961  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-03-23] US: Hackers Shut Down Government Computers In Atlanta, Demand BTC on: March 24, 2018, 11:04:01 PM
it might also be a staged/faked hack to make Bitcoin look bad....
Weird, but I first thought that it might be the case. On the other hand, aren't they too busy to fake a hack and could they be that desperate to make Bitcoin bad? By thinking again, I don't think so. Also, hackers demanding for bitcoin isn't that new anymore, is it?
962  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anyone mining on Hashnest S9? on: March 24, 2018, 05:16:25 PM
What do you mean exactly with "Do you know anything about it?"
I did use the site before (late 2017) with AntS9, but I decided to sell my hashes and pull out my BTC there.

PS. If you want to read more and discuss with present hashnest users, here's their thread link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=766448.0
963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: MEDIUM is banning Bounty dedicated account on: March 24, 2018, 04:08:48 PM
I too have a account on the medium i didn't receive any email about it. Do you have chat with the support team on medium. Ask them whether it is true or not.
If you'll read the posts above yours, you'll see the reference link I've shared, it was directly from Medium help center. Definitely, it's true. It seems that they did not send emails for this change. I have a medium account too and did not receive either an email or notification.
964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance To Add "USD To Crypto" Trading Pairs Soon on: March 24, 2018, 03:30:33 PM
The thought of purchasing crypto directly with USD maybe good, but we don't know yet how would they implement it. If you're willing to use it regardless of the process, then it's okay, else you'll wait and see first. Anyway, we don't know when is "soon" so...

Kiddman on MPGH

Both accounts always active at same time

lemonparty23 is his skype

He is aware of this thread but no doubt will play dumb

On skype says he doesnt even use telegram hence why the image above was posted.

Can paste the full conversation if needed
Etshy was last active today and still ignore this accusation.

Post all the proofs in your main post with the proper format, that's necessary so that DT members could check it and do further action (probably give a negative trust rating if proven). No one would PM you in telegram for that

966  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BountyPortals.com on: March 24, 2018, 11:02:34 AM
We have launched our portal today, please visit. Currently, one campaign is running: app.bountyportals.com
So is this a one time sign up now or just because there's only one running campaign? I visited your bountyportals thread, but I have not seen an announcement like this plus a brief info about what's new with the site at the moment.
967  Other / Meta / Re: Authorize log-in attempt by e-mail - Bitcointalk account on: March 24, 2018, 03:26:41 AM
Implement a log-in authorization by e-mail every time a different IP try to login in your account.
If there will be several options, authorization before the account will be accessed using a different device would be good too imo. A bit hassle only to those who don't have their own device to open bitcointalk.

There is already an authentication email sent once you try reset the password and/or change your email.
As announced by theymos here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2282758.0 (if someone wants to look for it)
968  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: instawallet claim on: March 23, 2018, 08:25:23 PM
2 e-mails and enough time, but still no answer. Not nice.
TryNinja sent a PM to him about this thread last March 4. He went online and had a post on March 7 and by checking his account, he was last active Today at 11:38:50 AM. He even had 2 posts, unfortunately he still did not reply here. Huh It's either you will choose to forget about this or continue waiting.
969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: MEDIUM is banning Bounty dedicated account on: March 23, 2018, 07:39:12 PM
Medium don't want unofficial posts about crypto on their platform anymore; there will be less spam, less scam because of their requirements. At least users will be sure that the blog/announcement came from the official company which is a good thing.

For the link of reference (since not mentioned in the main post) : https://help.medium.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000646167-Cryptocurrencies-on-Medium

[...] Notwithstanding the rules are clear and forbidden bounty articles without exceptions.
I'm not sure if some account will not be suspended, they mentioned: "depending on context"
Quote
Posts and accounts which do not meet these standards may be considered spam and are subject to suspension, depending on context.
970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Yobit blocked my account for using chat to promote my coin and froze my funds on: March 23, 2018, 06:23:51 PM
Yes i am ok if im banned from chat, yes im 100% sure, i did not do anything else, even my balance on it is low to do anything else, but its much for me. Yes im not sending tickets anymore.
I hope the admin. see this post
Did you post links in your chat? If yes, there's a possibility that they considered it as an infected link that's why your account have been blocked (that's based on their post on 2016). Anyway, another two users seems to have the same problem recently (See here & here)

[...]
To ask in the Yobit thread directly: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=914975.0
He will not be able to do so because the thread was locked since 2017.
971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Yobit blocked my account for using chat to promote my coin and froze my funds on: March 23, 2018, 03:37:12 PM
Afaik users that are disobeying chat rules will be banned only on chat and the accounts are not affected (well, mostly). Are you sure you did not do anything else?
Don't flood them with tickets, it won't help. Expect to wait long for their response, not even sure if they will, but who knows?
972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: SilentNotary The 1st Blockchain Notary Company in the world! on: March 22, 2018, 09:44:10 PM
20 more days to end the silentnotary tokens sale and SNTR team have raised the amount of 1323 ETH it is mentioned at their website so looking good but I was invested some of the money long back can tell me when will going to hit exchange.
After the ICO it will surely be listed on HitBTC. They have contacted other exchanges as well, but there's no confirmation yet. It was discussed on telegram, so to get timely updates/answers to your questions, I suggest you to join https://t.me/silentnotary
973  Other / Meta / Re: New rules to rank up is nice. on: March 22, 2018, 06:26:03 PM
I was curious as I read the title, thinking that you have a suggestion or something. After reading the content, I was like Huh it was not connected.

We can turn back to our newborn period, right? So as the forum.  Theymos can not turn the forum back to 9 years ago and launch the merit system at the new start of the forum. It's unrealistic, so that Theymos had to launched it in January (about two months ago) to help the forum.
You should appreciate Theymos efforts to control spammers, low-quality users ranked up to Ledgandary (just call them as shitty Ledgandary). Complaining won't help you to earn any merit.
I guess you mean "can't"
Read his post slowly and you'll realize that he was not complaining at all. He just shared that at first he doesn't like it, but now he accepted it and started seeing the advantage of the merit system.
974  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: hw i can open my binance account loosing my autheticator codes? on: March 22, 2018, 03:02:41 PM
It is possible to reset your 2FA. If you did not do KYC yet before losing your Auth, be ready as it seem to be necessary to gain access to your account again. Please follow the steps provided by Binance here in the link : How to reset Google 2FA
975  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia Exchange Failed Login Attempt on: March 20, 2018, 10:24:24 PM
I'm not sure how did they know that the email addresses were used in Cryptopia. If you have used your email address in other crypto related sites, it's possible that it's the reason why they thought that it might have been used in an exchange.

Cryptopia claimed that there was no hacked nor breached happened in their end. As they stated here, if you've used your address in other sites, you should check it at haveibeenpwned.com to know whether it has been compromised in a data breach.

On the other hand, what I was wondering is that, why would a unique email address used only for Cryptopia received a failed log in attempt email at the same date with this? (I saw some comments like this in their Reddit post). What a coincidence, isn't it? Anyway, if that's the case, you should message them on Facebook
976  Economy / Exchanges / Re: LiveCoin.net > Buy/Sell/Exchange > + New Markets on: March 20, 2018, 02:41:19 PM
[...]
Are you affiliated with LiveCoin? I just wonder why wouldn't the official LiveCoin account here in the forum posted these links instead?  Huh It's not in the site and no post on social media accounts about it too, so I think it would be better to wait for the confirmation/announcement before joining.
977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves funds to Bitcoin wallet on: March 20, 2018, 01:55:46 PM
You did not explain it well. You just said you receive funds in general, but we need to know whether you received Bitcoin or other waves token in your wallet. Anyway, what to do in different situations:

If you received Bitcoin:
You could directly send it to your Bitcoin Wallet. The process would be a bit different depending on the wallet you use (lite client or beta client). Please see the links below:

Withdraw Bitcoin using the Waves lite client
Withdraw Bitcoin using the Waves beta client

If you received Waves token:
You need to exchange the token first for bitcoin before making a BTC withdrawal. If you don't know how to trade tokens on the client, check the links below:

Trade tokens on Waves lite client
Trade tokens on Waves beta client
978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to safely hide Private Key ETH. I found a great way. on: March 18, 2018, 10:16:05 PM
It will be a bit hard for a forgetful person like me to do this, but might work for others.

Another option, if you plan to keep your Eth tokens for a long time, imo the safest way to secure your private key is to save it offline. If you plan to check your balances, don't open your wallet and just go to block explorers.
979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Plagiarism in Whitepapers, what do you think? on: March 18, 2018, 03:04:51 PM
it's fine to plagiarise white paper thus most of the coin's never deliver what inside the white paper perhaps the one who copy it can work it out.
NO. It will never be fine to plagiarize. It's just like doing a bad thing for a good purpose, it is still bad and you can't use your purpose as an excuse. If they can work the project out, why couldn't they start working on their own white paper and unique presentation? That makes sense right?

Plagiarism in Whitepapers by crappy ICOs/altcoins is common these days. But, it's not really Plagiarism if the author mention other whitepaper as source/reference Roll Eyes
True.
980  Economy / Exchanges / Re: AEX Exchange : I withdraw XEM but I dont received my COIN on: March 18, 2018, 02:04:27 PM
This user has the same problem as yours https://twitter.com/AEX_COM/status/974555449776197634 , if it already got solved I don't know. I suggest you to wait a little longer, for both your withdrawal and response from support.

I think it would be better to use other exchange next time. It seems that there have been several issues with the site. Check their FB page reviews.
