961  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: May 22, 2021, 07:42:55 PM
I think Morinho will overhaul his new team in a big way next season, because as far as I know Morinho is not a friendly coach to players he doesn't like, now management As Roma seem to have high hopes for their team's performance next season, even though they failed to win a European League ticket next season,  As Roma squad still has hopes to play on the european scene on the condition that they can guarantee tickets to qualify for third-class competition, namely the European Conference League for the season If they beat Spezia next Monday, in my opinion, Morinho's experience with Inter Milan in the 2008-2010 season has become a reference for AS Roma to recruit Morinho as their coach next season.

we should look forward to the progress or destruction of As Roma next season with Morinho
Well, it depends on the front office and ownership as well doesn't it? I mean when you give Mourinho what he wants, he usually does a huge overhaul which takes time to get together and build a chemistry plus it usually costs a bit as well, not a whole lot when you can sell the players he wants to get rid of, so you pay the ones he wants with the ones he doesn't want but that doesn't easily happen at all times, it requires a bit of time and these years are not that easy to make those kinds of transfers because of pandemic and lack of funds.

However assuming he could actually get what he wants and he can play the team the way he wants, there is no doubt that Mourinho is one of the best managers in the world, however when he doesn't get what he wants we have seen how terrible he could become as well and that is a big problem as well so if you get him, you need to give him what he wants.
962  Economy / Economics / Re: 3.9million users took part in the Elon Musk poll; What will be Tesla's decision? on: May 22, 2021, 04:19:49 PM
It's been almost twenty-four hours since Tesla CEO Elon Musk took to Twitter. He asked his followers in the poll whether they agreed with Tesla agreeing to use the meme coin as a payment option.
So far, 3901106 votes have been counted. Meanwhile, more than 3 million (78.2%) respondents voted "yes" and 21.8% were against.
Earlier this year, Elon Musk announced in a statement that Tesla had begun accepting the world's leading currency code, Bitcoin (BTC), and that the bitcoin received would not be converted into Fiat currency. Tesla also allocated $ 1.5 billion to buy bitcoins. It was later revealed that the company had liquidated ten percent of its BTC assets.
Elon saying that they are not going to be converting every Bitcoin they receive to fiat is what I never believed. Companies that are receiving bitcoin as payment are always converting it to fiat instantly they receive, so I thought to myself that they are never going to do that, unless maybe he said it because that the price of Bitcoin will keep going up and they are going to continue holding it to make more profit at the moment.

Anyways, at the end we have seen how it ended with their acceptance of Bitcoin, maybe they didn’t really do a pretty good research on it and that’s why the sudden change. Let’s see how they go with Dogecoin, a lot of people have believed that he (Elon Musk) is going to be manipulating the price of dogecoin. Let’s see what happens to dogecoin when the market starts going down.
963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A common enemy in the crypto world--Elon Musk! on: May 21, 2021, 06:06:29 PM
Elon Musk bought BTC some time ago, saying that BTC has various advantages;
He might have actually sold his coins that time and he announced that tesla will now accept bitcoin payments in order to hype the price and get the best price for his coins.

when he now cleared the warehouse after making money, say BTC all sorts of bad, which caused the extreme panic of the market.
Maybe he is buying some Bitcoins now and to get them at the cheapest value, he announced tesla will no longer accept bitcoins. I don't know what to make of his tweets and announcements but surely he is using tesla as a wall to hide behind and play with the market using tesla.

This the problem when a billionaire comes into the party of small investors, he can mould the market at his will and people will just never understand what he will do next. How come Elon was not aware that bitcoin mining costs resources? He should have acted better.
964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins with bright future like Bitcoin. on: May 21, 2021, 02:39:53 PM
top 20 cmc coins can already be said to be coins that will survive in the future, such as eth, bnb, ada, xrp, or you can find your own project but it will be much more difficult.
The challenge with investing in top-20 coins is that you will never get huge success because all the coins in top-20 show that they have reached their potential and are in a rather stable state which although gives you the advantage that there won't be a big drop either but that was a myth I had, which recently got broken as the whole market crashed.

The best way to maximize profits and the only working method I know is to invest in any coin you see listed at a reputed exchange like Binance, Coinbase, or any other exchange where volumes are big. For example, a coin is listed today at Binance then buy them and later usually the price goes higher then you can then sell them after which the price will become stable. After that, it won't drop/rise much unless there is a bull run.
965  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: your worst mistake on: May 20, 2021, 06:51:39 PM
I am a newbie on this forum. My main focus is trading ( crypto) I have been trading for a couple years. Just curious to ask a question : what was your worst mistake ( in the very beginning, 1st year).
Would be happy to read about your experience !
That depends on what kind of mistake you mean, if it’s about trading , or about our investment in general. I have been scammed once, but that never happened again till now because I wised up immediately and I am not going to let it happen again. Then as for trading, I think one mistake  that I made as newbie was that I started trading when I haven’t had full understanding of how trading works.

So, it’s very important that anyone who wants to be a trader should learn everything from the start to finish, because if you don’t do that you’re only going to be putting yourself at risk of losing money in the market. That’s the only thing I have to say and I hope that you learn from that and good luck.
966  Economy / Economics / Re: Real Truth about money economy and Investment on: May 20, 2021, 06:12:42 PM
If You Ain't Go to harvard or yale or You dont Work one of those harvard yale guys.
Then You Don't Know how the stocks work.
You Don't Know how the banks works
You Don't Know nothing real about Investment s.
U Don't Know how money world works.
U Think You know... But really is.
You been learning Some useless crap You cant fight against anyone in Financial world who Got real knowledge.
You might just be the data entry processor in the office but u Ain't husle.
And You been teached purposly the useless crap.

You need Only know few major things.
Once You know those u measure Everything by them.
That’s what you may think but not everyone believes the same thing. Yes it’s true that these top universities that students that goes to these schools will have access to high level standard of education, but that doesn’t mean that they will become the all knowing.

There are still students that went to the least school but hard work still helped them achieve more than what those that studied at Yale and the rest of them are able to achieve. So, it’s not really about just going to Yale university, yes those schools do help, but you still hard work because hard work is what’s going to determine where you’re heading to in life. If you’re not hard working you’re going nowhere.
967  Economy / Economics / Re: A Sudden Price Drop in The Crypto Markets on: May 20, 2021, 01:01:23 PM
A sudden price drop in the crypto markets along with the deepening points loss in the dow jones point to a a slow and steady downward trend as of late. Is the bull run of 2021 over? Are these the marks of the beginning of something much worse to come? A major recession, a new crypto winter? What could possibly be next? Any comments and thoughts are more than welcome.
First of all bull and bear runs in crypto are not seasonal, I mean they can come and change anytime. You might see a bull inside a bear run and vice versa. I am least concerned with the drop in the prices of Bitcoins because it just makes the market more stable. Having a solid 45k is better than having a hollow and hyped 55k.

You can understand it by the Doge example. As a long-term investor would you like to see where dogecoin is now or you would like to see a natural growth and doge sitting at 10 cents (although there's no room for natural growth in Doge). Right now, the price is just hyped and everyone knows it. Bitcoin is going to become rarer in future so no reason to panic or even.
968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto-Casinos and KYC on: May 19, 2021, 03:39:52 PM
With casinos, as well as with the exchanges, sometimes happens similar KYC requirements, for some reason necessarily after trying to withdraw funds! And until then you could safely make deposits! Grin I consider it a scam, and leave such sites! Who knows where your data and documents can get then!
I don't think that is the case. They allow deposits and even allow you to gamble because they believe the player is going to come out clean and asking for documents doesn't necessarily mean the casino has flagged you. It only means that they want to verify who the player is and from where he comes because ultimately the casinos are operating legally and have to answer if they somehow let a mistake happen on their end and might even mean their license being revoked.

I don't think any gambling provider can ensure 100% security of our personal data. No one knows what their leaks could lead to. I am in favour of giving my personal information and allowing it to be processed and stored only in exceptional cases.
That is alarming. But, then I wonder what they can do with our identity if it goes in the wrong hands? If we are afraid of them misusing it, we can always use a watermark on top of the images we give them, I think that solves the problem completely.
969  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I bought my first 500 us dollars Bitcoin! on: May 19, 2021, 01:10:17 PM
So happy with dip that I could buy this dip because of him!! I am sorry guys if you lost some % on your BTC but this was good for a poor person like me.
Congrats mate. It’s nice that you’re taking this opportunity and I know you’re not going to be regretting the decision you took later, because I strongly believe that there is still going to more increase. As long as you’re ready to have patience, the market never stops going up, even with downtrends, you have to understand that it is not the end. After going down the price is still going to get back up. That’s a sure thing.

So, always try to have patience. And apart from having patience you should also learn to be doing your research/analysis, because that’s going to help you understand the market better, so that you don’t make mistakes.
970  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should you buy bitcoin right now? on: May 19, 2021, 12:44:43 PM
it's too late to buy Bitcoin. Its value is increasing day by day.We should have bought it couple of years ago. In 2025 people will say it again, it's too late now. It us said that the future economy will depend on bitcoin.
If you’re investing in cryptocurrency, as long as you have plans that you’re going to be holding the coins that you’re buying for long term, then it’s definitely going to be profitable. But if it’s not like that, and you have plans for a short term, then you might be disappointed.

A lot of people are always hoping for a short term profit and they tend to get disappointed. And situations like this gets worse when the investors invests money that they are going to be needing within a short time, and around the time they are going to need that money, it might be that the market has crashed. Even if they want to continue with the HODL, they can’t do it because they are in need of that money at the moment. I have seen this happen to people ,and it’s not good.
971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons DogeCoin coin flip Bitcoin in the future on: May 19, 2021, 10:20:00 AM
1. Better technology transactions speed/fees.
2. Backed by a dedicated billionare that he commits to his projects. Elon Musk is not a type of guy who start something and leave it on the dust.
3. Devs are going to improve the technology far more with Elon Musk.
4. More exchangers, merchants start to accept Dogecoin and it becomes stable coin.
5. Dogecoin will receive mass adoption.
Yes I believe that Dogecoin is a really gaining wide adoption and a lot of people has been rushing into it because of the bullish market, nobody wants to miss out. But at that, I don’t think that Dogecoin will be able to overtake Bitcoin, an altcoin remains an altcoin.

Moreover there are still lots of other coins out there that are really good that a lot of people can go for. And in terms of transaction speed dogecoin is not the fastest. Maybe let’s be looking forward to when Elon Musk starts working with devs and how far they are going to be improving. And yes I know for sure that at this time it is going to really improve and some things are really going to change, but I don’t think it’s going to be to an extent that they are going to be replacing Bitcoin lol.
972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A question no one ever asked on: May 19, 2021, 09:15:17 AM
Honestly I haven't seen anyone asking this type of question on here before so I think maybe I should? Can crypto gets to a stage that bear market will be eradicated? That we won't have to wait 4 years for another bull season to come?
What makes you think that there is going to be just bull market and nothing bear market? There will always be sweet and sour, you can’t just have sweet only, sour is what makes you appreciate that you have sweet; that there is bear market that’s what makes you appreciate the bear market. It’s a natural thing so it’s going to keep on happening.

Even assets that are stable still have up and downs, but the reason why they are called stable is because they don’t fluctuate as much as cryptocurrencies does, the movements are always small and not too much. Maybe Crypto will get to a level in future where it will be seen as a stable asset and not a volatile one as it’s being called now. But in a time like that you shouldn’t big bull market as you’re having now.
973  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: May 18, 2021, 09:29:32 PM
The matches that will determine the champion in France will start at 22:00 on Sunday. Lille-Angers and Brest-Paris SG matches will be played. Champion will be determined according to the winner of these matches. There is a Cup final between Paris SG-Monaco tomorrow at 22:15. If Paris SG does not suffer an injury in this final, they will survive their last game without any losses.
I wonder what the result of Monaco - PSG game in the cup final will be also. If Monaco become victorious at the end, this might demoralize PSG a little before the last week games. And Lille could really benefit from it. As long as Lille don't make a mistake and win, it's over and Lille are the champions. And I hope that will happen.  Grin
Honestly this made it so much more fun to bet on the last game. I am going to bet that both lille and PSG will win their games, making Lille the champions, but also me a bit more richer hopefully. If I were angers I would probably knowingly lose the game, not make it too obvious but try to lose just so I could stick it to PSG, I understand that some people may like PSG but you have to admit when you are champions season in and season out and nobody else ever becomes champions, some people will start to hate you.

Even if I am fan of a team (I am not french, have no teams I follow) that loses championship 10 years in a row, I would rather few teams take turns becoming champions instead of one team becoming champions. It was Lyon back in the day and now it is PSG, it is getting boring, so it would be lovely to see Lille become champions this year.
974  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥Sportbook and Casino: BITSLER > $10,000 DAILY Wagering contest < on: May 18, 2021, 08:26:26 PM
What does the "first bet per match" mean in the basketball promo? It's a good thing that the 16-point advantage applies to any point in the match. ~
Bettors are allowed to place multiple bets in a single match. It means you can place bet on both teams at any game. If anyone place bet on both team one by one then he/she will win prize from this promotion, no matter which teams get the lead by 16 points. It won't be profitable for a casino and user will always have advantages from this. That's why, they made the rules ‘First bet per match’. Hope you got the point.
That 16+ point thing is a lot more in NBA than most people realize. I understand that if you are not a huge NBA fan you may think that "well if a team leads with 16 points or more they will win anyway" right? Well that's wrong, I do not have any data at all to back this up but there are plenty of games when a team leads with 16+ points at certain point and end up losing, more frequent when the lead is very early, I have seen teams lead that much in the second quarter and then get devastated by losing the same game.

I am a Spurs fan and I can tell you how many times in the last 2 years we ended up ahead of other teams by a large point and then end up losing the game. Which is why this is a very good promotion, if your team is ahead of 16 points or more, you are a winner and after that you could just close the game up and not care who wins, that's a big deal.
975  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: May 18, 2021, 07:41:48 PM
A reminder for you all.

Gp of Monaco is special and in case you forgot it the free practice 1 and free practice 2 are back on Thursday as the tradition.
This is the only Gran Prix in the schedule where they did not race on Friday.

So

Thursday FP1 FP2
Friday Shopping Day
Saturday FP3 Qualify
Sunday Race

Prediction theater Sun.
What is shopping day? I never heard of that before, I am not the greatest F1 in the world I have to say that, maybe this has been a thing for decades who knows, I never really realized it though. So drivers just go...shopping? Or better yet it is just a down time to relax and enjoy monaco basically, maybe they just train and sleep well and eat well to get ready.

However practice on Friday makes much more sense because when you have so many laps in one place on Friday, have qualifiers on Saturday, when it comes to Sunday everyone is quite ready and memorized everything, when you give a break I feel like that disturbs the flow of things, but hey if this is something they always do then I do not know, they decided on such a thing here so who am I to judge them for it, this is the freaking FIA we are talking about I am sure they know better than me Cheesy lol.
976  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: reasons for bad trading on: May 18, 2021, 07:08:05 PM
the biggest impacts to our psychology? maybe the media, the news, the rumors.
we read something and anticipate that it will move 'others' and so we act on our own.
we do it, but we have no idea what it should mean. what should a musk tweet mean to a price? 3%? 10%?
Yes it is very important to avoid these things, and know where you really stand when you’re trading or investing. The problem I have had sometimes that made me sell some of my tokens is usually because I am in need of the money at the moment, and sometimes when I am in need of the money the market will be going down and I will have no other option than to sell the tokens or coins and use the money for whatever it is that I want to use it for.

It’s not easy because you can’t keep that money there when you have a pressing need that you really need to solve once and for all. That’s why it’s very important to have enough funds that you will still have for running some other issues and then also have funds that you invest in assets like this without touching them no matter what.
977  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what are you investment strategy on: May 18, 2021, 06:28:52 PM
i have tried trading and discovered that i loose my self whenever the market make huge moves . i sold quite early at any bull market and dump at any instant of the bear market. i find it difficult to control my emotions. since this year, i choose to move into farming, pools and it has been wonderful.

i choose lending and borrowing as my strategy.
farming also is part of it

i FARM ACROSS Bsc to matic and solana. it is a rotation for me. gains from bsc goes to matic. from matic to solana and from solana back to bsc.
Uuhm the normal thing for me to do is just Hodl. That has been it for me, and I always try to have patience.
If I invest my money in the market and the price of the asset is not yet up to the level I want it to be, I am not going to sell the coins and I am going to continue holding the coins until the price goes up and I make my profit.

You have to understand both fundamental and technical analysis, whether you want to be HODL’ing or trading, any one you choose, as long as you understand the analysis and you’re good at it, you’re always going to be more successful than those who have no clue.
978  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you see yourself quitting after this bullrun? on: May 18, 2021, 05:44:35 PM
How about you? Do you see yourself quitting your day job after this current bullrun? I hope you make enough to start with a business of your own.
No I am not going to be quitting my job anytime soon. I did make some profit from this bull run, though I wouldn’t say that it is enough for me to resign from my job, but it is enough for me to stay laying my path. The money I have made so far from the investment, the profit I have now is enough for me to start up a good business that I can be making side income from, and that’s what I have been working towards.

And maybe from the side business I will be able to raise more money and grow it and then be able to quit from my office job and go into a business of my own full-time. For now I am not going to quit cryptocurrency investment, I am still going to continue with it. I have never had any intention of quitting.
979  Economy / Economics / Re: The change in buying and selling in society is the effect of the internet on: May 17, 2021, 08:42:32 PM
Is the internet making people lazy or what do you think?
No, the internet is just saving our time and it is up to us how we utilize that extra time. If you are getting lazy it is because you don't care about your health. It is similar to whether we should use car or walk because cars are making us lazy but people who are smart will spend one hour in the gym to get even better health than six hours of walking.

Changes are happening because of evolution of internet everywhere and not just in buying and selling habits. For example, my bank removes need of papers for availing services from them and I am able to availability of corona vaccine in my town and everything. But, criticizing easy availability of internet for other human errors, may not be a right thing to do.
980  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what do you guys use bitcoin for? on: May 17, 2021, 05:53:17 PM
Are you guys currently using bitcoin to make payments or making purchases with bitcoin? maybe for invest only? I'm just wondering if bitcoin  will recover from that tesla did.
I'm still confused why people keep talking about this Tesla news. I haven't read the news and I don't understand what's really happening, but from what I have read so far, people are saying that Tesla decided to stop accepting Bitcoin as a payment on their website. If that's just what happened, then I don't really see how we can link that to the price that has been falling. Unless they sold their $1.5 billion investment in bitcoin??? Because that's the only thing I think can affect the market in one way or the other. That aside I don't think not accepting it as payment can do much.

Anyway, I won't say much since I haven't gotten to know much about it. As for what I have been making use of bitcoin for, it's only for investment and for making transactions. I haven't used Bitcoin to make a purchase before. Maybe one day I might do that, but it hasn't been of interest to me to try it.
