961  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] S5 in UK on: September 01, 2015, 10:54:24 AM
hiya guys, looking to grab a S5, Just the one with no PSU. might grab 2 if it's really cheep and you want rid before S7's come online.

Let me know what you got, and your price, I prefer this in UK or at least E.U. as I need a cheap unit.

As all ways I accept escrow (sebastianju) if you feel the need.

Best.

962  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] sp20e in hosting Washington on: August 31, 2015, 10:06:38 PM
How much is hosting where it is?
Thank you, but that sp20 at that speed should be pulling a lot less. Sure it's not shorting out on that bad die?

no idea, As it is in hosting , I dont have remote access to it, I will ask, They did say they would redistribute settings across the unit, I'm guessing this is what they meant.

EDIT, this is the reply I got.

You have 7 ASICs remaining. Since you paid for a certain amount of power, I reconfigured your machine so that it continues to use about the same amount of power despite having 1 fewer ASIC. In other words, I reallocated the power budget for the bad ASIC among the remaining ASICs. The higher the power supplied to each ASIC, the higher the hashrate. However, you get diminishing returns from adding power. That is, the higher the power supplied to each ASIC, the less efficient that ASIC is. When a Rockerbox ASIC is at its lowest power level, it might take 0.65 W to add 1 GH/s of performance. When a Rockerbox ASIC is close to its maximum power, it takes about 2 W to add 1 GH/s of performance. Your ASICs are now close to maximum power, which is why you aren't getting the same hashrate as before even though it's using about the same amount of power.
963  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Escrow list on: August 31, 2015, 07:05:05 PM
Should just let this thread die off since it was not updated for so long. Marco's thread seems more up to date and linked to more often.

well, this one is still linked from the goods section, there are still alot of new people that come here, so I dont think it should just go.

Marco's thread is missing a few people (ahemmm)

tho it's not using 1.08Kwh now, it's using 994w so look at price in the second colum (rate per Kwh/month)
965  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Escrow list on: August 31, 2015, 01:16:31 PM
I will be going over this again at some point,

I am a little stuck, this list is large with lots of members shouting to be on the list (most are new with less than 100 activity)

So I need to think better about the format, I welcome any ideas.

I still like to try and keep this going, it' still a popular thread.
966  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcointalk Escrows [Updated Daily] Trade Safely! on: August 31, 2015, 01:12:22 PM
Hi... i stop escrowing bitcointalk forum accounts. I made an announcement about that here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1159502.new#new and gave some tips and my templates for other escrows. Maybe some new escrows want to establish some trust as escrows and might find that useful. Smiley

I still escrow the normal things but the accounts seem to be a service with very limited use and a lot of time needed for. I simply can't put that amount of time into anymore.

I did escrow an account once, it was a nightmare, so I wont do any more.

But mainly I wont do it on principal now, think about it, if everyone is buying and selling accounts, how do you know who your dealing with?

the only two reasons to buy an account, either you are doing sig campaigns or you need an account with history to make you seam more trustworthy, IMO both are pointless.

actually just thought of a third, is there a noob limit to PM's and posting? in any case, I still dont think it's worth it. Bitcoin is all ready a anonymous platform, to change the pitch as the goal posts move about is stupid.
967  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] sp20e in hosting Washington (closed) on: August 31, 2015, 10:13:47 AM
Hiya, I got a unit I would like to sell, it has been in hosing in washington with toomin bros.

I also paid the $120 for a PSU, so it should come with it.

But please note, One of the chip has gone bad and it not running at full capacity (this as handy for me a it lowerd wattage and temp)

The hosting has been paid up till 10/28/2015 23:00:00. <washington DC time.

So still just under two months hosting!!!

I have had conformation I can sell and to let them know the details, As all ways I am happy to accept escrow, I would prefer sebastianju.

As for price, a fully working one goes for just under two coins now, It should have the PSU I paid for,
and two months hosting, Shoot me a price based on this.
968  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 30 Antminer S5 Units 1.45 BTC each (Only Canada) on: August 30, 2015, 04:11:47 PM
I would take 2 at 1.3 per unit, But I would want sebastianju for escrow.

It should no longer be a spam e-mail as it's from a direct private mail server, not from phpbb itself.

@Squall this Idea of making people to Post on the Forum. I am pretty Much Sure that all posts will be Random and not useful for discussion.

Thanks for writing.
