Raina quit IPL2020 on account of his family issue but Bhajji skip IPL2020 because of corona pandemic, yet very reasonable point to get understand. We must respect their perspective anyway it's difficult to imagine CSKs without Raina and Bhaji as a fan, I keep missing both of them. Can't do anything for that except supporting them.
Their absence is something that can't be reversed. But at the same time, CSK without these players is not recognizable. These 4-5 players form the soul of CSK. I am talking about Suresh Raina, Harbhajan Singh, MS Dhoni, Ravindra Jadeja.etc. New players may be able to replace them, but the fans may not be comfortable in supporting a squad which looks drastically different. Many people were supporting Chennai super kings just because fo MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina and Ravindra Jadeja too had their own fan following. Without these players, there wouldn't be a large number of people cheering for it. As the league is not going to be a home and away, People from Chennai are not going to go crazy just because they carry their name, only a few players like Murali Vijay and Narayan Jagadeseen actually represents Chennai.

Did anyone see the advertisement for IPL 2021. Its a masterpiece of marketing which begins with a elderly Sardarji doctor coming out of his car after a hard days work and people dropping flower petals on him. Then they have a voiceover about how COVID-19 has changed our world. How it has increased distances but has brought us closer. And then comes the amazing team colors and the voiceover about "Fir se aa raha hai"...Ohh, how it warms the heart after such a long winter of desperation. God, I'll miss the audience noise on the telecasts though. The ad just randomly came on my feed somewhere and i just can't find it on Google or youtube now. If anybody comes across it, do share a link

That's not true!!! I am a regular visitor to India, and I have seen a special affinity of Tamils with CSK. Almost everyone in Tamil Nadu support the Chennai Super Kings, and equate it with their own state team. And CSK do have a fair number of Tamil players in its squad. Murali Vijay and Jagadeesan are not the only ones. Onl thing is that they are not contracted by the CSK. But they do travel and train with the other members of the CSK squad.

Yes just saw another watchman ad. A watchman who has been hardwork in corona time is payed a tribute by the society members by installing a big screen to watch IPL together. I always knew they are going to market IPL for corona this time. Now i don't know surely but I have a feel that most of the people now would feel normality coming back to life after IPL kicks in. Moreover I am curious how much TRP loss will these media houses face after IPL lol they have earned a huge money this lockdown by showing shit.

Was expecting close game but in favor of OZ that we are missing out Joe Root, Ben Stokes and Jason Roy.
Joe Root can't make into the T-20 squad anyway , England already got fair amount of T-20 specialist. Yeah agree, it tough to place Root into the T20 squad. But damn, looks like I missed out the entertainment as I went to sleep in the hopes that Aussies would win the match at ease. Everything going wrong with CSK. Players tested positive, Raina left and now Bhajji gone. What's going on?
Everything is just fine, just a few bumps. We are just missing out 2 players but we have MS Dhoni, R Jadeja, M Vijay, K Jadhav, A Rayudu,R Gaikwad(+ve), D Chahar(+ve), S Thakur, N Jagadeesan and offshore players like S Watson, D Bravo, I Tahir, Fabby, M Santner, J Hazlewood, Ngidi, S Curram. Shit i missed out P Chawla If that's not enough, they'll look for replacements like Y Pathan and M Tiwary who were unsold in the auction. So everything is just fine on the CSK side

But damn, looks like I missed out the entertainment as I went to sleep in the hopes that Aussies would win the match at ease. After the first couple of wickets Australia was struggling and England was able to put pressure and they were not able to connect the ball and i was wondering what they were doing in the last few overs as they were taking singles when they needed boundaries and it was evident that they were struggling because of the lack of match practice.

Australia was playing the match after a long time while England are playing it for the last couple of months. Due to this, the Aussies were not able to handle the pressure and lost by a little margin. England was lucky to win this match and this also means that we would have another exciting match tomorrow between these two teams.

This is still very shocking win for England as Australia completely controling all things but they choke like Pakistan and give this victory to England for another enjoyment now we have second twenty/20 tomorrow hopefully we will have another entertaining match like first because right now we need this cricket just paisa wasul.

^^^ They are giving 10/11 odds for England (1.90) and 11/10 odds for Australia (2.10). So the gambling sites are slightly favoring England for the remaining matches. I would say that the odds look very attractive for Australia. I would rather make a bet in favor of Australia for the remaining two matches. Even if they win one of these matches, I will end up in profit.

These odds are only for the next match and they changes every minute once the match is in progress. Since England won the last match, the England is considered favorites by the bookies. This can change soon if Australia bounce back in the next match. However, you can bet on Australia and hopefully you will win too.

Speaking of IPL franchise fan following, RCB has the most loyal fan base IMO. Virat & co lose their mojo in every season but it doesn't matter to their fans, they just want to watch Virat-AB combination and ofc pissing off Rohitians. Have to disagree here. RCB does have a passionate fanbase who keeps cheering for their team without ever giving up which is phenomenal and worth appreciating, but CSK has the most loyal fanbase in my opinion among all the clubs. The CSK fans are absolutely insane in a good way. This fanbase is the primary reason why MSD and crew continue to perform consistently year after year. CSK is not my favorite, but I admire their fanbase. They never gave up on their team despite the 2 year ban. They even attend their training sessions in hordes.
