Did you make a back up? if so, you should be able to revert to that. If not, the prior firmware should be able to be installed.
I would not test it on the S9i - Bitmain has stated that the S9i version will be out later next week.
I can put there previous versions of firmware - I do have those, but it also didnt help. I gave there the same FW as before but one of the boards is missing...

Hmm - I have seen where people had issues when they installed it but not when they revert back. which one are you using? the one from the 22nd or the one from the 23rd? They put out a revised version yesterday.

hmm if it is a Firmware issue - then reverting should fix any issues you get from the new one. can you find any errors in the log?

Well I'm not getting great hash still. Down to 13.3TH on a unit that's was 13.7TH prior. Ordering a new meter. We'll see what it's drawing at soon.

Below is a copy/paste of your log issue. I’ve only put LPM firmware on 2 machines so far and haven’t had any problems. You could try different firmware as others have stated or reboot a few times to see if it comes back. retry Chain[J6] has 0 asic Chain[J7] has 63 asic Chain[J8] has 63 asic

I had one upgraded S9 that I have not been able to get back online at all after updating, will try swapping out the controller with another working one to see if that is what went bad.
Beyond that, seemed to work.

So I upgraded from the 10/22 to the 10/23 firmware and I am still not seeing a drop in power usage at all....I really dont understand why this isnt working for me. I need to get this figured out as I have 8800 s9s waiting to be flashed once I do.
EDIT: Turns out the pool I was using CLAIMED to have support for it but it actually does not. I pointed a machine at kano.is and saw an immediate 200w power reduction.
This must be something completely different than the ASICboost used in the Halong machines as those would not connect to an incompatible pool, which is what caused my confusion. As usual bitmain seems to have done it better than the competition despite all the hate towards them

Probably you are using NH or sth like that - you have to use compatible pool - kano.is or shitty antpool... NH it works but no power drop...

is there any way to flash all together? or one by one? just wondering

Did a restart and now the unit is hashing average of 14TH last hour on ckpool. Antminer UI reads 13.7 again. Reader is ordered. Will update then.

Be aware of this firmware!
Many of mine S9 have 1 dead board just after flashing this firmware and Im not able to repair it.
If there is anybody with the same problem, please let me know...
Old firmware didnt help, its all 13,5ths versions.
Same problem here. Updated seven 13.5 S9s. 3x work fine, running cooler. 3x missing one hashboard. 1x missing two hashboards. No FW for the 13.5 available on BM site. Installed braiins OS on one of the units with one missing board. Still a board missing with that FW. Boards may have fried.... Tw0rak, or anyone else for that matter, if you find a fix please share.

what do you mean there is no FW for the 13.5 on BM site? I see 4 other FW versions on BM site other than this new FW.

depends on which version of 13.5 you have. did you not make a back up before you upgraded to the LPM one? if so, you could easily restore from that one. the first 3 are for ones with fixed frequency - I dont believe the 13.5's ever had fixed frequency - if so, that would be the 4th one that you need. provided it is an S9 version of the 13.5 and not the S9i version.

as stated above they will release firmware for S9i soon and I'd suggest you to wait a bit more even though I have tested different FWs on different models and some of them are working just fine

hi, do you experience lesser or slightly lower hashing on s9?
