961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After ICO What do you do with your coin - HODL or Sell? on: July 21, 2018, 07:39:59 AM
What is your strategy after participating in an ICO? Do you sell all of the coins immediately or do you hold it for months or years?

Would love to hear about your opinion.

What is the point of selling after the ICO just ended ? You better didn't investing in that ICO.
I usually hold my ICO tokens after i buy them. ICO is not a short term investment, you need to wait until the mass adopt the project.
If mass adoption occurred, that is the time you sell your tokens because it will be expensive.
962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There are too many new Token, new project on: July 19, 2018, 04:04:46 AM
I think that there are least 1 token or project or exchange were born everyday!
When I read ANN. Oh. I didn't research all. Maybe we have miss some good project.....Because there are too Project...
I hate this thing on Crypto Grin

There are many ICO projects indeed, but only a few of them are worth to invest.
Investing in ICO is risky, you could choose the wrong ICO if you careless. With a proper research and findings, you can find a good project.
EOT the blockchain network for DGames is a good ICO for me, they are holding ICO this month.
963  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin core safe to store all of my bitcoin? on: July 19, 2018, 03:53:44 AM
I am looking for the best wallet to safely store my bitcoin for the next lot of years (who knows how long) is bitcoin core a safe place to do this or should i look at others?

i think bitcoin core is the official desktop wallet for bitcoin. You can see the link to the bitcoin core is posted in this bitcointalk.
the most important thing is you must protect your wallet, and you should never expose your seed or key to another website.
Backup your wallet info and store it in different safe places.

965  Other / Archival / Re: So many Bounties-Which one is trusted? on: July 18, 2018, 02:15:34 AM
I have checked the latest active bounties on bountylord.com and found many of them but only few are rated as 3 or 4 so any of you here working for any of those bounties listed there and found it trusted source of earning stakes/tokens/coins... I want to do the twitter campaign...

Participating in bounties is no difference with participating in the ICO, you must do your own research about the ICO first. Otherwise, you will work for nothing. A good bounties usually managed by a good manager. You can look at the bounty managers that have a good reputation and participate in their bounties.
966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good time to invest in an ICO? on: July 17, 2018, 06:45:24 AM
Many ICOs have their token sold at a fixed price vs. the ETH. For example: 1 ETH = 1000 Tokens.

So does it really matter if the prices of ETH/BTC is dropping?

If anything, then buying now you get more Tokens for the $, right?

A good time to investing in ICO is a time when the market price is on the bottom. For now, crypto market has been in the dips quite long.
This time is still a good time to buy some ETH and participate to ICO. If you are buying it when the market bull run, you are too late.
A good ICO like EOT (Eon Protocol) maybe worth to invest now because from my opinion, it is a good ICO.
967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you picky with ICOs? on: July 16, 2018, 09:08:54 AM
Are you picky with ICOs?

Absolutely, have to picky when choosing where to put your money. If you not picky, you can get scammed by fake ICOs.
What you must do is always do some review about the ICO you want to invest. A good ICO usually have good products.
EOT (Eon blockchain game network) is one of a good ICO out there, already have some game products.
968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I need altcoins investment advice guys. on: July 16, 2018, 08:47:18 AM
I don't like buying coins during ICOs, I prefer to buy after they list and the price goes down but I have a problem of investing in the right one that will yield profit because I have seen projects start to misbehave after ICO( listing on a very poor exchange, listing lower than ICO price or stop responding to some investor's questions). How does one know the right project that will yield profit to invest in or does one but gamble with coin or tokens to invest in?

Hey, if all investors thought the same thing with you, all ICOs would be failed because they won't raise enough funds in ICO.
Investors need to buy it directly from ICO. If they want to buy more cheaper in the market, they just need to buy half amount.
969  Other / Archival / Re: What you will do with your altcoins? on: July 15, 2018, 09:14:34 AM
During last time do a lot of bounties and get some different price. its near 17 numbers and all price according to the market no more then 350 USD for all... What you should recommend to do with this coins?

i am usually sell the coin that have a dropping price to ETH, not to fiat. With my ETH, i will contribute to the ICO projects.
Investing in ICO is risky but the return usually very promising in the future, you must do your own research before it.
One of the ICO i participate to support is EOT ICO. EOT is a blockchain game network, very interesting concept in crypto.
970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost half of my crypto amount! what to do? on: July 14, 2018, 07:13:54 AM
So I basically got fomoed. Towards the end of 2017 I saw how high bitcoin skyrocketed and decided to invest in ripple as a test. Less than one week it went up 3x. This made me more ballsy and I put in 11k total in various other alt coins like ripple, ethos, tron, and cardano. After the crash I lost about half of my value just like that. I am frustrated with the experience and wish I would have just put in 1k or something. I wish I could just not invested and went into what I was doing earlier which was just investing the boring and traditional way. Should I wait and hodl or pull out and do something else?

Believe me you are not the only one who did that fomo. Who did not surprise when bitcoin price spiking last year ? Everyone thought that bitcoin price will increasing more. The lesson we learn is, never buy it when the price is spiking. You just chasing the hype, there is no guarantee that you will be able to sell higher than you buy.
971  Other / Archival / Re: How to earn altcoin every days? on: July 13, 2018, 07:35:54 AM
There are many ways people earning in altcoin in regular basis. What is your methods for earning in altcoin?

Trading?
Airdrop?
Bounty?
Others?

The most popular method for earning altcoins is mining. There are many altcoins created nowadays, you just need the mining equipment.
Another way to earn altcoin is by investing on ICO. You can get the tokens and later you can sell it if the price skyrocket.
EOT, the blockchain game network is one of a good ICO to invest.
972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Most ICO don't show the investment wallet address? on: July 13, 2018, 06:54:15 AM
This is a suspicious act. Most ICo don't show the wallet of investment? Why they claim have made succesful presale but no wallet to proof that. Why Most ICo fail they are not transparant. Transpancy is one of the cryptocurrency concept. I think they deceive investors by doing that not showing investment wallet address for public.

Yes i understand what we want is transparency because it will boost the investors confidence.
If you want to running some ICO, makes sure you give your public sale address so you can gain your investors trust.
973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest wisely on: July 12, 2018, 09:56:12 AM
It's getting ridiculous here. People are now investing just because of the hype or just from watching the scores given by Icobench, ICOratings etc.

You're doing it wrong. You should look at the team and the experience they have, whether this project exists already (e.g we have Monaco, TenX, Centra, MoxyOne and many others) and none of them actually delivered 100% what they promised etc. so unless you really see the potentials on the project, you really shouldn't invest. Ignore the moon bullshit they are trying to feed you.

This is valid for both bounty hunters (because they are wasting their time) and ICO participants (wasting money).

Most peoples want to take advantage by chasing the hype because they can get profit for short time.
Investing on a hyping project is not profitable for late comer. You must see a good project that have a real profit for everyone.
Maybe you want to check EOT ICO, it is a blockchain game network, a good project from my opinion.
974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hold or sell ? on: July 12, 2018, 09:21:11 AM
Should we hold on to altcoins which we have invested and see the price dropping every moment or it will be better to sell them and buy it again when the value pumps ? I have already lost a good margin of profit with the ripple I don't want to make the same mistake with the Lumens which I Hold so should I hold on or sell out ?

Well, it depends on what project you invested. Watching the falling price of the tokens that we own is very frustrating.
If you see your project team has no update, you may sell the token to cut your loss and start to look for another good token.

976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where can I learn trading ? on: July 11, 2018, 07:53:01 AM
Hello forumites,

I am interested in learning the rudiments of cryptocurrency trading and that led me here. But I discovered that here is just for airing opinions on coins and bounties ( permit me if I'm wrong) and most importantly I prefer visual materials to PDF.

Please suggest where I can get videos tutorial online and other useful sites.
Thanks in anticipation of your suggestions.

Maybe you can learn trading in the trading forum section here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=8.0
But still you must directly experiencing trading in the market by yourself. Later you will know the price trend of the market.
977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the price of crypto is down now, what to do on: July 10, 2018, 07:06:10 AM
the price of crypto is now down, what should we do to keep it profitable? give your feedback

When the crypto price is down in the market, the best time to buy and accumulate has come.
So it is the time for you to buy some btc or eth. Use it to invest on some good ICO.
One of good ICO is EON Blockchain Protocol. It is a blockchain game platform and they will running ICO in near future.
978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 80% of ICOs are Scams on: July 10, 2018, 06:45:45 AM
There are many scam ICOs indeed, but if you do your own diligence, you will find a good promising ICO.
Not a scam or ponzi or something that can rob your money later.
There are only a few good ICO you can follow, and from my opinion, EON Protocol is one of the good ICO to participate.
979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Airdrops and Bounties useful? on: July 09, 2018, 02:31:27 PM
Are Airdrops and Bounties really leading to a successful coin? There are so many out there this time.
Or are they mostly shitcoins, disappear or using your emails for phishing?
Have you ever participate to one with high profit? How long was wait for that?
I think most of them are just bullshit and time wasting and not worth putting some effort in.

It is depends on the project of ICO itself. If the project is good, then doing bounty will be very much profitable, even airdrop will still profitable to do.
I am currently participating on EON Protocol (EOT) project because i believe they will success running their ICO.
Now they are whitelisting the contributors to be eligible participating in ICO in near time.
980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you interested in cryptocurrency? on: July 09, 2018, 02:20:09 PM
