got support all over the country which could be CSK then MI for sure, even if there is a match between CSK and any other team which played on their non home ground still we can see equal amount of cheerups.
965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any Hope for Libra? on: September 06, 2020, 12:41:37 PM
Basically libra was a stable coin project so it is not going to make big changes in the crypto currency market, it might ended the dominance of tether trading volume but due to regulation issues Libra project didn't get launched so for now they are waiting for the approval from the government.
966  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why isn't there an official bitcoin wallet? on: September 05, 2020, 08:26:18 PM
Bitcoin was created for giving financial freedom in the possibile ways but if we have something called official wallet then more bitcoins will be stored there so it could go against the decentralization, bitcoi core is something like official wallet for Bitcoin but the o e who created Bitcoin didn't mention it.

By the way,why we need an official wallet if every wallet which gives private keys to you!
967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BSV twitter account banned on: September 05, 2020, 07:17:29 PM
I rrally do not buy into this internet police of  a thing that that is going on on some of these social media. Any project can come up and tell you there are the original Bitcoin, but let the market decide, BCash, BSV, BTC are all clones and banning one because it doesn't fit into your business model is a wrong thing to do, if they can ban BSV account, that means they can ban BTC also
BTC doesn't own any official twitter accounts. Cool

No one is claiming the ownership of BTC or supermacy over all the crypto currencies but still it has been in the top so people trust the real decentralization more than the paid advertising shillers so called influencers.
https://twitter.com/Bitcoin
If I'm right then this is the official Bitcoin account at twitter. This account was created in 2011 and it still exists until now. Also, twitter only banned BSV because it copied BTC and made fake statements that confuse many people.
I didn't know it to be honest, but still it can't be an official unless satoshi proves that he own that account so chances of having an official badge is merely zero there. I don't like forked coins as well especially BCH also trying the same things for a long time, so can we take such same action against them as well?

969  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investment advice backed by real experience on: September 05, 2020, 04:00:36 PM
I invest defi project. My experience Dia project investment when this price 1$.I buy some this coin. Some time hold this coin. This coin good profit for me.I sell this coin price 4.5$.This token really good. This token user future bright.Day by day this token price economic so good. Now crypto market down,This token price down. When crypto market up this token price huge pump.
Smart people always think about winning but those weak people always think about the negative and feel worries. And maybe you are one of those lucky people who've been investing crypto and make money in just a few days.
That is why is much better to join the market and invest crypto that is not already in the hype because it has a huge possibility that it soon will strike unlike if they are already at the hype.
Tokens and bitcoin has lot of difference, tokens may not exists here even for months but bitcoin passed a decade when people said it is just a scam in 2010.Keep investing until you make the real profits, don't get attracted towards the trend because if it a trend then you are not the early investor so chances of getting dumped after your investment is highly possible.
970  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 05, 2020, 11:40:53 AM
Many people were supporting Chennai super kings just because fo MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina and Ravindra Jadeja too had their own fan following. Without these players, there wouldn't be a large number of people cheering for it. As the league is not going to be a home and away, People from Chennai are not going to go crazy just because they carry their name, only a few players like Murali Vijay and Narayan Jagadeseen actually represents Chennai.

That's not true!!!

I am a regular visitor to India, and I have seen a special affinity of Tamils with CSK. Almost everyone in Tamil Nadu support the Chennai Super Kings, and equate it with their own state team. And CSK do have a fair number of Tamil players in its squad. Murali Vijay and Jagadeesan are not the only ones. Onl thing is that they are not contracted by the CSK. But they do travel and train with the other members of the CSK squad.
If someone thinks only people from chennai supports CSK then they are wrong, as per the fan map and twitter analysis they had supports all over the world and RCB also had such type of support even though they are not winning the title not even for their qualifiers.

Did anyone see the advertisement for IPL 2021. Its a masterpiece of marketing which begins with a elderly Sardarji doctor coming out of his car after a hard days work and people dropping flower petals on him. Then they have a voiceover about how COVID-19 has changed our world. How it has increased distances but has brought us closer.
And then comes the amazing team colors and the voiceover about "Fir se aa raha hai"...Ohh, how it warms the heart after such a long winter of desperation. God, I'll miss the audience noise on the telecasts though. The ad just randomly came on my feed somewhere and i just can't find it on Google or youtube now. If anybody comes across it, do share a link

Go to Star sports official Youtube channel and you will be able to see IPL 2020 ads. Here is the link  - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCmqfX0S3x0I3uwLkPdpX03w

I did not find the sardarji ad that you are quoting here but found few others uploaded few hours ago.
The advertisement is heartwarming but I don't quite understand the concept clearly, can someone explain the meaning of that advertisement?
972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm dumping my coins because.. on: September 05, 2020, 12:01:46 AM
Dumping the coin could be for only one reason which is to cash out the profits,if you are selling after the price went too deep the. i wouldn't call it as dumping which is just selling or could be called as panic selling. And if that tokens are from bounty rewards then nothing to worry if you are getting some value for the token.
973  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency trading platform on: September 04, 2020, 10:27:02 PM
Decentralized exchanges are safer because we have full access to our wallets, but the transaction speeds provided are very slow compared to exchange platforms like Binance.
You mean the execution of trading orders as transaction speed?

Trading volumes of decentralized exchanges are no where near to binance or even shady exchanges that is why we need to have patience if we want to trade risk free but the main problem of complete DEX is conversion on different blockchains.
974  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Problem Gambling in the wake of covid-19 on: September 04, 2020, 09:18:06 PM
Loneliness is one of the major cause for any addiction and in the pandemic season most of the people are working from home so they are kind of stressed due to seeing their faces all the days for weeks and months which could trigger people to get addicted to something and into gambling a huge part might slipped into it for this reason along. And also no jobs could bring people to get addicted but not in a huge scale in my opinion.
975  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling sites should be careful of bringing eSports in on: September 04, 2020, 07:48:31 PM
Esports has no age restrictions on most of the games and the official tournaments giving huge reward for the players but about the esports gambling which itself can turns out into be a shady one like match fixings can happen.Crypto gambling sites aware of the age restrictions but it is not a big task to break the barrier if there is any on the internet world. So it should be self discipline related issue and nothing can be done from outside world.
976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How about the idea of decentralized stablecoin on: September 04, 2020, 06:01:07 PM
Decentralized stable coin? The on what based the value will of the coin you are creating! And decentralized couldn't have fixed value if it does then it is not really decentralized.Just need to understand more about the decentralization and stable coins if you are going to create a coin. And more to add with this is no pre mine, sounds like you lost mind while thinking about this idea. Grin
977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Defi Effect - What makes DeFi not reliable? on: September 04, 2020, 05:02:56 PM
Investors reaction is going to be like "Am I joke to You Defi?" Cheesy

That is what I expected but for now this just happened with only one project but it doesn't take lot of time for the whole defi market to go value less and this also could be a reason in the price drop in the overall crypto project.
978  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it time to think of cash and bank deposits as different currencies? on: September 04, 2020, 02:33:40 PM
Can the government really limit the withdrawal of their deposits on the bank? Of course, in fact, yes. Moreover, if it is concerned with the bankruptcy. There will be limited to withdraw, moreover tot eh cash.
Here, we can find out many e-wallets that is used in the country. The use of this can really reduce the use of cash money for transactions.

But let's see, if they limit the withdrawal and they start to make cash as soon as possible, will they really run out the cash?
It may probably encourage the emergence of the cryptocurrency in every country.
But now banks are not going to limit their withdrawals because cash flow is very important for any economy to get recovered from this pandemic crisis so how they are going to stop the circulating supply? But as a user many people are interested in something which doesn't have depreciating value at the moment and gold will be better option than any other thing for now so most of the withdrawals are for investments in my opinion. For the bankruptcy issue banks might increase their minimum balance limit so they won't go bankrupt.
979  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Supreme leader's twitter account hacked - but that's not the main issue! on: September 03, 2020, 04:03:38 PM
Twitter hackers strike again! The twitter account of India's supreme leader Narendra Modi is hacked to seek bitcoin payment. But that's not the main problem! See below,

My dad was reading newspapers from his tab while having morning tea and suddenly uttered - "this bitcoin thing is ruining everything online" (definitely he used local language but it is the literal translation)!

While I immediately cleared his doubt about bitcoin but that's how majority of the common people have reacted because bitcoin is now associated with all small/major hacks happening worldwide!

Sometimes I really feel, it's good to have a centralized authority who can take corrective measures to protect the goodwill of bitcoin. We are loosing reputation fast! Sad to see such an innovation like Bitcoin loosing its reputation and credibility due to few mere miscreants!

Nothing is going to stay strong until it faces criticism, surely it damages the reputation of bitcoin but atleast more people might heard about the word bitcoin so they will understand what it is created for when legitimate payment methods accepted somewhere in their country.
980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid big commissions to pay ethereum ? on: September 03, 2020, 05:15:53 AM
I don't know if it is sure and safe but supposedly i pay and not pay such cosmic commissions as you are now. How can i do this ?
If you lower the gas fee from recommended gas fee then the confirmation time will get longer and if it is too low then the transaction will get stuck for weeks or until you increase the price again using the same hash.

So if you want to pay less fee then better go for other altcoins which is more cheaper or wait for the ethereum to get back into normal.
