You guys are assholes, now I want tacos  Tongue
962  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: August 22, 2015, 03:10:08 AM
Nope, trading is dull (my coins, at least)...and my signature campaign's payouts are locked (again).  Can't find an open campaign that pays decent....the thread with every option is outdated as many are actually filled
963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have $10 in Bitcoin. What coin should I invest in? on: August 22, 2015, 02:52:38 AM
NEM.  The minimum needed to harvest is 10,000 and uses very little resources on your computer.  $10 right now buys 100,000.  I've known people who harvested between 25,000 to 100,000 since launch just running the wallet in the background.

I've harvested in the past, with little to no gains - but honestly, I would do it again...I just don't have a PC running 24/7.  I used a VPS when NEM first launched, which was an awesome learning experience; sadly I don't have the funds to run a VPS through google or AWS.  Any suggestions?

....And wasn't it called XEM? Mind filling me in on the changes?

Thanks in advance Smiley

Qora, great tech (automated transactions, decentralized blogging and social network, etc). it is totally undervalued.
But i suggest to do your own research. if you ask ten people you will certainly get 10 different answers.

Low price, high volume...looking good so far!  I'll do some research, compare it against a few others, then come to a conclusion shortly  Grin I did trade QORA in the past; recently I bought into a few BURST.  Is cross-chain a thing? Can you explain like im five?!  TIA  Shocked

$10 is very few. Better keep its in BTC,  Otherwise you must spend like $1 to send its to an exchange, Fees of trading of the new coins, etc.....
Finally you will get $9. If you are able of hold this for a long time only buy Doges to watch what happens but you don´t could wait nothing anyway.

True, I've experienced such setbacks before trading small amounts.

Let me rephrase my question then:

What coin should I invest $9 in?  Grin

-------Appreciate all the responses Cheesy

Reply to tickets and explain why sig is not daily!

Hope that catches attention

Quoting this to catch more attention.

Why doesn't the payout button work on mobile either
965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / I have $10 in Bitcoin. What coin should I invest in? on: August 21, 2015, 09:30:00 PM
I know it's a small amount, but I'd like a new altcoin to hold. Suggest what coin I should buy, and convince me why  Grin

(serious answers only, please)

Thanks in advance!
966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins with solid android wallet? on: August 21, 2015, 06:14:19 PM
Mobile wallets make actually only sense when you can spend you coins somewhere. This holds for Bitcoin only so far.

GetGems has an in-build store where you can spend your Gems, once the attention economy rolls out the app will have an even greater way to spend where advertisers must pay the user directly with Gems for their attention, rather than paying the gatekeepers of a social network, like FB or Google.

True - but the store is extremely limited in what is possible to be purchased at the moment.  For how new the app is, though, it's pretty impressive  Grin
967  Economy / Services / Re: YoBit.Net - Signature Campaign - Realtime Payouts (daily) on: August 21, 2015, 05:07:54 PM

If it is a depletive wallet that hands out Sig Campaign funds until it runs dry, it would explain the "broken" button many times over.

But they can control this wallet everytime. Because this a daily base signature campaign and we need daily base payouts.
If we do not want a daily base payout, there are really so many signature campaign weekly or monthly.

You're right. They should add funds to the payout wallet daily. However, they may frequently underestimate how many new sign ups they will have for the day, how many posts will be posted by Sig Campaign members, etc. I get what you're saying, and I agree, it's still all on them to make sure the funds will be available for payout. I can just imagine, though, how hard it would be to estimate the variables, and deposit enough funds to clear that.

I try to find a topic about all signature campaign listted. I couldn't find and if you know, can you help me about that?

edit: sorry about that I found it.

A lot of the 'available' campaigns are actually unavailable...I found this out the hard way Undecided

Any updates going on with this project?

It hardly seems they're ever going to raise the money  Sad

Wasn't there a lot of press coverage about it being a scam?
One of the participants said so too, over here.

Well it just seems like a scam
It doesn't definitely prove it

It was definitely a scam. We aren't even ready to live on the moon, let alone get a reality show started there Cheesy

Anyone who fell for this deserves the reality check...

You really think Mars One is a scam?

http://www.mars-one.com/about-mars-one/team

http://www.mars-one.com/about-mars-one/advisers

Over ambitious maybe, but I wouldn't say scam and personally I hope they succeed.

"A recent analysis by a team at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) identified crucial flaws with Mars One’s published plans and predicted that even if the astronauts got to the surface unscathed, the first person would suffocate within 68 days because of a lack of equipment to balance oxygen levels effectively."

We can't even colonize the MOON.  What makes you think we can colonize Mars, a planet considerably further away from Earth, for the sole purpose of a REALITY SHOW?  Shouldn't we, like, make sure living there in the first place is possible?
969  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin XT has code which downloads your IP address to facilitate blacklisting on: August 21, 2015, 06:58:34 AM

Go on keep dodging requests for evidence to back your bogus claim. Your reputation has gone to shit by your action not my words.

no it has not,

since that gross meono sock puppet account didn't have any to begin with. The sole purpose of the meono account is to derail the discussion and fling poo.

But the cat is out of the bag: The issue of course is no longer about block size, but about sneaking in something extra into BTC.
And of course even if it could be deactivated by the most tech savvy users, once the foot is in the door, of course it will be expanded incrementally.
That is the strategy and so all that whining and bitching about how it is only optionally is a malicious little smokescreen that fools no one.

Just ignore the troll.  In doing so, this thread will remain free of further drivel that does nothing but derail the thread.  no attention = no shitposts.

It's pretty obvious I'm new to this coin - so keep that in mind when I ask: what's considered a 'small' amount & 'large' amount of SPRTS, in regards to staking?  I don't want to invest what little I have into POS, if all my funds still won't prove profitable when stake rewards come my way  Undecided

Thanks in advance!  Love the coin, regardless  Grin
973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [GEMZ]|GetGems - Social Messaging App That Pays | LIVE on Android and iOS | on: August 20, 2015, 09:48:53 PM
Love the app guys, keep up the great work!

Only two issues:

1.) Secret passphrase - I suggest prompting the user to enter a phrase upon installation, alongside the initial PIN #.  I uninstalled a few weeks ago, and today re-installed...only to be asked for a secret password I didn't know existed.  I was still able to recover my account thanks to the PIN, but users should be notified more of the secret phrase (instead of just having it in the settings menu)

2.) Battery drain - even while running in background, the app loves sucking juice.  Not that extreme, but many people (mobile enthusiasts, OCD sufferers, etc.) will be turned away from such a side-effect

Keep it up, I'll be holding onto my GEMZ in support!  Get a marketing campaign out there, as this could become huge with the younger crowd  Smiley
974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins with solid android wallet? on: August 20, 2015, 09:30:32 PM
Best one is Telegram with GetGems, is has the highest rating and offers some very cool stuff. Android.

I was using this!  But the battery drain was horrendous - I know the devs are working on the matter, but I had to uninstall....

...now I'm re-installing...THANKS A LOT  Angry

Just kidding, I love the app.  I knew I couldn't stay away long  Wink

976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★ [GMC] GameCredits • A Multi-Platform Gaming Currency [GMC]★ on: August 20, 2015, 08:15:07 PM
Well I can assure you as part of the team, much is happening in the background, you just cant see it here. Ive sent a pm Richie to get back on Trex.

We should ALL PM him. ANYONE that supports GMC , click here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=96390

Vegas

Yeah, listing GMC back on Trexx would be a logical move. Yet, still no reply from Richie. As i said before, i'm not big fun of Bittrex but it's something community is asking for. Meanwhile y'all can vote for GMC here: https://hitbtc.com/vote

Awfully quiet here, whereso the GMC excitement gone?? Today is game release day am I correct?

We've been just too busy lately. Smiley As for the game, we haven't set some firm deadlines except to ourselves: have its first release out till the end of august. We're lil bit ahead of that actually and we're already testing it and fixing some minor glithes for two days now. The emphasis is on platform and betting layer (GameCredits in-game functionality) of course but we'd like the game to look as good as possible given the circumstances it's done within a two month frame by a single game dev. Smiley

have a link to game info?  curious as to the quality of what's being created in GMC's name Cheesy

979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Coins with solid android wallet? on: August 20, 2015, 06:42:14 PM
Hey guys, I'm looking for any info regarding mobile wallets for Android - right now, the only app I have is TRIder (for triangles coin), which is a solid app but more geared towards trading.

As my phone is powered on longer than my PC, I'm curious if anyone knows of a good app to store some coins on mobile! If possible, keep it limited to Android Smiley

Thanks in advance!
