961  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake phishing on: October 13, 2023, 03:30:27 PM
Stake has already built a good reputation, and even though they were recently hacked, they are still operational now.

What happened to you is not the fault of Stake; there are a lot of hackers out there. You should know how to determine if an email is legitimate or not. Of course, phishing links are very popular, but there's always a way to verify if the email is genuine or just an attempt to hack you. As a gambler with a significant amount of money in your account, it's essential to educate yourself on ways to protect your funds wisely.
Stake is leading crypto casino that has been running for several years and now they have managed to have a very good reputation with customer trust so high that every customer does not need to worry about the security that Stake provides to every customer because customer comfort and security is priority the main.

It is true that some time ago Stake was hacked but now it is running normally and there is nothing to worry about because the team will also do their best so that the hack does not cause customers to suffer losses.
Regarding fake emails we can actually immediately distinguish them if we have been customers of Stake for long time because it is impossible for Stake to send email messages that might seem suspicious.

Now we can go back to playing and betting in complete comfort so don't hesitate to come back and play there.

Stake has always been amongst the world leading online crypto casino so far and I believe by now they must have fixed up the mess of the hack they experienced in the past with high sophisticated security apparatus to protect their users and their casino as well.  This casino is a casino I know that does not really take the safety and security of their users and assets for granted.  As everyone has his or her own interest, so stake does and their users are their number one priority when it gets to rendering quality services.

As for messages, every user of the platform can be able to decipher between a fake and scammy email from the original or better still if one doubts the authenticity of an email together with the originality, one is free to contact the customer care for further information because that is the only option to explore it in knowing the authenticity of the email they have received.

One of reason why its hard to believe that they are willing to compromise their users for certain small amount while they can earn a lot of revenue from their operation so there's no relevance regarding on those claims since many knows that Stake is spending a lot of money just to increase their traffics and revenue. Maybe those people claiming that they are been scam are been found out guilty for the abuse they made on their casino and they can't accept the fact that they are been restricted due to that reasons.

To many reminders about those shady email and if they receive a deceiving mail claiming something that they can avail something unrealistic profit shares coming from them or any bonuses then they must verify it to the right supports to know the legitimacy of the email they got and avoid to be a victim of phising or scamming.

One receiving an email from a scammer should be able to verify the genuity of their email first before engaging. Possibly to be that they are not dealing with the wrong persons and to be on the safe side, after verifying the mail to not be from the genuine source, they should delete and block the sender domain and they would not receive any mail from them any further.

Lastly I do not think cheap black mailers can be able to distract stake from rendering services as the ought to because stake is far bigger than them to talk about. People crying of being scammed possibly tailed to fulfill their own path of agreement and that must have held them down. So I think they should go clear their names than crying foul.
962  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Why most of the post aren't bitcoin related topics on: October 13, 2023, 03:08:00 PM
OP, it is nice you asked this question. We all know this platform is a Bitcoin and Crypto based platform so therefore it is a global one that accommodates many people from different walks of life.

Back to our own local board, just as I have said earlier, there are different people with different careers and professions and are willing to contribute to the development of this board and would do that by rendering solutions to any existing challenges encountered here. Some talk in their vernacular and that has helped them alot and other members too who are listening and watching to learn new things every day. So OP I think we should not expect only Bitcoin related post only because there are no restrictions on the pattern and types of posting here. This platform is an open one and we can learn here everyday while engaging in enteraction with one another.
963  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Making bitcointalk writing much easier on: October 13, 2023, 02:47:19 PM
I have had this experience several times and to be frank it sucks mate. It is not worth the experience of writing a very long and lengthy post and after which you mistakenly press the back key making you to loose all you have written. After that experience I decided to download sticky note for external typing and after I am done, I copy and paste on the platform for publication here. That is how I roll after then.

For the code breakdown you have done, that is a good one on your side. One can copy them and keep on their notepad there so it could be accessible for them when ever they are writing things to be be posted here for reading.
964  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: BUA reduce price of cement. A new strategy to end monopoly. on: October 13, 2023, 02:34:47 PM
If all business men in the country will be like AA RANO oil and BUA cement then the poor in the country will indeed have some air to breath,  this move by BUA cement is going to set them at a position that will place the company on a market take over in the long term unless if the competitors do what is more than what BUA cement have done presently and even at that also we have to encourage the company for taking the bold steps to stand by Nigerian in the economic hard time.

Let hope other companies such as Dangote will follow this footsteps also in reducing the price of his cements, and other basic good to help corsion the effects and impact of the current economic crisis that have been triggered by subsidy removal and so on.

The last time I checked, I heard the manufacturers are justling for price rate ever since BUA cement slashed the price of cement to the current price they are selling. I think there is more to this move by BUA founder than we could imagine. The cartel holding that industry seems to have had enough but whatever the case maybe,  BUA just did something every reasonable human would have deep thought about and do. This move by him will definitely
cause reform in that particular industry that would benefit every Nigerian and the nation as a whole. BUA cement has taken over the cement industry. It is either other sellers or manufacturers do the needful or they miss out.
965  Local / Off-topic (Naija) / Re: Should illegal stealing of crude oil be discarded? on: October 13, 2023, 12:09:59 PM
Stealing of crude is illegal and economic sabotage as enshrined in the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. However it is not a new thing that there are recorded cases of crude oil theft in the nation but what was the outcome of it, nothing everything swept under the carpet.

Last year we were told that Navy intercepted a 300,000 metric tonnes of crude oil vessel loaded within Nigeria sea shore which was caught  and they told us that the vessel was destroyed and burnt by the Navy. Who would believe such a cock and bull tale, do you know how much that product is worth in the market? Would they not have taken it to the national reserve to load it up there while the vessel is held by the Navy for further prosecution. Many many stories we hear when ever any crude theft is about to be linked to any top official, they look for ways to cover it up but when it gets to the local refinery a.k.a kpofire, you here the news all over the broadcasting station so that people would know they are working while they are just using that to paint the people of the South black and to justify their wrong assertions.

Our refineries does not produce up to the capacity to supply the whole nation consumption rate just In a week not to talk of month and they at the top knows this even the so called importers knows this too so now how is it  possible that they can meet up with the regular supply which means that the local refineries are the ones sustaining the nation in terms of product supply. How many filling stations have you seen selling D.P.K, or A.G.O.? but you see DPK in shops and roads selling. How were they produced? Who produced them? These are food for thought. I believe you will have answers to them yourself so think over it and you will realise why the stealing of crude is still happening and the reasons behind it too.
966  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My dice strategy for quick 1.5x on: October 13, 2023, 09:28:42 AM
It is good sharing your game strategy as this would also give other gamblers hint on how to go about their games as well but I think it all points towards one being lucky as well because I am meant to understand that what might  likely work for Mr A might not work for Mr B  vice versa. That's the logic and everyone have had their own pattern of playing games. Some people might feel a particular day and time is very much favourable to them to play with the believe that they would win their games with luck on their side and it works out that way for them. Although your strategy would be an added advantage if practiced but not all strategies work for everybody mate.

968  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cryptocasinofinder.org - Trusted Guide to Crypto Casinos on: October 13, 2023, 07:10:50 AM
From the looks, I think OP reviews are not accurate having seen some casinos on the review sites that shows OP did not really conduct his or her research properly before concluding and making it public for view. Possibly OP is promoting his or her affiliate link to make profit without considering the credibility of the casinos being promoted on the review site because that is the reason OP did this.

The only option left for OP now is to go back to the table and conduct a proper research and findings on the casinos listed on their website so as to get things done properly because as it stands now nobody would want to look into OP site since they had seen this error OP made already.
969  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you not gamble on women sports? (tennis not included) on: October 12, 2023, 09:51:38 PM
I think it is because men sport are more mainstream, more advertised around here and I general people in my country get more excited about them, which encourages me to watch the matches and even consider to bet on them.

During last World Cup in Qatar one could feel the excitement in the air and one could see people gathering in the squares and around TVs in public. It is not the same with the Women Word Cup, unfortunately.
I am not sure whether it is a cultural thing or the societies in charge of those sports do not have enough funding to further advertise their events as much as the male sports are.

Sports initially started  with male performance and more popular than female because of the fun and entertainment that comes with it. Of a  truth the male sports are more advertised than the female because of the attention it commands when games are ongoing. If you meet a  group of youth and ask them the preferred sexes in sports they would tell you male because of the  enthusiasm attached to male sports and the players too are well known to also command follower-ship to always watch their performance.

World cup always comes with excitement and joy because it is more of a sport festival and serves as a means to unify ethnics, tribes, religions, countries and continents together. This being so makes the male sport more entertaining, economical and rejuvenating.

It may also something to do with most women not being into sports, as fanatics. On one hand, there are women who complain on the lack of attention their female leagues get from the public, but at the same time women seem not to be interested in those leagues and sports.

Perhaps, in future generations of girls started to be educated and engaged in sports and understand the importance of it, then probably when they become women they would be excited to watch the Female football Cup.  It is something which feminist orgs could work on, instead of doing stuff which can be politically problematic in the eyes many, like protesting naked in the middle of a street.

I have come to realise that female do not really put interest in their fellow female activities much in n the sense that things of this nature does not excites them rather they prefer to go watch the male sports with their man and secondly, the female does not really give in to sports activities as they are not really given the attention when it comes to sports development back in the days. It is of recent the world started picking interest in n female sports to making sure they gain the recognition they deserve but still then people do not see it enticing going for female games as they are not interested in it.
970  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Practices for Staying Safe When Gambling on: October 12, 2023, 09:40:17 PM
It is good one trains him or herself to be disciplined while gambling because it is only a disciplined gambler that can be able to exercise self restraint when it seems they are loosing it.  That is why the slogan says " gamble responsibly" this should help gamblers to maintain and curtail their gambling excesses. When it gets to budget, it is very important that such considerations should be put in place before gambling because that would guide you through to not going beyond your gambling limit per day or as the case maybe. Setting up a bad would put you in charge and not allowing you be overwhelmed by the fun derived from the casino. When you set budget for yourself this would help you to maintain a limit to which you gamble
He is training himself to be disciplined when gambling is a must for a gambler to avoid losing a lot and not run out of money. Unfortunately, many gamblers end up being provoked by their emotions and losing self-control because they can't win and experience losses, so they lose a lot of money. That's why when gambling, we must have a clear budget limit so that we don't spend the budget in just one day. The budget is usually made for several days, and for one day, we can gamble a certain number of dollars and stay within the budget limit. This is difficult to maintain because it requires self-discipline.

Even if it's going to take some extra but necessary steps to make our gambling experience worth a deserving one, then we shouldn't hesitate giving it what it demands, I've learnt that some people cannot just do something and be successful in them without the help or assistance of other people, such is life and we are to appear being our brothers keepers in times of need, gambling responsibly is not what one fan just say by mouth, we need to act upon it and see the results or outcome evident.

I am meant to understand that no man is an Ireland  and there is a saying that says " the right hand washes the left and the left does same too so both can be clean. "No tree can make up a forest."  Likewise every man  would definitely meet someone who would assist them in life in one way or the other. Standing alone is not advisable as one can never assist himself in n anything but rather would need help and support to climbing up the ladder. So I am not doubting your point here.

With these few tips  dropped here, I believe that one  would be fine and also take time to develop dem.

Road safety tip
1. Try not to Dey Drive for night, most especially in a lonely area, as you never can know what could happen while you are driving.

Thank you for your commendation, I appreciate your kind words. 972  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can somebody make a successful career in gambling on: October 12, 2023, 08:08:17 PM
It may hard to believe but yes, there are really some lucky gamblers who have made a successful career in gambling. But for sure, they don’t reach that level instantly. They may have endured a lot of losses at first until they start to master their gambling strategies and attract some luck most often. Though this is really risky to consider gambling as a career, but if you are capable to make it happen, then why not? But you need to have a real job of course to back up your gambling career so that if ever you lose your luck in gambling, at least your finances will not end up collapsing as well.

I think it is risky to take gambling  as a career because gambling is not what one should hold at high esteem as it is highly risky to be called a career. If as a gambler, you do not have a source of income then it is nice you quit or minimize the rate  at which you  gamble because you are doing yourself no good when addicted to it. If a gambler banks on luck to win his or her game it is not a bad one but how quick does he or she thinks it would be for them to win through their luck. So in that case taking gambling as a career is not advisable.

One can make a career in gambling but making it a successful one is what cannot be told because gambling is an unpredictable game which deals with luck and skills, we cannot have the conclusion on every gambler being into gambling are doing it for survival sake, so many don't kind if they win or loose, life goes on and they continue with gambling, same we cannot predict when to win or loose, because it was intended for having fun and not for making money.

When it comes to career, I think there should be a recorded number of successes  a person should have had in the course of getting to the peak as a  result of self determination and pursuit in the journey of life. A career means you devoting your time in a particular pursuit to developing your capacity in making progress in life. Looking at gambling and  talking of making it your career must make you stand out and letting people know about it. Talking about making gambling a career sounds  like one is not serious in life if that happens to be in my country. How does that sound to you? because I am very sure you as an individual definitely would have someone to ask you that question and if it happens so, would you say it ?

I just stumbled upon this post now and I must say that you have good intentions to help gamblers who felt cheated by casinos even after contacting their customer care service but do you think that would be very easy to handle if your organisation have no supportive force to back up with their activities. Casinos too have their ways of resolving with their clients and to this effect they do that amicably so as to avoid escalations from their customers and I believe any customer that is found wanting would definitely lose out and in that case they would have their way to you for support and if you do not investigate properly, you might just be wasting your time and lastly, there are few members here who does this exercise which you are interested in. I guess you should join team with them or possibly study from them too.

978  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler avoiding friends after a big win. on: October 12, 2023, 01:24:15 PM
That's nothing new but human nature.
If a gambler wins big, he does not win just the money but your friend in him (the person you knew) loses against that gambler. And he thinks that the society may come and ask him for money because he now has that class to lend people, but he doesn't want to. So he decides to stay away from his friends thinking that it'd be better to sideline them and enjoy his life on his own, with some new friends of his category.
I think the decision of some gamblers to avoid friends after huge wins is determined by the gambler's kind of friends and how good they were to the gambler during the bad days that he wasn't winning. For instance, if he has a group of friends that are not good in giving to him when he didn't win big and was probably starving just to save money for gambling, he'll definitely not want to give such friends money when he finally wins big and would do everything to avoid them. Also some people who aren't friends to him would automatically claim to be friends because he's won big and when he avoids such people, they claim he had abandoned his friends because he win big

You are making a good point here mate. Most friends are funny you know. They do not feel like doing the needful to helping their fiends financially while they are together. They only want their friend to beg them to help before they would even think of extending hands to them and in some cases, they just post their friends and do nothing  about it. So in this case, I would not be surprise if that was what happened to him when he was still with them because nothing pains more than this. The fact that your friends are always around does not mean that they would help you. I have had this experience before so I am talking from my on knowledge of how if feels.

Getting profit from casinos I think is never consistent because as people would think it is lucky, so it is the other way round but as a sensible individual, you should know when to quit gambling when the odd is clear to you to do so.

Every individual wants what's best for them but sometimes their emotions get in the way of making the right decision, they have been gambling and not making profits which should have made them to stop gambling but instead of stoping, they'll be thinking they can win the next bet and this continues until they run out of money. While common sense is common but not every individual has it, their addiction also makes it impossible for them to stop gambling.

Knowing when to stop gambling will always help us to avoid getting addicted and keep us safe, knowing when to stop means we have discipline and self control which will make us cautious and also avoid other things that leads gamblers to addiction. Knowing when to stop will make us not over gamble and exceed our budget.

When our thoughts start to trick we into continuing to gamble then that's where we can be categorized as a light gambler, so always train ourself to be fully disciplined in gambling, setting a budget before gambling is a necessity that must be implemented by every gambler, without that we will only increase debt and that is the root of all the problems we will receive, in some large traditional casinos they provide access for gamblers to borrow money at their casino, but not everyone can get the loan, there are several conditions that you must fulfill, However, from what I have read, there are many gamblers who went bankrupt because they were unable to pay their debts to the casino.

It is good one trains him or herself to be disciplined while gambling because it is only a disciplined gambler that can be able to exercise self restraint when it seems they are loosing it.  That is why the slogan says " gamble responsibly" this should help gamblers to maintain and curtail their gambling excesses.
