For now, I feel that Tottenham can actually still create some options in their attack despite the absence of Kane there but there are still some players like Son, Kulusevski, Maddison and Richalrison who can and are still quite good in attack even though the finishing is a little reduced but it can still be forced just looking at some other conditions for the defence it seems a little complicated in my opinion.
Their defence still has many gaps. Brentford's 2 goals came from 11 shots and 8 on target all when Brentford only had 30 per cent possession.

This will clearly be a problem if Tottenham let it continue to drag on because with Brentford opponents alone they are very troubled what if the stronger opponents they face.
harry kane's departure to bayern had a major impact on the sharpness of tottenham's attack line (moreover, Richalison as a center forward is not as good as Harry Kane), this is evident from the 18 shots made by tottenham only 2 were goals, while for their midfield there was still no difference from the previous season, i'm quite surprised why postecoglou didn't improve that.

for newcastle, i really salute their compactness, managing to score 5 goals against aston villa is not easy, now they are leading the EPL, will they be able to maintain their performance!
But it was also because of the good performance of Flekken under the bar as the last defence of Brentford.
There were some important saves in this match, such as when he kept out Kane and Richalrison.
On the other hand I don't think that Kane's absence from the squad due to leaving has no impact because it definitely has an impact but when looking at the comparison with Kane in the squad with this match I don't think it's too much different and maybe it's not ethical to compare it now because it's only the first match and we still have to wait for how they do in other matches first before judging Tottenham but this defence is still quite chaotic for me.

Tottenham Hotspur should start thinking of how to make that team come back to life, even if they're not going to win any trophy which we all know but they should just try their best to be in that state of competing for top 4.
I never expected them to draw in today's encounter but it seems like without their key striker (Harry Kane) is going to be very difficult for them to come back to that competitive era. If they continue to play around like this I believe that in the next 5 games they're going to be in the second half of the table.

Tottenham's major problem is their defense. There are so many lapses in their defense last season, and still yet they are unable to fix it. I was expecting the Tottenham club to do more signing of defensive players in the transfer window but they didn't. How are we sure they can make up to the 7th position of the premier league table this season since every team wants to be tough than they were last season
Having said that, if Tottenham can work on their defense, am sure they will be winning matches as expected of them. Their frontline players are still okay despite the absence of Harry Kane.
Summer transfer is still open at least a few more weeks before it closes and this can be maximised by Tottenham only maybe in this case Postecoglou still has a little hope for their defence even though the cooperation of the players is still not compact. because if you see the first goal before the penalty and the second goal there are many players who defend but quite a lot of players also realise that their marking of Brentford attackers is weak.
This should be noted if they expect better results in the EPL this season.

963  Economy / Economics / Re: what do we thinking about investment target? on: August 12, 2023, 09:13:38 PM
Investment targets are of course still very broad and complex when discussed, basically each individual has their own personal targets. The investment objective will of course lead to seeking the greatest possible profit, in terms of the form of investment I myself have the view that real estate and gold can be a safe opportunity. I think apart from being able to keep the value of money from decreasing in the event of inflation, the opportunities are still great and the sources of funds that I have are still limited.

So there's no harm for me to try, but of course this is just my personal view. Everyone returns to their dreams, wisdom is needed before making decisions.
Every investment has its own level of risk and it does not mean that when we invest we do not have any risk by thinking it will be very safe because the fact is that everything has its own risks.

But of course with that risk we become aware that all forms that we do must certainly be based on more understanding so that we are not wrong in approaching the investments we make.
Experimenting is definitely not the right thing if it is not based on seriousness, especially when talking about finance, it is not something that can be tried without thinking about the risks so that in this case you can indeed try but of course it must be done with seriousness and learning done so that the results of the experiments carried out are maximised.
964  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN: Give people time! on: August 12, 2023, 08:07:23 PM

3. We should always tell people to go do their own research about bitcoin after giving them some preaching about it. Doing their own research from with what they  get online can strengthen their conviction about what they've have been told.

What do you think about this?
I like this point.
Because at the end of the day, you should never suggest buying anything because this will make people dependent, especially for new people. When we try to suggest to buy at a price of xx for example, this will become a newbie's dependence on the profit that boils down to the price we give and when his purchase is not what he expects he will definitely come back again and again.
So this will actually make them more dependent and do not want something that they think is complicated like to learn and others because they will only follow what they are told before which in the end this will be less precise.
Learning is important and as much as possible if you really want to invest in something in this case bitcoin, it would be better to learn first from scratch so as not to depend on other people's speculation and research.

No wonder last season there was a petition to get Haaland out of the EPL because this is definitely not something that other strikers can easily match lol.
What a pity petition  Grin Grin
I wonder how could they think about making this.
Well aside from that, we have known how Haaland performing. Although this is still the beginning of this season, I am still sure enough that his performance will be as good as the previous season, no wonder. Except he gets injured but I personally never think and never expect this.
Their first match looked easy enough for Man City, and won 3 goals without reply. but unfortunately, bad things happened to de Bruyne, hopefully his condition is not bad.
Yep, it's unfortunate that De Bruyne was the victim of this first win. And looking at Pep's statement, this is the same problem as before when he also suffered an injury in the Champions League final that made him have to rest longer.
But looking at some of the news at the moment I don't know how long he will be in the treatment room and it's also hoped that it will be sooner so that he can return to play because it's a loss at the start of the season to not have De Bruyne in the squad.

Haaland is not human Cheesy
No wonder last season there was a petition to get Haaland out of the EPL because this is definitely not something that other strikers can easily match lol.

His brace in this game and the quick goal really put him in the spotlight for his performance.
Haaland's opening to the Premiership this season is very impressive and deserves praise. btw I'm looking forward to seeing who will be able to rival Haaland in top scoring this season after Kane leaves for Bayern.

There's a decent game to watch tomorrow and I'm expecting good things for Arsenal and Newcastle.
On the other hand there is also a good Big Match between Chelsea and Liverpool with new faces in the Chelsea squad and Liverpool's midfield.
It looks like Erling Haaland will be at the forefront as the top scorer this season after seeing his actions in the first match which successfully scored 2. Apart from that we see Harry Kane name as the closest competitor to Haaland last season but this season Harry Kane has gone to Bayern Munich so only haaland is on the front line to be the top scorer this season.

But we'll also see more stickers that can provide strong competition for top scorers this season like Hojlund and Salah. I think we will still be presented with many big surprises in every match that will take place this season.
There will definitely be more young names that can compete now and hey do you see Newcastle now? Isak looks like he will try to create some competition with Brace in this match.
Last season he was hampered by some fitness issues and hopefully this isn't just an early blip so there will be an interesting competition for top scorer and certainly more hope for Newcastle this season Smiley

With the news about Klopp who will leave Liverpool at the end of the season, then maybe I will worry about Liverpool performance this season. Because reportedly, Klopp is not happy with the club owner who is not generous to buy players in the transfer market this time, so this makes Klopp no longer comfortable at Liverpool. So yes, with this incident, which previously I was quite sure Liverpool will competed strongly in the top zone this season, then I became pessimistic about Liverpool this season because maybe of the bad effects that would result from disharmony in the team.
Well in this case I think this is still quite far away because seeing rumours like this even Klopp has felt it last season where he was also quite threatened because of his not so good performance but he still survived.
With 3 new players in their midfield I think this performance will be very reliable. Even if he does eventually leave at the end of the season but he will definitely remain professional by finishing his season well this time.

Trying to bet again with special offers from Sportsbet: https://twitter.com/Sportsbetio/status/1689980786383245312

Man City, Arsenal, and Newcastle a bit realistic to win.

I did the same in this case, because it was possible for the first match and the odds of 3.0 are definitely very tempting.
I've also added another separate bet on the Manchester City vs Burnley match where I see pretty good odds on both clubs scoring.

odds 1.77 and my first win in EPL betting this season Grin

btw what I said earlier about the discussion will widen towards the comparison of gold and bitcoin seems to really happen Cheesy

It seems to me that bitcoin is going to continue to eat gold's lunch, just as it has done in the past 10 years or more, so on an individual level you likely need to figure out how much to waste your time, energy and value to place it into gold... but whatever, each of us need to decide for ourselves the extent to which we might end up diluting our bitcoin investment into things like gold... I would suggest don't waste your time and money to invest any more than 10% of the value of your bitcoin investment into gold, but hey, you can do what you like.

Your observation is valid that Bitcoin can potentially replace Gold as a store of value gradually in the long run.. However, it is important to note that Gold has been considered as an important asset and hedge against fiat currencies since the dawn of human civilization. Furthermore, a significant potion of world population is unfamiliar with Bitcoin, but they know the value of Gold. In this context, it will take long time before Bitcoin can effectively replace Gold. Therefore, it is a good suggestion to incorporate Gold in our investment portfolio to certain extent, thereby achieving diversification benefits.
It always depends on the type of investor you want to be and the level of risk you're comfortable with in your investment strategy. Bitcoin offers an opportunity for those with higher risk tolerance, while physical gold provides a long-term and secure investment option. One thing I am certain about is that Bitcoin poses a threat to gold due to its use of blockchain technology, which offers strong security for owners. Unlike gold, which can be stolen if physically accessed, Bitcoin's digital nature provides protection. If enhanced security measures can be applied to various exchanges, then why would I keep my assets physically visible when I could store them digitally and keep them hidden?
Although indeed all have freedom but when saying safe in investment I think there is no such thing as safe and comfortable even if it is in gold. an example of this maybe we can see the words of @naira https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5132720.msg62675874#msg62675874

On the other hand, I think we now don't need to compare gold or bitcoin because our focus is on bitcoin and talking about threats, hmm come on only people who really don't like bitcoin say this is a threat to gold.

It is difficult for his current condition. As you said, Neymar's injury problem is a problem because with this, Neymar's performance will definitely suffer regardless.
And I agree with what you said when the salary makes this player difficult. There are some big clubs who still expect Neymar and this season it is the same as some EPL clubs who want to bring him but the problem is he has no problem with going anywhere it's just that he wants the same salary as at PSG making another consideration for clubs who want to sign him.
Currently Neymar is one of the players with a high enough salary and with his condition that is always problematic due to injury then of course this will be very calculated because the club also does not want to pay dearly for players who have the potential for recurrent injuries even though he is still very useful.
Somehow I tend to think that Barcelona has a great chance of reuniting with Neymar. PSG are certainly waiting for Barcelona's approach for Neymar, but I don't think it will be easy if Barcelona don't make PSG a reasonable offer. While Barcelona, which still has financial problems, is still having trouble managing its finances, even the future of some of its young players is always in question, like Ansu Fati, who could possibly leave at any time.

Neymar has also had offers from the Saudi Pro League, MLS and the Premier League, but I think Barcelona is the team that suits him. Barcelona need to move to sign Neymar if they are still interested, surely he would be a great signing for Barcelona.
You already know what the reason is that he will not be able to reunite with Barcelona again.
The condition of Barcelona now even though it has begun to improve but seeing from the salary that Neymar expects and at the current price of bringing Neymar it is just a waste of money for Barcelona.
In the end I feel this will not happen because with the condition of Neymar's performance and the price that PSG will give in the clause obviously it will be very difficult for Barcelona to match and in the end this is the same as speculation about Messi I think.

Neymar's contract runs until 2025 so until then unless he wants to go to MLS or the big money Arab League I think we will still see him at PSG.

Caicedo, Chelsea and liverpool have become a trending topic on twitter now, with hundreds thousand of tweets related to these things. The fight between liverpool and chelsea has not ended yet. Chelsea is still having last chance to get caicedo from liverpool.
The club has ability to beat liverpool easily in bidding caicedo but that depends on chelsea itself whether the club gonna try to force itself to keep bidding on caicedo or not. It's unpredictable to see liverpool was doing U turn for lavia and moves to the caicedo.
There is still enough time for chelsea to beat liverpool. Lavia can be a good option for the club but i expect there will be a lot of competitors to get him. The fact that if chelsea is still also competing to get olise too.
Olise has been known as king of assist in EPL. It will be so good if chelsea will be going to the lavia + olise/kudus instead of caicedo only. I prefer chelsea to take this option.

From recent reports it seems certain that Liverpool are the winners of the Caicedo race.

The fee is understood to be worth £111m, with Moises Caicedo set to travel to Liverpool on Friday for a medical

Liverpool made another surprise after in the previous transfer was a bend for Gakpo who was already preparing to Manchester United then now Chelsea is the victim  Roll Eyes
They always surprise even before I didn't see any news about Caicedo and Liverpool but a few days ago they surprised with an even bigger offer than Chelsea and Brighton's clause.
Now it looks like we are just waiting for Liverpool's official introduction of Caicedo.

Hey @LFC_Bitcoin looks like you're in good spirits today  Grin
972  Economy / Economics / Re: Real estate vs cryptocurrencies vs business on: August 10, 2023, 09:53:48 PM
I think business should be the cornerstone because it will certainly lead you to something better if you have your own business or venture. As for when investing in crypto or other assets such as real estate, this will only be a sideline because it is clear that business is the initial benchmark.

It is important to realise that investments are only meant to support you in the next few years or maybe even your old age so there must still be a main job or business to support your needs and to have investments it is also clear that we must have a source of income and in this case a business or main job is the right thing.

Talking about Real Estate, I think this is if you have a very large amount of money to do. This is a business where everything is difficult to predict because property can sometimes be very fast to produce, it can also be the opposite. On the other hand when we want to be in this kind of space, we also have to be aware of capital repairs and other things that could be a stumbling block so I think this will only be my last choice after business and investment in crypto.
973  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: August 10, 2023, 09:30:09 PM

If Neymar Jr goes to Barcelona I think he will be able to perform better than PSG. Because the players of the Barcelona team have performed exceptionally well at the moment. If Neymar joins the team, the team will be even stronger.

Neymar hasn't performed bad for PSG, his scoring statistics are good and among the best the league has seen I think. His issue is how often he is injured and how much he wants as a salary. If he is free of injures and in a good physical shape, he can help any team no matter whether it is Barcelona or some other top team. But is a player worth the money when a coach doesn't have the slightest idea about how many games the player will be able to play?
It is difficult for his current condition. As you said, Neymar's injury problem is a problem because with this, Neymar's performance will definitely suffer regardless.
And I agree with what you said when the salary makes this player difficult. 974  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 10, 2023, 08:42:14 PM
The protest by Juventus fans yesterday was one of the least expected of them to voice out their dissatisfaction of the club's decision to sign Romelu Lukaku and I don't expect the club to go ahead and sign a player that majority of the fans aren't happy with his presence.
So much have been said concerning the future of Lukaku which I believe wants to remain in Italy but the earlier he leaves Italy and go to a club where his services will be appreciated the better for his Football career
I also prefer that Romelu Lukaku is at a club where his presence is greatly appreciated because it is not only about where he is, but to what extent he will be appreciated by many when he is at a club. This is about a career and it really needs to be considered carefully from now on because the season will start soon so there is no more time to think about things that are still uncertain even though Romelu Lukaku himself still wants to be in Italy this season.
Protests about Lukaku's rejection by Juventus fans seem to have taken place even since last month. And then now it happened again. And yes, this is not good for the player himself (Lukaku) and it will also be bad for the club if they continue to push for Lukaku.

Well, I'd be happier if Lukaku could find another club that could appreciate his services as a player more. I'm sure there are other clubs who want Lukaku. It's just that this player still has a price that is not cheap. So that small clubs don't dare to make an offer to Chelsea about Lukaku.

And recently it was reported that Chelsea had also withdrawn from the hunt for Vlahovic. The Chelsea side have been unsure about Vlahovic recently. So it seems that exchange negotiations could be canceled if you look at the current situation.
Talking about this I think for Juventus fans to do something silly like this is nothing new.
I remember when Ronaldo came who was welcomed like a hero but when he left a lot of fans seemed to rebuke and do something inappropriate to Ronaldo. Likewise at this time because the conditions seem to be repeating themselves with Lukaku.
But on the other hand, even though they are fans but management is the one who makes decisions so when management and Allegri feel Lukaku is suitable then it can't be done anymore.

Because in the end this kind of stigma will change again if Lukaku can give a good performance at Juventus. On the other hand in this case business is something that is considered. The advantage with Lukaku + 40 million or even more can be obtained by Juventus because the exchange option with Dusan is still very large so that in addition to the attack line remaining safe, they also get fresh funds to fix the financial problems Juventus face.

The rumours were on for Kane to join Bayern Munich for 3 seasons and more. I think he wont be happy that he is leaving the club without a trophy but with Bayern Munich he will be able to win a title for sure. Bayern Munich with Kane completed the team, but Tottenham will be really weak.

At some stage he will retire or leave on a free contract and Spurs will get £0 for him. It might make sense for them to sell now and try to get 2 or 3 players who won’t be as good as him individually but as a collective could make the team better.

I think for Kane, he is too good to end his career without winning a trophy. Now is the time for him to move imo.
Seeing what Tottenham are doing by continuing to try to get a big deal actually for now it is more than enough and as you say with this condition then obviously they benefit because the sale of Kane can be a good capital to bring some players as a coating.
Even if losing Kane will also provide a gap especially for the attack which may have problems but of course regeneration is important and they already know this consequence.
Currently, Gift Orban's name is predicted to be the ideal replacement for Kane and it is possible that with 30 million Gift Orban can be brought from Gent.

The context of the initial discussion still leads to bitcoin so I think including other options such as shitcoin or other investments in this case gold has deviated from the path that should be the initial discussion because in the end when discussing other investments this will only make the discussion wider and make comparisons that are actually unnecessary.
I think our focus should be on the initial discussion where bitcoin is the main focus in this discussion.
977  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: August 09, 2023, 03:42:47 PM
It will be more worth it, apart from our safe portopolio on the other hand we can also still buy when bitcoin experiences a temporary decline and make our portopolio fatter.
That would be much better especially for those who do not really understand about analysis and only do based on the analysis and speculation of others.

When it comes to analyzing our own finances, each of us should be attempting to understand how to analyze our own portfolios and to figure out how much allocations that we want to attempt to achieve in each of the various categories, including setting our goals and figuring out each of our individual particulars.

Surely, some people do consult with financial advisors in order to help them with their finances, and figuring out how to set each of the categories, and then how to aim towards achieving their various financial goals that would also include attempting to accommodate an appropriate level of psychological comfort too.  The psychology and the finances likely feed off of one another, because if the finances are set in more comfortable ways, then more psychological comfort should accompany that.
That is indeed one of the important things because being aware of what we have with all management is of course something good. but looking at the initial context about selling some btc and waiting for the bottom price this will be a double-edged knife because it will be great if it really goes according to plan but this will be bad luck when we sell some bitcoin from what we have while hoping for a correction and buy below but what happens is the opposite where we sell some bitcoin that we have and bitcoin goes up precisely this will also have risks of course.
So in this case IMO it is better to hold on to the assets we have rather than take the risk of selling and hoping bitcoin goes down because in my opinion such opportunities are not too certain even if we use the analysis and research we do.

Because they can't rely on Lukaku at this moment. I know Jackson is another new striker signing but this still doesn't feel good for me. Chelsea should go for Vlahovic and finish the deal as soon as possible. I believe it will be worth sending Lukaku and having him instead.
With Nkunku's condition that cannot be forced now, the possibility of approaching Dusan again like the previous few weeks about the rumours of Dusan and Chelsea is likely to happen now. and of course with conditions like this will encourage where the exchange of Lukaku + some money for Dusan is likely to be a hot topic again for the next few days.
It's just that on the other hand indirectly this also encourages Juventus with the advantage that they will try to increase the price of Dusan in money conditions because some time ago even we saw Lukaku + 50 million always wanted Juventus in this player exchange.

PSG have found several clubs, but Mbappe is the problem. This is a three-way deal and Mbappe wants to either go to Real Madrid or work out the contract to the end. There are no options to sell a player without his consent. Therefore, PSG has until September 1st to reach the last stage of "Acceptance". We have already seen the previous ones: Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression  Grin
Mbappe's situation is even more interesting considering that PSG really want to sell him instead of keeping him. PSG have been very fed up with Mbappe's attitude since his desire not to renew his contract with them, but that is the full right for the player, especially regarding his future. PSG don't want to let him go for free, but it seems that is what Mbappe really wants so far to move to Spain with Real Madrid.

Even though PSG is a club with tremendous wealth but they also don't want to lose money in business especially with what they have given Mbappe before it would be very funny if they let Mbappe go for free.

At the moment I agree with what @KTChampions said because surely PSG are now in their depressive phase because it is very difficult to let Mbappe go but do not want to give Mbappe to Madrid Cheesy

There is an option that will satisfy at least two parties - Real Madrid. But PSG want grossly inadequate compensation for a player who only has a one-year contract and who earns a gigantic salary. They probably think that if they were stupid enough to pay so much for Mbappe, then someone else must be found. But the market doesn't work that way.
That's the problem. But on the other hand they will also want to make a return on the contract given earlier so they hope to get something big on the sale of Mbappe even if it seems forced by looking at this 1-year contract.

But if they don't act in the remaining few weeks the possibility of them getting a bigger loss is certain because when the transfer is closed then indirectly they also lose money considering that when the winter transfer is next I think Mbappe's offer will be lower because of the contract factor that is a little running out.

In winter, the cost of the Mbappe will be exactly zero. And not at all because only six months remain until the end of the contract, but because Mbappe is needed for the Champions League. But with Mbappe on PSG's squad at the start of this season, even if he moves to Real Madrid, he won't be able to play for Real Madrid in the Champions League this season. Therefore, PSG do not have the option to “play bad for half a year” and then sell him, they have to do it now or never.
This is most likely the scheme because who also wants to spend big money on a player whose contract only has 6 months left (it would be better to wait until his contract expires) so now PSG clearly feels overwhelmed to find a club that really wants Mbappe but dares to pour big money.

Now the closing time is approaching but they still can't deliver anything good for their bottom line. The ultimatum given to Mbappe a few weeks earlier was ultimately not very effective because the result remained the same Grin

Next season will be a serious test for PSG. The absence of two superstars will definitely have a negative impact on the team's game. Dembele and Neymar are of course good players, but last season even with Mbappe and Messi PSG hardly won. I think next season it will be very, very difficult for them.
I think regardless of how the players are for Ligue 1 PSG will still be in control and be champions even though last season Lens played very well but for clubs other than PSG in Ligue 1 the performance is unpredictable, so regardless of how they are with player problems, I think PSG is still PSG in Ligue 1.
It's just that the club owners still don't really expect that, with the money that has been spent it is clear that Nasser Al-Khelaifi wants more for PSG in bigger competitions and that is difficult for them to do.
