I agree with you, in fact Chelsea cannot deny that their performance both last season and now shows bad results. Chelsea's abilities will be tested on February 1 against Liverpool well, if Chelsea can win then we can say they have returned to their best game but of course it wasn't easy because Chelsea was playing away. Honestly, I'm curious to wait for Chelsea's next game and see if the last win was just luck or a team effort.

Quite some surprise results in the FA cup from the Premier League teams,they almost all of them have not won and we are at additional time now when the result are 1-1 for West Ham and 2-2 for Nottingham Forest.I know that most teams try their second formation when they are playing against lower division but that is unacceptable to not win against teams like Blackpool which is suffering a league down than Nottingham Forest.The same for West Ham,a team who won the Europa Conference League is not winning either against weaker teams playing in lower divisions.Luckily next week Premier League action will be back.

Chelsea needs time to recover. That won't happen in one or two seasons, especially since the Chelsea squad this season is really starting from zero again, in terms of chemistry between players, between coach and players, management and players, Chelsea has really been completely overhauled. so everything goes back to 0 again.

I don't know the data you provided in the picture is from one season (summer transfer this season) only or talking about the last 2 seasons since Newcastle tried to revolutionize their club for the better.

But for the spending issue I said in my previous post I said that they spent quite a lot of money in the last 2 seasons meaning not just this season alone.
We can see some of their purchases in the last 2 seasons to make the club better such as the purchase of some players who spent more money including when they brought Harvey Barnes for 44 million, Tonali for 64 million or even Isak who was bought for more than 70 million.
Even if this price is not as big as the spending of some big clubs like Chelsea, Arsenal or maybe some other big clubs in the EPL but it is big enough for Newcastle to overhaul their players to try to do their best to make them one of the strong clubs after the acquisition of investors from the middle east.

You'll have to blame the British government for that, I believe that must have been planned out a long time ago and they used the Russian Ukraine war as a good means to project them plans immediately. This is a match of prestige because if one of them loses with a score that is too striking then this can tarnish the good name so even if this is only the FA Cup then surely they will compete all out because indeed apart from this it can also be used as a place to heat up the players before the EPL starts again, this can also be used as one of the benchmarks that one of them can be better by trying to beat each other.

They qualified to the UCL on the courtesy of Tuchel, where is he today? Chilling in Bayern Munich and they are roaring killing games even though there is Leverkusen ahead of them, he is a happy man and to tell you that he is better place than before, man is striving to stay in the top unlike when he was here in Chelsea fighting to stay top 4. You can't compare his performance to the three coach's Chelsea has had since his live. Graham was a mistake, Lampard was a disaster and Pochettino was a control damage, I'm not sure if there is something good that will comes from that team any time soon in the Premier League.

Chelsea looks more confident when playing in the FA Cup, which is natural because their opponents are mediocre clubs. Arsenal was dominating the match against liverpool and it was creating two goal attempts. The performance of liverpool was very different without salah. Gakpo was filling salah's position but he can do nothing in this match. Liverpool has not yet made even a single goal attempt which is bad for the club.
Liverpool can lose against arsenal if the club keep try to play passively. Arsenal was always dominating the ball and attack compared to the liverpool. Counter attack could be the main solution for this but there was no salah who can do that as fast as possible.
Gakpo contributed nothing in this game and it proves that liverpool needs to buy a new right winger as a back up for salah. It was not as deadly as when salah was there. I must say liverpool's gameplay is so bad in this game.

I think the performance in the FA Cup really depends on the squad's depth. Look at Chelsea, they got a very good squad depth coming from their academy. From their academy players like Armando Broja and Gallaghers were produced.  Look at Manchester City, they destroyed the other team.
