ok I am in... (the coin so green yadi yada  ) How do we register exactly ? (I might be late though) Read the op, registration isn't open yet. that's what I saw, however I don't understand why posting a week in advance for that... If you want 500 people to mine your coin, you start a pre-ann page two weeks beforehand to build some buzz and interest. If you want 500 people to take your coin for free, you still need a week to get the buzz and interest. true except, I never saw that ANN before today (and I clearly spend too much time on that forum) It was posted early to give everyone a fair chance of seeing the thread and be ready to register. As there are only 500 stakes, didn't want to post for example the day the reg opened and lots of people complaining they never had a chance. |

The distribution model is a first. I'm very interested to see how it plays out. I hope I can get a stake of coins. I'll be one of the people that hold onto their stake for the bonus coins 30 days later. You seem trustworthy enough to do what you are saying. So you holding those 2mil coins is fine by me. Now if you want this coin to take off and have trust from investors/exchanges you'll have to escrow those coins.
You don't seem to mention a premine, I'm assuming you are keeping a stake for yourself? I can understand wanting to get paid for making a coin and I think its completely fine. If you intend on only taking one stake for yourself you should say so, it will make the coin look that much better. If you are taking more than one stake then tell us that too. I don't think anyone is going to get upset about you getting paid.
One last thing. You may want to be picky as to who you give stakes to. With only 500 you could have 500 member status or higher accounts apply. I would recommend that you give out the coins to well established accounts first. To avoid sock puppetry crap where one guy has 10 accounts type of shit. Post the names and corresponding account level for even more credibility once the stakes are handed out.
An escrow is perfectly fine with me. I'll contact escrow.ms on here and ask he will do it for us. Yes, 1 stake for myself, the rest are distributed. For bounties and future development, will rely on stake holders donating a small amount. If everyone does that we will have a healthy balance to work with. All signups will be manually checked (a list will also be posted). |

Doesn't mean new minted coins will be received in 3 hours. The coins have been mined and ready to distribute. A explorer will be online before any stakes are sent. If any news coins are minted, they will be distributed along with the bonus, so the only benefit is to those who hold for 30 days! I will participate.
It seems that distribution will be really fair.
Minimum stake age of 3 hours is nice.
Interest of 7% is good to hold coins in wallet.

You will probably never see stake in 3 hours anyway. So it doesnt really matter. Please, can you explain why it doesn't really matter. Did you ever see 8h stake on Blackcoin? No. The best i saw was around 2 days - and i was easily in top50 richlist. You would have to own enourmous amounts of coin in order to have high enough priority for 3hour stake. The only person who will benefit from 3h stake cummulative effect is the developer with hes premine. I would have to look in to the source code for more detailed answer, but i can imagine, that this coin is no different than most. Anyway. It does not matter since interest is not compounding much with 7%. In best case you will end up around 8-9%. |

I notice in the OP the 2,000,000 KTK bonus coins will be put in a wallet for the 30 days which can be tracked in the block explorer, does this mean KTK will have a block explorer from launch? If so, I suggest you contact coinmarketcap as close to launch as possible to get listed, the sooner you're on their the better.

Yeah I didn't imply it was ur fault anyway, I think the forum mistakes my account for some kind of bot cause I tend to ask a lot of questions in topics(thus thinking its bot posting?, not sure). Your updated post makes the coin really interesting to me, I have been searching the forums since day 1 of my registration and its perhaps one of the most clear and detailed posts in the last week. Do you count us having declared interest as part of the original 500 or is there some kind of BTC buy in? Im just a small timer, thus will surely hold the coin for full month.

It's fair in that everyone has the same chance of registering for a stake. The OP will be updated later this week with the exact date it opens, and it's likely to take at least a week before all stakes are gone. It's not a ninja launch where the ANN thread is posted hours before PoW mining starts and lasts 3 days! It's not a paid IPO scam and delivery nothing! It's free and this pre-ann gives ample time for anyone interested. Registration will have some restrictions to help again people signing up for multiple stakes. All the info will be posted in the update later this week.please no distribution limited to those with social media like facebook or twitter, as thats very limiting, not to mention exceedingly gameable.
