Shocked What a great customer service  Shocked
THIS TOPIC SHOULD BE CLOSED

That's pretty damning. Guess someone might not know their way around a disassembler/debugger.

This means he actually did nothing. Other guys already figured this out long time ago. He is selling some bullshit that you can find for free. What a guy lol.
962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ethereum mining on: December 22, 2016, 02:54:50 PM
Even if you get VPS with good gpu, most providers are not allowing mining on their servers. You can check with your provider but i'm almost certain answer will be no.
963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralized exchange on: December 22, 2016, 01:05:20 PM
It's already created but major problem with decentralized exchanges is that there is not a lot of people using them. It will take too much time to do anything there. If some major scandal happen with some massive exchange like document leak or smth like that, decentralized exchanges may become more popular.
964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ethereum profitable?? on: December 22, 2016, 01:01:53 PM
From what I've been able to understand you want to buy new pc and use it for mining sometimes. Mining with single card is not profitable. It will take too long to ROI. But rx 470 is cheaper than 1070 so it's better for mining anyways.
965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BIPCOIN - New Cryptonight Coin on: December 22, 2016, 12:56:19 PM
Based on number of already mined coins, looks like developers premied large amount of coins and now want to increase the price and dump their worthless coins. Looks like scam coin to me.
966  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-12-20] More Chinese Bitcoin Miners Arrested for Electricity Theft... on: December 21, 2016, 11:05:28 PM
Funny story. But this is not happening only in China. I know a guy who is mining altcoins with 7-8 6gpu rigs, yeah its not that much but he is still stealing electricity from the grid. They did not catch him for about 2 years now and he is still not caught Cheesy
967  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-12-21] Central Bank of France Reports On Its Experiment With Blockchain on: December 21, 2016, 11:00:32 PM
In the article developer said that his goal is to experiment with decentralized information system. I dont really understand why would bank want something like this. I mean goal of bank is to have things (your money) under control.
968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Any CPU mineable coin that it is profitable? on: December 21, 2016, 10:49:57 PM
Doubt it. The cost of running the pc will outweigh the rewards. There's however a few you could mine and hold that may increase in value.

Yes, I've thought so. But still, it may be fun to mine some of these coins and store them in a paper wallet for future use. Maybe someday, when the price of the coin increases I would've earned a decent profit.  Roll Eyes

ya to actually  make some profit off CPU mining is hard nowadays :/

-you will have to do the maths. figure out power draw of processor and calculate 100% usage +/-10% over 30 days costs. figure out what your break even point is 1st
-you will have to prob rely on mentioned above hold for price rise, or some other form of smart LONG TERM use to get profits from CPU mining.
I remember when i started mining a while ago i used to mine BCN with minergate then trade it at Eobot for S5 (now S9) GHS. A LONG and tedious process that broke even over 6 months but ended up with hashpower i could use atleast ;p
-Luck.  Maybe solo mine some coins, tho again, you will have to upfront the power costs to take the risks :/

good luck! Smiley

Thanks for the tip. While CPU mining is not that efficient, GPU is, but I'm looking more into CPU coins, as it the most accessible and common way to mine cryptocurrencies. I've tried mining several CPU coins but I've ended up wasting more power than profiting at all. Still, I'm going to try this on a college PC, as I've got nothing to lose by mining cryptocurrencies there.  Grin

It's not profitable for multiple reasons. There are not a lot of coins that are cpu-only mined. For ones that are, your CPU needs to be A LOT efficient but problem with that is that efficient CPUs are not a lot powerful (if we exclude new Itel skylake with great TDP, but cost makes them unprofitable). Even if you find CPU like that price on exchange will just kill your profit so I would avoid CPU-only mining in general at this point.

Thanks for the advice mate. I will take that into consideration. In the meantime, I will stick to mine Coin Magi, as it is one of my favorite cryptocurrencies to mine due to its unique algorithm, which prevents mining centralization. Most of all it is a hybrid coin, so I could earn more with the coins I mine by holding and staking them into my wallet.  Smiley

You can do that, but then you are not mining for profit, you are investing into coins future. That is actually a very good thing to do with cpu mineanble coins.
969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 0% Fee Claymore Miner Bundle! on: December 21, 2016, 08:15:54 PM
I don't understand from this thread is chown.multi alt of smod ? They are arguing at one moment and support each other next moment and let's not forget they are selling same shitty mods. chown.multi looks like only person on this forum publicly supporting smod, suspicious   Huh  Huh  ?
970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is gpu mining dead? on: December 21, 2016, 03:16:16 PM
hi
as the difficulty of ethereum is rising day by day which means less profit, do you think that by the end of that gpu mining will be dead or there will be some hope to mine some new coins in the near future
i need your help cause i am planing to invest in gpu mining
thanks
well when you asking like this, and yu invest yur money on gpu, it will be dead on yur side, true miner, wont asking something like this, better yu invest to another thing
and eth will switch to pos(end of mining) around 6-8 next month

That won't be the end of gpu mining. Coins like monero can take a load when miners transfer. Maybe other coins will appear that will take ethereum's place
971  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Debit Card top 6 on google search 2016 on: December 21, 2016, 02:46:02 PM
Here is good list of bitcoin debit cards https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1410577.0

E-coin was re-branded to wirex and quite surprised to see uquid on 4th position as they are pretty new service. I am using cryptopay debit card which is working smoothly and they even have feature to unload balance from card back to account balance which is quite good feature.

I have to say that I haven't had best service with wirex. Sent money one time and never received it. No response from them either. The amount wasn't to high but anyway...
972  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: MIXEM.IO – new cryptocurrency mixer ! on: December 21, 2016, 02:39:56 PM
I guess we need to verify our reserve then Smiley
In addition to reserve verification what will make you believe in our trustworthiness?

There is not much you can do. Most services out there ran for a long time and they did not scam anyone. When you verify your reserve only time can make you trustworthy.
973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is it profitable to mine Zcash at Zcash-Miner.com? on: December 21, 2016, 02:07:15 PM
https://www.Zcash-Miner.com is offering 10 Sol/s @ 0.0125 BTC.

You will earn about 1.5$ per day , that means you will ROI in 6.6 months. Depends what you consider profitable. But anyway, even looking at their site, design is shit, basic info, no pictures and other stuff that will prove that they are actually mining so it is most likely SCAM and I would recommend everyone to stay away from it.

I think, your concern is pointless. They are pretty consistent in payment from Day 1. Here is their payment history for verification - https://www.zcash-miner.com/payments.php

You don't understand how ponzi sites work. They don't actually mine anything. They will pay you untill they collect enough money and than they just disappear. That happened many times so please just don't give them any money because you will lose it.
974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can't mine Eth on: December 21, 2016, 10:30:47 AM
This is what you should do. Go to Mining (Altcoins) section and find latest version of Claymore's Dual miner. Download it, claymore explained what you should do in his thread, but if you are complete newbie watch this video on youtube.

It's not about removing it, it's about taking it and making those shares go to YOUR wallet.

Nice to see you guys are all so honest and not using any cracked, hacked, etc. software.
Oh wait, raise your hand if you use a legally bought Windows. Oh no, i see no hands raised.

Does that mean Microsoft doesn't deserve the money for their work ?
That's why you are using a cracked version of Windows?

Just think about it.

Some people are forced to used legal copy of windows and microsoft is still making profit. What you are doing is basically cutting claymore's profit. If i were him and majority start using this I wouldn't waste my time developing another miner.
978  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: MIXEM.IO – new cryptocurrency mixer ! on: December 20, 2016, 03:01:20 PM
what you should do is make address with 2k coins public and provide signed message. That way someone may even believe that your service is legit.
979  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: WHATS UP WITH WIREX DEBIT CARD on: December 20, 2016, 02:52:32 PM
I can say that i haven't had great service with them. I got that free card when you install their app and tried to top of with bicoin. I looked at txid and it went trough and is confirmed but newer saw any money there.
980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How long have your rigs run without resetting? on: December 19, 2016, 09:51:11 AM
well with zec i had to upgrade claymore many times.  but if I leave the rigs alone 3 weeks is pretty easy sometimes 5 or 6.

most issues are psu lacks the balls it needs.

card gets too hot.

riser gets too warm.

For the old R9 390, the riser is cold.

R9 390 draws more power from the connectors, newer RX cards draws more power from the slot so riser will get warmer there.

As for the thread only reason I shut down my rigs is to update claymore's miner. Other than that It's been months since something crashed.
