I didn't read very far back up this thread but I'm sure someone might already have pointed out that you could actually use a mobile phone realistically to mine PoS coins even if the wallet only ran in the background. This is very low electricity use and with all the new phones coming up with blockchain enabling, I foresee many mobile users would even become nodes and help secure PoS coins. The problem is here is only blablabla... Yes blablabla... So far nobody was able to tell me if it is possible to mine 250 hashes with my mining system. And if it is possible to mine 250 hashes...in how much time. If it is possible to mine 250 hashes in 1 or 2 minutes...then do not tell me that it will cost much electricity. |

Last year in early december I bought eBitcoin token which turned out to be a scam. Luckily for me I sold them before the ePRX snapshot but alot others have made losses. I really believed this token would be a succes but I've realized that alot of these ERC20 tokens have the same things in common. The devs (or better said scammers) create alot of hype and pretend their token to be the real deal while they never intended to create a working product. I've thought about investing in tokens like Credits and Elixir but I'm afraid they are all the same kind of scam.
Do you trust them?
Scammers are everywhere and will always try to deceive honest people. But it is not necessary to count all the other tokens of the ERC20 as a scam because of this. I earn only ERC20 tokens If you send dollars for BTC to a scammer you can not say the BTC is trustless... So it is about ERC20 token...do not put the creator and the ERC20 system in the same basket. |

I have been giving a chance to airdrops since February, and my experience is only join if:
* Always read first announcement thread
* Check user who posted and his previous posts
* Check their website and look for the team. No team -> avoid
* Take a look on whitepaper. Don´t like -> avoid
* Check social network profiles and read last posts. If they only speak about their airdrop -> avoid.
* And that is it

You are correct most of them are scam. The Airdrop project owners are thieves who are only interested in the donation they will get from unsuspecting hunters that will donate their hard earned Ether which they claimed to be used as gas or a support their effort in listing their scamming token. The reason for this is that buying unknown coins is a sure gamble. I have heared many have been so unhappy about the results and they ended up losing. Had they chosen a good known coin they should have made a good profit out of it.
A good past profit does not mean a good future profit. Buying at ICO price is always a kind of gamble. After the ICO it is pure trade and the principle is trade principle. If you are not an expert,best is to gamble with airdrops. |

I think an airdrop is a lie, and some COINS still have no value after some time, except that they don't receive a coin.
I would rather recommend that you focus on the value of the reward, rather than the worthless airdrops.

My experience when I join an airdrop, I will look at the member, who has created the topic about airdrop, is hero member or legendary member, the percent of success will bigger. More and more airdrop is a lie, I do not recommend participation in airdrop, because there are at most a few 100 airdrop quality, so I think it should not be a waste of time.
Do you still spend your time on filling airdrop forms or joining other sort of airdrops? I think there is no need to cope with airdrops. Just do sommething else except joining airdrops.
