But is that on the 24TH version of their T2T series still?

Canaan has great pricing compared to inno's odd structure as the new unit is less than the one you got from us.
962  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: US Tariff Ruling N297495 = 2.6% mandatory tariff on bitcoin mining hardware on: October 28, 2018, 08:20:45 PM
Does anyone know the laws in regards to used miners? Do you pay based off of what you paid for the miner or is it a set fee per miner [same price as if it was new]?

Laws? I imagine your just asking if duties apply to import of used products? Yes, same as if new but still only regarding the purchase value. Make sure there is an invoice accompanied inside the package and communicate proper rulings.

Weird the 25TH @ 2050w Inno looks more efficient than than 20TH @ 1800w Avalon, imo. Then I don't have either.

You can contact our info line for options since this thread should be based on the M3 not reference other asics. Or simply start a thread in mining support for questions you have.
965  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: New firmware for antminer S9 - less power consumption on: October 25, 2018, 06:39:47 PM
Running on 115 S9s now.  I'm seeing about 15% in power savings, but the hash rate drops slowly over 24 hours until I'm at about a 6% hash loss (averaged across all the miners).  Rebooting brings them back to full hash.

Still dropping back down though? Mine is doing the same, reboot, hash up but steadily declines.

Is this a mem leak? Or maybe fixing the frequency?

Hi, we need to solicit help for descriptions of an assembled miner and their control boards. We have a good description of the actual chips and some parts but most of the documentation we find is lacking a bit for our taste to present to the CBP. We want ensure our submissions are thorough.

Outside of aesthetics of housing, fan and asic chips, more details on the guts will be helpful.

For the control board we need a overview of function and materials used.

Appreciate the help and thank you to those who have donated. We're really thankful this hasn't impacted our small team to severely or service to end users. Our plan is to work through materials, parts, then backwards on units from most current across all known and verified units from china.

Yea small derp because of hash rate. I just changed payout addresses so it starts like that for everyone as they ramp up.
968  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: New firmware for antminer S9 - less power consumption on: October 24, 2018, 09:42:45 PM
Did a restart and now the unit is hashing average of 14TH last hour on ckpool. Antminer UI reads 13.7 again. Reader is ordered. Will update then.

Well I'm not getting great hash still. Down to 13.3TH on a unit that's was 13.7TH prior. Ordering a new meter. We'll see what it's drawing at soon.

You could request from us, might help ROI some. ti's should be available to.

We have access to wholesale computer hardware. We'll probably see listings for GPU's in the next couple weeks but our applications for tariff exemptions are taking precedence with all our staff. Simply make a detailed request of needs and we'll issue quotes based on product availability.
972  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: ASIC Miner with Dual PSU on: October 23, 2018, 02:30:11 PM
Not sure what unit you're looking at but there really isn't a on/off switch like your thinking typically. You want to power up a couple boards with one and another board with the CB. Still you'll want to turn everything off in reverse other wise you'll draw a fair amount of power with just power to the boards. Unless you have a switched pdu.

I am watching Jimmy Fallon and the tonight show.  And think about how good that lamb tasted.

Now it tastes a little bit better. Mmmmm

Sounds like a bromance.
974  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Overt AsicBoost Released today? on: October 23, 2018, 05:11:48 AM
If it benefits to mine with AB whether covert or overt, it's just bad business to not to on every piece of hardware. If this has been practice it's been a poor one.

Power of lamb, I did a pork loin on the grill. What else was on the menu tonight?

Working on ck's pool.

I haven't measured draw but my s9 is running cooler temps than before. I was getting over 13.7th prior and since have slowly dropped to 13.6th with no changes last hour. Everything is stock except fan speed is a static to 90%.
979  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Musings on the state of the home mining hardware on: October 22, 2018, 08:43:02 PM
Underclocked, or undervolted? The S7 and S7LN can undervolt approaching 0.22J/GH; the S7LN's lower power density and larger heatsinks can make it almost silent with stock fans and still put up 2TH. S7-F1 firmware should work too if you want a single fan. You can see 4TH around 900W with a good machine.

Just underclocked I believe. Used the standard GUI frequency setting. Can't remember the setting specifically but I recall about 3.5TH with those fans I mentioned at 100%. Then the stock fan at 25-30% are reasonably quiet comparatively as well for indoor use.

Did you take a electricity draw measurement yet on the new ASICBoost s9 firmware?

No reader sorry. I need to get a new one, next trip to HD probably.
