Temos o prazer de anunciar a primeira versão da carteira Cloak para Raspberry Pi. Como muitos de vocês sabem, dispositívos de baixo consumo e baixo custo formarão uma parte importante da rede e ecosistema Cloak à medida que o projeto avança. Esta é uma versão sem interface gráfica, necessita de uma linha de comandos através de ssh já que a versão Raspberry Pi destina-se primeiramente a correr o processo de minting.
Para quem desejar fazer minting the CLOAK pode agora libertar esse processo do computador e correr o daemon RasPi linux num Raspberry Pi2 ou Pi3 usando uma imagem de 32-bit oy 64-bit ( versão 64-bit apenas disponível para Pi3). Recomenda-se um cartão uSD de 8Gb Class 10. Faça download da imagem Jessie Lite (sem interface gráfica). Você irá instalar e executar o cloakcoind como um servidor headless (veja as instruções). Como em qualquer carteira CLOAK onde você deseje fazer minting e sendo CLOAK uma moeda POS você necessita de enviar algumas moedas CLOAK para a sua carteira RasPi para começar a gerar ganhos. Quanto mais CLOAK você tiver, maiores serão as taxas de minting que você ganha.
Não existem planos para criar uma versão com interface gráfica para o RasPi, a versão para desktop é mais indicada como sua carteira pessoal de transações. Estamos sim a pensar num thin-client que possa fazer interface direto com o interface RPC.

We're pleased to announce the first version of the Cloak wallet for Raspberry Pi.
As many of you are aware, low-cost/low-power devices such as the Raspberry Pi will form an important part of the Cloak network and eco-system as we move forward. This is the non-graphical version requiring command line use through SSH as the RasPi version is primarily for running a minting process.
For those wishing to do some minting/mining of CLOAK you can now offload the process from your desktop and run the RasPi linux daemon (headless) on a Raspberry Pi2 or Pi3 running a 32-bit or 64-bit OS (both versions available, 64-bit for Pi3 only). An 8Gb Class 10 uSD Card is recommended and download/install the Jessie Lite image (no Graphical UI). You will install and run cloakcoind as a headless server (see instructions). You can even run a script in rc.local to auto load at boot time. 
As with any CLOAK wallet you wish to mint with, it requires sending some CLOAK to your RasPi wallet
as the POS (Proof-Of-Stake) process needs some CLOAK to lend out in transactions.
The more CLOAK you have available the more minting fees you will acquire over time.
There are no current plans to create a graphical version for the RasPi as your personal wallet as this is better handled on your desktop. We are however looking into a thin-client for interfacing directly with the RPC interface.

Dear Cloak Community,
We're pleased to present a new v2.0.1.2 point release for the Cloak 'Phoenix' wallet. This is primarily a bug-fix release, but also includes some changes to how wallet unlocking is handled for Enigma sends. Attempting an Enigma send with a locked wallet was previously causing issues as the wallet would re-lock before the finished Enigma transaction was signed. This is resolved now and the wallet will remain unlocked until the Enigma send finalizes, whereupon the wallet is automatically re-locked.
The issue with the enigma node count dropping has also been addressed. This was due to Enigma announcements expiring just prior to an updated announcement being received. To resolve the issue, updated announcements are now sent earlier which gives plenty of crossover time when Enigma peers are several network hops away. Performance will improve steadily as more users upgrade to the latest 2.0.1.2 version.

We're currently working on the v2.0.1.2 wallet release (QT and Daemon), which will be ready in a few days.
We're also in the process of preparing a Raspberry Pi build of the Cloak wallet, which will play an important part in our future plans as the Cloak project moves forward.
In addition to the software updates, we're also putting the finishing touches to our roadmap, which will lay out the exciting steps ahead for the project over the coming months.
The roadmap will be released in a few days (once our artists have worked their presentation magic).
We'd like to take this opportunity to welcome all the new names and faces that have joined the Cloak family. A warm welcome to one and all!
Team Cloak has also been considerably bolstered of late, with several new members who have already made some great contributions in terms of artwork,
economic principles and network governance plans. We'll explain all this in more detail in the forthcoming roadmap.
A big hello to the old faces who returned to the Cloak community - it's great to have you all back with us...
As many of you are aware, the current Team Cloak is comprised of previous members of the wider Cloak community. Over the previous few years, we've remained entirely self-funded while carrying out the work to make good on the promises of the previous team. We feel we're in a very good position now and are making significant plans for the road ahead. Joe (r3r), our lead developer has been doing the recent Cloak work around his regular development work, but we all feel it's now time for Joe to work full-time on the Cloak project so that he can give his full focus and really help take Cloak to the next level. Our first priority as we move forward is to open source the Cloak project! We feel this is critical for Cloak's future as it gives scope for greater peer review, public code contributions and will also allow the community to follow Cloak's development much more closely. There have of course been some concerns expressed in terms of Cloak 'clones' being created, but we are not particularly concerned by this prospect as immitation is afterall the highest form of flattery. In all seriousness, we have a very strong and talented team behind the project and our exciting plans for the future should work out well for everyone involved in Cloak.
The next major Cloak wallet release will be v2.1.0.0. This version will coincide with Cloak's open sourcing. We are aiming to have this release ready within the next 3 months. There are quite a few things to address for the open sourcing of the project. We'll be conducting an internal security review of the code to ensure there are no exposed attack surfaces for denial-of-service attacks which could disrupt the network. CloakShield and Enigma have both been extended recently and functionality has changed somewhat since the audit conducted by Iain Craig in 2015. We also have some code-cleanup/refactoring to do in preparation for the source release as well as preparation of accompanying documentation which will also need to be ready at the same time. We are very open to the prospect of a new audit style review of Enigma and CloakShield during this time period and if anyone has connections to experienced and trusted cryptocurrency developers who would like to be involved, please get in touch. We have been taking steps internally to arrange something of this nature, but suggestions from the community are as always gratefully received. We are confident that Enigma keeps all funds 100% secure, but appreciate that additional peer review is always desirable.
A Cloak portal site is being created to compliment the roadmap. The portal site will be used to track progress and funding as well as detailing new features or enhancements. In the meantime, Joe has set up a Bitcoin address for those wishing to contribute towards development so that he can focus on Cloak full-time. Team Cloak will of course be helping to contribute to costs wherever we can. Our aim is to raise at least 10 BTC to cover Joe's work for the next 6 months while we work against the items of the roadmap and open source the project. Bitcoin donations are preferred where possible.

We noticed a small issue in the 2.0.1.0 release from yesterday that was causing the 'expired' Enigma count to over-increment. It's mainly a cosmetic issue, but we've patched it and packaged up a 2.0.1.1 revision. You shouldn't have any issues with the previous (2.0.1.0) version, but you may want to update to the latest and greatest anyway.

We're pleased to announce the release of v2.0.1.0 of the Cloak software. We've worked very hard on this release to make Enigma and CloakShield as robust and effective as possible, and we hope you are as pleased with the results as we are. There are a wealth of enhancements, improvements and new features included in this release, all of which help to bring Cloak closer to our shared dream of a top-tier, security-focused private digital payment system.
When starting the new wallet, you will be prompted to auto-download and install the latest blockchain snapshot. We recommend doing this, regardless of whether you're a new CloakCoin user or an existing user. The blockchain database format has been improved to greatly reduce startup time, and now uses LevelDB database format, for a faster and leaner implemention. We've also included an automatic wallet backup system, which will backup your wallet.dat database automatically each time you start the CloakCoin wallet. The software will also backup the previous backup too.
Please be aware that your wallet needs to be fully unlocked in order to initiate an Engima send. Enigma cloakers however are able to cloak Enigma transactions (and earn Enigma rewards) with a partially unlocked wallet (unlocked for staking/cloaking).
